When Yang awakened from her sleep, she immediately realized that something was wrong.

She was in a forest that felt vaguely familiar. She also felt foul energies that felt similar yet different to the Daedra. But the real reason she felt that something was wrong, was because she was all too familiar with this situation and was entirely uncomfortable with how her body felt.

Gone was the aged and well-built body of the brawler that she had as a Huntress and a Dragonborn. In its place, was the body of a child that was not even into the double digits.

Worse still and much more damning fact was the little wagon that she was dragging behind her, and the little girl in a red cloak that was sleeping peacefully in the said wagon.

This was a moment that she had relived hundreds of times in her nightmares, but the fact that she could still feel her magika, her aura, and all her powers was the only reason that she could tell that this was not a dream.

And as if they were waiting for this very moment, the creatures made by the God of Darkness, the creatures of Grimm, slowly walked out of the woods, growling with hunger for the flesh of humans.

Unfortunately for the creatures, facing them was not a weak child but the Dovahkiin that had killed a demigod when she was a young woman. Her powers had only matured the more she aged.

Without even flinching, Yang attacked the creatures.

"Fus!"

She didn't even use the full shout, yet it was enough to vaporize the Beowulfs and upend the trees in the surrounding areas, including a certain unlucky crow that was thrown into the air because of the sudden tempest that was unleashed by Yang.

But Yang did not care about all this. The moment she overcame the shock, she started laughing loudly like a mad woman.

Although there were a few complications, she was finally home.

When Blake woke up, she was in a bed that felt familiar.

As she looked around, she found the room to be even more familiar.

At first, she thought this was another nightmare. A twisted version of events that had transpired when she made the worst decision in her life.

She looked down to find that she was in the same body as the one she had as a child.

Blake felt a bad premonition and immediately brought her fingers together in a cross before using a powerful burst of chakra.

"KAI"

But nothing happened except the windows rattling a little under the force of chakra while a few of the things in the room scattered about.

With the reassurance that this was not a genjutsu, she slowly got up from her bed, only for her door to be torn off its hinges as two people burst into the room in a panic at the loud sound of her earlier chakra burst.

"Blake!"

"Baby are you all right? We heard a loud noise-"

Seeing the two people that she thought she would never see again, Blake did the first thing that came to her mind.

She immediately dashed to her parents and caught them in a tight hug as she cried.

This was not a dream, this was real.

She was really home and more than that, she had a chance to fix her mistakes.

Ruby woke up to the sounds of shouting, screaming, and crying.

At first, her instincts as a huntress and God Eater took over as she tried to roll out of bed and reach for her God Arc, but she soon realized that something was wrong.

The first thing she noticed was that her body was completely out of balance. Her height was all wrong and so was her reach. This caused what would have been a graceful roll to turn into an uncontrolled tumble to the ground.

The second thing she noticed was the absence of the familiar presence in her mind that she associated with her God Arc. It wasn't completely gone, but much more muted, as if it was located in another room.

The last, and most horrifying detail, was the missing armlet on her arm.

Instantly, horror overshadowed any other emotion that she would have felt.

A god eater without their armlet was nothing more than Aragami waiting to transform.

Ruby took action immediately and focused all her aura on her own body, trying to suppress the surge of Oracle energy that was no doubt about to erupt from her body and transform her into a grotesque monster.

But strangely enough, she felt nothing. No, rather, she felt the Oracle energy all right, but it was dormant just like it would be if she still had her armlet. But that should be impossible, even with her aura.

It was only now that she realized that the voices had stopped and her room was being lit up with light from the outside.

She turned around to find a sight that brought tears to her eyes.

Standing at the door was her father who looked haggard, just like he used to be when Ruby's mother had died. Her drunk uncle looked like he needed a drink really badly if his haunted eyes were anything to go by. And finally, her older sister who was looking at her with a look of sorrow, delight, and suspicion.

Without thinking, Ruby unconsciously used her semblance to dash across the room and envelop them in a hug, and start to cry.

"I-I thought, I lost you-"

"Shh, calm down sis, I am not going anywhere. Not anymore"

For the first time in more than a decade, Ruby cried herself to sleep in the safety of her family's arms.

When Weiss woke up from her sleep, the first thing she did was curse Morgana rather loudly, causing her butler, Klein to wonder what had happened.

But soon, her mentality as a magus and knight took over as she assessed her surroundings while suppressing the rising emotions in her heart.

This was not the first time that Morgan or Merlin had played a trick on her mind with the power of illusions.

But when she spread out her Od and used Structural Analysis to go through everything in her room, she finally realized that this was no illusion or dream.

Then, she finally looked down at her body and realized the reason why she felt rather weak.

Unlike the toned and well-built body of a knight and huntress, what she saw was the body of a 14-year-old girl who was extremely conscious about her image and how she represented her family.

"….This will not do at all"

Weiss immediately took off the stupid dress that she was wearing and got something that was much more comfortable and provided enough mobility for her. Once she was done dressing, she reached for her weapon, only to realize that she did not have it with her.

"…Right, I didn't get it commissioned until I decided to be a huntress a few months from now"

It was extremely easy for Weiss to slip into her old personality despite the sudden shock of being thrown back into her homeworld and into a younger body. It was not that hard to accept as a powerful Magus who was aware of the true magics and the mechanizations of the Counter-Force.

In fact, she counted herself lucky that the counter force did not take action until now to remove her from the equation due to her status as an anomaly in that world.

Since she no longer had her favored weapon, Weiss decided to improvise.

She walked to the table that still had the silverware that Klein had left for her during dinner and took the knife from it.

A simple application of Alteration and Reinforcement made the knife longer and sharpened it to the point that even a hunter would find it to be a worthy killing weapon.

"…This is good enough for now"

With her preparations done, she concealed the changed knife in her jacket and walked towards the room that housed the man that she once called father.

If there was one thing that Weiss knew at this moment, it was that she was presented with the golden opportunity to fix her family while also changing the fate of many people in the process.

And no Magus worthy of his title would let such an opportunity slip past them, let alone a top-class magus like Weiss Schnee, the Magus of the Elements.

In the small village of Domremy located outside of Mistral, the youngest daughter of the Arc family, Jade Arc, screamed in fear, causing the rest of her siblings and her parents to rush towards the room of the only other male in the Arc family.

But when they reached the room and burst inside, they realized the reason for Jade's scream.

Standing in the room of the 16-year-old Jaune Arc was a man who looked much like Nicholas Arc, the patriarch of the Arc family. The man looked to be 18 years of age, with his long hair tied in a ponytail.

His cold and tired blue eyes scanned his surroundings and only softened a little when he looked at the assembly of seven girls, one woman, and one man.

But Nicholas did not have the luxury of observing the expressions of the stranger as he was much more focused on the, frankly absurd and overcompensating large, handgun with the symbol of an Ace printed on it in one of the hands of the stranger and the massive slab that can only loosely be called a sword thanks to what appears to be chainsaw like teeth attached to one of the edges. Then there was also the strange armor that looked way too advanced for a common thief or rogue huntsman to have.

In other words, this man was a threat, and with the fact that his son was missing, the Huntsman did the only thing that came to his mind and attacked the lone Guardian.

On that day, the Arc family's house went up in the flames of Sol and the neighbors were witness to the comedic scene of two men sitting on the ground with sheepish expressions as the eight females of the family gave them a serious tongue-lashing.
