I must say, I revised this a lot of times again but I managed to have some free time in school so... YAY

Without further ado... lets start and enjoy reading!

Chapter 4: An Angel Descent

Half an hour had passed, and almost all of the streets were empty. Children went back to their homes with their parents, and people gathered their things before returning to their houses with the exception of some guards who were taking night shifts around.

"There it is, Goku. There's my house" Padmé gestured towards the house.

He saw a simple but tasteful structure, surrounded, like everything he saw in this city, by flowers and vines and hedges. Padmé then went immediately for the door.

"Come on, Goku. Let's see if they're still up."

Padmé knocked at the door about four times, and they could hear the sound of multiple light footsteps. The door opened to see two pairs of girls, who looked to be no more than a few years old, one a bit taller than the other, who had hair similar to Padmé's and the other one had short, blond, and curly hair.

"Aunt Padmé! Aunt Padmé!" The two girls ran and hugged Padmé's legs with their small arms.

"Ryoo! Pooja!" Padmé cried, hugging both of them and twirling them about. "I'm so happy to see you both!" She kissed them both and set them down, the two young girls then noticed Goku at the back. Padmé then took the two girls by the hand and led them toward the Saiyan.

"This is Goku. Goku, this is Ryoo and Pooja!" Padmé introduced.

The two young pairs looked at one another as they shyly said. "Hello."

"Yo!" Goku greeted them with a child-like grin on his face, waving his right hand as a sign of friendly greeting.

"Padmé!"

He then saw a woman coming out of the door and immediately hugged Padmé in which she also returned the favor, hugging her tightly.

"Oh, Sola! I'm so happy to see you well." Padmé said.

The woman who hugged Padmé looked quite a resemblance to her. This was Sola. She was a little older and looked a bit worn. There was no doubt that she was Padmé's sister.

"I'm happy to see you too, Sis! Come inside, I'm sure that you're hungry." Sola said. A sound of a grumble came from Padmé's stomach as the older sister laughed.

"You have no idea, sis." Padmé said, almost embarrassed that her stomach kept on growling despite having good reason.

The five individuals then went inside the house as Goku looked around the surroundings. The interior of the house was simply wonderful and it was filled with life. There were no glaring lights, no beeping consoles, or flickering computer screens. The furniture was plush and comfortable; the floors were made of cool stone or covered in soft carpeting.

This feeling reminded him of his time with his family, his wife, Chi Chi, his son Gohan, and his father-in-law, Ox King. All of them were having the time of their life even though there was no battle that could make him excited, it was relaxing and peaceful.

It was peaceful.

That was until…

"Goku?"

Goku snapped out of his trance and saw Padmè staring at him.

"Are you feeling okay?" Padmè asked.

"Oh, um yup!" Goku immediately said. Padmè raised her eyebrow and wanted to know what made Goku act that way but let it go for now.

"Alright then. Just follow me towards the dining room with my family."

Goku nodded in understanding as both of them went to the dining room. He then saw a middle-aged man and woman preparing the meals, they were no doubt, her parents, and Padmé introduced him to them. Ruwee, her father was a strong-shouldered man with a face that was plain and strong and compassionate all at once. And then Padmé's mother, Jobal, whose face had the same innocent and sincere smile as her daughter with the same generosity.

"So... Let's all take a seat then!" Jobal said, clapping her hands, and gesturing to the dining table. All of them were now sitting at the dining table, comfortably quiet and listening to the bustle in the next room, which was stoneware plates and mugs. Sola came inside carrying bowls and plates.

Goku could smell the flavor inside of those bowls and plates and it made him drool despite the fact that he had just eaten his lunch just an hour ago.

"Woah, that smells delicious, Mrs. Jobal." Goku said. His hands were about to touch the plates until…

"Goku."

Goku immediately pulled his hand back from the plates with an innocent smile. He could feel Padmé's eyes glaring at him.

The Senator rolled her eyes, she'd like to believe that his stomach had a mini black hole.

"Well, someone's hungry tonight." Sola chuckled.

"Surprisingly, sister. He's already eaten a lot earlier in lunch until nighttime and yet here he is just as hungry as ever." Padmè facepalmed.

"In my defense, I was really hungry." Goku defended himself for his appetite. "Who knows how long I've been stuck in that pod. Hehe."

"You have a point, Goku. I'll give you that." Padmè conceded. "You're so hungry that you made the entire Diner closed down, and then here you are for desserts."

"Welp, a man's gotta eat for the good ol stomach." Goku patted his stomach and as if it was sentient, the stomach growled back. "Seeee, my stomach agrees."

Padmè could only sigh at this. Yes, a mini black hole indeed. "Just don't do that here, for my family's sake."

Padmé pleaded to the Saiyan and he gave her a thumbs-up in assurance. "Don't worry. I'll try to control myself."

"I hope so but I feel like I'm going to eat those words soon." Padmé muttered under her breath.

"Sis! How could you say something like that!? I'm sure that he's hungry. Let him eat the way he wants to." Sola said, giving Goku a wink.

"I agree with your sister, Padmé. As you told me before about him, he did come from a place far away from the Republic Territory. I'm quite certain that he will need to eat as much food as he needs." Jobal said, agreeing with her older daughter.

"Trust me, Mom. I've seen the way he eats his lunch earlier. You do not want this to happen." Padmé retorted.

"Don't worry, Senator Padmé. I'll do my best to keep myself from eating way too much. Hehe." Goku reassured her, though Padmé doubted that he would control that for long.

"Alright now everyone, it's time to chow down." Jobal said happily taking her seat along with her husband.

And thus they began to eat. Surprisingly, Goku managed to control himself from eating way too much like he always did before, though there were some times that he failed to control himself. Despite that fact, Padmé's family was quite shocked that he was eating that many meals but they just laughed it off.

"So Mr. Son." Ruwee cleared his throat. "Since you are a guest or foreigner from another galaxy or far enough. What do you think of this cook my wife made?"

Goku still eating the large meat, looked at Padmé's father and answered him with his mouth still full. "Itz amaziingg Mistaw Ruwee!"

