~A/N~

Hey folks! Had an idea for something and couldn't pass up the chance. This fic will be four or five chapters in length and won't feature much in the way of an overarching story. However, I still hope you enjoy! Thanks :)

Also, U.A University 'n all that.

Mina was bored. Worse, she was bored on a weekend. That meant that for the next fourteen or so waking hours she would continue to be bored unless she did something about it. Groaning, she sat up in her bed and watched Toru scroll through her phone, chuckling at something before sighing.

"You bored too?" Mina had a slight pout on her face as her legs swung over the side of the bed.

"Yeah... Any ideas?" Toru shoved her phone into her pocket and stood up, cocking her hip to one side.

Mina adopted a thinking pose before genius suddenly struck. "You know what? I think I do have one!" she grinned, dramatically marching forward. "Watch and learn, Toru. For the master is at work."

Mina laughed evilly as she spotted her target making a decidedly sweet-smelling treat. His adopted daughter was perched on his shoulders, transfixed by his impressive apple slicing technique. Perhaps not ideal, but for someone of her caliber, it would be child's play—pun intended. With a swagger in her step, Mina approached her target from the side, noting that he seemed to be oblivious to her presence so far. Ah, if only you could see the error in your ways, my dear Midoriya, Mina thought with delight.

Finally reaching her charge, she loosely hugged him from behind, making sure to press her boobs firmly against his back. She almost couldn't wait. First he would freeze up completely, then he would slowly turn towards her with a gaping mouth and eyes alight with horror, and finally turn beet red and jump in the opposite direction while screaming and stuttering his way through a question, completely and utterly dumbfounded. "Hey Midori, whatcha doin'~"

Except that wasn't at all what happened.

"Oh, hi Ashido." Izuku turned his head in her direction and smiled, totally at ease. "Eri and I are making an apple pie!" Eri hooted in excitement with arms thrown to the sky, laughing. He looked up at her with love in his gaze.

Mina's brain paused function, unable to accept this fabrication of reality. Where's the red face? The stuttering? The frozen broccoli? she thought, baffled by the turns of events. Fine then, you asked for it, Midori!

Letting her arms trail up and down his front, she asked, "Apple pie huh; will it be as sweet as you?" She whispered huskily. This time she felt him momentarily tense, and she counted that as an absolute win. Once again, he turned to her, although his time his cheeks were slightly colored. She smiled wide. He stared at her for a moment too long, and Mina felt her smile falter.

"You're really beautiful, you know that—" She flushed lilac and gawked at him, eyes wide. Her heart began hammering in her chest and a net full of butterflies was let loose in her stomach. "Eri?" he finished after a pause that was just long enough to make Mina think he was talking about her.

Eri leaned forward like a Monkey, dropping her head until it was upside down, parallel with Izuku's. "Aw, you think I'm beautiful, daddy?" she asked with childlike hope. Mina glimpsed Izuku's smug smile as he directed his attention at Eri.

"Of course I do. You're super beautiful!" He affirmed.

"Am I the most beautiful-ist girl in the world?" Eri tilted her head to the side, awaiting his response.

Izuku placed the knife and apple on the counter, then removed Eri from his shoulders and lowered her into an infant carry. "Hm, do you think you're the most beautiful girl in the world?" Mina was still reeling from Izuku's... teasing? Did he tease her? She didn't even realize that her hands were still wrapped around his waist.

"I don't know! there's a lot of girls in the world." Eri leaned her head back and locked eyes with Mina. "Wait, daddy, look at her!" She shouted while pointing at Mina. "What if she's the beautiful-ist girl in the world?"

Izuku adopted a look of playful shock. "What? Maybe you're right, Eri! Let me take a look." He plopped Eri on her feet and turned around, reaching his hand out to Mina's wide-eyed face. A single calloused finger traced her jawline, sending electricity racing down her spine. Next, a thumb joined it and another bolt of lightning surged in her brain. Mina couldn't move and her legs felt like jelly. He turned her face every which way, and a spike of arousal pricked at her loins as Izuku leaned in, his lips inches from her own. His breath was hot, and his gaze was fire.

