Another one

Empty. That was what she was feeling as she knelt there the crumpled and broken form of her one joy in this hideous world in her arms. No anger, no sadness or pain. She felt nothing. Her bright star that shone brightly in this dark place was gone. She would never hear his beautiful tinkling laughter as he raced down the halls in only his boxers away from her. Never see his smile again. Never know what he'd grow up to be. She hated that she felt nothing for him, her adorable little boy that she would do anything for. Hated herself for not being there when he needed her the most. She hated that they were all gone before him, leaving her to mourn her little Teddy alone. Felt hate for the love the little boy took with him to the grave.

He was so small in her arms. He looked at peace with his eyes closed. The blood ruined that picture. She hated knowing that he died in pain, where she couldn't protect him. His last words broke her heart. No, they shattered it. His golden eyes staring into hers glassy with unshed tears. His voice barely above a whisper.

"Mummy... I love you... Mummy don't... worry about me... mum a-and da-ad... will... I love you, mummy... I'm... I'm noh scared..."She didn't scream or rage. She just clutched his small. Small. Tiny body to her chest and cried tears streaming silently down her face as she ricked back and forth with him held in her arms. His bright turquoise hair fading back to its natural brown. He closed his eyes and slowly breath out as she cried his tiny, tiny hand rested on her teary cheek.

That emptiness hurt more than any other pain she had ever had to live through. She would live a thousand pain-filled lives if she could see his smile one more time. And a thousand more to know he was okay again. Nothing mattered anymore. He was gone. And so was that little bit of hope she clung to.

They all left her. Her parents left her first. Then Cedric. Ripped away from life too early. Then Sirius was ripped from her. Tearing away her freedom. Then Professor Dumbledore. Taking away her revenge. Then the Weasley's and Hermione. Taking away her first real family. Hedwig was torn from the world far too soon. No longer were her white wings seen gliding through the night sky. No longer were the Weasley's making her smile. No longer was Snape antagonising her. No longer was Dumbledore there to keep her going forward. No longer did she have that freedom Sirius offered her. No longer was Andromeda there to correct her when she made a mistake with. Beautiful, sweet, brave little Teddy.

She had no one. She was truly alone. Voldemort took everything from her. Even from his grave he still ruined her life.

Her little starlight was gone. Her hope for a better future. Was lying breathless in her arms. Broken and unmoving. Battered and Bloody. If only she had been there. If only she had made it. If only she knew. If only.

The tears continued to fall. Landing on his pale smileless face. Her magic mourned with her. Leaking from her body. Tearing at everything it touched. Shredding her baby boys murderers lifeless bodies to unrecognisable bloodstains.

That emptiness was gone. She stood. Teddy clutched to her chest as the dam broke. Exploding out of her body in a hurricane of death and destruction. She Screamed. And cried. And raged. He was gone. Gone. He was dead.

Oh, how her life was a cruel game. The gods loved to play. She was done. He was dead. They were gone. Nothing was stopping her. He was gone. The only thing holding her together. Was. Dead. Teddy. Was. Dead. Her bright shining light in her tunnel of darkness. Had gone out.

Debris circled around them as her magic tore the world apart. Ripping it. Tearing it. Shredding it. Crushing it. Just as it had done to her by taking him away. Magma burst from the cracks in the Earth she created. Burning. And Melting everything it touched. Just like the gods did with her life. The animals cried out in agony as their feathers scales or fur burned from their bodies and melted with their flesh and bones. The trees burst into flames. The seas churned violently. Volcanoes erupted worldwide. People screamed and cried. But she was never going to stop.

He. Was. Gone.

The only light she cared about. Had gone out. And the gods would pay for taking him from her. The world would pay. It would end when she died.

He. Was. Dead.

The only star among the millions in the sky that she truly loved. Flickered out when he died. He was another one of the things that she could have just within her reach before it was cruelly taken away again.

Dead. Gone. Empty. Angry. Sad. Nothing.

Nothing left to live for. Teddy was dead. And so too was the last of Helena Lily-Jane Potter. With him went the world.

The light went out. And the Earth exploded with her grief. The so-called gods should have known better.

Empty. Void. Nothing.

Dead. Gone.

Well jeez... What a ride... hope you liked it...