Padmé gave him a glare as she scolded him. "You're mouth is still full, Goku. Swallow them up first before speaking."

"Oops! Sorry! Give me a moment." Goku then swallowed a lump of entire meat without getting choked by its sheer size. "Wooh! The food here is amazing, Mr. Ruwee! This is the first time I've ever eaten something from a different world."

"Well, I'm really glad that you love it, dear. No one has ever left this house without satisfaction from their hungry stomach." Jobal said, laughing at the sight of Goku's way of eating. Padmé still eating her meal on her plate was happy and relieved that her family wasn't that frightened about her foreign friend's way of eating unlike recently at the diner.

"What kind of job do you have, Mr. Son?" Ruwee asked kindly. "Judging from your muscles, you're either a builder or a soldier."

"Oh, I'm not a soldier, I don't think I'll ever be good at that since I usually go on my own or with my friends." Goku said. "I am a martial arts fighter though, I like to fight strong people!"

Padmé's parents nodded and then looked at each other for a moment and turned their heads toward him and Ruwee asked. "You're not a Bounty Hunter are you?"

"Bounty hunter? You mean the one that targets people including the innocent ones?" Goku shook his head. "Nope. I may like fighting, but I never like to pick on others. I never like those kinds of things."

Ruwee smiled at his answer. "Well, that's good to know Mr. Son. Bounty Hunters are always everywhere in this galaxy, some of them have done some awful things for money."

"Sheesh, I never understood why they enjoy those kinds of stuff. Like what's so fun about killing others who are not capable of defending themselves." Goku said in dismay. "Couldn't they just earn money without the need of killing?"

Padmé sighed. "Unfortunately, there are some reasons that made other bounty hunters what they are. Perhaps they lived in poverty unlike us here, and so they did for the sake of living."

Sola added. "Or their government is so corrupt to the point they made their people's lives a living hell."

Goku felt bad that there were some worlds that lived in such a worse state compared to here and his home. "Gee, I never really understand too much about governments and stuff, but if they're corrupt or jerks, has anyone tried to stop them before? Me and my friends helped out fight bad people in my world."

"I'm definitely sure that there are people fighting them, but sometimes it isn't so simple even if they manage to take them out. It's more complicated." Padmé explained.

"Hmm, I see." Goku said.

"Oh, by the way, Mr. Son-"

"Ooh, you can just call me Goku, Mr. Ruwee, you don't have to be formal to me, hehe." Goku told him with a cheery look.

Ruwee laughed. "As you wish then, Goku, and as I was saying, you said that you're a fighter and like to fight strong people, and we already ruled out the soldier and Bounty Hunter. May I ask why you have a passion for those kinds of things? What is your ambition in such things?

"Well, I like to fight strong people, and the ones who are stronger than me." Goku simply answered.

"That's it? Is there anything else besides that? Like you fight to protect your loved ones." Ruwee said. Wanting to know more about Goku's habit of fighting. He was a senator one time in the Republic, he had seen warriors, and soldiers from other races and worlds that had fought for glory, others to bring ruin, and others to protect their people.

"Oh yeah of course! I do fight to protect anyone who's close to me even the ones that I don't know or just met. But that's another reason. I like to fight because I want to get stronger so I can fight stronger people. One of my teachers who trained me for months told me if I ever wanted to become strong, I have to keep on training in order for me to break my limits even if it would take time and patience to do so. I want to keep on going higher and higher. It's why I always get into dangerous stuff. To challenge me, my body, my skills, and what I've learned during my journey back on my world."

Goku stopped talking for a moment as he then added. "I like to fight strong people, especially the dangerous ones, they always give me excitement... But I always hate the fact that some of them who I fought long ago always use their strength to reign and harm innocent people and bystanders."

"Like they wanted to feel superior by hurting other people, to make them fear their power, to make them grovel and beg, especially the ones who could barely fight for themselves. I always don't get why they do that and I never like that. Not one bit." Goku said, remembering his time when he fought King Piccolo, the Elite Saiyans, and the worst of all, Frieza who throughout his years, kept breaking worlds and having people suffer at his might and power.

"If you want to know if you're strong then just fight people who can be equal to you or better yet a stronger one. If you get beaten, don't feel sad or humiliated, if anything you should be happy, That means there's a lot more to improve for yourself. It's one of the most important things my teacher taught me when I was beaten at a tournament in my home. Never give up. Never lose hope. You should keep training all the way until you can finally surpass that person and if there's another person who is stronger than that other person, then train again. Don't use your strength to hurt anyone who is either innocent or just weaker than you so you could just bully them into submission. No. Never do that. Instead, use your strength and power to fight strong people and protect people from bad ones."

Goku then looked up at the window, seeing the stars brightening around the void of space. "Some people and even my friends called me a hero. To be honest I don't really think of myself as that at all. I am one of the protectors of my world, but I sometimes do something just to satisfy my love and passion to fight strong people."

"But that doesn't mean I'll let my loved ones get hurt. No. I will never let anyone hurt the people who are closest to me and that includes other innocent people. My ambition is two things… I fight to save others, my family and closest friends if they are ever been threatened and the other thing; is that I train to fight people who are stronger than me, finding a way to break my limits. That's why I fight. To break my limits to reach new heights to another."

Goku finally finished his thought-provoking speech. "So there you have it!... I hope you guys kinda understand what I was trying to say. Hehe!"

Everyone in that room, especially Padmé, was absolutely stunned by his words about the reason why he fights. She had never thought that this man that she just met from the pod, the man who had the personality of an innocent child who was frightened of needles, had never thought that this man had that kind of ambition, as his motivation. She didn't think that she ever heard of anyone who had ever made that kind of ambition as a fighter. Many soldiers or fighters during the old wars wanted to fight to protect their loved ones while others fought for the glory of battle and for their empire, and others fought to become strong and feel superior and create more wars and suffering for others. Goku's ambition was to become the strongest and break his limits. His ambition was…simple, yet complex. His motivation felt selfish…and yet in a good way, it felt somewhat…admirable.

