Hey everyone! How y'all doing? Episode 9 is finally out and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

It took me a special extra time to write it because at some point I wasn't liking the result and I just took a break and started having new better ideas for it. That's what a clear mind can do lol.

Well, since there's no new reviews so far, let's just get to the episode.

Don't forget to review the episodes so I can answer your review in the next one I post.

Anyway, let's just get to the episode and I really hope you like it!

[Chris stands at the dock, camera focused on him.]

Chris: "Last time on Total Drama Wawanakwa... secrets were revealed, tensions soared, and alliances were formed!"

[Quick cut to various scenes from the previous episode.]

Chris: "We got a glimpse into the family drama when Rodrick's hidden secret came to light. His mom's health condition had been kept under wraps, and he wasn't too thrilled when Jackie's teasing hit a nerve during breakfast."

[Camera shifts to Cameron standing beside Chris.]

Chris: "And speaking of surprises, we brought back a familiar face. Yep, you guessed it, the Bubble Boy himself, Cameron!"

[Clips of Cameron's impressive work with the killer robots are shown.]

Chris: "The challenge saw the contestants building boats to race across the treacherous waters. Secrets were flowing faster than the waves, with Derek revealing Rodrick's hidden secret to Jackie."

[Scenes of the boat-building challenge, Derek talking to Jackie, and Rodrick overhearing their conversation are shown.]

Chris: "But oh boy, Rodrick was eavesdropping, and let's just say he didn't take kindly to Derek's revelation. The family feud took a whole new twist as Rodrick started plotting against his own cousin."

[Images of Rodrick plotting and scheming are shown.]

Chris: "Zane, on the other hand, was keeping his own knowledge under wraps. Turns out, our street-smart mechanic has some serious mechanical skills, thanks to his shady past."

[Clips of Zane in action and his conversation about his mechanic skills are shown.]

Chris: "Then came the boat race, where strategies were formed and alliances were tested. The Swift Deers ended up sinking their chances and lost the challenge, thanks in part to Rodrick and Derek's bickering."

[Scenes of the boat race, teams strategizing, and the Swift Deers losing are shown.]

Chris: "But it wasn't just boats sinking – tensions between Rodrick and Derek reached new heights. And in a shocking twist, Rodrick proposed an alliance to Zane."

[Clips of Rodrick and Derek's conflict, Rodrick proposing to Zane, and Zane's reaction are shown.]

Chris: "At the campfire ceremony, the tension was palpable as the marshmallows dwindled. In the end, it was Derek who had to say his goodbyes and board the Boat of Losers."

[A clip of Derek leaving on the Boat of Losers is shown.]

Chris: "So, what's next for our campers? Will alliances hold strong, or will they crumble under the weight of the competition? Find out on this episode of Total... Drama... Wawanakwa!"

[The camera now fades out to the intro.]

Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine,

You guys are on my mind and now I think the answer is plain to see,

I wanna be famous.

I wanna live close to the sun,

Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,

Everything to prove, nothing in my way

I'll get there one day.

Cause, I wanna be famous!

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

[The camera opens on the Hazardous Bears girls' cabin, where Iris is sitting on her bed with an acoustic guitar in her hands. She's in a slightly frustrated mood, trying to tune the guitar strings, and mumbling to herself.]

Iris: [muttering] "Come on, you piece of junk... Why can't I get you to sound right?"

[As Iris continues to struggle with the guitar, the door to the cabin swings open, and Carlos and Bri walk in. They exchange a quick smile before noticing Iris's predicament.]

Carlos: [grinning] "What's going on in here, Iris? Having a little battle with your guitar?"

[Bri chuckles and playfully nudges Carlos.]

Bri: "Don't tease her, Carlos. She's just trying to make music happen."

[Iris lets out a sigh of frustration and puts the guitar aside for a moment.]

Iris: "It's not funny, guys. I've been trying to play this song for days, and this stupid thing just won't cooperate."

[Carlos walks closer, genuinely curious.]

Carlos: "What song are you trying to play?"

[Iris's cheeks turn slightly pink, but she avoids making direct eye contact with Carlos.]

Iris: "Oh, it's nothing special. Just a song I heard somewhere."

[Bri smirks knowingly, sensing the underlying sentiment.]

Bri: "Hmm, a mysterious song, huh?"

[Iris shrugs, trying to play it cool.]

Iris: "Yeah, whatever. The point is, I can't seem to get it right, and it's driving me crazy."

[Just then, the door opens again, and Ramiro walks in, looking intrigued.]

Ramiro: "What's with all the noise in here? Someone summon a wild beast?"

[Bri rolls her eyes, used to Ramiro's antics.]

Bri: "No. Iris is just having a guitar-tuning crisis."

[Carlos raises an eyebrow, looking hopeful.]

Carlos: "You happen to know anything about tuning guitars, Ramiro?"

[Ramiro smirks confidently and crosses his arms.]

Ramiro: "Hand it over, Iris. How hard can it be?"

[Iris hesitates but finally hands her guitar to Ramiro, who takes it with exaggerated confidence. He plucks a few strings, then starts adjusting the tuning pegs, trying to tune the guitar. Everyone watches with anticipation, but after a few moments, Ramiro stops and looks puzzled.]

Carlos: [raising an eyebrow] "Everything alright there?"

Ramiro: [frowning] "Yeah, totally. Just a minor setback. No worries."

[Iris starts to look worried as she sees the expression on Ramiro's face.]

Iris: "What did you do?"

[Ramiro grins mischievously.]

Ramiro: "Oh, nothing much. Just realized I can't actually tune a guitar."

[Iris's eyes widen in shock, and her voice rises.]

Iris: "You WHAT?"

[As Iris lunges forward to grab her guitar, there's a sudden snapping sound, and everyone freezes.]

Ramiro: [sheepish] "Oops."

[The guitar strings break, and Iris stares at the ruined instrument in disbelief.]

Iris: [seething] "You broke my guitar!"

[Ramiro tries to play it off casually.]

Ramiro: "Eh, consider it a sacrifice to the music gods."

[Iris's anger is palpable, and she practically seethes.]

Iris: "Get out."

[Ramiro holds up his hands defensively and starts backing towards the door.]

Ramiro: "Hey, no need to be so melodramatic. I'll just, you know, be somewhere else."

[He quickly exits the cabin, leaving a furious Iris behind.]

Bri: [winces] "Well, that could have gone better."

[Iris glares at the broken guitar, seething with frustration.]

[As the scene shifts from the cabin to outside, Rodrick and Zane are seen standing together. Rodrick leans against the cabin wall, lost in thought, while Zane casually holds a bag of chips. The atmosphere is a bit awkward, with the tension between them palpable. Zane breaks the silence.]

Zane: [casually] "Everything good, Rodrick?"

[Rodrick, still lost in his thoughts, nods without making eye contact.]

Rodrick: "Yeah, I'm good."

[Zane takes a chip from the bag and munches on it, looking thoughtful.]

Zane: "Wonder what the next challenge is gonna be. Chris always has something up his sleeve."

[Rodrick remains pensively silent, not offering any input. Zane notices the tension and decides to break it with a light-hearted comment.]

Zane: "Chips? Got these from the kitchen."

[He lifts the bag of chips slightly closer to Rodrick's face. Rodrick glances at the bag but then shakes his head.]

Rodrick: "I'm good."

[Zane shrugs, taking another chip and leaning back against the cabin wall.]

Zane: "Suit yourself."

CONFESSIONAL - RODRICK

[Rodrick sits in the confessional booth, his expression thoughtful and calculating.]

Rodrick: "Zane talks way too much. I can practically hear his gears turning as he pretends like he's actually invested in this alliance. He's trying too hard, but I know what he's after – safety in numbers. Can't blame the guy for that, I guess. After all, I'm not the most approachable person. But while he's busy making small talk and trying to bond, I'm coming up with a plan."

[Rodrick smirks, feeling a sense of power.]

Rodrick: "Derek was right. I need to start playing this game if I want to make my mom proud and secure that million dollars. And now that he's gone, that's one less vote against me. It's all about survival, and sometimes, survival means getting your hands dirty."

[He smirks again before the confessional ends.

[The scene transitions to Chris arriving at the campsite on an ATV motorcycle, holding his trademark loudspeaker. He revs the engine and grabs the loudspeaker, its volume unmistakably loud.]

Chris: [through the loudspeaker] "Hey, campers! Rise and shine, or at least get off your bunks! Time to face the day!"

[Rodrick and Zane, who are standing outside, wince and cover their ears as Chris's voice booms through the loudspeaker. Slowly, one by one, the rest of the contestants emerge from their cabins, groggily making their way to the campsite. They form a semi-circle, each team standing together, as Chris takes the spotlight.]

Chris: [smirking] "Good to see you all finally woke up. Now, gather 'round, because it's time for today's challenge!"

[Blaise, clearly not impressed by the timing of the challenge, raises his hand in an assertive manner.]

Blaise: "Wait a minute! What's the deal, Chris? We haven't even had breakfast yet! I need my morning protein boost!"

