It had been a week since the battle against Mantack's Legendary Villain army, and things had been quiet. With the added downtime, Sir. Caesar had taken the chance afforded by the restored cube to travel back to Cubalia, deliver his report, with Grandma Rose joining him to spend a few days. And on Earth, with a thorough examination of the transportal remote, Jeremy had not only managed to whip up a rudimentary teleport system so the Rangers could deal with problems more quickly, he had also managed to access a private social network reserved for Power Rangers, and found a few reactions to their team.

Trunks had initially been dismissive of the concept of the site, until Lenny had pointed out that the users had a "we'll help others in need however we can" mentality, which made him reconsider its worth. And also in the brief time off they had enjoyed, Johnny had been able to master summoning the Whale Morpher on command. And now, he was working on something else with it. "Summon Whale Zord!", he yelled, to little effect. He then tried firing a shot, yelling "Whale Zord, arise!" But still nothing. "Whale Zord, descend!" After these three failed calls, he started beating on the Whale Morpher. "Come on, call out your power source."

"What are you doing?", Marina asked as she walked out to join him.

Johnny then reverted the Morpher to its dormant Golden Cube state, which had the additional effect of reverting him to normal. "Since this thing can summon the Whale Zord, I felt we could do with whatever power it could offer us. But I can't figure out how to summon it."

"Perhaps we could have Jeremy look at it.", was Marina's suggestion. "After all, this is Cubalian technology, after a fashion. And he is something of an expert on this sort of thing."

Johnny shrugged. "Why not? It's been a few days since we had to deal with anything more severe than a cat up a tree. I suppose we can look at it more in-depth."

Up on the Arrowhead, the bridge crew were performing their own in-depth analysis, namely of footage from the Whale Ranger's previous battle. "Even without the associated Zord, the Whale power is far greater than any of the Rangers' previous arsenal.", Ignoblia summed up. She then cut from the footage of the battle to a shot of Bandora's Palace, the lunar fortress used by the Evil Space Aliens fought by the Mighty Morphin' Rangers years prior. "This shot was taken a day before the battle."

"What does that have to do with anything?" Cuborg asked. "That old place hasn't been used since that whole Robo-Rita business a few months back."

"'That old place' ended up taking a hit from the Whale Ranger's Super Primal Blow attack.", Ignoblia answered him, before replacing the image with one of a crater, with rubble floating in the air. "This image is of the same point, 24 hours after the battle."

"So, the Whale Zord's power is enough to destroy a significant chunk of a planetoid in the hands of a human.", Archris noted. "We must not let the Rangers acquire it before we do."

"Or before Mantack does.", Keldor spoke up. "As you requested, I had his ship bugged. And it turned out this interesting declaration."

Keldor then replayed the recording of the ship made immediately after the battle. "It seems I have underestimated the power of the Whale Zord. Giving a mere human the power to challenge me, Mantack. I think I'll take it for myself."

To say Archris was fuming at this would be an understatement. "So the fool thinks he can defy me and live? A grave mistake!" He then turned to his assistant. "Ignoblia, I entrust the retrieval of the Whale Zord to you."

"I won't let you down, sire.", Ignoblia nodded as she departed the room. "Perhaps I should continue with my modifications to 'that'."

Back at the zoo house, Jeremy had finished observing the Whale Morpher. "Well, have you found anything?", Tora asked.

"I've discovered that when inactive, the panels of the Morpher also function as a transmitter of some kind.", Jeremy explained. "One that can function with a minute charge of necessary."

Trunks was confused by this. "Meaning?"

"All we need to do to awaken the Whale is to pull on the cock once and then fire.", Jeremy clarified. "Johnny's been trying to use it in its weapon form, with no luck."

"I guess I never thought it could be used any other way.", Johnny shrugged.

Marina sighed. "And he's supposed to be the inheritor of this power?"

"Anyway, now that we know how to awaken this Whale, we should try to use it as quickly as possible.", Luke suggested.

"Right.", Lenny nodded as he cocked the weapon and pulled the trigger, before anyone could stop him. But they could still begin protesting.

"Are you nuts?", Trunks called out. "What's going to happen when that thing -?"

"Everybody, be quiet!", Marina yelled. "I can hear something. Five notes, repeated over and over again."

"I can hear it too.", Tora realised. "Doo doo doo, doo. Doo. Doo doo doo, doo. Doo."

The others then started listening out for it. "I think everyone can hear it.", Johnny realised. "That must be how the Whale Zord is awakened."