Padmé remembered what he told her during his time on Namek, fighting people and tyrants like his recent foe, Frieza. She wondered if he fought that person not just because he wanted to protect others, but also just because he wanted to get stronger. Was he that kind of person? What kind of battles has he fought during his time at his home?

"Well…." Ruwee finally said, breaking the silence in the room. "I must say… that's one hell of a reason to fight. I must say I'm still not keen on such violence but knowing you would never use your martial arts skill to hurt other innocents… then you're alright in my book."

"Oh really? Thanks! Hehe!" Goku said, scratching the back of his head. "I thought that sounded kind of selfish."

"It does and at the same time it kinda doesn't." Ruwee said. "But the way you said it, how honest you were of why you loved to fight, making sure that you'll help out others with your skills as a martial arts… I can understand that."

"Normally I wouldn't like that ambition, but as my husband said. I would respect that." Jobal added. "What about you, Padmé? What do you think about it?"

The two middle-aged couples looked at their youngest daughter with curiosity on their faces. It took a few moments before she finally said. "It's… pretty amazing. Really… it does. I can respect that."

Padmé never liked fighting, she always despised violence and she would only use it if necessary. She and her handmaidens had been training in their childhood for any situations that would come to harm them someday. Even then, she believed that violence would only cause more problems than good, but the way Goku said it, his reasons why he does this without harming bystanders or any innocent people. She understood what he was trying to say and she kind of admired him from it in a way.

Sola cleared her throat. "Well this is exciting." she said and everyone looked at her. "She just met him unconscious from a crash space pod and then now that she just started talking to him from early afternoon and then brought this man inside of this house and given everyone including me astounded by his speech. Do you know what this means?"

"What?" Padmé asked, confused by what her older sister was saying as she grabbed one of the mugs and drank it.

"It means… that Goku is the first boyfriend that you ever have in your entire life!" Sola squealed in excitement.

Padmé immediately spits her drinks, coughing out loud. "Sola!" she exclaimed. "He isn't my boyfriend!"

"But he is!" Sola said. "Look at him! A fighter from another galaxy who is probably the nicest fighter I and this family have ever met and you brought him here for dinner! That sounds like boyfriend material to me!"

"No! We just first talked and met like a few hours ago!" Padmé said, rolling her eyes.

"But you found him and helped him get to the medcenter for treatment!" Sola pointed out.

"He was unconscious!"

"But the point still stands."

"How in the gods of Naboo and Force's name and all stars does that even stand?!"

"Now now girls." Ruwee finally said. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. For starters, Padmé look at your new friend right now."

Padmé raised an eyebrow and turned her head around as she looked at Goku and realized her mistake. Goku was completely wet from her sudden spit. "Oh by the stars! Goku, I'm so sorry!"

Goku laughed. "Nah it's fine! Haha! I don't really understand what was happening anyway. Hehe!"

Still feeling guilty about her actions, Padmé got up from her seat. "No no, I really am! Stay right here, Goku! I'll get the towel."

She then quickly went for the towel and went back to the room sitting down on her seat as she helped Goku rub all of the drinks from his face. Padmé noticed her older sister grinning at him.

"See? You and he are like a couple right now." Sola said.

Padmé rolled her eyes. "Oh for Force's sake. How many times do I need to tell you that he is not my boyfriend? And besides, I'm more focused doing my job as a Senator, and from what I remember, he told me that he has a son."

"A son ?" Jobal asked. "You have a son, Goku?"

"Oh yeah! I have a son. His name is Gohan." Goku said.

Sola sighed. "Awww, and here I was hoping you have someone in your life now."

Padmé could only sigh at her sister's antics. She loves her sister but there are times that her teasing is way too much.

"How is your son, Goku? What does he look like?" Jobal asked.

"Oh, yup he's doing alright! He looks just like me and my wife Chi Chi." Goku described his young son. Oh, how proud he truly was when he got stronger.

"You must have a wonderful wife as well." Ruwee said as he drank another water.

"And that wife must be very lucky to have someone like you by her side." Sola added. "Tell me, what kind of woman is she?"

Goku nodded. "Welp, She was a fierce woman, she was the best wife I ever met in my life."

Padmé stared at Goku strangely. Not just her, but her entire family noticed that his expression was…

Goku continued. "She usually screams at me if I did something dumb but she still loves me for who I am…"

"Goku." Padmé called out to him, her voice was gentle.

The Saiyan turned his head towards her. "Yeah?"

Padmé stared at him for a moment and said. "You're eyes."

"My eyes?"

What? What did she mean by that?

Wait… why does my vision look… blurry?...

Why does my eyes feel?...

It didn't take Goku long to understand what she was saying when he finally noticed that his eyes were welled up with hot tears, and leaking down from his cheeks.

"Oh."

Padmé rubbed his back gently and hesitantly asked. "Did… something happened to your wife, Goku?"

"She… passed away by a strange disease two years ago before I went to Namek to save my son and friends…"

"A disease? What kind– Oh, dear forgive me. I shouldn't have pressed it further." Jobal quickly apologized but Goku dismissed it.

"It's alright Mrs. Jobal… I do kinda want to let this out for some time now." He assured the elderly woman.

He continued. "She had a disease called 'Koku Haku'."

"A Koku Haku? What is that?" Sola then asked.

"It's a strange heart disease that only happens rarely. We first thought it was a disease similar to how her mother died, but it was a different case entirely." Goku said. " When the amount of a person's heartbeats in their lifetime is decided when they are born. But a person who has that kind of strange illness will only have fewer heartbeats than everyone else."

The family was horrified to think that such a disease would exist. A person would only have fewer heartbeats and die once it reached its limit was such a sad way to go.

"But… how did you both find out about that disease? Since it doesn't make you weaker or cold like the others." Ruwee asked.

"Well… we found out when Chichi brought me shopping to buy some clothes and one of the student girls had an app that could identify if your heartbeats are higher or not… and that's how we found out."

Goku stared down at the floor, reminiscing the days when he scoured other places to look for a possible cure but there was none.