CONFESSIONAL - BLAISE

[Cut to a confessional booth, where Blaise looks annoyed as he pulls out a nearly empty protein shake.]

Blaise: "Seriously, my muscle shakes are running low. I needed some good ol' protein chow."

[He shakes his head, clearly frustrated with the lack of food protein available.]

[Chris smirks, holding the loudspeaker.]

Chris: "Relax. Breakfast can wait. This challenge is more important."

[Blaise starts to protest further, but Chris interrupts him with a grin.]

Chris: "And before you say anything else, no need to worry about being well-fed for this one. Today's challenge isn't about physical effort."

[Blaise crosses his arms, looking skeptical.]

Blaise: "Oh, really? And what kind of challenge requires an empty stomach?"

[Chris smirks mischievously.]

Chris: "Today's challenge is a battle of brains. We're diving into trivia!"

[The contestants exchange intrigued glances, with some looking more confident than others.]

Chris: "Yep, you heard me right. You're going to be answering a series of trivia questions, and your team's knowledge will be put to the test."

Emilia: [confident] "Well, that's one area where I'm pretty solid at. Bring on the trivia!"

[Jackie adds, relieved.]

Jackie: "Finally, a break from all those intense and dangerous challenges."

[Chris grins mischievously.]

Chris: "About that, we actually had a different challenge planned that was a bit more intense, but the producers demanded a safer one for today."

[Just then, Chef Hatchet enters the scene, carrying a couple of swords. He looks at Chris questioningly.]

Chef: "Yo, Chris! When do you need these?"

[Chris's expression changes to embarrassment.]

Chris: "Oh, uh, I don't actually need those anymore. Thanks, Chef."

[Chef raises an eyebrow but shrugs and heads off.]

Chef: "Whatever, man."

[Chris chuckles nervously, then clears his throat.]

Chris: "Anyway, yeah, I don't need those. So, no swords involved."

[Kathy looks relieved but still puzzled.]

Kathy: "Wait, were you planning to make us fight with those swords?"

[As Chris tries to cover up his intentions regarding the swords, he stammers nervously.]

Chris: "Oh, no, of course not! I mean, why would... swords? Nah, it's a trivia challenge..."

[Before Chris can continue, Ramiro interjects with his usual sarcastic wit.]

Ramiro: "Come on, Kathy, what's the problem? Can't you picture it? A medieval-style sword fight, just for fun. You know, slayin' dragons and stuff. Easy peasy."

[Ramiro winks at Kathy with a sly grin, fully aware that he's playing up the absurdity of the situation.]

Kathy: [rolling her eyes] "Right, Ramiro. I'm sure that's exactly what Chris had in mind."

CONFESSIONAL - RAMIRO

[The scene transitions to the confessional, where Ramiro is holding a sword, clearly enjoying the moment.]

Ramiro: [grinning, holding the sword confidently] "Check it out, guys. Can you see this? Me, in a samurai challenge, totally owning the battlefield. It's all about precision, focus, and my undeniable awesomeness."

[He gives the sword a few well-practiced swings, clearly relishing the imaginary challenge. However, his triumphant demeanor takes an unexpected turn as he loses his footing and slips, his confident expression quickly shifting to one of surprise.]

Ramiro: [laughing sheepishly, sitting on the toilet seat with his feet in the air] "Uh, yeah, maybe not so much with the bathroom acrobatics."

[The camera captures the comical moment as Ramiro's sword lands on the ground, and he finds himself in an undignified position, a mixture of embarrassment and laughter in his eyes.]

[The group chuckles at Ramiro's antics as Chris regains his composure.]

Chris: "Well, as entertaining as that sounds, I assure you, it's just a trivia challenge today. No dragons, no swords."

[The contestants share amused looks, knowing that Chris's challenges are never quite as straightforward as they seem.]

[The scene continues as the contestants chuckle at the banter between Ramiro and Kathy. Just then, Chris's phone starts ringing loudly. He glances at it, clearly caught off guard. He answers, and the voice on the other end is audibly angry, but their words remain unintelligible to everyone else.]

Chris: [nervously] "Uh, yeah, hold on a sec."

[As Chris listens to the furious voice on the phone, his expression shifts from surprise to a mix of resignation and frustration.]

Chris: "Alright, alright, I got it. Yeah, yeah, I've already changed the plan too. It'll be a trivia challenge. Alright, later."

[He hangs up the phone, letting out a heavy sigh. The campers exchange curious glances.]

Carlos: [whispering to Bri] "Wonder what that was about."

[Bri shrugs in response.]

[Chris takes a deep breath and addresses the group once again, his tone a mix of irritation and resignation.]

Chris: "Alright, everyone. Apart from the trivia challenge I've already informed you about, there's one more change. There will be no elimination today."

[A collective sigh of relief sweeps through the contestants, and a few exchanged smiles and nods.]

Chris: [sarcastically] "Congratulations, campers. You managed to avoid the chopping block for a day. Don't get too comfortable though, because, you know, this is Total Drama, and we're being broadcasted all over the world."

[The contestants chuckle nervously, well aware of the global audience watching their every move.]

Chris: "So, good luck in the trivia challenge, and just try not to make complete fools of yourselves. We all know how much the viewers love a good laugh."

[With that, Chris smirks, clearly enjoying the discomfort he's causing, and the contestants brace themselves for the upcoming challenge, knowing that even without eliminations, their performance will be under the scrutiny of fans worldwide.]

[Pointing towards the forest, Chris gestures for them to start moving.]

Chris: "Alright, head on over to the forest. The amphitheater's where the challenge is goin' down. Don't keep me waiting!"

[With that, Chris revs his ATV engine and drives off, leaving a trail of dust behind him as he heads toward the amphitheater to get everything set up.]

[The contestants start heading towards the forest for the challenge, the atmosphere buzzing with anticipation. Meanwhile, a little further behind, Zane and Emilia are walking together. Emilia turns to Zane with a curious expression..]

Emilia: "Hey, Zane, can I ask you something?"

[Zane glances at her, his expression neutral.]

Zane: "Shoot."

[Emilia's tone is a mix of curiosity and a hint of annoyance.]

Emilia: "Why did you ask me to vote for Derek last time?"

[Zane's gaze flickers towards Rodrick, subtly indicating the situation.]

Zane: "I owed someone a favor. Let's just say it was a... mutual arrangement."

[Emilia's frustration is evident as she questions Zane.]

Emilia: "Seriously? You struck a mutual arrangement with him?"

[Zane offers a calm and reassuring smile.]

Zane: "Hey, it's not as strange as it sounds. You know how things can get complicated in this game."

[Emilia's brow furrows, her annoyance not fully subsiding.]

Emilia: "I get it, but... Rodrick? He's, well, he's a jerk. I just don't understand why you'd owe him a favor."

[Zane's expression becomes a tad more serious as he addresses Emilia's concerns.]

Zane: "I know he's not exactly the friendliest guy, but sometimes alliances and arrangements in this game aren't about friendship. It's about strategy and survival."

[Emilia sighs, still not completely satisfied but starting to grasp the bigger picture.]

CONFESSIONAL - EMILIA

[In the midst of the unfolding drama, Emilia finds herself deep in thought, her analytical mind working overtime.]

Emilia: "The probability of Rodrick and Zane forming an alliance is statistically improbable. The dynamics don't align. I just can't comprehend Zane's strategy here."

[Her confusion is evident as she contemplates the situation, her frustration growing as the pieces of the puzzle seem to elude her.]

CONFESSIONAL - ZANE

[Zane sits in the confessional booth, his expression serious and contemplative.]

Zane: "Look, this game is tough, and surviving means making strategic moves. Rodrick might not be my ideal ally, but he came with a proposal that made sense at the time. He's a strong competitor, family feud aside. I'm not compromising my principles, but I need to secure some kind of position here. It's a balance between survival and sticking to my values."

[Transitioning to another part of the group, we find Leon and Dirk engaged in their usual lighthearted banter.]

Leon: [grinning] "So, Dirk, you ever wonder why they call it a 'building' when it's already built? Shouldn't it be called a 'built-ing'?"

[Dirk chuckles, playing along.]

Dirk: "Man, you've got way too much free time to think about this stuff. But now that you mention it, what about a 'drive-thru'? Shouldn't it be called a 'drive-past' since you're not really going through it?"

[Leon bursts into laughter, clearly entertained.]

Leon: "You know what's even weirder? Pineapple doesn't come from a pine tree, and it sure ain't an apple. What were they thinking?"

[Dirk throws his head back, laughing heartily.]

Dirk: "Oh, and don't even get me started on 'shipping' – sending something by truck or sending two fictional characters into a romantic relationship? The English language is wild, man."

[Leon wipes away a tear from his eye, still chuckling.]

Leon: "Totally, dude! And what's with a 'pair' of underwear? It's just one thing! Shouldn't they be called 'one of underwear'?"

[As Leon and Dirk continue their lively conversation, Leon chuckles mischievously.]

Leon: "Hey, speaking of underwear, Ramiro, are you still rockin' the same ones from days ago?"

[Ramiro rolls his eyes playfully.]