"But if all of us can hear it, Animan or not…", Luke realised. "The whole world can hear it."

"Including a certain seafood course.", Jeremy nodded. "We have to try and isolate where the music is strongest to lead us to the Whale. Before it's too late."

Onboard Mantack's ship, Metal Alice called him in. "Master, can you hear this?"

"Yes, the melody that sounds like the most beautiful sound in the universe.", Mantack nodded. "Where did it come from?"

"The signal sounds like it came from Cubalian technology.", Wrench informed him. "As for its point of origin on Earth, it seems to be coming from… an island by the name of 'Bermuda'."

"A Cubalian signal, eh?", Mantack commented with some realisation. "It must be the Whale Zord sending out a signal to the Rangers to find it. But it doesn't realise that it's only sent me a way to find and take it." He then turned to Metal Alice. "Plot a course for this 'Bermuda' place."

"As you command.", Alice nodded as she began operating the controls.

Back at the zoo house, the Rangers had turned to the news to try and isolate the source of the music. "All across the world, people have heard an eerie 5-note melody filling the air. While the strength of the music changes depending on area, it is most strongest on the island of Bermuda. Bermuda is a British settlement off the coast of Florida, perhaps best known for the myth of the Bermuda Triangle, wherein several US ships are believed to have disappeared under mysterious circumstances. We spoke to an island native for his views -."

Jeremy turned the TV off. "I think we've got a lead on the location of the Whale Zord."

"Right.", everyone nodded.

"If only we had a way to get there quickly.", Lenny lamented.

"We do now.", Trunks pointed out. "Jeremy and I have refined the transportal device to create a system that will teleport us anywhere." He went over to a laptop and typed in the word 'Bermuda', before hitting enter. This caused a portal to open. "Once we step through that portal, we'll be at our destination."

"Well it's lucky that you've constructed this thing.", Tora commented. "But how will we get back?"

"I programmed a return function into your Morphers.", Jeremy answered. "Just hold down the Morph button for 5 seconds, and it'll end a signal to the system to bring you back."

"Well that all sounds well and good.", Luke nodded, before putting his hand on Johnny's shoulder. "What do you say, Bro? Shall we go?"

"Yeah.", Johnny nodded. "Let's go." Everyone except Jeremy then leapt into the portal, which closed behind them.

And far away, on the cliffs of the island of Bemuda, the 6 Rangers were deposited. "Well, looks like we didn't need any preliminary tests for the teleport system.", Trunks noted. "We seem to have arrived at Bermuda."

"I'll say.", Luke nodded. "We probably have a good view of both the Sargasso and the Bermuda Triangle."

"That place where all those ships disappeared.", Marina asked. "The news people mentioned it before, but I want to know more."

"Like they said, it's an old myth.", Johnny explained. "Back in the 20th Century, a lot of military vehicles from America entered the area and never came out again. But the place isn't even one of the most dangerous areas in the sea. So a lot of people think that all those seamen and pilots were unlucky nowadays."

"So they're a lot like you." Everyone turned around to see Mantack approaching. "In that they're unlucky enough to meet with something else."

"Should've known you'd show your fishy face here.", Johnny commented. "But if you think we're gonna let you take the Whale Zord to Archris, then you've got another thing coming. It's Morphin' Time!"

Everyone took out their Morphers, spinning them into the correct configuration to Morph. "Predator/Primal Spirits, Awaken!" In a flash, all of them were morphed.

"Time to get savage!", Johnny declared, to everyone's confusion. "What, I thought we needed a battle cry." Everyone shrugged at this.

"I'll give you a reason to cry after this next battle.", Mantack declared as he ran forward, beginning a fight.

"Super Primal Mode!" Luke ran in at full power, initiating his strongest attack. "Darkness Charge!"

"Boring.", Mantack commented as he leapt over the charging opponent, kicking him down. "Hopefully your friends will provide a bigger challenge."

A larger fight then commenced, with all 6 combatants swinging their respective swords. But Mantack was also using his cybernetic leg to kick aside Trunks and knock the two girls back with a spinning slash, before Johnny ran in with his Chain Saber. But he wasn't able to put up much of a fight, with Mantack handily gaining the edge. But then Luke recovered from his crash. "Let's see how you like my Final Hunt!", he declared before using his Wolf Arm to send an energy slash at Mantack.