Mina whimpered as he moved even closer, seemingly examining her features down to the nearest pore. His thumb slid across her cheek, then tugged at the edge of her lips. He was millimeters away from kissing her, and she wouldn't do a damn thing to stop him if he decided to. She subconsciously tightened her hold on him, her eyes now half-lidded. His off hand trailed from her collarbone to the contour of her breast, then raced down her side, causing a quiet moan to escape her throat, and finally settled at her hip. Just as it seemed he would let their lips touch, he suddenly pulled away, grinning. He slipped through her grip and Mina felt like she'd just lost the sun.

"You know, honey, I think you might be right! She really is beautiful, huh?" Izuku winked at Mina and picked Eri back up, returning her to his shoulders.

"Yeah..." Eri trailed off, noticing Mina still standing there, frozen in place. "Wow, she's even prettier when her face is all purple!" Eri gasped and grabbed Izuku by the cheeks, tilting his head up at her. "Can she be mommy?"

Mina sputtered, "I uh, um yeah, Toru me said go now?" With that, she fled the scene, raising the proverbial white flag. Did he even mean to do that? Mina wondered as she practically sprinted up the stairs. After a moment, she groaned. Of course he did! There's no way he pulls that suave shit out of nowhere! But why wasn't he flustered? I even did the boob press! Does he not think I'm attractive at all? She paused in her step as she nearly ran straight into a grinning Toru. But he called me beautiful, so he obviously does!

"How'd it go, oh 'master at work?'" The invisible girl burst out laughing as her purple counterpart buried her face in her hands. "I especially liked the part where you stood there and steamed like a lobster when he almost kissed you!" Toru kept giggling even as Mina swatted at her.

"Sh-shut up! There's no way that was Midori. He cheated!" Mina chased after Toru as she cackled, running across the hall.

"Whatever you say, Mrs. 'Toru me said go now~'"

Mina sighed in defeat and collapsed on the floor.

"Fine, I lost. But that doesn't mean it's over!" She placed her hand over her beating heart and marveled at its speed. Dammit, why did he have to go and say that stuff? Even if he didn't mean it—which, I mean, he had to! It's Midori, after all—it's making me feel all floaty and anxious and happy and—

She let out another sigh, this one long and drawn out. Am I really crushing on him just because he called me beautiful and touched me for a few seconds like some sappy, crappy drama? She groaned. Yes, yes I am. I mean, I could do worse. He's buff and cute and-whatever! Still...

Toru stepped back into view and reached her hand out. "It's not over?" she asked while helping Mina up.

"No," Mina promised, stomping her way back to her room to scheme. "Best two out of three."

Izuku chuckled as he saw Mina make a run for it. Taking the thick apple slices he'd cut, he spread them over the dough-lined pie pan.

"That was pretty good, daddy." Eri was, of course, speaking in reference to their combined performance in the presence of Ashido Mina.

He ruffled her hair and reached into the cupboard, knowing that one ingredient would take this dessert from 'great' to 'Inko' tier. "Yeah, at least I think so." Eri hummed in agreement.

"Do you think she loves you back now?" she asked, eyes trailing the bag now in Izuku's hand.

"No, probably not." He pulled the seal tab off and tossed it into the trash. "But maybe one day." He smiled lightly and hefted Eri with one arm, bringing her closer to the action. "There's no way I can do it without you, though." He pulled her closer and kissed her forehead, then began pouring the contents of the bag over the apples. "For some reason, when you're near me I'm able to keep calm. Wouldn't be surprised if my lovely little girl has a second quirk."

Eri leaned into Izuku's chest, humming softly and watching him finish up covering the top of mixture with dough. "What's that brown stuff you put on the apples?"

He popped the oven open and slid the pan onto the rack, then shut the oven door. Acknowledging her question, he grabbed the bag and presented it to her. "First came the apple. Second came the apple pie. Last came the apple pie with brown sugar on top."

Eri "awwed" and smiled contentedly. "What does brown sugar do to apple pie?"

Izuku washed his hands in the sink and began cleaning up the mess on the counter. "Well, remember when I told you about Mina?"

Eri nodded seriously. "You really, really love her."

He agreed, "Yep. Brown sugar is like Mina." Izuku grabbed a paper towel and began wiping the now empty countertop. "Without her, life is good. Great even. But with her? Well, for some reason everything is just so much better."
