Sorry to disappoint everyone, this is not an update. Not for this version of 'Apprentice of Ophis' anyway.
The story is revamped and the first chapter is up. The new one is called 'Son of Infinity'.
Why the rework again? Because the last time I updated this version was five years ago. And unlike my recent stories, I didn't write in-depth notes on the world and plots of the old stories. What I mean is that I lost track of where I was going with this version of the story. And while re-reading, I realized many story points, character development, and worldbuilding didn't make sense and I know that I can do better since I believe that I've improved after writing The Fourth Beast.
And why did I choose to pick this back up? It's because I wanted to take a break from 'The Fourth Beast' and work on a different story. I thought one of my more recent stories would be chosen by the voting (here and in Discord). I was wrong. I didn't realize ppl still liked 'Apprentice of Ophis'.
There you have it. I hope you all give the new one a shot.
As for this story, I will delete it after I upload a few more chapters to the new. But don't worry, I will add this story to the 'Dreamer's Archive' so that you can always read it if you want.