"The doctor said that I shouldn't let my wife do anything that would exert her heart or she would die sooner than we expected, but my wife wanted us to have a lot of fun instead of lying on her bed for the rest of her life. And so we did., My son, my wife, and I went to lots of places, going out fishing, racing a car, trying to get me a driver's license, and spending time with our friends. We had lots of fun.

He smiled. Knowing that his wife had so much fun along with their son. "It was really fun… and less than a year later… she passed away with a smile on her face."

The family looked at him in growing sadness with empathy and sympathy.

"I'm so sorry that had to happen, Goku…truly." Padmé said.

"My condolence, Goku. I could only hope that your late wife rests well up there" Sola said. She felt guilty for making Goku remember his late wife even if she hadn't known of it until now.

"I'm sure she is. I know it." Goku said with a light smile. "I'm sorry that I got emotional, guys."

"Oh hush now, Mr. Son." Jobal said. "There is no shame in feeling such a way for your loved ones."

Goku smiled again. "Aw… thanks, Mrs. Jobal. I'm just happy that she had a lot of fun before her time came."

While they were talking, Padmé was staring down at her now empty plate. Her thoughts ran around her head. She dreamt that someday after her duty as a Senator, she could live freely and have a loving husband by her side until she finally passed. But then, there were always those scenarios… what if her future husband died much earlier, either by disease or worse, getting murdered by one of the vilest people? Her heart would have torn apart if that ever happened. Especially if she fell in love with someone during her time as a senator. She had experienced assassination before, and surely it won't stop now.

"Alright now everyone, it's getting late and I believe it's time for us to get to bed. Me and my dear husband will clean the dishes before doing so." Jobal told them, standing up from her seat.

"I'll help too." Sola volunteered without hesitation. "Children, it's time to go to bed."

Her children grouched and both said. "But, mom…"

"No buts." She said and gestured towards their room upstairs. "Come on, it's time to go."

It took a moment before the children finally gave up and headed back into their rooms but not before saying good night to Goku and Padmé, and that they went upstairs.

"Meanwhile, I'll have to take Goku to an apartment for him to stay, and sleep." Padmé said.

"Oh? How about we just let him sleep here upstairs." Jobal said. "There is a vacant room that hasn't been used for some time."

"Would that be alright, Ma'am? I tend to snore really loud." Goku said.

"Nonsense. My husband snores a lot and I've gotten used to that." Jobal assured him.

"Well, if it's alright with you then… thanks!" Goku bowed in respect.

Sola grabbed Goku's arm. "Come, Goku. Let me help you find that room."

"Okie, Mrs. Sola."

"Just call me, Sola." She assured the Saiyan. "You're a good person in my book."

When the two of them went upstairs, Padmè decided to help out her parents with the dishes.

As she did so, her mind dwell on what transpired with her unique guest from possibly another galaxy. His wife died of disease and it saddened the young senator and she wondered…

Would she be ready to settle for that kind of relationship?

Would she be ready to handle the loss of her future love? Or worse the death of her child?

Would she be able to have someone in her life at all?

Her almost unending time as a senator would surely make her time with her future love almost seem… impossible.

"You shouldn't dwell on those kinds of thoughts, my dear daughter."

Padme turned towards her mother who was looking at her for some time.

She continued. "Making those kinds of scenarios that have yet to happen would only make things worse for you."

Padmè sighed with a slight nod. "I'm just not sure if I can handle that kind of relationship, mom."

Jobal nodded with understanding. "I know, you don't need to have that right now but it does happen naturally without even noticing. It happened with me and your father."

"It's just that– there's so much to do– The Republic getting divided. There are just so many things that I have to do. For everyone in the galaxy, not just Naboo. Not to mention I have to go to Coruscant tomorrow morning for the vote." Padmè said. She slouched down on the dining chair. "I don't think I'm ready for that kind of relationship. Not while there's so much happening."

Jobal put her hand on her daughter's right shoulder gently. "Like I said, you don't have to find someone right away but it will happen eventually and dwelling on that kind of negative thought would cause more problems for you than it is. The question is… will you finally take it?"

Padmè couldn't answer that. That was the question, Would she be able to settle in with that kind of life?

Only the stars, and perhaps the force can tell.

"And here we are."

Sola gestured to Goku's temporary room. It was an average size, it had a large yellowish carpet on the concrete floor. The white bed was next on the window that it seemed could only fit one person only. Outside the window, Goku could see the Palace of Naboo and its the cities yellowish lights.

"Oooh wow, thank you again, Sola. I really appreciate it." Goku was happy that there was a place he could stay in this new world he crashed in.

"You're much welcome, Goku. Make yourself at home." Sola happily said with a wave of her hand. "Now would you excuse me, but its time for me to head back with my children."

"Ooh, okay. Thanks again for the dinner and here. Have a good night's sleep!" Goku said with a large smile on his face.

"Good night, Goku." Sola said before she left the room, closing the door.

Goku sat down on the white bed as he pondered on what to do next.

His mind now dwelled on his son, Gohan. He hoped that he would be alright while he was gone. He doesn't know how long he'll be here in this galaxy, but hopefully he get to reunited with him soon.

His thoughts were interrupted when he heard a knock on the door. "Ooh, come in!"

The door opened and he saw Senator Padmè peeking from the door. "Hello, Goku."

"Oh, hi Senator Padmè." Goku greeted her back.

She stepped inside the room. "How's the room? I hope you find yourself comfortable here."

"Ooh, its great! This is a good place for me to sleep." Goku assured.

"I'm happy to hear that. Truly." Padmè smiled and continued. "I would also like to let you know that we'll be able to leave Coruscant in the morning."

"Oh, that's awesome. How long does it take to get there actually?"

"It's around 7 days. We'll be using a private ship." Padmè said.

"Sheesh, that's far."

"Well, Coruscant is on the Core World of our Galaxy, if there's a way to make it faster, it'll be better."

"I suppose so." Goku said. He hoped that he could do some mental training during the trip.

"Goku, Can I ask you something… personal?" Padmè hesitantly asked. "You can say no if you don't like to

"Sure. What is it?"

