The King of Fighters '95 Rebirth

This fiction is about The King of Fighters '94 characters story before and until the end of the tournament. I don't own The King of Fighters' characters, they belong to SNK.
Chapter 2: Reuniting
Kim's Academy, South Korea.
Choi Bounge and Chang Koehan were taking a break from their training with Kim. "This routine training is killing me, buddy-boy!" Choi tried to let of steam with his partner Chang Koehan.
"You're right, but the time we try to get away from here Kim will stop us!" Chang said already conformed with their situation.
"We could try to fight him on the same time." Choi said trying to find a solution to both of them.
"If we could do that, probably we already would have done it, don't you think?" Chang knew both of them were no match for Kim.
A letter had arrived addressed to Kim; Chang took it.
"What is that?" Choi asked Chang waiting for some explanation.
"It's probably an invitation to The King of Fighters." Chang told Choi.
"This year again? Last year was already hard to deal with it." Choi replied Chang.
"This invitation has a 'R' on it just like the previous one." Chang warned his friend.
"You can't mean that Rugal guy is still alive, can you?" Choi asked his partner again.
"Yeah, he should be dead." Chang replied to his friend.
Kim just showed up after leaving the gym for a moment and went to the two.
"So, let's get back to training?!" Kim called the two.
"Sure. By the way, this came for you." Choi said taking the invite from Chang and handing it to Kim.
"It seems that King of Fighters is back this year, this time King of Fighters 1995. That must be seen as an incentive for training, we will soon start to double our efforts in preparation for the tournament." Kim warned the two.
"Say what?!" Choi and Chang thought the same thing to say.
"Maybe if we hold out until the tournament…" Chang started saying.
"I think you're right." Choi replied to him.
"What are you two talking so long about? Let's hurry to the training." Kim said convincing them to go back to training. Or maybe instead of convincing, forcing them.
"Right." Chang replied to him.
"As you wish." Choi also replied to their master losing their chance of escaping.
Small Island, Mediterranean Sea.
Terry and Andy were training far away from their country in order to focus specifically on their fighting skills.
"How are you pals? It seems you've been working hard." Joe Higashi said appearing before them.
"If it isn't our buddy Joe, you have just arrived?" Terry asked his friend.
"Yeah, and it's not just that. I dropped at the hotel and found something addressed for you." Joe said showing the two an invitation to King of Fighters.
"Is this an invitation to the King of Fighters?" Andy asked confused with such thing.
"Again? Something is not right." Terry said to both of them.
"On top of that, I just saw Mai too…" Joe Higashi warned Andy Bogard.
"You mean Mai is here too?" Andy asked Joe.
"She was here until the minute she saw this invite. She then realized you two would team up and got all peeved. She got back to the plane." Joe said to both of them.
"You sure know how to make girls cry, don't you Andy?" Joe said directly to Andy.
"I can just expect she did that to join the same team from last year, don't you think?" Andy replied to Joe.
"What bothers me is who is sponsoring the tournament this time. Rugal died last year, am I right? Maybe it could be Geese or Krauser." Terry said to the two worried about it.
"You can probably be right; this came along with the KOF invite." Joe pulls out another letter.
"What is this?" Andy asked him.
Terry removed the letter from the envelope and read it.
"Dear Terry, Andy and Joe. This letter should be reaching you at the same time you get your invitation to The King of Fighters. Just as before, I am unfortunately unable to take part in this year's event, but I've prepared a little fun for you in this time around. I pray you enjoy it. I'm pulling for you… Your pal, Geese Howard." Terry finished reading the letter out loud for the other two to hear.
"Just what fiendish scheme has Geese in store for us?!" Andy scared thinking about that.
"We can surmise that he is not the sponsor for this King of Fighters. But that doesn't mean Geese isn't planning nothing, something he will do about it." Joe said to both his friends.
"Could it be Krauser then?" Andy asked.
"There's no proof of that, we can't assume it." Joe said.
"The most important thing right now it's that if there's a KOF tournament to be held, we naturally must be there." Terry said to both of his teammates.
"We got to win whatever the circumstances!" Joe said enthusiastic.
"We better start getting ready for it." Terry said to the two.
"Yeah!" Andy said agreeing with his brother.
"It looks like it's time for me to get a little crazy yet again!" Joe Higashi said as the sunset came.
Illusion bar, England.
King was tending bar on the graveyard shift at her tavern. As she spied the time, she mumbled with a sigh.
"Howdy-do!" Yuri Sakazaki greeted King with her shining happiness.
"So, Yuri. How are you? Coming all the way from Mexico to England, or is it South Town again?" King asked her longtime friend.
"We keep traveling, but I was recently in USA. So, yeah, coming from South Town." Yuri replied her friend.
Another friend of theirs came to reunite with the two again. She entered the establishment walking stealth as she was and soon revealed herself.
"Good evening you two, it seems I chose the right day to come." Said the kunoichi to her teammates.
"Actually, we two planned to come here to see you, King." Yuri said excited after being rejected on her family team of Kyokugenryu, and Mai was rejected by Andy and his team.
"You're probably after this, aren't you?" King took out from her breast pocket a King of Fighters invitation.
"So, we three are going together again, right?" Yuri asked the bartender.
"I regret to inform you…" King said seeing her friends' reaction.
"You don't mean we can't this year." Yuri said desperately while Mai was just starting to get sad again.
"I regret to inform you that you two will have to tolerate me once again this year!" King said laughing afterwards.
"That was mean!" Yuri said a little angry.
"You two are so predictable." King said laughing again.
"I guess that's it then. Who would be this 'R' this time? Rugal died last year, didn't it?" Mai said waiting for some plausible answer.
"I don't know who can be this time either. But if there's something I know is that we will have to fight to win the tournament and beat everyone we have to." King said taking the invite back and getting ready for the day to come.