Ramiro: "Yeah, man. Turns out no one else wants to lend me their underwear. Can you believe it?"

[Leon raises an eyebrow, a hint of amusement in his expression.]

Leon: "Wouldn't that be gross anyway? Wearing someone else's underwear?"

[Before Ramiro can respond, Dirk jumps in with his usual carefree attitude.]

Dirk: "Aw, c'mon, Le, live a little! Ramiro's setting new trends here. 'Recycled fashion,' they'll call it."

[He gives Ramiro a dramatic thumbs-up and a high-five, the three of them sharing a good-natured laugh.]

[The scene transitions to the teams, who have taken their seats on separate benches, eagerly waiting for Chris to explain the challenge. Chris stands on a stage, drawing the contestants' attention.]

Chris: "Alright, campers, gather 'round! It's time to unveil the thrilling trivia challenge! Here's how it's gonna work. We've got this super high-tech, totally not rigged, spinning wheel of categories."

[Chris gestures dramatically to the wheel adorned with various categories: Geography, History, Pop Culture, This Season So Far, Other Total Drama Seasons, and more.]

Chris: "I'm gonna spin the wheel, and whatever category it lands on, that's the question you'll all get. First one to buzz in with the right answer gets a point for their team. Yeah, it's that simple. And no, I won't be giving you any lifelines or phone-a-friends. You're on your own, folks. And here's the kicker, if you dare to take a shot and get the answer wrong, well, let's just say your team is in for a not-so-pleasant surprise."

[Chris grins mischievously, adding an extra layer of suspense to the challenge, as the contestants exchange wary glances, fully aware of the stakes.]

Chris: "Now, without further ado, let's get this wheel spinning and see which category Lady Luck decides on first!"

[Chris dramatically gives the wheel a spin, the contestants watching with bated breath as it whirls around before finally landing on... History.]

Chris: "History it is! Get ready, campers. First question coming your way!"

[The contestants lean forward, anticipation in the air, as Chris prepares to fire off the first trivia question.]

[As the contestants lean forward in anticipation, Dirk leans over to Leon with a mischievous grin.]

Dirk: "You think they'll ask us about the history of bacon? 'Cause I've totally aced that one."

[Leon chuckles and gives Dirk a playful nudge.]

Leon: "Sorry, dude, I don't think bacon's on the list of historical events."

[Dirk mock-pouts, then winks.]

Dirk: "Well, there goes my shot at trivia stardom."

[The two friends share a laugh just as Chris begins to deliver the first history question, setting the tone for the challenge.]

Chris: "Alright, here we go! First history question, folks. Get ready to test those brain cells. And remember, speed is key in this challenge!"

[The contestants sit on the edges of their seats, their focus sharpening as Chris delivers the question.]

Chris: "In what year did the famous 'Battle of Hastings' take place?"

[The contestants exchange quick glances, some whispering to their teammates as they ponder the answer. The atmosphere is charged with a mix of excitement and tension as they contemplate the historical event.]

[The tension in the air is palpable as the contestants mull over the history question. Just as Chris finishes asking, two voices chime in almost simultaneously.]

Iris and Emilia: "That's easy!"

[The two girls lock eyes and exchange an annoyed glare, realizing they've spoken at the same time.]

Ramiro: [grinning] "Hey, Iris, you gotta say 'jinx' now."

Iris: [rolling her eyes] "Shut up, Ramiro."

[With a confident expression, Iris leans forward and speaks up.]

Iris: "The answer is October 14th, 1066."

[The contestants hold their breath for a moment as Chris grins and nods.]

Chris: "And just like that, we have a winner! Correct answer, Iris for the Hazardous Bears!"

[The Hazardous Bears cheer in triumph as the Swift Deers exchange disappointed glances. Chris marks a point for the Hazardous Bears, and the wheel of categories spins again, ready to challenge the contestants with another question.]

[With the excitement of the first question behind them, the wheel of categories spins once again, the contestants' anticipation growing as it comes to a stop on a new selection.]

Chris: "Alright, time to dive into another category! And the wheel has spoken. Looks like we're heading into the realm of... Pop Culture!"

[The contestants shift their focus, now preparing for a question from the world of pop culture.]

Chris: "Here's your second question, everyone. Get ready to tap into your knowledge of movies, music, and all things pop!"

[As Chris delivers the second question in the pop culture category, Iris mutters to herself confidently.]

Iris: "Easy peasy."

[The contestants listen attentively to the question, their minds racing to come up with the correct answer.]

Chris: "What iconic 1970s rock band released the album 'Hotel California'?"

[Before Iris can even open her mouth, Kathy's voice rings out confidently.]

Kathy: "The Eagles!"

[Chris grins and nods, acknowledging Kathy's quick response.]

Chris: "Correct! Kathy from the Swift Deers scores a point for her team!"

CONFESSIONAL - IRIS

[After Kathy's quick response, the camera cuts to Iris, who sits in the confession booth with an amused grin.]

Iris: "Oh, yeah. I forgot Kathy is a heavy rock fan. Looks like I've got some competition in that category."

[She chuckles softly, showing her good-natured sportsmanship.]

CONFESSIONAL - KATHY

[The scene transitions to Kathy in the confession booth. She stands there, wearing headphones and completely lost in the music. Unaware that she's being recorded, she passionately sings along to "Life in the Fast Lane" by the Eagles, her energy and enthusiasm palpable.]

Kathy: "Life in the fast lane, surely make you lose your mind..."

[She belts out the lyrics with a fervor, lost in the moment and thoroughly enjoying the music. The confession abruptly ends, capturing the genuine joy and carefree spirit of the moment.]

[The wheel of categories spins once again, and Chris eagerly watches as it comes to a stop, revealing the next challenge category.]

Chris: "Time to keep this trivia train rollin'! And the wheel has spoken once more. Looks like we're diving into... Geography!"

[As the wheel comes to a halt on the "Geography" category, Rodrick can be seen muttering to himself with a wry grin.]

Rodrick: "Another subject I failed in school, just like history. Would be a bummer if the next category ends up being math."

[His comment is accompanied by a slightly sarcastic chuckle, showing his lighthearted attitude towards the challenge.]

[With the geography category announced, Chris wastes no time and presents the next question to the contestants.]

Chris: "Alright, everyone, it's time to put your global knowledge to the test! Here's your geography question."

[The contestants' focus sharpens as they await the question, ready to demonstrate their expertise in the subject.]

Chris: "Get ready, campers! Here's your geography question: What is the capital city of Australia?"

[The contestants exchange glances, some whispering to their teammates as they contemplate the answer. The air is filled with a mix of determination and uncertainty as they ponder the geography question.]

[Rodrick's expression shows a hint of uncertainty as he mulls over his answer. Eventually, he speaks up.]

Rodrick: "Uh, I think it's Sydney."

[Chris's response is swift and definitive.]

Chris: "Wrong!"

[A chorus of chuckles erupts from the Hazardous Bears, clearly enjoying the moment.]

[Chris's tone takes a mischievous turn as he addresses the Swift Deers.]

Chris: "Rodrick, since you swung and missed on this one, Swift Deers, get ready for your punishment!"

[Jackie rolls her eyes with a theatrical sigh, her annoyance palpable.]

Jackie: "Oh, great job, Rodrick. Thanks a lot for that stellar contribution."

[Rodrick, undeterred by Jackie's sarcasm, meets her gaze with a seductive smile.]

Rodrick: "You're welcome."

[Jackie's discomfort is evident as she shifts in her spot, her tone slightly flustered.]

Jackie: "What's that? Could you stop looking at me like that?"

[The rest of the Swift Deers exchange exasperated looks, clearly not thrilled with the situation.]

[Just as tensions rise, Emilia interjects with her usual nerd-like wisdom, attempting to ease the atmosphere.]

Emilia: "Actually, Rodrick's answer isn't as off-base as it might seem. Sydney is the oldest and largest city in Australia, and it's a common misconception. But the capital city is actually Canberra."

[Rodrick quickly seizes the opportunity to cover for his seemingly misguided answer.]

Rodrick: "Yeah, exactly! That's what I was totally basing my response on. Spot on!"

[His tone is lighthearted, yet his expression betrays his relief at having a way to save face.]

Chris: "And the correct answer is indeed Canberra. But since Rodrick already gave an answer for the team, no second chances."

[The focus shifts to the other wheel standing nearby, catching the contestants' attention. Chris grins mischievously.]

Chris: "Ah, I've been waiting to spin this wheel the entire time."

[With a flourish, Chris gives the wheel a spin, and the anticipation builds as it slowly comes to a stop. Chris's grin widens.]

Chris: "And the punishment for the Swift Deers is..."

[He dramatically reads the punishment aloud.]

Chris: "Swim with sharks for 3 minutes!"

[Rodrick's eyes widen in shock and he turns to Chris, a mix of disbelief and anger on his face.]

Rodrick: "You did that on purpose, didn't you?!"

[Chris meets Rodrick's gaze with a sly smirk.]

Chris: "Yes, I did. But if you really think about it, it's quite appropriate. After all, you did put your team in this situation."

