Hi, everybody! A brand new fic. The new Sonic the Hedgehog films are my favorite! Hope you enjoy this. I don't own Toy Story. Disney does. I don't own Sonic the Hedgehog, SEGA does.

Sonic the Hedgehog, Tails, and Knuckles have joined the toy story gang!

But all is not safe in Andy's neighborhood. An embittered Prospector is on the path to revenge. He wants to punish Woody and his friends for stealing his future. Luckily for him, he runs into an evil doctor toy who is after a blue toy hedgehog. They make an alliance of anarchy and wicked intentions. They join up with a deranged witch doll.

Just so you know, I hardly ever played the Sonic games growing up, though I liked the character when we played Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and such.

Hope you all like this one!

"Aaahhhhh!" Potato Head wailed. It came so fast that there was no chance he could protect himself. BLOMP! It smacked him clear off his feet, and his pieces scattered all over the driveway. "Ugh! You have got to be kidding me!" He hollered. "I told you he shouldn't have been allowed to play!" He glared at Jessie.

"If you wished to avoid being struck down, then you should not have participated in this invigorating sport of dodging ball." Knuckles said casually.

"Give me a break." Potato Head's lips curled.

"He's right, Hot Potato." Jessie smirked. "And...that's game! Yeehaw! Good job, fellas!" She cheered, holding her hands up for her team of Sonic, Bullseye, Hamm, Barbie, and Knuckles.

"No fair. That shouldn't count." Tails moaned.

"We've been utterly defeated." Rex cried, hanging his head. Mitsy patted his shoulder.

"We tried, guys." She sighed. "There's just no getting around that red rover powerhouse."

"More like Clifford the big red wrecking ball." Potato Head snarled. "You've got the ability to elongate yourself." He groaned at Slinky. "We, you know, really could have used that!"

"Speak for yourself, Spudhead." Hamm chortled. "You got the biggest player on your side." He pointed at Rex.

"That's right, rub it in." Potato Head huffed, walking away.

"Ohh." Rex's face and shoulders drooped dejectedly.

"Aww, Rex. Don't listen to that old sorehead." Tails said cheerfully. "Say, you wanna join me in my lab?"

"Really? You're asking me?" Rex's eyes lit up.

"Sure. Come on! I want to show you something new I've been working on. But you have to promise to keep it a secret." Tails said seriously.

"I will!" Rex shivered with excitement.

"Okay then."

"Mind if I come along?" Slinky asked, wagging his tail.

"Well-" Tails hesitated, bit his lip. He didn't want word getting around of his latest project. Especially since he was going over time trying so hard to make it perfect. "Okay." Tails beckoned him.

"See ya later, guys." Mitsy smiled, waving at them. She ran to the other side to catch up with Jessie. The cowgirl wrapped her arm around the princess as they followed Sonic, Bullseye, Hamm, Barbie, and Knuckles inside the house. "What is that kid up to this time?"

"Oh, who knows?" Jessie shrugged. "But whatever it is, I'm sure he'll figure it out. He always does." Mitsy smiled as she noticed the tone of pride in Jessie's voice. "But he won't even tell me about what he's actually workin' on!"

Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails had been given to Andy a few years ago as birthday gifts when the newest Sonic the Hedgehog game had come out. The weird thing about Knuckles was that he was a plushie, but he'd been manufactured with heavy, plastic fists and boots. Tails was designed with a built in drone battery so that he could actually fly with his two tails! As for Sonic, well, being a toy, he did not have real super speed. But, if Andy pressed a finger to the hedgehog's chest, his blue fur would light up and glow. And there was a little switch in a box in his back under Velcro, which if turned on, he could zoom forward about 4 feet. But that was all.

At first, some of Andy's toys had been wary of the new celebrities, but soon, the humanoid animal toys had fit right in with Woody and the gang. Jessie absolutely adored them, and had especially claimed Tails for her own. Sonic admired Woody for his leadership and bravery. Knuckles found a partner in Buzz. So, basically, they were part of the family.

