"Remember, one day you'll be King and as my heir-" Scar said.

"And I'll take care of the kingdom and lead it to glory," the cub replied, annoyed by his father's repetitive statements.

"Well, since you seem to know so much, I think you will be a very good king," Scar said

"Is the place always like this?" The cub asked, referring to the barren wasteland around them.

"What do you mean?"

"This place is such a barren wasteland. Was it always like this?"

"No, it was once a prosperous place," Scar admitted.

"Then what made it like this?" The cub pressed further.

"Your uncle Mufasa used to rule the Pride Lands like a greedy king, and I'm here to fix it, but it will take time," Scar lied.

"Hey Scar!" Shenzi called out. "Sarabi and the other Lionesses are refusing to hunt!"

"What should we do to her, Scar? Kill her?" Banzai suggested.

"No, not yet, you idiot! Take care of Kumiza, and I'll handle her," Scar instructed before leaving.

"Hey, Brat! You better not mess with us like last time!" Banzai warned.

"Aw, are you about to cry just thinking about it?" Kumiza teased, causing Ed to cry in response.

"He'll keep doing that for hours. Look at what you've done!" Shenzi complained.

"Bug it off. Just tell him to stop being a crybaby," Kumiza said dismissively.

"I am ten times the king Mufasa was!" Scar yelled.

"Should we... check on them?" Kumiza asked

"No, Scar said you should stay here!" Shenzi said, trying to keep Kumiza from leaving. However, that didn't stop him, as he left anyway.

"Hey, you come back here!" Banzai called out.

"Who cares at this point? Let's go check on Scar," Shenzi said

"Simba... Simba! I'm a little surprised to see you alive," Scar sarcastically said.

"Who's that?" Kumiza wondered.

"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't rip you apart," Simba growled.

"You must understand... the pressures of ruling a kingdom," Scar explained.

"Are no longer yours. Step down, Scar," Simba replied firmly.

Scar chuckled, "I would naturally, however, there is one little problem."

"You see them?" Scar pointed out the hyenas. "They think I'm king."

"Well, we don't. Simba's the rightful king," Nala joined in.

"The choice is yours, Scar. Either step down or fight," Simba threatened.

"Beat him up, Dad!" Kumiza whispered.

"Why must this all end in violence? I'd hate to be responsible for the death of a family member. Wouldn't you agree, Simba?" Scar said.

"I have to help him! The pride is betraying him..." Kumiza said as he rushed inside Pride Rock.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing?" Shenzi said, blocking his way.

"I'm going to help Dad!" Kumiza replied.

"Not so fast, bratty. You wouldn't make it out alive," Banzai called out. "You stay here and watch!"

"And I'm not going to do what you say," Kumiza retorted.

"We will make you," Shenzi threatened. "Make sure he doesn't escape!" The rest of the hyenas were ordered to take Kumiza and keep a close watch on him.

"Hey, let me go, that hurts!" Kumiza said as the hyena grabbed him by his nape.

"You're staying here while the rest fight to defend the throne!" The hyena said, keeping him under control.

"Yeah, right..." Kumiza muttered as he noticed a hole that could help him escape. He managed to break free and fled towards it.

As he emerged from the den, Kumiza was met with a horrifying sight – Priderock was engulfed in flames.

"Dad, I..." Kumiza said, but he stopped when he saw his father talking with the hyenas.

"Friends?!" Shenzi chuckled. "I thought he said we're the enemy."

"Yeah, that's what I heard!" Banzai added, adding to the confusion.

"Enemy" The rest said

As Kumiza witnessed his father's life-threatening situation, he couldn't just stand by. Despite the danger, he knew he had to do something to help Scar.

"Stop that! I thought you were our loyal followers!" Kumiza exclaimed, trying to reason with the hyenas.

"Kumiza... please... run," Scar begged as he was being bitten by the hyenas.

"Not without you, Dad!" Kumiza firmly replied, refusing to abandon his father.

"Oh... I always wanted to do this," Shenzi chuckled. "We are getting a lion cub as an addition to our new meal!"

"You like that, Ed?" Banzai asked as Ed laughed maniacally, clearly agreeing with Shenzi's plan.

"Let's make a run for it!" Kumiza exclaimed as the hyenas pursued them through the pridelands and into the treacherous Outlands.

"Kumiza… The hyenas are about to catch up, and I don't want you to die," Scar begged, his voice trembling. "Please promise me one thing…"

"You know I can't leave you, Dad," Kumiza sobbed, tears streaming down his face.