But due to bad positioning, the other 5 Rangers got in the way of the attack, absorbing the full blast while Mantack emerged unharmed. "Thanks for the help, Luke.", Mantack laughed as he sent a blast of water to knock the Chimera Ranger down again. "Looks like you were effective."

"We're not beat yet.", Johnny insisted as he got up and started swinging his Chain Saber at Mantack, only to take a blow to the chest from his opponent's sword. But he recovered quickly. "Alright, time to go all out." He summoned the Golden Cube to his hand.

"Ooh, things are getting good.", Mantack commented, entirely unfazed.

Johnny pulled back the handle to form the Whale Hyper Morpher and pulled the trigger. "Primal Evolution!" In a few seconds, he had become the Whale Ranger. As if on cue, a spout of water shot up from the nearby sea, which Johnny took notice of. "Could that be-?"

"It's the Whale Zord!", Lenny blurted out as Mantack also turned to look at it.

"It must've reacted to its power being invoked.", Luke suggested.

"I'm up then.", Marina declared as she handed her Primal Saber to Trunks and dove into the sea, transforming to Primal Mode in the process.

"No ya don't, Missy.", Mantack growled as he ran after her.

"Stop right there.", Johnny called out as he gave chase to the bounty hunter.

Both then leapt into the sea, at which point Luke prepared his Reel Staff. "Let's see if I've got enough fishing experience to pull Mantack out.", he stated as he cast his line into the sea.

He soon caught something, with the other Rangers running to join Luke as he struggled. "Looks like you need some help.", Tora realised. She and Lenny handed their Primal Sabers to Trunks as they moved to help Luke pull.

But instead of the intended Mantack, they instead pulled Marina out, with her falling backwards onto soft grass. "Ow.", was all she could say.

"It's just not your day, Man.", Lenny consoled Luke. "But at least Johnny still has a chance."

"Yes, and it's one I think we should let him take.", Trunks suggested as he distributed the Primal Sabers back among the three.

Under the sea, Mantack was swimming relentlessly. "Aha, we're in my element now.", he gargled surprisingly coherently. "Mantas are born underwater and their lasers can't work to hit me."

"Good thing super dense water doesn't count as a laser.", Johnny called out as he fired a few shots, that Mantack dodged handily. "But I guess that means nothing if I can't aim under here." Then Mantack returned fire, but Johnny was fortunately able to dodge those as well. "But luckily, neither can he."

As the two descended, they came across a large blue eye. An eye that was attached to a large red body that appeared beneath them with a cry that a zoologist like Johnny recognised instantly. "A whale song. So that's…"

"The Whale Zord.", Mantack finished his sentence. "And it's all mine."

But before either could make a move, the Whale Zord kept on swimming to the point it could use its tail to whip the two out of the water, as Johnny heard a faint voice echoing in his head. "Go away!", it stated.

Johnny ended up landing on a beach, reverted to normal, where the other 5 Rangers moved to recover him. "Johnny, are you alright?", Tora asked. "Did you see the Whale Zord?"

"I saw it.", Johnny answered as he pulled himself up. "But something tells me he doesn't want to talk while Mantack's here."

"Probably because he doesn't have any reason to trust you.", Marina suggested. "But maybe I can get through to him."

Meanwhile, Mantack had landed on a rocky crag, pulling himself up. "Man, that Whale has quite a punch to it.", he noted to no-one in particular. After all, he was alone. "But that won't stop me from claiming it."

As Mantack pulled himself up, Keldor approached him from behind. "Ah, I knew you'd be investigating the signal that we detected."

"What do you want?", Mantack asked. "Can't you see I'm doing the job you hired me for?"

"I'm here to warn you that Archris is onto your little plan to backstab him.", Keldor answered. "And he'll be sending down Ignoblia to take the Whale once you or the Rangers make a move to claim it."

Mantack scoffed at him. "Pah. Let him try to take me on. I bet that he's not so tough beneath all of his threats."

"I wouldn't advise trying to cross Archris.", Keldor stated, as he removed part of his helmet to reveal a scarred cheek. "I tried that once, and barely lived to tell the tale." He then stepped forward and placed a bottle of red liquid in Mantack's hand. "But if you had the Whale Zord in your possession, you might just stand a chance. Which is why I've 'misplaced' this chemical from the Arrowhead's workshop." He then turned and walked away. "After all, Archris may have expected you to serve him, but you actually work for me." He then teleported out.

Mantack looked down at the bottled chemical again. "Hmm, this could be interesting."

