Meriel came running across the school playground, throwing herself into her daddies' arms. She was wearing her biggest smile and was obviously excited about something.

"Looks like someone's had a good day," Jack said, twirling his daughter around before setting her back on her feet.

"Uh huh!" Meriel nodded enthusiastically. "I got a gold star for my spelling!" She beamed up at her parents, practically bursting with pride.

"Congratulations, sweetheart!" Ianto crouched down to hug her. "That's wonderful!"

"Come on, hurry up!" Meriel grabbed Jack and Ianto's hands, impatient to get home. "I want to show my star to Nosy!"