"Would… your son be alright? You told us that your late wife passed away two years ago. I'm not sure how Gohan would handle the fact that his only family would also be gone for possibly a long time. If the Jedi can't find a way to get you back."

Goku widened his eyes, she was thinking the same thing that he was thinking earlier. He smiled softly at the young Senator. "He's definitely going to miss me. I think he would know that I'm still alive. He's also a strong kid. He'll be doing alright while I'm gone. He's going to stay around with my friends for the time being and I can only hope that they'll be safe."

Padmè slowly nodded in understanding. "I see. I hope so too… I'll have to go now. I have a lot of things to do before we head out tomorrow."

"Oh, well I hope you get some sleep despite having a lot of work to do. It'll help you relieve some stress." Goku advised.

"I know, Goku. I'll take some sleep later." Padmè assured the Saiyan, she then stepped back to the door.

"Oh, by the way. Thanks again for the lunch and dinner, Senator." Goku said. He turned his mouth into a big smile. "I had a fun time in this world, thanks to you."

Padmè smiled genuinely at him. "And thank you too for meeting you and giving me the chance to tour you in my world."

"Hehe, no problem. Don't forget that when you get some free time. Lets spar! You'll learn a thing or two from me." Goku said with a thumbs up.

"Hehe… I'll let you know for sure. Goodnight, Goku."

"Goodnight, Senator." Goku said, waving a hand.

Before she left, she turned towards Goku once more. "One more thing, Goku."

"Yeah?"

"You can just call me Padmè." She said with a smile to her newfound friend from another galaxy.

In the world of Coruscant, in the world where lies trillions of people.

There also lies the Jedi Order that had stood with the Old Republic for a thousand years.

Where there is the Jedi Order, there also lies their temple.

The Great Jedi Temple.

Their temple was a massive structure. Its five spires towered its large block.

At first glance, it would appear to be a great fortress but it was a gentle and elegant structure.

In design, the structures and the spires of the temple were a symbol of their order.

It was a place where they meditate.

It was a place where they lived in peace.

It was a place where they studied the fundamental natures of the Force.

The Force.

The Force is everywhere, and nowhere.

The Force is where it binds life itself, its galaxy, and possibly the entire universe itself.

The Force was viewed in many aspects but it was widely known in the old and the present in two ways.

The Light and Dark.

The Light side, the one which the Jedi Order aligned itself with, was aligned with compassion, selflessness, self-knowledge, enlightenment, healing, mercy, and benevolence.

And there is the Dark Side of the Force. The polar opposite of the light, the true enemy of the Jedi Order. The one where it was always used by the Sith.

Unlike the Light, it was aligned with hatred, contempt, aggression, fear, jealousy, and malevolence.

The Jedi had survived their millennia of war against the Sith, and they would make sure that they would do so again when they rose from the darkness.

In one of the private chambers in the temple, there lies an old yet wise grandmaster of the Jedi Order, Yoda.

He meditated with peace, and focus.

He meditated to know the future that would transpire.

The Republic was losing its control.

Many races and citizens broke themselves away from the Old Republic and formed their own government, the Separatist and was commanded by his former Padawan.

Count Dooku.

Oh, how much it pained him that this old former padawan had turned against the Republic. In a way, he understood why but still it pained him.

While neither side had yet to give a violent reaction, the tensions between them were rising, and once they broke. Chaos will surround the galaxy.

He meditated. Finding ways to avoid such a conflict.

But no matter how much he tried, his vision, the force itself was surrounded by darkness.

It made the old Grandmaster blind from seeing what would happen.

He ended his meditation, he felt a familiar presence coming towards his private chamber.

"Enter." The Grandmaster said.

The door slid open, and a High Councillor Jedi Master strode inside his chamber.

He was a strong build dark-skinned Korun man, he had no hair around his head. He was widely respected in the Jedi's eyes despite his demeanor.

"Master Windu." Yoda greeted.

"Master Yoda." Mace Windu bowed as he knelt on his two knees on the circular pillow.

"Trouble, I sense inside of your mind." Yoda said.

Mace Windu sighed. "The Voting for creating the army of the Republic will soon begin in a few days, and I'm uncertain whether the Chancellor could hold the people from voting it for much longer."

"Hmm… uncertain, our future will bring." Yoda said. "Darkness filled my vision towards a better path."

"What must we do, Master? If it does escalate into a civil war, we can only do so much. We are the Keepers of the Peace, and we are not soldiers for the Republic."

"Only trust the will of the force, we must." Yoda assured his friend. "Dwell in such thoughts, we must not."

"I understand, Master. We could only trust the Force's will and hope to guide us in this state we currently have." Mace Windu agreed.

His demeanor turned into a dark one. "But what about what happened that night ago, Master?"

Yoda closed his eyes. There was something that happened in the force. It was so sudden.

He felt as if the force was screaming. It was as if it was violated by something.

He remembered while he was meditating and when that happened, it broke him out of his meditation in pain.

He does wonder. What made the Force react in such a way?

Was it the Sith? Did they rise from their darkness within and find a way to eliminate the Jedi Order?

Have they come to strike back soon?

No… it was something else.

Something that made the Force react in a violent state.

"It is uncertain, I can only say." Yoda finally said. "It is the Sith, I do not believe."

The High Councillor Jedi pondered in his thoughts and said. "Do you think… that there may be a new enemy? An enemy that could bring destruction not just to the galaxy, but the force itself?"

Yoda hummed for a moment. "It is uncertain, like I said."

The Grandmaster gazed into the starry skies of the night.

"In time, it will tell."

Goku woke up.

He gazed at the window of his room. The yellowish rays from the sunshine throughout the room. The city of Naboo filled again with the noises of her people.

He yawned, stretching his arms upward.

Today was the day he and Padmè would go to Coruscant.

He wondered what that world would be like. Padmè said it was the core world of the Republic. Perhaps it would be a bigger city than this? He hoped that he could easily manage the map there on his own if there was a problematic situation. Despite his amazing sense of ki, this galaxy was straight-up weird in a way. Was that the force Padmè was talking about?

"Goku, it's time for you to go, you don't want to be late."

Goku heard Sola's voice from the other side of the room.