Back down at the beach, Marina had finished making her pitch. "The Whale is an aquatic animal with a built in sonar, I'm an aquatic animal with a built in sonar, we're practically family." She then took out the Shark Zord and threw it, causing it to enlarge. "And in case I get into trouble down there, Sharkie here will shield me from the worst of it."

Trunks thought that Marina's decision was odd. Surely she could simply swim the distance in her Animan form. But before he could voice this, Luke spoke up. "I'm going too. I've done nothing but screw up all day. And it's time I make up for that."

"That's noble of you, Luke. Really.", Trunks decided instead to speak to him. "But, how are you planning to get down there? At least Marina has an aquatic animal for her Zord."

"So do I.", Luke countered as he took out his own golden cube, throwing it to transform it into the Alligator Zord. "I can use the Alligator to help out."

"Well that seems fine.", Johnny insisted. "You two go down there, and we'll hold the fort up here."

"Right.", everyone nodded, as both Luke and Marina entered their respective Zords.

"Let's get down there, girl.", Marina stated as she set the Shark Zord in motion.

"We're not gonna let anyone show us up or stop us.", Luke said to the Alligator as they too descended.

"Ah, I thought they'd never leave." It was then that Mantack revealed himself to the Rangers, who turned to face him. "Now I can focus on getting rid of you 4."

"Over getting the Cubezord?", Lenny asked. "That's not like you."

"Maybe not.", Mantack commented as he went over and touched Johnny's head with his Anima Arm. "But my crew-mates have a nasty surprise prepared for them." He then raised his hand as his eyes glowed. "Whereas I've brought some old friends along to deal with you."

His Anima Arm then manifested Gobble Gator, Thornhead and Techno-Fighter - the latter of whom was in severely reduced circumstances. "Hey, a big star like me can't be brought back as a small fry like these riff-raff."

"Hey, we can hear you, ya know.", Gobble Gator snarled.

"I can't do two sizes at once while resurrecting people.", Mantack responded. "But I'm sure I have a servant who does."

Onboard his ship, Metal Alice listened and obeyed. "Request understood, Master. I shall now enlarge Techno-Fighter."

Wrench was confused. "But we're underwater. The Magna Beam won't work here."

"I have no need for your crude means of monster enlargement.", Metal Alice informed him, as she took out a tablet and tapped a few buttons. "Zombots!"

On shore, a group of cybernetic flying creatures with one eyed came in and plunged into Techno-Fighter's body, causing it to enlarge. "Now I've become a size more befitting my star power."

"More like one more befitting your ego.", Lenny yelled at him.

"What're we going to do?", Tora asked. "Without the Shark, Cyber or Bat Cubezords, we can't form the Predator Megazord to beat him."

"Then you'll have to settle for the best you've got.", Johnny answered as he threw the Gorilla Cube at Trunks. "I'll hold off these two."

"Wishful thinking.", Thornhead taunted him. "But the two of us will uproot you in the end."

"And then eat what's left of you.", Gobble Gator added.

Down beneath the water, the two Zords continued their descent. "You sure you can see anything?", Marina asked Luke. "We don't want any more instances of you missing the target today."

"I already said I was sorry.", Luke practically moaned. "And besides, alligators have better eyesight than rhinos. I think I can work well enough this time."

"That's good.", Marina nodded. "We don't want to have… any… complicat-." She then started to sweat profusely. "Is it getting unusually hot in here?"

"Yeah, and I'm supposed to be a cold blooded animal.", Luke gasped out as he began to use his hand to fan himself. The cockpit then began to shake. "Looks like the Zords don't like it either."

"Yeah.", Marina said as she tried to hold on for dear life. "And I think Sharkie's got a lock on what she thinks the problem is." Sure enough, when Luke looked outside, the water that the two Zords currently occupied had turned blood red.

And at the centre of the currently red area was Mantack's ship, in which Metal Alice and Wrench were operation the controls. "Full dispersion of the chemical agent is a success.", Alice noted. "It looks like Keldor was honest when lending his aid."

"If only I knew what that chemical thingy does.", Wrench pouted. "Then I wouldn't feel so much like a useless slave."

"You ARE a useless slave.", Metal Alice stated. "But if you must know, the agent merges with H2O to increase its latent heat to the point that nothing can survive within it. Not even the Whale Zord."

"So once it spreads out far enough to reach the Whale, then Mantack…", Wrench began.

"Exactly.", Alice nodded. "Now then, let's continue with the mission."