[Rodrick rolls his eyes, clearly not amused by the turn of events. The tension in the air is palpable as the Swift Deers come to terms with the risky and potentially painful punishment that lies ahead.]

[Emilia sits in her seat, her frustration evident as she realizes the consequence of her team's incorrect answer. She murmurs to herself, a hint of regret in her voice.]

Emilia: "If only I had answered that before Rodrick did..."

[As Emilia's frustration is evident, Zane notices her distress and leans closer, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder.]

Zane: "Hey, Emilia, don't be too hard on yourself. You provided valuable information. It's okay. That was on Rodrick."

[He smiles warmly, his words carrying a touch of understanding and comfort.]

Emilia: [looking at Zane with a mixture of gratitude and embarrassment] "Thanks, Zane. You always know how to put things into perspective."

[They share a brief but meaningful moment, their connection evident even in the midst of the challenge.]

CONFESSIONAL - EMILIA

[Emilia sits in the confessional booth, her expression contemplative as she reflects on her feelings.]

Emilia: "Zane has this uncanny ability to infuse clarity into my moments of doubt. His presence is like a salve for my intellectual overthinking. And if I were to perhaps apply some algorithms to my emotions, I might conclude that there's a notable affinity I possess for him. A kind of... romantic algorithm, if you will."

[She lets out a shy smile, her nerdy vocabulary taking a backseat to express her feelings in a more relatable way.]

[Emilia's confession ends, and the scene transitions seamlessly to the challenge site. The Swift Deers stand by a water tank, the surface rippling with anticipation. Emilia, Kathy, Zane, Leon, Dirk, Rodrick, and Jackie exchange nervous glances as they prepare to face their punishment.]

[The camera pans to the water tank, revealing a group of sharks swimming below the surface, their sleek forms cutting through the water with an air of quiet menace. The atmosphere is tense, the challenge taking a risky turn as the contestants mentally brace themselves.]

[Rodrick, despite his phobia of sharks, takes a deep breath and tries to put on a brave face. He exchanges a glance with Jackie, a mixture of determination and anxiety in their eyes.]

[As the countdown begins, the Swift Deers take a collective breath, steeling themselves for the upcoming challenge. The tension is palpable as the seconds tick away, each heartbeat amplifying the adrenaline coursing through their veins.]

[With a final nod from Chris, the Swift Deers take the plunge, entering the water tank as the sharks circle below. The camera captures their underwater struggles and the intense emotions etched on their faces, a true test of their courage and resolve.]

[The water tank environment is charged with tension as the Swift Deers bravely step into the water, the sharks circling ominously below. Suddenly, one of the sharks bursts out of the water in a spectacular leap, its powerful movement sending water droplets flying in all directions.]

[Leon, Dirk, and Rodrick react with pure instinct, their fear momentarily taking over as they clutch onto each other tightly and let out a collective scream. The three of them share a brief, panicked hug as the adrenaline surges through their veins.]

[In the midst of the heart-pounding chaos, Zane's quick thinking and knowledge kick into action. He recalls a technique he learned about in marine biology and marine animal behavior – tonic immobility. As one of the sharks prepares to launch towards Rodrick, Leon, and Dirk, Zane swiftly moves into action.]

[Zane extends his hand toward the approaching shark and uses a combination of body language and touch to induce a state of tonic immobility. The effect is immediate – the shark's movements slow down, and it remains in a trance-like state, frozen in place.]

[Kathy's eyes widen in admiration as she watches Zane's confident and skillful maneuver.]

Kathy: "Nice moves!"

[Emilia's analytical mind is at work too, and she seizes the opportunity to share some insights with her teammates.]

Emilia: "Remember, these types of animals are often attracted by fear-based movements. If we remain calm and minimize sudden actions, we can reduce the risk of attracting their attention."

[As the Swift Deers continue to navigate the tense waters, Chris shifts his attention to the Hazardous Bears, his signature mischievous grin in place.]

Chris: "Well, while the other team is... uh, dying, I mean, surviving, any takers on the question?"

[Iris, feeling confident, raises an eyebrow and smirks.]

Iris: "Oh, yeah, I almost forgot about the question."

[She delivers her response with a touch of playful sarcasm, clearly referencing the ongoing challenge. Then, she mimics Emilia's earlier explanation, making sure to put it in context.]

Iris: "See, Sydney is like, super old and big and stuff, but Canberra's the capital, for real."

[The Hazardous Bears burst into laughter at Iris's playful imitation, and even Chris chuckles at her light-hearted jab. However, Emilia, still submerged in the water tank, can't hear their banter and her frustration grows as she senses the mocking tone from Iris.]

CONFESSIONAL - EMILIA

[In the confessional booth, Emilia sits, her expression a mix of frustration and disappointment.]

Emilia: "It's exasperating when people effortlessly claim credit for my insights. It's like reliving the school days all over again. And I can already hear my parents' disapproval for letting this happen. The pressure they put on me is relentless..."

[She lets out a sigh, her emotions clearly showing her internal struggle with the situation.]

[As the Swift Deers brave the shark-filled waters, the scene transitions to a countdown timer on Chris's watch, signifying the duration of their challenge. The tension in the water tank remains palpable as the contestants stay vigilant.]

[Back at the challenge site, Chris's watch begins to ring, the signal that the Swift Deers' time in the shark tank has come to an end. Chris's voice booms over the loudspeaker.]

Chris: "Alright, Swift Deers, you've survived – I mean, completed – your punishment. You can get out now!"

[The Swift Deers waste no time, hastily climbing out of the water tank with a mixture of relief and exhaustion evident on their faces. As they gather on the platform, the adrenaline still coursing through their veins, the challenge site is once again filled with the sounds of the competition.]

[The tension and excitement continue to build as the wheel of categories spins once more, leading the contestants into another round of the unpredictable trivia challenge.]

Chris: "With the score standing at 2-1 in favor of the Hazardous Bears, let's spin this wheel and see where it takes us next!"

[The wheel of categories spins once again, its colorful segments blurring together before finally coming to rest on a new selection.]

Chris: "And here we go! The wheel has spoken once again, and our next category is... 'This Season'!"

[The contestants exchange intrigued glances, their anticipation growing as they prepare for a question about their own Total Drama experience.]

Chris: "Time to dive into the juicy details of this season, folks. Get ready for a question that'll put your memory to the test!"

[As the contestants brace themselves for the question, Chris delivers the next question with a mischievous grin.]

[The contestants lean forward, their brows furrowing as they focus intently on Chris, awaiting the next challenge.]

Chris: "Here's the question about this season: In the acting challenge, why was Heidi eliminated?"

[The contestants exchange glances, their minds working quickly to recall the events of the acting challenge and the reason behind Heidi's elimination. The air is charged with a mix of concentration and determination as they prepare to buzz in with their answers.]

[Iris, visibly uncomfortable due to her past conflicts with Heidi, hesitates for a moment. Blaise, ever the blunt one, jumps in with a smirk.]

Blaise: "Because she made us all suffer through that cringeworthy romance skit. It was a total disaster."

[Chris grins, nodding at Blaise's response.]

Chris: "Kinda right. Heidi's elimination was indeed tied to her poor performance as the leader of that challenge."

[Bri looks puzzled and turns to Chris.]

Bri: "Wait, kinda right? What does that mean?"

[Danielle simply whistles, her expression saying it all – a subtle reminder of her involvement in manipulating the events that led to Heidi's elimination.]

Chris: [chuckling] "Well, the point goes to the Hazardous Bears."

[Chris's tone turns slightly taunting as he addresses the Swift Deers.]

Chris: "Swift Deers, you might want to step up your game if you're planning to catch up. Remember, the first team to reach 10 points wins a sweet reward!"

[The challenge continues, the stakes higher than ever as the teams compete to prove their Total Drama knowledge and win that coveted reward.]

CONFESSIONAL - DANIELLE

[As the challenge unfolds and the tension rises, the camera shifts to Danielle sitting in the confessional booth. She wears a confident grin, her eyes glinting with determination.]

Danielle: "So far, I haven't managed to get any trump cards in my hands, except for that sweet Invincibility Statue. But that doesn't mean I'm giving up. Oh no, these losers better watch out in the coming days. I'm about to make my name known around here."

[She smirks arrogantly, her confidence radiating from her words. However, a hint of embarrassment flashes across her face as she realizes something.]

Danielle: "Well, not that my name isn't known already. I mean, hello, I'm Danielle Simmons."

[With a mischievous glint, she pulls out her phone and swiftly opens her Instagram account, showing off her impressive follower count.]

Danielle: "See? Thirty thousand followers right here. Now, where were we? Oh yeah, time to show these losers what I'm made of."

[She ends her confession with a confident wink, showcasing her determination to rise above the competition and leave her mark.]

[Danielle turns to her team members, Bri, Iris, Ramiro, and Blaise, a scheming glint in her eyes.]

Danielle: "You guys seem to have this challenge handled. I'll be back in a sec. Don't miss me too much."

