"And remember to give me a call every week. Also, do you have your-"

"Mom, I am a grown woman. I can take care of myself"

"I know my kitten, but that does not mean I cannot worry"

"Kali, you should trust Blake more. She is strong enough to trounce me in an even fight so there is no way she will have any difficulty in the future"

"Yeah, listen to Dad"

"Shush you! Who was the one that nearly wore down our floorboards last night while pacing in worry for his daughter"

"…."

"That's right! Stay silent"

Looking at her parents arguing and worrying over her, Blake could not help but smile as she was once again reminded of how much of a fool she had been the first time around to leave such loving people behind for a bunch of terrorists.

If she had her way, she would never leave her home and stay here for the rest of her life, the world be damned for all she cared.

But unfortunately, she had friends, no, family waiting for her out there.

There was no doubt in her mind Weiss was also brought back to the past if the way the SDC had changed in the past two years was anything to go by. But she had no clue as to whether the other half of her team had also come back or she was going to deal with an unaware version of Yang and Ruby. But she did not really care about it.

If they don't remember, then that is fine too. It meant that their innocence had yet to be tainted by the horrors of the world. It meant that Blake still had a chance of preserving their happiness by eliminating such horrors before they could reach them.

But to do any of these things, she needed to be at Beacon. That was why she decided to have Ghira send a letter to Vale to have her go to Beacon both as a diplomat and a student. Since the White Fang was definitively proven as terrorists this time around thanks to her dad's actions after he learned the truth about the future, Her family has won the loyalty of every neutral Faunus on the island, hence exposing Fang sympathizers and accomplices who were promptly deported.

This meant that Menagerie had actually gained some respect in the international community and had even gained recognition as a Kingdom in its making. While this might not mean much to the average citizen of the other kingdoms, it meant a lot to the people on Menagerie who were now receiving more business than usual from other kingdoms thanks to the fact that the merchants no longer had to fear the persecution of White Fang radicals attacking them on sight simply because they were human.

This fact also improved Menagerie's economy and allowed them to buy things that they could never dream of before. In fact, this had allowed Menagerie to actually start negotiating with Atlast to build a full-sized CCT on Menagerie.

All this was only possible because Menagerie had managed to expel the cancer that was the White Fang. This was a fact that was not missed by the people of Menagerie who were once again willing to believe in Ghira's peaceful methods.

As for Sienna and the White Fang? Last Blake heard she was seen in Mistral where she was planning on setting up the new White Fang main base alongside her newest disciple.

A disciple that my spies have informed me to be none other than Adam Taurus.

I could not help but pity Sienna the moment I heard who she had taken under her wing. Adam's hatred for humanity would undoubtedly lead to him doing something extreme which would end up attracting the attention of the mysterious 'Ghost of Mistral' a bounty hunter that supposedly abhorred any kind of criminals and killed them with extreme prejudice.

Whatever the case may be, Blake was sure that Mistral was about to become a place of intense bloodbath and she could not care less about it.

Unlike her idealistic younger self, she was no naïve fool. She was a Shinobi and she now knew that as long as a being has sentience, it was impossible to remove the emotion of hatred and discrimination from their minds. That was why, she now only cared about her family and friends and couldn't care less about the state of the world.

She was brought out of her thoughts when she realized that her parents were finally done bickering and turned to them who brought her into a hug.

"Be careful out there"

Blake simply smiled and hugged them back before walking with them to the ship that was scheduled to leave for Vale.

Weiss sat at the piano, playing the instrument one final time before she left to find her friends and see if they remembered the past or not.

Frankly, the reason she was playing the instrument was not only because it was her hobby but also to suppress the anxiety and fears in her heart.

There was once a time when she believed that her family was perfect. An image that was shattered when she realized what a real family was thanks to her team.

Truly, she would not hesitate to say that team RWBY was her family. A family for which she would die. That was why, despite having somehow managed to repair her broken family by getting rid of that bastard, she wanted to return to her true family.

But now that the moment she has been waiting for has finally arrived, she felt nervous. Afraid that her friends would no longer remember her, or worse, would remember her but fail to recognize who she has become in the time she spent in Camelot.

There was no way her friends would fail to recognize that she had become far more ruthless in her methods and fighting style. She no longer aims to maim but rather kills her targets and no longer cares about her image in the public but only about getting the job done efficiently.

She was afraid that they would see her as the same kind of evil that they were fighting.

But whatever their judgment might be, she was willing to take it. Because they were her family and no one mattered more to her than her family.

Besides, she also had another worry.

In the past two years, she had spent the resources of the SDC to keep track of the families of her friends.

Ruby and Yang were accounted for and had already provided proof that they remembered the past if the way Ruby blasted through the Signal academy and Yang not being as hot-tempered and actually tying her long hair into a practical braid was anything to go by.

With the way things have been going in Menagerie, it was given that Blake had also come back to the past.

Weiss, Jaune, and Winter were the last people on the light bridge before Weiss fell. With Winter not having any memories of the past this life, proving that she did not fall off the bridge, it just left Jaune as the only one unaccounted for.

She had spent a considerable amount of resources on tracking down the Arc family only to find that the Arc family had left the village of Domremy over two years ago when their house went up in flames mysteriously and their only son came down with a mysterious illness.

Normally, Weiss would have attributed these changes to Jaune having returned back to the past but this judgment was very hard for her to pass since she knew very little about Jaune's past.

For all she knew, this event could have very well happened in the original timeline as well, which meant that Jaune did not fall off the bridge.

This was the reason why she was worried.

Jaune was her friend and she refused to spare any expenses to make sure that he was safe. But despite all her efforts, she found no lead on the new residence of the Arc family.

This meant that she had no way of ascertaining his safety until she got to Beacon and saw him in person.

As she played the final note, the door opened, revealing that her mother, sister, and little brother had walked into the room.

Weiss smiled. Not a practiced smile, but a genuine one as she talked to her family while pushing down her worries and fears.

It was pointless to worry since the moment of truth was fast approaching.