Tails looked up to Jessie as a mother figure, and he told her (with the exception of his best friend Sonic) all of his deep secrets and thoughts. With one big, very big exception: his tech and inventions. Yes, he was a toy, but Tails, like his video game counterpart, was fascinated by technology and had an unusual knack for it. He wanted to be an engineer, an inventor. It was his big dream. But being a toy, that dream looked as likely to happen as dogs driving cars in public.

"Wow! He doesn't?" Mitsy was taken aback.

"Nah." Jessie's brows furrowed. "It makes me very suspicious. Should I be worried?"

"I don't think so, Jess. Tails may be a kid, but he's very patient. And pushes the boundaries with those marbles in his head. I mean...no offense to my friend, but...can you see Sonic doing what that little fox does?"

"What?" Jessie gaped. "No way! Sonic would just rush and cause too many accidents in the lab!"

"Exactly."

"There you are, girls." Buzz greeted them on the front door step, Bullseye trotting at his side. "So, good game, huh?"

"You bet!" Jessie winked.

"So, uh...who won?"

"Really? Is that even a question?" Mitsy groaned.

"We gave them a real whoopin'!" Jessie declared. Buzz's face went pink as he smiled.

"That's my cowgirl." He said proudly.

"It would've been more fun if Woody had played with us." Mitsy said lowly. Buzz and Jessie's eager faces dropped.

"Yeah." Buzz agreed. Even though Woody had come back to his lead toy self, he was still depressed about losing Bo Peep two years ago when she was given away. His loneliness for her wasn't as rough as when it had first happened, but now he didn't participate in all the fun things he normally would have. He was trying to focus more on keeping his family together as much as he possibly could. A toy's fate was an uncertain thing, and Andy's never knew when one of them would be picked and taken away again.

"Ahem." Mitsy cleared her throat. "You missed Knuckles slam dunking Potato Head." She mentioned, trying to change the subject.

"Really?" Buzz snickered. "I bet he became a real hot potato."

Tuesday night, Andy was taking the trash bags outside to the bins so he could pull them to the end of the driveway for the next morning. He was startled by a noise outside the garage where the trash bins awaited him. "What was that?" He asked suspiciously. He picked up a stick from the lawn and approached cautiously. He peeked around the corner.

Raccoons were rummaging in the containers.

"Hey!" Andy hollered. "Go away! Get out of there, you thieves! Out!" He shook the stick at them. "Scram!" He demanded. The raccoons squeaked and fled under the privacy fence in the neighbors' yard. Andy groaned. "Oh, great." He gazed sourly at the garbage on the ground that the varmints had left him to clean up. "Thanks a lot, punks!" He called out at them. He stooped down and started picking it up.

Thursday Night

"Mom! The raccoons are back!" Andy called through the house as he entered, returning from soccer practice. He'd ridden with a friend.

"Again?" Mrs. Davis huffed, looking back at him from her computer. "They can't be! I disinfected that area so hard!" She stood up from her desk chair.

"Well, apparently, it's not repellent enough to them." Andy shrugged. "What now?"

"I'll call Animal Control in the morning." Mrs. Davis sighed.

Animal Control officers visited the house the next day and scanned the area. They gave Mrs. Davis some effective suggestions for dealing with the creatures, and gave her a leaflet with tips. Andy and Mrs. Davis cleaned up the yard, the patio, and the outskirts of the garage. When they took the trash out, they made doubly sure that they didn't drop and rubbish and painfully knotted the trash bags. But...every other night, the raccoons kept coming.

Mrs. Davis was strongly tempted to order a trash can strap to clamp the lid down, rendering it impenetrable to the pesky critters. But the arrival time according to the website, would take four weeks!

"Sonic? Tails?! You down there?" Buzz called from the basement stairs.

"Yep!" Sonic called back. Buzz and Slinky slid down the banister, and ran to the little section of the concrete basement under the sports gear shelf where Tails had set himself up an actual laboratory. He had a tablet that he'd recycled from Andy's confiscate pile a while back. Sonic was lazily lounging in Andy's baseball glove after having spent twenty minutes pounding Andy's punching bag, while Tails was sitting in Barbie's desk chair, typing away at his little keyboard.

"Whatcha doin', fellas?" Slinky asked.

"Me? I'm just chillin'." Sonic smirked. "Einstein over there is racking his marbles!"