"I'm up!"

He opened the door and saw Sola in a different dress.

"Someone is waiting for you outside of our house." She said.

"Oh, who would that be?" Goku asked.

"One of Padmè's closest friend." Sola only said as she walked down the stairs and Goku followed along.

Heading downstairs, Sola opened the main door of the house and saw a young woman who looked just like Padmè.

"Mr. Son."

"Oh, you must be the one with Padmè back at the medcenter." Goku realized. "Um… what's your name again? Hehe."

"Sabè. Just Sabè." She said with a neutral tone. "I am one of her handmaidens. A pleasure to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too, Sabè!" Goku greeted her back with his usual smile.

Sabè looked at him from top to bottom, analyzing his physiques. "Senator Padmè will be waiting for you on the Space Port, I'll lead you there."

Goku nodded understandingly. "Oh, okay."

He turned towards Sola. "Welp, I guess it's goodbye for now."

Sola nodded. "Shame you couldn't stay any longer but I wish you safe travels to Coruscant. Just follow Sabè, and my sister's lead and you'll be alright."

"Gotcha."

"Oh, Goku before you leave!"

The Saiyan found the two elderly couples walking towards him. Jobal gave him a paper bag filled with food.

"You can eat those during your trip to Coruscant." Jobal said.

"Aww, gee, thanks Mrs. Jobal. I'll definitely enjoy eating your amazing foods there." Goku said happily.

"And share some for others too, including Padmè." Ruwee said.

"I will, don't worry!" Goku assured the elderly couples.

"It's time, Goku." Sabè said as she went towards her land speeder.

He nodded and waved his hands as a goodbye gesture to Padmè's family.

"Welp, see ya guys!"

"Take care, Goku! Watch Padmè for us!" Sola said.

The Saiyan and the handmaiden went on their way to the Space Port. Goku stared at Sabè a bit. At first glance, she definitely looked like Padmè. But looking more closely, he can see some difference like she was a bit taller than her, her cheekbones were a bit different compared to the Senator.

"You're staring at me, Goku." Sabè pointed out but her voice filled with no discomfort.

"Oops. Sorry, Sabè." Goku apologized quickly. "It's just that you look just like Padmè… are you her long-lost twin sister?"

"I see that she let you call her first name instead of being formal. As for what you just said, no. I'm not her sister. We just look alike that's all, and it's good because I can be her double if anything bad were to happen."

"Anything bad happening? What do you mean?" He asked. Curiosity filled in his voice.

"She's a senator and not just a senator, She's the one helping out other people on different worlds throughout the galaxy in whatever she could." She explained.

"But what's something bad that would happen?"

"There are some others who dislike her selfless actions and hired Bounty Hunters to kill her so they can do their own business." She finished jer explanation.

"Eh? Why would they wanna kill her off if she's just helping others?"

"Because some of them enjoy those atrocious things to others. For example, the Zygerian empire was ruled by tormenting their slaves and doing their own work such as building their monuments, cities, and ships. And then there's the Hutt Empire in the Outer Rim, they also have their own slaves to do their bidding."

Goku was disgusted when she explained to him about the other worlds. He couldn't understand why these people relish those kinds of atrocities.

"I don't understand. Why would they enjoy those kinds of stuff?" Goku asked with a hint of disgust.

"It's just what they are. Or it's just what they know their entire life." Sabè said. She truly hates the fact that the Republic would let such things happen in the Galaxy. Couldn't someone force them to change? Bring Order?

She prayed that someday the Republic would improve. She hoped that the Chancellor could do something about it but nothing happened yet and she doubted that it would improve anytime soon, especially since the tension between the Confederacy of Independence and the Republic would soon break if someone didn't stop it soon.

"We're here, Goku."

Goku saw a plain concrete field, there he saw a lot of ships, some starting to land while some flew away to travel somewhere around any worlds of the galaxy.

The two dropped off from the land speeder and Sabè guided him towards the specific ship that he would be in.

What Goku found was a large ship that looked like a boomerang. The hulls of it almost looked like a mirror, he could see a reflection of himself from it and the entire Space Port itself as the hull itself glowed.

"Woah… so shiny." Goku said in amazement.

"Agreed. Come on. Let's get you inside."

As the two went inside, Goku was amazed that the interior of it was beautifully aesthetic. There, he saw a few guards who eyed him suspiciously but kept their distance, trusting the handmaiden. Lastly, he saw a young woman in a dress who seemed to almost look like Padmè but unlike Sabè, she looked a bit more different.

"Hello, Mr. Son. It's a pleasure to meet a fellow neighbor from another galaxy." The young woman greeted the Saiyan.

"This is Cordè, Goku. She is also one of the handmaidens." Sabè introduced to one of her fellow handmaidens and closest friends.

"Oh, wow. It's nice to meet you too, miss." Goku bowed down in greeting and looked around. "Where's Padmè though? You told me she'd be at the Space Port."

"I am."

A familiar voice called out. He turned his head to see Senator Padmè and a dark-skinned man with short curly hair and an eye patch around his left eye. Both wore a dark grayish vest, with red tight pants. Beneath the vest, they also wore brown long sleeves and dark boots.

"There you are!" Goku said. "I was wondering where you've been. I thought I was the one who was late."

Padmè shook her head. "No, I've been here for some time now."

She turned her head towards one of her decoys. "Cordè, guide Goku whatever you can here if he needs assistance. It'll be a while before we get to Coruscant."

"Yes, Milady." Cordè bowed in understanding.

"What about you, Padmè? Aren't you staying in this ship?" Goku asked in confusion.

This time the man besides the Senator stepped in, answering the Saiyan. "No, Mr. Son. She would be piloting in one of our starfighters."

"And adding the fact that she is a Senator, there's always a high chance that someone will try to assassinate her." He added.

Goku slowly nodded in understanding. "Oh, I guess I can understand that… what's your name actually?"

"Captain Typho, Captain of the Royal Naboo Guards and personal bodyguard of Senator Padmè." He introduced himself. "And while it is fine for the handmaidens, and the Senator to let you call them their first names. I hope you respect my decision for you to call me Captain as a formality."

