Those instructions will prove useful. I thank you for taking the time to note them down in such detail.

I am ecstatic to announce that Bertholdt has agreed to let me carry out these new tests. I have told him that it was a suggestion from the volunteers, and that most of these were their idea to explain why I have the materials. So far, he has not been apprehensive about the idea that he may experience discomfort and pain.

In several hours, I will initiate the first blood draw. I will puncture his arm ten times to collect as much blood as I can. I will take blood each day, puncturing varying locations over the next week. My end goal for this stage is to draw blood from his carotid artery, a location with a sensitive history for Bertholdt. It should prove to be a fitting test to check if he is ready for organ samples.

Once he has recovered from the blood loss after today's sampling, he can forget about it for a while and focus on the planned celebrations. I must say, your associates have not revealed to me the contents of your handpicked gift. I am mighty curious to find out what you could have sent him. Perhaps I should have asked you what a true Liberio celebration looks like to make him feel more at home, but your associates have filled me in just fine with their own experience. I want him to feel welcome here and embraced by his regained peers.

Enclosed, you will find the reports of my previous tests, as well as today's. I was unable to copy them due to time constraints and send you the only transcripts I have. May I request you return them once you have finished reading through them?

I will keep you informed about how our frog in a pot plot plays out.

Respectfully