[With an air of self-importance, Danielle saunters away, leaving her teammates to exchange puzzled glances and continue strategizing in her absence. As the challenge continues, the dynamics within the teams grow more complex, with both camaraderie and competition at play.]

[Bri watches as Danielle confidently walks away, a perplexed expression on her face.]

Bri: "What was that about?"

[Ramiro, always quick with a witty remark, can't resist chiming in.]

Ramiro: "Guess she's off to find a mirror to admire herself in."

[His playful jab earns a chuckle from Iris, a smirk from Blaise, and a knowing grin from Bri, lightening the tension and injecting a bit of humor into the situation.]

[Meanwhile, in the Swift Deers' girls' cabin, Danielle sneaks in with a mischievous glint in her eyes. She starts rummaging through the belongings, her search focused and determined. As she searches for Emilia's diary, she inadvertently creates a mess in her quest, unaware of the consequences her actions might bring.]

[Back in the main camp area, Chef is setting up a landline phone, his attention caught by the distant noise coming from the Swift Deers girls' cabin. He raises an eyebrow, his curiosity piqued, and decides to investigate the commotion.]

Chef: [grumbling to himself] "What in the world is going on over there?"

[With a mix of suspicion and annoyance, Chef heads towards the girls' cabin to find out the source of the disturbance, unaware of the unfolding situation inside.]

[Inside the Swift Deers' girls' cabin, Danielle's determination to find Emilia's diary leads her to create a mess, but her search proves futile as she comes up empty-handed. Just as her frustration grows, the unexpected appearance of Chef Hatchet catches her off guard.]

Chef: [raising an eyebrow] "Shouldn't you be at the challenge?"

Danielle: [quickly thinking on her feet] "Oh, hey, Chef! Yeah, I should, but I'm... um, looking for something important here."

Chef: [crossing his arms] "Looking for what exactly?"

[Danielle abandons her facade and admits the truth.]

Danielle: "I'm trying to find Emilia's diary."

[As the realization sinks in, a mischievous smirk spreads across Danielle's face. She sees an opportunity and decides to play her cards.]

Danielle: [leaning in with faux innocence] "You know, Chef, I could be generous. I've got quite the following on social media, and I could share some of my profits with you if you help me out. All you need to do is show me the camera recordings."

Chef: [unmoved] "Nice try, kid. I've already given you a new phone, and I haven't seen any photos with me on your accounts."

[Danielle refuses to back down, tapping into her manipulative and persuasive side. She quickly opens her social media app on her phone and shows Chef the astonishing figures.]

Danielle: [confidently] "Chef, take a look at this. I'm raking in some serious cash from my social media. A little cooperation could be mutually beneficial."

[Chef Hatchet eyes the numbers on her screen, his expression slowly changing from skepticism to consideration. After a moment of contemplation, he lets out a sigh.]

Chef: [relenting] "Alright, fine. But just a quick peek, got it? And if you cause any more trouble, you're in big trouble."

[With a triumphant smirk, Danielle senses victory in her grasp as Chef Hatchet's resistance begins to waver.]

Danielle: [maintaining her confident demeanor] "Great. Just a quick peek, Chef. You won't regret it."

[Chef Hatchet lets out another sigh, his stern facade momentarily cracked. He agrees to her terms, albeit reluctantly.]

Chef: "Alright, fine. But remember, you owe me."

[Danielle's grin widens as Chef starts going through the camera recordings. Her manipulative tactics have worked once again, and she's about to uncover the secrets she's been after.]

CONFESSIONAL - CHEF

[In a private confessional, Chef Hatchet leans forward, his expression a mixture of frustration and bemusement.]

Chef: "There's something seriously off about that kid. I've been around enough troublemakers to know when someone's playing a game. And let me tell you, that girl's playing one hell of a game."

[Chef's perplexed look tells a story of growing suspicion and concern, as he contemplates the enigma that is Danielle.]

[As the challenge continues, Chris takes center stage once more, addressing the contestants and the growing tension.]

Chris: "And the score is now 4-2 for the Hazardous Bears! Looks like they're pulling ahead. Remember, first team to reach 10 points takes home the sweet reward!"

[Iris takes a moment to observe the challenge site and her surroundings. She turns to her teammates with a concerned expression.]

Iris: "Hey, guys, has anyone seen Danielle? She's been missing for a while now."

[Carlos chuckles and teases.]

Carlos: "Well, Iris, you'd know, being a girl and all. They do spend ages in front of mirrors."

[Bri's eyes widen slightly in surprise at Carlos's joke, while Iris appears a bit annoyed by his comment.]

Bri: [raising an eyebrow] "Carlos, seriously?"

[Amused by his own joke, Carlos smirks and exchanges a celebratory high-five with Ramiro.]

Ramiro: [impressed] "Nice one, man. You're learning from me."

[Carlos and Ramiro share a moment of camaraderie, their banter lightening the mood amidst the competition.]

CONFESSIONAL - RAMIRO AND CARLOS

[The camera transitions to a joint confessional booth, where Ramiro and Carlos are seen sitting side by side, both of them still laughing.]

Carlos: [chuckles] "I gotta admit, Ramiro's one hell of a teacher in the art of humor."

[Ramiro nods with an exaggerated proud expression.]

Ramiro: "Thank you, thank you. I know, it's a gift."

[Carlos playfully bows with a big grin.]

Carlos: "Sensei."

[Their laughter echoes in the confessional as they share this light-hearted moment.]

[Amidst the lighthearted banter, Chris seizes the moment to spin the wheel once again, the excitement in the air palpable as the contestants eagerly await the next question.]

Chris: "Alright, let's keep this party going! And the wheel lands on... Movies!"

[The contestants exchange glances, their competitive spirits reignited as they gear up for the next challenge.]

Chris: "Get ready, teams! Here's your movie question: Which film holds the record for the highest-grossing box office of all time?"

[The Swift Deers and Hazardous Bears exchange quick whispers, their faces a mix of determination and uncertainty as they contemplate the movie question. The pressure is on as they strive to demonstrate their knowledge and earn crucial points for their respective teams.]

[As the question hangs in the air, it's Leon who confidently raises his hand and speaks up.]

Leon: "Easy one. It's Avatar, with almost 3 billion."

[Chris's response is swift and affirmative.]

Chris: "Correct! Team Swift Deers earns another point!"

[Leon smirks, a sense of accomplishment in his eyes.]

Leon: "Told you that was easy. Used to watch that movie all the time. It was my favorite when I was a younger."

[Dirk, never one to hold back, interjects with his own opinion.]

Dirk: "Avatar 2 is way superior, though."

[Leon raises an eyebrow, incredulous.]

Leon: "You're crazy, man."

[With a grin, Leon decides to share a little secret.]

Leon: "Hey, remember the first time we watched Avatar, Dirk? You were crying like a baby."

[The group erupts into laughter, and Kathy playfully adds to the conversation.]

Kathy: "Hold on, you cried during Avatar?"

[Dirk, undeterred, stands by his opinion.]

Dirk: "My point still stands."

[Leon, unable to resist, calls him out again.]

Leon: "You're mental."

[Zane, ever the peacemaker, steps in.]

Zane: "Well, let me break this tie. For me, Avatar 1 takes the lead."

[Leon's triumphant grin returns as he points at Dirk.]

Leon: "In your face!"

[Zane adds a diplomatic touch.]

Zane: "But, you know, opinions are subjective."

[The friendly banter continues, the team bonding over their differing opinions on the movies.]

[As the playful banter continues, Chris seizes the moment to spin the wheel once again, the anticipation in the air growing as the contestants prepare for the next challenge.]

Chris: "Alright, let's keep this game rolling! And the wheel lands on... Math!"

[The contestants exchange quick glances, their expressions shifting as they mentally gear up for the upcoming math question.]

Chris: "Get those brains in gear! Here's your math question: What is the square root of 144?"

[The Swift Deers and Hazardous Bears exchange swift glances, their competitive spirits ignited as they mentally calculate the answer. The tension is palpable as they strive to prove their mathematical prowess and earn vital points for their respective teams.]

[Without missing a beat, Emilia's confident voice cuts through the tension.]

Emilia: "Pfft, it's 12. Elementary."

[Chris's grin widens as he confirms her answer.]

Chris: "And that's correct, Emilia!"

[Ramiro, ever quick with a joke, chimes in.]

Ramiro: "That's child's play. I mean, even an 8th grader could answer that."

[Bri, with an arched eyebrow, turns to Ramiro and raises an incredulous question.]

Bri: "8th grade? When did you start learning about square roots?"

[Her tone is laced with playful skepticism, leaving Ramiro momentarily lost for words.]

Chris: "With that, the score is now tied up 4-4! Time to spin the wheel once again and see what category comes up next."

[The wheel spins and lands on the culinary category, and Chris looks around with a playful smirk.]

Chris: "Culinary, huh? Where's Chef when you need him? He was supposed to read these questions. Guess he's off doing... chef things."

[Ramiro seizes the opportunity to inject some humor.]

Ramiro: "Or maybe he's admiring himself in the mirror too."

[Carlos jumps in with his own joke, grinning.]

Carlos: "Yeah, maybe he would, if he had some makeup on."