"I understand, Typho— I mean–Captain." Goku stuttered, rephrasing his words for the Royal Captain of Naboo Guard.

Captain Typho nodded and turned towards Padmè. "Senator, it is time to go."

"I'll be there shortly." She said.

He nodded as he went on his way to his starfighter.

"I have to go now too. I have other things that are important that I couldn't ignore. You know where to find me, Milady." Sabè said.

"Likewise. Take care of yourself okay, Sabè?" Padmè replied and Sabè nodded to both her and Goku and finally stepped off from the ship.

"Goku, if you need something, my friend, Cordè, will help you out with the basics."

The Saiyan nodded. "Okay. And oh! Your parents want you to have some snacks during the trip."

He handed the snacks to the Senator and she happily took it. "Thank you, Goku. We'll have to go now."

"Gotcha. Have a safe travel with your starfighter thingy."

Padmè held out a smile towards the Saiyan. "And may the force be with you."

While Goku doesn't understand what that meant but assumed it was a good luck charm. She left the Yacht starship and the ramp made a noise as it started to close slowly.

Once it was closed, Goku could hear the sound of the engine roaring to life. He could feel the vibration of its ship. It was preparing for take off.

"Come with me, Goku. I don't think you would like to miss this." Corde said striding to the cockpit with Goku followed suit.

Entering the cockpit, he could see two pilots touching the controls.

"This is the pilot of the Senator's Royal Cruiser. We are preparing for lift-off."

A voice from the communicator called out. "Copy. Safe travels."

The large Naboo Royal Star Cruiser lifted from the ground and slowly soared towards the sky. Goku noticed three distinct yellow starfighters also lifted following the Cruiser in patterns.

From here, he could sense Padmé's energy signature in one of those starfighters.

The four ships skimmed past the city of Naboo as it went upper until it reached the end of the atmosphere.

Goku finally saw the world he crashed in. The world where Padmè found him.

It was beautiful.

"You haven't experienced hyperspace before, correct?" Cordè asked.

"Um, nope." He answered.

She smiled and turned at the window of the cockpit. "Well, you're in for a treat, Goku. Just keep looking outside the window and you'll see what I mean."

Goku just nodded as he continued staring at the window's cockpit.

"All ships. Preparing for hyperspace on a three-second countdown." The pilot said and held his hand at one of the specific controls.

"3."

"2."

"1."

"Mark."

Goku's eyes widened as he could see the black void of space and stars turned into a blue elongated line towards the center of the cockpit.

He could no longer feel the ki from the people of Naboo as he felt like he was now on a different plane of dimension. He could sense so many things. So much happening. Such speed.

Cordè had a fun time seeing the Saiyan's reaction towards this.

"This is a hyperspace."

He felt a presence.

He felt the force scream once more.

The Dark Lord of the Sith once again stood from his seat.

Again he was distracted by another disturbance in the force.

He felt a presence.

It was in this galaxy.

And it was getting closer.

Getting closer to Coruscant.

Getting closer to his domain.

How could that be? Did this unknown entity know his existence already? Or was it by chance that it wanted to explore the Core Region of the Republic?

Again he could not answer, and it frustrated him to no end.

But he had to be patient. He would not lash out like a wild animal. He had to know how large the threat of such presence would be.

Patience is a virtue.

He would soon find out.

During the trip to Coruscant. Inside the Royal Naboo Star Cruiser. There was an event transpiring inside of it.

The Royal Naboo guards had to scold Goku countless times as they and the handmaiden Cordè now experienced the hunger from the Saiyan.

"What the kriff did I just say?! Don't eat the whole stock!" One of the Royal guards shouted towards the Saiyan.

"But I'm really hungry. We only get to eat a few bits." Goku whined.

"Few bits?! Do you call eating almost a whole pack a day of food a bit?! Are you mad?!" Another royal guard stepped in. The man was shocked that this kind of person existed in this universe. Does his people from his home galaxy also have this kind of hunger? If so, did they have unlimited food resources? Food coming out from the ground twice than how they did in their own galaxy?

"Guys. Are you sure he ain't a Gundark? Or possibly a kriffing Rancor?!" One of the pilots said. Just theorizing that this 'Son Goku' character must be a beast in disguise. Little did he know that Padmé was also wondering the same thing few days ago on Naboo.

"Okay. Okay, guys settle down." Cordè tried to calm down her fellow royal guards but even she wondered the limits of Goku's hunger. She reminisced about that time when Padmè specifically asked to bring a lot food as they can for emergencies. It was a strange request until she too realized why she made that request.

"Goku, we'll be there on Coruscant in four more days. And you gotta save some for us here. We might starve to death if we ran out of food." Cordè reasoned with the Saiyan Warrior.

Goku just sighed. Understanding the consequences if he wipes out all food from the storage.

"Okay. Sorry again guys. Hehe." He apologized to them sincerely.

Cordè sighed in relief. "It's fine, Goku. I'm just glad you managed to control yourself."

"For now." One of the guards murmured but immediately shut his mouth when Cordè eyed him in a scolding manner.

"So I was wondering something, Cordè. Why did you take this job as a handmaiden?" He asked.

"Oh? It's my duty to serve Padmè until the end." Cordè said honestly.

"But since you guys are to step in whenever Padmè is going to be in harm's way. Wouldn't she… You know hate the fact that you and the other handmaidens like Sabè might get hurt?"

Cordè smiled sadly. "It's true. She does hate those kinds of situations happening especially when the time comes we might die in one of these missions… but we are willing to protect our Senator and our sister even if it means taking our life away."

Goku understood what she meant. He had done the same thing when he sacrificed his life to save his son, Gohan from imminent death by his 'brother' Raditz.

But still, he doesn't like it when he sees good people die around him. He may never be a hero and he doesn't like to be or at least he never sees himself that way, he would still help whatever he can to save others from anyone who is willing to hurt others without reason.

Inside of one the Naboo starfighters, Padmè was eating the snacks that her parents gave to Goku for them to eat during the trip.

It will be a while before she gets back to her home to spend time with her family again.