But outside the ship, the Shark Zord, still recoiling from the pain of the extreme heat, crashed into the back of the ship, stopping the flow of the chemical and sending it buffeting. "That shouldn't have happened.", Wrench commented.

"We should've calculated the Rangers' interference.", Alice agreed. "Let's withdraw. The Whale should appear soon." The ship then emerged from the waters and took off.

And beneath the waters, Luke had passed out from the heat exhaustion. "Oh no, Luke.", Marina gasped as she turned her Shark around, trying to rejoin with him.

Back on the surface, Lenny, Trunks and Tora combined their respective Zords with the Gorilla, Giraffe and Mole to form a new combination. This one resembled the Jungle Megazord with the legs from the Jungle Beast Megazord. "Kong Megazord, ready!"

"Oh, looks like you have some new tricks to show off.", Techno-Fighter stated as he proceeded to shoot lasers from the cannons his crossed arms.

"Right, I forgot this guy was made of Pyrafighters.", Trunks, who was controlling the new formation, sighed as he and the others had the Kong use its own arms to beat the lasers back, before walking forward and punching the revived Hunter in the chest.

"Why you-! Take this." Techno-Fighter's response to this onslaught was to deliver a kick that sent the Megazord reeling.

On the ground, Johnny summoned out the Whale Morpher and used it to change forms. "Primal Evolution!" After changing, he did his introduction. "Rising up from the Depths, Wild Fury Whale Ranger!"

"You think a new suit will make any difference?", Thornhead laughed. "Plants devour water to become stronger."

"I don't know.", Gobble Gator chattered nervously. "Last time he pulled out a new suit, it didn't end well for me."

But that didn't stop the pair from charging in, with Johnny deftly dodging their attacks, managing to elbow Thornhead, before sending her into Gobble Gator's mouth, after which he spat her out. "Guess you're not a vegetarian.", the Whale Ranger remarked. He then delivered kicks to both opponents to knock them out.

From the sidelines, Mantack was observing all of this. "That's right. Kill enough time for the Whale to float up to the surface.", he laughed. "And then I can capture it." He turned to look at the part of the water that had been affected by the heat agent, which had turned a purplish colour.

But soon enough, the Whale Zord appeared under the seas to disperse the heating agent, as Marina floated to the surface carrying an unconscious Luke. Both were now unmorphed, and Marina now had a blank look on her face. "Go away!", she stated, her voice showing no emotion.

Back in the air, the Kong Megazord was being buffeted by Techno-Fighter. "We need more power.", Tora urged.

"And I know how we can get some.", Lenny nodded, as he took out a smaller cube, throwing it. "Bear Zord, enlarge!"

The Bear Zord once more assumed its golden colours. "Oh, so you have a magic trick of your own.", Techno-Fighter commented. "I hate competition." He then fired lasers from his arms at the Shining Bear Zord, which ended up deflecting them after completing its transformation into an axe.

"Now then, let's see how you take your hits.", Trunks announced as the Shining Bear Axe was brought down and up on Techno-Fighter's body.

On the ground, Thornhead and Gobble Gator both tried firing lasers at Johnny, but he used the Whale Morpher to protect himself by creating a shield around his whole body, sparing him from any damage. "I didn't know I could do that.", he commented as he aimed the cannon at both of them, firing several shots to damage the pair. He then pumped it three times and aimed again, energy gathering into the weapon. "Super Primal Blow!"

He fired the shot at the pair, which seemingly flew above their heads. "Ha. Is that the best you can d-?" Thornhead started to gloat, before the blast came down to hit her and Gobble Gator.

"Actually, yes.", Johnny answered as he turned around.

"I wanted you not to underestimate his new suit.", Gobble Gator cried as both revived monsters disintegrated into clone matter.

Up in the air, the Kong had succeeded in knocking Techno-Fighter down. "Okay, now let's punch his lights out.", Trunks stated as he inserted his Morpher into the control weapon.

"Jungle Furious Final Attack!" As Techno-Fighter recovered, he found himself being bombarded with a flurry of flying fists, which finished his fight."

"Bravo. You put on a great show.", Techno-Fighter blurted out before he was destroyed.

"Top of the food chain.", Trunks led the other Rangers in calling out.

And then the Kong Megazord turned to the sea, as the contaminated area turned back to blue. "And it looks like something cleared up the water.", Tora noted.

Once more, the Whale emerged from the sea, as Marina approached Johnny and Mantack, dropping Luke on the floor. "Marina, you're alright.", Johnny sighed in relief. "What happened down there?"