[Continuing the jest, Ramiro responds.]

Ramiro: "True, not much to look at without it."

[Ramiro and Carlos share a celebratory high-five, their chemistry causing some mild annoyance among their teammates.]

[Meanwhile, Danielle and Chef are huddled in a tent. Danielle is seated on a chair, focused on the screens displaying the footage from various cameras around the island. Chef stands, clearly ready to depart.]

Chef: "Alright, you're all set up here. I've got to get back to the challenge area. Make it quick."

[Danielle nods, her eyes fixed on the screens as she begins her task.]

[Danielle leans closer to the screens, her eyes scanning the footage from various angles. As she searches, a triumphant grin forms on her lips.]

Danielle: "Let's see what we have here..."

[After some careful examination, Danielle's focus narrows on a particular clip. She watches intently as the footage reveals Emilia hiding something in a rather clever and concealed location.]

Danielle: [murmuring to herself] "Bingo."

[However, her triumphant moment is interrupted when her fingers accidentally press a button, causing an unexpected clip to play. It's Iris's confession where she expresses her doubts about Danielle's intentions.]

[Iris's voice echoes in the tent as Danielle watches, her expression changing from triumph to a mix of amusement and acknowledgment.]

Danielle: "Well, well, Little Iris is getting suspicious, huh?"

[Danielle lets out a chuckle, clearly amused by the nickname Rodrick gave Iris.]

Danielle: "Props to Rodrick for the nickname."

[As she continues to watch the footage, Danielle's expression becomes more thoughtful. She speaks to herself in a hushed voice, her mind at work.]

Danielle: "I've got to regain Iris's trust. Can't risk having her and Bri vote against me. And if they manage to sway Blaise too... that could spell trouble."

[She leans back in her chair, her eyes narrowing with determination.]

CONFESSIONAL - DANIELLE

[The camera transitions to a private moment with Danielle, her expression calculated and focused.]

Danielle: "I've manipulated Iris once before, and I know I can do it again. Time to rebuild that trust before it slips away completely."

[With a determined glint in her eyes, Danielle's succinct statement reveals her strategic mindset and her intent to regain control of the situation with Iris.]

[In this succinct yet complex confession, Danielle reveals her strategic mindset, focusing on regaining control over the alliances within the group.]

[As Danielle continues her investigation, she navigates through the various confessionals on the screen. Her focus intensifies when she stumbles upon Zane's confessional, where he reveals a hidden part of his past.]

[Danielle's eyes narrow as she listens to Zane's confession, realizing the potential significance of this information.]

[With a thoughtful expression, Danielle murmurs to herself.]

Danielle: "This could come in handy later."

[Without wasting any time, Danielle pulls out her phone and begins to download the confessionals onto it, her mind already calculating potential uses for this information in the future.]

[As Danielle continues to gather valuable information, her focus unwavering, the scene transitions to the amphitheater where Chef finally arrives after his absence. Chris wastes no time in addressing his tardiness.]

Chris: "Well, well, well, if it isn't Chef! Where the hell have you been?"

[Chef smirks, unfazed.]

Chef: "I was cooking up something delicious, that's where."

[Chris rolls his eyes but quickly moves on.]

Chris: "Alright, everyone, gather 'round! The current score is 9-8 in favor of the Swift Deers. But, hey, I held off on this culinary question just for your dramatic entrance, Chef."

[Chef chuckles and walks over to Chris.]

Chef: "Alright, let's see what you got."

[Chris presents the question to Chef, who reads it aloud.]

Chef: "Alright. Here's the culinary question: What key ingredient is used to make the spicy condiment kimchi?"

[Before Chef can finish reading the question, Emilia starts to quietly murmur the answer, but Bri is quick to anticipate her.]

Bri: "Cabbage!"

[Chef raises an eyebrow, a hint of a smile forming.]

Chef: "She's right. The right answer is cabbage."

[The contestants let out a mixture of groans and cheers as the score inches to a tie.]

[With the culinary question answered correctly, the contestants react with a mix of groans and cheers, the score now tied.]

Chris: "Tie game, campers! It's 9-9, and the tension is heating up in more ways than one!"

[As the excitement lingers, Bri seizes the moment to share a personal connection to the question.]

Bri: "You know, spicy food has always been my brother's favorite. We used to have kimchi all the time. It was the perfect option for me as a vegetarian back then. We'd enjoy it together for many meals."

[Her voice carries a hint of nostalgia and warmth, a window into her personal history.]

Bri: "But, well, I've since embraced veganism, so I can't indulge in it like I used to."

[Her words offer a glimpse into her journey and values, adding a deeper layer to the culinary challenge.]

[Ramiro playfully interjects with a mischievous grin.]

Ramiro: "That's too bad... for you! I'll still enjoy it."

[Bri rolls her eyes, not missing a beat.]

Bri: "You do that."

[Meanwhile, as the challenge continues, Danielle returns to the scene, exchanging glances with Chef. She nods lightly at Chef, indicating that she has successfully obtained the information she was seeking.]

CONFESSIONAL - DANIELLE

[As the challenge and banter continue, Danielle heads to the confessional booth, clutching Emilia's diary in her hands. She sits down, a triumphant smile playing on her lips.]

Danielle: "Ha! Look what I've got. At last. Now, let's see what she's been writing here. Let's delve into the most recent pages."

[With a smirk, Danielle begins to read Emilia's words aloud, her tone distinct as she interprets the text.]

Danielle: "This experience so far has been less than ideal. The food is abhorrent, the challenges are grueling and questionable, and don't even get me started on Chris and his antics. Chef's no better, and the rest of the competitors? Well, let's just say they're all equally exasperating. Except for... someone. Zane. There's something different about him. It's hard to explain, but being around him... it's just not the same."

[Danielle leans back in her seat, a satisfied glint in her eyes.]

Danielle: "Well, well, well, Emilia. Looks like you've been holding onto some interesting thoughts."

[With the challenge and personal moments unfolding, Chris seizes the opportunity to keep the excitement going. He spins the wheel once more, the contestants' anticipation palpable, until it lands on another category.]

Chris: "Alright, campers, let's keep this rollercoaster ride going! And the wheel lands on... History!"

[The contestants exchange curious glances, their focus shifting to the new category.]

Chris: "And here's your history question: In what year did Canada declare its independence?"

[The atmosphere is charged with anticipation as the contestants rack their brains to recall this historical detail, aiming to secure the final point for their teams.]

[With the stage set for the final question, Emilia's analytical mind kicks into high gear, ready to tackle the history question with precision.]

Emilia: "Canada declared its full independence and adopted its own constitution in 1982. It was then that a bill was passed to rename Dominion Day as Canada Day, marking a significant step in their autonomy."

[As Emilia shares her well-researched response, a sense of determination shines through her words. However, Iris, sensing an opening, starts to chime in with the answer. Yet, Emilia isn't one to be caught off guard.]

Iris: "So, basically, the year is—"

Emilia: "1982."

[Iris's attempt to steal the spotlight is thwarted by Emilia's swift response, leaving no room for doubt.]

Chris: "It seems like we've got a winner! Swift Deers take it with the correct answer! The final score is 10-9!"

[The Swift Deers erupt into cheers, celebrating their hard-fought victory as the Hazardous Bears regroup, acknowledging the close call.]

[With the challenge concluded, the atmosphere remains charged with excitement and competition, setting the stage for the next phase of the competition.]

CONFESSIONAL - EMILIA

[Amidst the jubilant celebration of the Swift Deers' victory, the scene transitions to Emilia sitting down in the confessional booth, her expression a mix of relief and satisfaction.]

Emilia: "Phew. That one was close. Knowledge can be both a gift and a curse, huh?"

[She wipes away a nonexistent bead of sweat from her forehead, her words reflecting the intense mental battle that just took place.]

[The confessional fades out, leaving a sense of introspection in its wake as the competition continues to unfold.]

[Zane's jubilant voice rings out as he rushes over to Emilia, lifting her in the air in a triumphant hug.]

Zane: "You did it! That's our brainiac!"

[Emilia's laughter fills the air as Zane sets her back down, his genuine pride shining through.]

[Soon, the rest of the team gathers around, sharing in the victory and their teammate's success.]

Dirk: "Way to go, Ems!"

[Leon offers a hearty thumbs-up, his admiration clear.]

Leon: "You totally carried us on this one, Emilia."

[Rodrick chimes in with his signature smirk.]

Rodrick: "Yeah, not bad for a big nerd like you. I guess you're useful after all."

[Jackie can't help but roll her eyes at Rodrick's teasing, but it's clear there's more to their dynamic than meets the eye. She playfully slaps the back of Rodrick's head.]

Jackie: "Knock it off, Rodrick."

[Rodrick feigns offense, rubbing the back of his head, but then a rare genuine smile appears on his face.]

Rodrick: "Alright, alright. But seriously, nice job, Emilia."

[Their banter, a blend of camaraderie and good-natured ribbing, captures the unique chemistry of their team, showcasing the tight bond that has formed amidst the competition.]