"You must," Scar insisted, his gaze filled with a mix of love and pain. "There's no other way. Just promise me one thing."

"What is it?" Kumiza asked, his heart heavy with sorrow.

"Run… Run away and never return to the pridelands," Scar said, his voice filled with desperation. "Simba and the new regime will try their best to kill my offspring. I want you to be safe, more than anything else, Kumiza."

"Dad, you know I won't abandon you," Kumiza said, his voice unwavering.

"I know," Scar replied, a tear escaping his eye. With a heavy heart, he pushed Kumiza gently into the river.

"Dad! Noo!" Kumiza yelled, trying to resist the inevitable separation.

"Oh, look who we have here," Shenzi taunted. "All alone. Did your brat leave ya?"

"He is safe…" Scar retorted defiantly.

"Oh well, there goes our addition!" Banzai added

The hyenas ruthlessly put an end to the once great Scar, sealing his fate. With Scar gone, Simba would become the true king of the Pride Lands, determined to recover the kingdom to its former glory.

"Dad..." Kumiza sobbed as he accepted the harsh reality of his father's death, sitting on a river log, overcome with grief and loss.

"I need the heir!" Zira exclaimed.

"It is unfortunate, Zira," the vulture replied. "But after searching for a while, it seems like the heir died with Scar."

"Unacceptable!" Zira said, as she angrily clawed a log. "How will we restore Scar's rightful throne without the heir?"

"Mother, I can do it. I will be the heir!" Nuka interjected.

"Don't fool yourself, Nuka! You are miserable and weak! You are unsuited to be the heir," Zira retorted.

"I-I understand, mother," Nuka said, dejectedly.

"Zira, you do not need a blood heir to restore Scar's rightful throne," the vulture chimed in.

"What do you mean?" Zira asked, intrigued.

"While searching for the heir, I found two cubs who seemed to be abandoned," the vulture explained. "One female, and one male. They appear to be twins."

"What are you suggesting? I'm all ears," Zira said, her curiosity piqued.

"With the heir gone, you can train one of these cubs and claim that they are the true heir, teaching them the ways of Scar," the vulture suggested.

"Great idea," Zira replied with a cunning grin. "Bring them to me."

Kumiza ran away as far as he could, just as his father had wanted, venturing deep into the distant wilderness, far away from the pridelands.

After hours of relentless running, he found himself now at a considerable distance from his home and his father's kingdom. Exhaustion slowly overcame him, and it wouldn't be too long until he succumbed to unconsciousness.

"What the hell is this?" a leopard said as he spotted a lion cub without energy. "A lion?"

"Enemy or no?" a black crow questioned.

"He is still alive…" the leopard said, showing interest. "We could train him... wake him up."

"What the hell are you talking about? What do you mean by train?" a rhino complained.

"We will teach him our ways. We'll have a young member of our clan. Wouldn't that be cool?" the leopard suggested.

"A lion in our clan?!" the black crow exclaimed, surprised by the unusual idea.

The idea intrigued the leopard, who was known as Kito, and he continued persuading the other animals. "Think about it, friends," Kito urged, "With a lion in our clan, we could gain a powerful ally. Plus, he could learn our ways and bring a unique perspective to our group. It might just work!"

The rhino, named Tumo, remained hesitant. "Are you sure about this pal? Remember the last time we had a youngling? It didn't go well"

The black crow, named Mavu suggested another idea "Why can't we just eat him?

"Are you serious?!. He's just a cub, weak and lost. We have a chance to show him a different path, to teach him about our ways. Let's give him a chance!"

"Errr fine!" The rest reluctantly agreed

As Kumiza slowly opened his eyes, he found himself surrounded by these three peculiar creatures. Confused and disoriented, he cautiously asked, "Who... who are you?"

"Well you little youngling, we are the people who just saved you" Mavu said

"Thanks, But I have to go" Kumiza said

"That's it?! You're leaving?!" Mavu exclaimed

"See, told you, This won't work" Tumo said

"Let me talk to him" Kito said as he approached Kumiza

"What happened kid, What's your name?" Kito asked

"Nothing important, My name is a secret, I just have to go" Kumiza replied

"Where are you going?" Kito asked

"Far away" Kumiza replied

"I don't think that's a location kid" Kito said "You can come with us, and join us"

Kumiza took a deep breath, He looked back one last time, knowing he was leaving behind everything he had ever known. He thought about it, Maybe this is the second chance? His father wanted him to be safe after all.

"My name is Moyo... And I'll come with you," Moyo said as he tried to hide his real identity