"Go away!", Marina announced, as the whale released a spout of water that initially formed a rainbow, before crystallising into a physical spout.

Mantack then leapt down to knock Johnny down. "Now I've got a chance to snag that leviathan. So get outta my way, Little Missy."

He then fired several blasts at the Whale, which was unaffected. As Mantack raised his sword, Johnny ran forward to tackle and hold him in place. "Marina, get out of here.", he urged. "Focus on getting the Whale to safety."

The two were then shot by a third beam, coming from an arriving army of Pyrafighters. The fleet then turned its fire to the Kong Megazord. "We need to fight back.", Lenny urged as he had the Kong aim its cannon and fire at the enemy fleet, destroying three ships.

The rest of the Pyrafighters then turned their fire on the Whale Zord, which dived underwater. "Go away!", Marina repeated, her voice now getting louder.

"Wait a minute.", Johnny realised. "You may be using Marina's body, but you're not her." He remembered the voice calling to him underwater, saying the same thing. It had now possessed Marina to speak its thoughts. But he didn't have time to act on this, as he, Mantack and the Kong found themselves firing back against the Hunters' fleet.

Soon enough, Ignoblia teleported down. "I always say, never send a mercenary to do a retrieval mission. But then she saw the Whale take off out of the sea and into the air. "But how-?"

"All have refused to heed my warnings.", Marina, or rather the force possessing her, declared. "Thus I will leave this place so that none shall use me as a weapon." After the Whale rammed into several Pyrafighters, it then descended underwater once again. Following this, Marina collapsed. Johnny was quick to run to her side

"Well, this is interesting.", Ignoblia noted before turning to Mantack. "Oh, and by the way, your contract with us has been terminated. As you soon shall be."

Onboard the Arrowhead, Keldor returned, confused. "What's been happening?", he asked.

"Yeah, I'd like to know that too.", Cuborg commented.

Archris was quick to answer. "I've informed Mantack of the bad news regarding his employment with us. And now, we'll be handling the retrieval."

Down on Earth, the same thing had been explained to Mantack by Ignoblia. "So now we've double crossed each other, there's no need for professional courtesy anymore."

"Indeed.", Ignoblia answered as she turned around, pulled out her laser nunchucks and turned around again to fire on him.

The Whale Zord then reappeared from the deep, unleashing the full force of its power to wipe out the entire fleet of Pyrafighters with missiles. But then it turned towards the Kong. "I don't like that expresssion.", Trunks commented, nervous.

The same voice that Johnny had heard earlier now spoke again. But now, it was much louder. "GO AWAY!" It fired its missiles at the Kong, before delivering a slap of its tail that knocked the individual Zords apart.

"It was you.", Johnny realised. "You were speaking to me the whole time." The Whale didn't answer this, instead choosing to fire its missiles at him and the two villains. The Whale then flew away into the air, generating a portal into which it disappeared.

"Time to make my exit.", Ignoblia decided as the missiles made contact, sending both Mantack and Johnny reeling.

Onboard the Arrowhead, the rest of the Hunters were shocked by the level of power. All except for Archris. "So, the Whale doesn't consider the Rangers allies anymore than us.", he noted. He then pressed a button on his throne, materialising a familiar box.

"Oh this is more than a mere Destructoid.", Archris answered. "I've designed some improvements." Keldor watched this with shock, especially as Archris opened it.

Back at the zoo, Jeremy watched as the 6 Rangers teleported back, with Marina and Luke looking exhausted. "You took your time.", he pointed out. "I was starting to think that you'd been captured. Or worse."

"Don't worry, we're fine.", Johnny assured him. "But really, that whole mission could've gone better."

"The only good thing to come out of it was the fact that Mantack and Archris have seemingly fallen out.", Tora continued. "Aside from that, it turns out that the Whale isn't willing to play ball with us, and both Luke and Marina have some minor heatstroke.

"I'll have to try putting out a message on the Ranger web to try and help us find the Whale.", Trunks decided. "That portal it generated didn't look like it could've been interstellar, so it has to be somewhere on Earth."

"That's all well and good.", Lenny said in response. "But what we'd be better off knowing is why it attacked us as well. And that voice calling 'Go Away!' - we don't know what that was about."

"I do.", Marina said as she pulled herself back up. "It was inside my head, transmitting its thoughts to me. The Whale refuses to be part of our war. And nothing we say will convince him otherwise."