[Meanwhile, the Hazardous Bears are not in high spirits after another defeat. Bri takes a moment to address her team, trying to find a silver lining.]

Bri: "Hey, at least none of us is getting eliminated tonight, right?"

[Blaise lets out a frustrated sigh.]

Blaise: "Yeah, I guess you're right. But losing so much is driving me insane."

[Carlos adds his thoughts to the conversation.]

Carlos: "And even if we had to eliminate someone, I wouldn't know who to blame for all of this."

[Iris, who has been quietly observing, speaks up.]

Iris: "Well, I might have an idea."

[All eyes turn to Danielle, who is sitting there, seemingly absorbed in her phone.]

[In a tense moment, Danielle glances up from her phone, meeting the accusatory gazes of her teammates.]

Danielle: "What?"

[The room is charged with tension as Danielle's response hangs in the air, the frustration and suspicion of the Hazardous Bears palpable.]

Iris: "Danielle, where were you during the challenge? We could have used your help."

[Danielle, maintaining her nonchalant demeanor, raises an eyebrow.]

Danielle: "Oh, I was just taking care of my own thing. No big deal."

[The frustration in the room grows as the Hazardous Bears exchange incredulous glances.]

Blaise: "Seriously? While we were out there busting our butts?"

[Danielle shrugs, unfazed by their anger.]

Danielle: "Hey, it's a game, right? Everyone's gotta do what they gotta do."

[The tension in the air is palpable as Danielle's response leaves her teammates even more irritated, feeling betrayed by her lack of commitment to the team effort.]

[The tense atmosphere in the room eases slightly as Chris steps in to address both teams.]

Chris: "Alright, Deers and Bears, you've earned your break. Head over to the main lodge and grab your lunch. I'm sure you're all starving."

[Zane's curiosity gets the best of him as he raises a question.]

Zane: "Hey, what about that reward you mentioned earlier?"

[Chris chuckles, seemingly amused by their anticipation.]

Chris: "Ah, I see someone was paying attention. Well, I was half expecting you all to forget about it, but no such luck. Head over to the campgrounds then. You'll find a landline phone waiting for you. You can make a call to whoever you want."

[Danielle can't resist a mocking comment.]

Danielle: "Wow, what a big reward."

[Kathy's eyes light up at the prospect of making a call.]

Kathy: "You say that, but for those of us without a mobile phone, it's a pretty big deal. I can't wait to talk to my parents!"

[With the promise of a reward and a break, the tension begins to dissipate, and both teams make their way to the designated locations, each with their own plans for the phone call.]

[As the teams disperse to enjoy their lunch break and make use of the reward, the Swift Deers gather excitedly around the landline phone set up at the campgrounds. Zane takes the initiative to kick off the phone call opportunity.]

Zane: "Alright, who's up first? Kathy, you seem pretty eager. How about you?"

[Kathy's face lights up with a hopeful smile.]

Kathy: "Oh, can I? Thanks, Zane!"

[The rest of the Swift Deers nod and gesture their agreement, allowing Kathy to take the first turn. She steps up to the phone with a mix of excitement and anticipation, ready to reconnect with her loved ones.]

[Kathy eagerly dials a number on the landline phone, her heart racing with excitement. On the other end of the line, her father's voice comes through.]

Kathy's Father: "Hello?"

[Kathy's face lights up with a radiant smile.]

Kathy: "Dad, it's me. How's everything over there?"

[Kathy's father's warm tone carries a mix of surprise and happiness.]

Kathy's Father: "Kathy! Oh, it's so good to hear from you. Everything's been pretty good, actually. You know, your mother finally got a better job. She'll be starting it once this summer is over. And you? How are you holding up?"

[Kathy's excitement bubbles over as she shares her recent triumph.]

Kathy: "That's great news, Dad. As for me, I'm doing just fine. In fact, my team won today's challenge, and that's why I'm able to contact you."

[Kathy's father's pride is palpable in his response.]

Kathy's Father: "I'm really proud of you, Kathy. It sounds like you're making the most out of this experience. Your mother and I are following your progress every step of the way."

[The conversation takes a more relaxed turn as they chat about family matters.]

Kathy's Father: "By the way, we've talked to your uncles, and we're planning a big barbecue once you're back. You know how crazy it gets when the whole family gets together."

[Kathy's eyes light up at the idea.]

Kathy: "That sounds amazing! I miss their craziness. Can't wait for that."

[The conversation continues, filled with laughter, updates, and promises to catch up more in the future. Eventually, Kathy reluctantly realizes that her time is running out.]

Kathy: "Well, Dad, I wish I could talk longer, but I have to let others have their turn too."

[Kathy's father's voice is tinged with a hint of reluctance.]

Kathy's Father: "Of course, sweetheart. It's been great hearing from you. We're all looking forward to having you back home."

[Kathy's heart warms at his words.]

Kathy: "I can't wait either. Love you, Dad."

[Kathy's father's voice softens.]

Kathy's Father: "Love you too, Kathy. Take care, and keep giving it your all!"

[Kathy hangs up the phone, a mixture of emotions swirling within her. She's grateful for the connection and the reassurance from home.]

[Kathy steps away from the phone, allowing the next eager camper to take their turn. As the Swift Deers continue to enjoy their well-deserved moments of connection, Jackie steps up to the landline phone. Her fingers dial the familiar number, and after a few rings, her older sister Valentina answers.]

Valentina: "Yes?"

[Jackie's voice carries a mix of excitement and relief.]

Jackie: "Valentina? Where's Mom and Dad?"

[Valentina's warm tone carries a smile.]

Valentina: "They actually went to the beach for the day. Why, miss them already?"

[Jackie chuckles softly.]

Jackie: "Yeah, something like that. How's everything back home?"

[Valentina's concern is evident in her voice.]

Valentina: "It's been okay, Jackie. We've been keeping things together. But enough about us, how are you doing out there? Is it getting too stressful?"

[Jackie's confidence shines through as she responds.]

Jackie: "You know me, Val. There are a few people who can push my buttons, but nothing I can't handle. I'm holding up just fine."

[Valentina's laughter comes through the line.]

Valentina: "That's the spirit, sis. You've always been tough. Just remember, we're all cheering you on from here."

[Jackie's smile is evident in her voice.]

Jackie: "Thanks. It means a lot to hear that."

[Valentina's voice takes on a slightly more serious tone.]

Valentina: "Hey, before we continue, I just want to give you a heads up. Mom and Dad warned me to remind you about Rodrick. They've seen him on TV, and well, they're concerned. Just watch out for that boy, okay? I don't want you getting hurt."

[Jackie's smirk is audible in her voice.]

Jackie: "Val, you worry too much. Rodrick's got nothing on me. He won't break me. I'm tougher than that."

[Unbeknownst to Jackie, Rodrick has been eavesdropping on their conversation and decides to chime in with his signature confidence.]

Rodrick: [leaning against the landline phone] "Talking about me, babe?"

[Jackie rolls her eyes and addresses Rodrick directly, her grip on the phone tightening.]

Jackie: "Mind your own business, Rodrick."

[Valentina's laughter comes through the line.]

Valentina: "Alright, sis, I'll let you get back to whatever's happening there. It was great hearing from you. Love you."

[Jackie's tone softens as she replies.]

Jackie: "Love you too, Val. Take care."

[As she hangs up the phone, Jackie turns her attention to Rodrick, annoyance evident on her face. With a swift movement, she shoves him playfully, their playful banter continuing even off the phone.]

[Rodrick, sensing that the conversation has taken a more serious turn, turns his attention back to the landline phone, his usual swagger replaced by a somber demeanor.]

Rodrick: "Well, if you all don't mind now, I'll make my call."

[With a heavy heart, he dials the number, the anticipation weighing on him as the phone rings. His father's voice comes through on the other end, and Rodrick's curiosity about his father's location becomes evident.]

Rodrick's Father: Hi? Who's there?

Rodrick: "Dad? Why are you at Mom's place?"

[Rodrick's father's voice holds a note of sadness, and Rodrick's heart sinks.]

Rodrick's Father: "Son, there's something I need to tell you."

[Rodrick listens intently, his dread growing with each passing moment.]

Rodrick's Father: "I wanted to wait until the competition was over, so you could stay focused, but I can't keep this from you. Your mother... she passed away last night."

[Rodrick's world shatters in an instant. His denial is evident in his trembling voice and tearful plea.]

Rodrick: "No, you're lying! Tell me this is some sick joke of yours!"

[Rodrick's father's voice cracks with sorrow.]

Rodrick's Father: "I wish it were, son. I'm so sorry, Rodrick. I wish I could be there with you right now."

[As Rodrick's father's voice breaks, his own grief evident, Rodrick's defenses crumble. Everyone around him, including Jackie, Zane, Leon, Dirk, Kathy, and Emilia, watches with concern as Rodrick breaks down. He hangs up the phone, unable to bear the weight of the news any longer, and collapses to the floor in uncontrollable tears.]

[Jackie, her concern evident, leans down beside him, her usual tough exterior softened by the sight of his pain. In a rare display of vulnerability, Rodrick reaches out and clings to Jackie, seeking comfort and solace in her embrace. He sobs, his emotions too overwhelming to contain.]