She missed them already.

"Is it wise for us to trust this stranger?"

She heard a voice called out from the comms. It was Captain Typho.

"I don't think he's the kind of person who would trick us." Padmè said, still eating one of her bread.

"Looks can be deceiving, milady." Captain Typho pointed out.

"If there's anything that he may be deceiving is probably the food." Padmè made sure that a lot of food would be in storage before they took off.

"Probably. But we must be vigilant." He replied. "You've only met him in a day excluding the trip. He shouldn't have been in that cruiser in the first place."

"He comes from another galaxy, Captain." Padmè defended. "He doesn't even know what a hyperspace is, not to mention the Galactic Republic and much of its history."

It was silent for some time until he said. "I understand. I still don't trust him, Milady."

Padmè sighed. "Perhaps not now. But I'm sure you would trust him in time."

Three days have passed, and an hour left before they reached Coruscant.

Goku was sitting on the floor in his temporary cabin with his eyes closed.

The Royal Guard including Cordè checked him from time to time. He hadn't moved from that spot for almost two days now.

It definitely gave the guards, and the pilots themselves an opportunity to eat whatever they could before the Martial Arts fighter woke up from his slumber.

Cordè wondered if Goku was a force user or a Jedi and if that were the case, was there also another Jedi Order in his galaxy?

The way he meditates seems like he was a Jedi. But Padmè pointed out during her call in the comms that he doesn't know anything about a Jedi at all or any Force User.

Perhaps similar to a force user? She might never know since this trip may be the only time for her and Padmè to spend time with Goku because he would have to be sent to the Jedi Order to help him find his way home.

She heard a beep from her comms. It was time.

The four Naboo ships skimmed past the skyscrapers of Coruscant, weaving in and out of the huge metallic structures.

One of the starfighters led the procession. Veering around and about nearly every passing tower, running point for the Naboo Royal Cruiser. Behind the large cruiser, the other two starfighters ran swiftly and close to the Royal cruiser, shielding her. The lead starfighter avoided the heavy traffic routes of the great city itself, there may be a possible threat that will come from any thousand ordinary vehicles.

While Coruscant was a sight to behold with its unending structures, its corruption stretched throughout her world and it was uncertain whether any of these citizens might be a potential threat to Senator Amidala.

The lead fighter circled around the landing platform and flew past to one of the large structures, the Senatorial Building, adjacent to the landing platform. The fighter's pilot, Corporal Dolphe who was a tough warrior who referred his Senator greatly kept his starfighter up, circling back and forth to see if there was anyone who would try to assassinate the Senator.

Meanwhile, the two starfighters who were piloted by Captain Typho and Senator Padmè Amidala also circled around the landing pad before finally hovering down on the main platform.

The two of them threw back their respective canopies and climbed down from their cockpits. Alongside them, there were two astromech droids that also went down from their respective starfighters, one of them belonged to Padmè Amidala and had saved her and the two Jedi Knights long ago during the blockade of Naboo, R2-D2.

It beeped to its owner, Padmè telling her that no threat had been found there. Captain Typho agreeing with the astromech droid, took off his helmet with a sigh of relief.

"We made it." Typho said as Padmè now stood beside him looking at the Royal Star Cruiser hovering down gently on the landing platform. "I guess I was wrong after all. There was no danger."

Padmè still looked at the Cruiser with uncertainty in her eyes. "There's always danger, Captain… Sometimes we're just lucky enough."

Or hope that luck was on their side.

The cruiser's ramp started to lower down gently. The three Royal guards appeared all of them alert and readying their blasters in case of any sign of trouble happening. She finally saw Cordè who wore Senator Naboo clothing that she used to wear at times. She stepped down from the ramp with elegant grace.

And at last, she found Goku walking right behind her decoy who was looking around in complete awe.

She truly hoped nothing would go wrong.

She prayed to every god and star that nothing would make things worse for her.

And then a bright light flashed before her ever eyes.

An explosion roared as she, the Captain, and any others who were near the blast fell onto the ground from violent shockwaves emitting from the explosions.

She opened her eyes.

Everything around her was slow. Time moved slowly from her perspective.

She saw a couple of astromech droids scattered on the ground.

Everything was wrong.

No.

She could hear the Captain scream in horror.

Everything was on fire.

No.

No.

Trying to fight off the disorientation, she managed to stand up from the ground.

Chaos.

Chaos is all that she could see.

No.

No.

No.

She turned her head to see…

No.

No.

No.

No.

What she saw was the remains of the Royal Naboo Star Cruiser burned brightly. Its flames were touching the sky as if souls were moving on to the afterlife.

"Captain! Get help immediately!"

She ordered the Captain but he wasn't moving.

What was wrong with him? Was he still in shock?

"Captain!"

She tried calling out to him again. He still wasn't moving.

"Captain! Control yourself! We need to get medical assistance immediately!"

"Senator… Look up." He only said.

She finally noticed that his eyes weren't pointing at the burning wreckage of the Cruiser, instead, he was staring above from it.

When she turned her head high…

Her eyes widened in disbelief.

Is she seeing what she is seeing?

Has her eyes deceived her?

Has she finally lost it?

Above the burning wreckage, she found a man carrying three guards, one from his back, the second guard holding his arm in firm while the last guard was holding onto his fellow guard's boots.

And then she found Cordè under the arms of that man, she was also in shock at what was happening around her.

And then there's the man.

The man who had saved her handmaiden, her friend, her guards.

The white flames surrounded him and the other four as if it were a shield.

She kept staring at the man hovering above carrying the four people as if…

… As if he was an angel.

And his white flames were his wings to shield the people he saved.

And that angel descended down from the sky like from heaven to the mortal realm.

And that angel could only be…

"Goku?..."

TADAAAAA IT IS DONE AND AT LONG LAST THEY FINALLY SAW ONE OF GOKU'S POWER...

I don't wanna spoil much but since this is now the official start of Episode 2, I will definitely have a lot more fun writing the next chapters.

Til we meet again guys! I really hope you enjoy this new chapter and again apologize if I screw up with my grammar and spelling :' D