"Tails? A bit late, isn't it?" Buzz put his hands on his hips.

"Hmm." Tails grunted.

"What are you working on, kid?"

"Mrs. Davis mentioned having an outside security camera installed." Tails answered. "I'm seeing if I can help her out by adding a few extra functions to it."

Buzz whistled. "That's ambitious." He remarked.

"So far, nothing has kept those raccoons away despite the best methods. If they're spotted, seeing them and calling Animal Control again won't be enough. We need a way of trapping them."

"Don't you think you're reading into this a little too much?" Buzz asked, rubbing the back of his neck.

"No!" Tails blurted back defensively. "I'm going to do this!"

"Whoa! Take it easy, buddy. I just asked a question." Buzz said firmly.

"Sorry." Tails ears and tails drooped.

"It's about time for bed."

"Please, just a little longer?" Sonic begged.

"Ten minutes." Buzz said. "After that, it's time to wrap it up for the night!"

"Got it." Tails nodded, never taking his eyes off the screen in front of him.

"Think I'll stick around down here, Buzz." Slinky said.

"Okay." Buzz sighed. Jessie stood in the hallway with her hands on her hips.

"Well?" She spoke.

"I gave them ten more minutes. After that, he will be going to bed."

"He's been working extra hard on this." Jessie said worriedly. "Why is this so important to him?"

"He wants to be like his hero, Sonic. He wants to help people." Buzz said. "But even I think he's going a little too far with it."

"I don't want to discourage him. He's so smart. But...I think this obsession is a bit unhealthy."

"Maybe. Kids can be so complex. Maybe we should talk to Woody." Buzz suggested. "How many times has he caught Mitsy reading way too late at night? Or now Sonic doing wild acrobatics at the most inconvenient times?"

"Yeah." Jessie nodded. "They sure are a handful."

"Tell me about it!" Buzz sighed heavily.

"But they're so adorable, I can't stay mad at them for long." She said fondly.

Ten minutes later, Buzz and Woody headed to the basement to fetch the young ones for bed. "Sonic?" Woody called.

"Shh!" Slinky and Sonic hissed at them. As Buzz and Woody came closer, they saw that Tails was leaning his head into his arm on his desk, sleeping. "He's out like a light!" Slinky told them.

"Passed out right after you left." Sonic chuckled.

"Good, it will save me the trouble of talking him down from pulling an all-nighter." Buzz said. He shook Tails' shoulder. "Tails? Hey, buddy. Come on, let's go to bed." He slipped his hands under the kid's tiny armpits and lifted him into his arms. Tails moaned groggily as his head fell on Buzz's chest but he didn't wake.

"You're something else, lil' partner." Woody grinned, ruffling Tails' bangs. Woody felt a sudden weight hop onto his back. "Hey. Really?" He scolded Sonic. The hedgehog had his hands on Woody's shoulders and his legs around the sheriff's hips.

"Carry me? It's a long way back to Andy's room." Sonic said sheepishly.

"Aren't you getting a little old for this?" Woody asked.

"Hey now!" Sonic argued. "You know how many rounds I went with that bag of sand? My arms are sore. Not to mention my knuckles." He moaned.

"That's the story you're going to use?"

"It's the truth. Not the best I've got, but it's concrete." Sonic smiled widely, trying to make his eyes larger with zeal.

"Ugh, fine." Woody shook his head. He wrapped his arms around Sonic's legs. "If it will help you calm down."

"Yes!" Sonic punched the air. "All aboard the Cowboy Express!"

"What am I going to do with you, ya little blue blur?" Woody chuckled dryly.

"I don't suppose loosening my curfew is negotiable?" Sonic grinned hopefully.

"Absolutely not. Some toys would actually like to sleep at night." Woody said firmly.

"Ugh, fine. You're so uncool." Sonic complained.

Buzz shook his head, amused and gazed down at the little plushie cradled in his arms. "Time to give your little noodle a rest, cadet." He said fondly. And with that, he carried the little fox back up the stairs to Andy's bedroom.

Question: Should I add a toy Agent Stone to this story? Yes or no? I'm in circular debating mode about that.