[Jackie's confusion is evident, but she responds with compassion.]

Jackie: "Rodrick, what's wrong? What happened?"

[Rodrick's voice is choked with emotion as he finally manages to speak.]

Rodrick: "M-My mom... she's gone."

[Jackie's expression turns from confusion to shock.]

Jackie: "What?... Rodrick, I'm so sorry."

[The weight of the situation sinks in for the entire group. Leon and Dirk exchange a solemn glance, acknowledging the gravity of the news. Kathy looks down, her heart heavy with sympathy, while Zane and Emilia's faces reflect sadness.]

[Jackie gently puts an arm around Rodrick, supporting him as he struggles to gather himself.]

Jackie: "Come on, let's get you to the cabin. You need to take a moment and relax."

[With Jackie's help, Rodrick is led to the cabin as the rest of the group gives them space, the atmosphere heavy with empathy and concern.]

[Zane breaks the silence.]

Zane: "Alright, who wants to go next?"

[Leon raises his hand.]

Leon: "I'll go next."

[Dirk glances at Leon, his gaze filled with understanding.]

Dirk: "Who are you calling, man?"

[Leon's forced laughter doesn't hide the sadness in his eyes.]

Leon: "Definitely not my dad."

[Dirk places a comforting hand on Leon's shoulder.]

Dirk: "It's okay, Le. You don't have to put on a front. I know you miss him."

[Leon nods, his emotions raw, and the two friends share a moment of understanding before Leon takes his turn at the landline phone.]

[The scene transitions to the Swift Deers boys' cabin. Rodrick is lying down on his bed, his face etched with sadness, while Jackie sits beside him, offering her support. The usual tension between them seems to have melted away in the face of Rodrick's grief.]

Rodrick: [his voice quivering] "I only joined this stupid competition to win the money, you know? To help my mom... and now she's gone. It doesn't make any damn sense anymore."

[Jackie's expression is filled with empathy as she places a reassuring hand on his arm.]

Jackie: "Hey, Rodrick, you can still make her proud, wherever she is."

[Rodrick's eyes well up with tears, his emotions threatening to overwhelm him.]

Rodrick: "You don't get it, Jackie. No one here likes me. They all see me as some criminal, some troublemaker."

[Jackie's tone is gentle yet firm.]

Jackie: "I don't see you that way, Rodrick. I've seen a side of you that's more than just a rebel. You've got potential, and you can change people's perceptions. But first, you need to believe in yourself."

[Rodrick's gaze meets hers, and in that moment, the usual banter and animosity between them seem to vanish. There's a genuine connection, a shared understanding of each other's struggles.]

Rodrick: [his voice breaking] "I don't know what to do, Jackie. It hurts so damn much."

[Jackie's voice is soft, her own vulnerability showing through.]

Jackie: "I know it does. Losing someone you care about hurts more than words can say. But you don't have to go through this alone, Rodrick. I'm here with you."

[Rodrick's defenses crumble as he lets himself lean into Jackie's comforting presence. He buries his face in his hands, his tears finally falling freely.]

Rodrick: "I just miss her so damn much."

[Jackie's arm wraps around him, offering solace as they share a moment of genuine connection, their chemistry palpable in this vulnerable exchange.]

[The scene shifts to the Swift Deers around the landline phone. Leon has just finished his call, and now Dirk takes his turn, dialing a number. The ringing goes unanswered, and Dirk's expression falls, a mix of sadness and disappointment evident on his face.]

Leon: "No one picked up?"

Dirk: [sighs] "Yeah, no luck. I guess I should've seen that coming. They probably predicted it was me."

[Leon places a supportive hand on Dirk's shoulder, understanding passing between the two friends. The atmosphere is somber as they both decide to leave the area and head back to the main lodge.]

CONFESSIONAL - KATHY

[The camera cuts to Kathy, her expression contemplative, as she observes the unfolding events and the emotional connections between her teammates.]

Kathy: "First Rodrick, and now even these two goofballs are acting all somber. I truly am thankful for the family I have. It's a stark reminder of what really matters."

[The scene captures Kathy's introspective moment as she reflects on the bonds that tie them together, her gratitude for her own family coloring her perception of the situation.]

[Meanwhile, Zane looks to Emilia, a hint of uncertainty in his expression.]

Zane: "Emilia? You wanna go next?"

[Emilia's response is somewhat detached.]

Emilia: "I would prefer not. You can go, Zane."

[Zane nods, taking her words in stride.]

Zane: "If you insist."

[As Zane heads toward the phone, Kathy watches the interactions unfold, her compassionate gaze shifting between the members of the group, trying to understand the complexities beneath the surface.]

[Zane dials a number on the landline phone, his expression a mix of determination and anticipation. A deep voice answers on the other end.]

Man: "Who's this?"

[Zane's voice holds a mix of concern and urgency.]

Zane: "I should be the one asking that. Where's my mom?"

[The man on the other end seems to recognize Zane's connection.]

Man: "Ah, you must be Lisa's son. Well, she's asleep right now."

[Zane's frustration boils over as he demands answers.]

Zane: "But who the hell are you? What are you doing with my mom?"

[In the background, Emilia and Kathy exchange concerned glances, their attention fully on the unfolding conversation. The man's response is laced with hostility.]

Man: "Your mom's one hell of a slut."

[Before Zane can respond, the man hangs up, leaving Zane seething with anger and disbelief.]

[Zane's fists clench as he stares at the now silent phone, his emotions a whirlwind of rage and confusion.]

[Emilia and Kathy quickly approach Zane as he stares at the phone, his anger palpable. Emilia places a comforting hand on Zane's back, her concern evident.]

Emilia: "Zane, what happened?"

[Zane turns to face them, his expression a mix of frustration and embarrassment. His voice is tense as he responds.]

Zane: "I dialed the wrong number."

[Kathy's gaze is sympathetic as she speaks softly.]

Kathy: "Zane, are you sure you're okay?"

[Zane's frustration simmers as he clenches his jaw, his emotions on edge.]

Zane: "Yeah, I'm fine. I just need some space."

[With those words, Zane heads off toward the main lodge, leaving Emilia and Kathy exchanging concerned looks.]

Emilia: "This reward felt more like a punishment, didn't it?"

[Kathy nods in agreement.]

Kathy: "Did you see how everyone else was affected?"

Emilia: "Yeah, I have a feeling Chris planned it that way. That's why I didn't want to make that call."

[Kathy leans in, curiosity in her eyes.]

Kathy: "Complicated family?"

[Emilia's expression tightens, and she offers a vague response.]

Emilia: "Something like that."

[Feeling the need for solitude, Emilia makes her way to the cabin, seeking a moment alone to process the emotional rollercoaster the day has brought.]

[Emilia enters her cabin, seeking solace and a moment of peace after the emotionally charged day. However, as she steps inside, her eyes widen in shock and disbelief. Her part of the cabin is a complete mess—belongings strewn everywhere, her bed overturned. Frustration boils up within her, and she can't help but let out a frustrated scream.]

Emilia: "What the hell happened here?!"

[The scene then shifts to Chris, who watches the chaos unfold on the screens in his tent. A smirk tugs at his lips as he revels in the chaos that's unfolding.]

Chris: [chuckles] "Yep, Emilia isn't happy about that one."

[His laughter is tinged with a sense of mischief as he contemplates the next move to keep the drama alive.]

Chris: "And what more will these hopeless teenagers be unhappy about next? Tune in to find out on the next episode of Total... Drama... Wawanakwa!"

[With those words, the scene fades out, bringing the episode to a dramatic close.]

Hazardous Bears: Blaise, Carlos, Danielle, Iris, Ramiro, Bri

Swift Deers: Rodrick, Dirk, Leon, Emilia, Jackie, Kathy, Zane

Another non-elimination episode! I know these can be quite boring but I tried to develop some characters a lot this episode and keeping it interesting. Clearly, I didn't focus much on the challenge this episode as it wouldn't matter much besides setting Emilia to dominate it and give her some time to shine.

I am, honestly, proud of this episode. I wasn't so sure about it mid way through but then I took a break and I could look at it more lightly and have some good ideas for it. So, yeah, that's why I took a bit more to come out with this episode. I feel like a straight week schedule which I am trying to do is impossible.

I am not the type to write too many scripts beforehand so what I do write is straight into the episode so I really had to sit back for this one and think through. Probably, this end was a bit dramatic but I wanted something impactful and this served right for that purpose.

I was able to showcase a bit more of humanity into every character on the Swift Deers with this reward. I was able to show a bit of their background and besides that, obviously, I delivered the news that Rodrick's mom died in this episode, through this reward. Which, by the way, was gonna happen eventually to impact on Rodrick's story arc. I just didn't know how and when but I guess this works perfectly.

And, finally, Danielle got some trump cards! Chef's really a sellout lol. Now, let's see the damage she will be able to cause around the island.

Well, I think this is it for episode 9. I hope you've enjoyed it. If you did, please, don't forget to leave a review!
