Worries & conversation's

Hello again, really quickly since some readers may not know this. In fate timelines Zeltretch is not a dead apostle, he has instead discovered immortality it's only in Tsukihime timelines he's a dead apostle. Anyways here's the chapter.

Waver's office, Clock Tower, London, Wednesday, November 9th, 2000

"Alexander, what do you mean that's one of his noble phantasms?" Luvia asks concerned. To which Waver nodding says, "Exactly as it sounds, I've seen both his noble phantasm's firsthand." Alexander scoffing says, "He has three."

"I see..." Waver says his eyes gaining a far-off look. "So other than Gilgamesh, wanting to meet me, can you think of anything else that might help?" Alexander asks, drawing Waver away from his thoughts. Shaking his head, he says "I'm not the same man he knew, I'm afraid I cannot help you."

Luvia nodding says, "Very well, thank you for your time professor, we'll be off." before getting up and leaving followed by Alexander, after picking up Avenger's card. Turning around to him she asks, "Have you thought of anything else that might help your investigation?"

"Not really, there's not much I can think of." he says racking his brain for what to do. "Well, I do possess an idea but it's rather... unpleasant." Luvia says, grimacing slightly. "Well, I have your help for about a few weeks, before you go back, so as long as it's not sacrificing orphan's I'm game." Alexander remarks.

"To put it bluntly, we need to sleep together." Luvia says quickly, causing Alexander to tilt his head and let out a confused "Huh?" elaborating she says, "About the reaction I expected, by sleep I mean actual sleep, I believe I may be able to allow us to share dreams, letting us both witness Avenger's life."

His confusion fading away Alexander says, "And I assume that would require us in close proximity?" nodding Luvia says, "Yes likely in the same room at the very least."

"Okay, how are you going to go about sharing our dreams?" he asks to which Luvia responds. "There are a few scrying mage-crafts that could be applied to dreams, not much of a reason to do so. However, it should be possible. I do not suppose there are any runes that may help?"

Alexander taking a second to think before responding with. "Kenaz, Wunjo, Algiz, Mannaz, and Laguz, off the top of my head." Luvia taking a second to stare at Alexander before sighing "Out of those which do you think would work the best?"

"Wunjo, Mannaz, and Laguz." he says causing Luvia to nod. "How much time would it take for you to carve those runes on a headboard?" Alexander taking a moment to think says "About a half hour to carve, few minutes to apply."

"Very well, I shall refamiliarize myself with those scrying mage-crafts, shall we reconvene at my dorm?" she asks, getting a nod in response. Alexander turning to walk away stops at the bend of a corner as the familiar taste of crystal and prana.

"Hello Zeltretch." Alexander says before the older man turns the corner. "Ah, Alexander good come with me." he says walking past Alexander. Alexander, knowing better than to dawdle follows Zeltretch immediately.

"Zeltretch what's this about?" he asks the older man his face settling into a frown. "Simple we are to have a discussion with the Policies department on when your tribunal will take place." Alexander freezing for a second before sighing and saying, "Is this because of Avenger?"

"What would going through the rather arbitrary and unnecessary steps of dismissing a Sealing Designation request, have to do with you quite foolishly doing the one thing I made very clear that you shouldn't do." he says strained smile on his face.

Alexander just stays quiet as Zeltretch leads him to the Policies department. Ushering him in Zeltretch sits across from another magus who tenses visibly at seeing the wizard marshal. "H-Hello sir what brings you here?" he asks stuttering slightly.

"I am here to confirm my enforcers tribunal date." he says gesturing to Alexander before continuing with "I do believe it's scheduled for the nineteenth." the magus confused starts "Um, sir? Lady Barthomeloi said-the twentieth would work better." before switching his tone at Zeltretch's slight look.

"Very well, twentieth it is, come along Alexander." he says before getting up quickly followed by Alexander. Zeltretch leading the two down the halls of the clock tower stop suddenly causing Alexander to ask "Um, Zeltretch why are we stopping here?"

"Simple, I need to retrieve something, wait here." he says before entering the door to his left. After a little while of waiting Zeltretch exits the door and hands Alexander a long case he didn't have before. "What's this?" Alexander asks, holding the case at his side.

"You do not have to worry about it, for now, follow me." he says before heading towards his office. Ushering Alexander in Zeltretch sits behind his desk as Alexander places the case on his desk. "Is there something you wish to ask?" Zeltretch asks.

"It's just, if Avenger is the other me, that would mean you know him." Alexander states looking towards the magician. Nodding Zeltretch says "Yes, I would. And no, I was not aware of Avenger's identity, but I can save you the trouble of guessing."

Reaching towards the case he flips the locks and opens it reveling a slightly tarnished, Garand, in disrepair. Alexander reaching towards the rifle instinctively as he lets out "Is this?" Zeltretch shutting the case says, "I was going to ask if this was the rifle you had when installing Avenger, but from your reaction I can see I won't need to."

"Then can you tell me what happened to him. What made him Avenger?" Alexander asks, pulling his hand back from the case. Zeltretch putting his hands together and leaning forwards says, "I will not." Alexander, surprised, shoots his gaze back towards the magician. "Why not?"

"Alexander, I'm sure you know the answer to that already." Zeltretch says pushing his chair back. Sighing he says "Because he told you not to." to which Zeltretch gives a small nod and slight smile. "Alright, I won't ask you about his life. But what about the rifle, I'm assuming it's the D-Plus Artificial Phantasm he made?"

"Indeed, Gray Morality, one of the few things I helped him make. Though as it is now, it's far surpassed his work." Zeltretch says pouring himself a glass of some amber drink. Sighing, Alexander mutters to himself "Why was his naming sense so embarrassing?"

Line break, Alexander's home, London, Nine days till Alexander's tribunal, Friday November 11th, 2000

At a table covered with a large number of books and research papers sit Alexander and Luvia. Currently the two are looking over a few different designs for the dream scrying. "Okay these two could work, this one's runes are too disconnected to work together." Alexander says before crumpling up one of the designs.

"I'm unsure about those two, we would still have to find a way to target which dream we want to scry." Luvia says looking through the remaining designs. "Yeah, about that, are you sure this'll work?" Alexander asks, looking up to Luvia.

Not moving her gaze from the papers, she answers. "Yes, how do you think the dream cycle in the Heaven's feel works in the first place." shrugging Alexander says, "I might have a paper about that around here, but I'm guessing it doesn't involve runes."

"I agree, though I do admit I'm a bit concerned about you knowing Mannaz." she says semi-jokingly. "Relax I'm not going to go mind controlling anyone." he says waving her statement off. "I'm aware of that, Oh I figured it out." Luvia says excitedly.

"The ritual, or the targeting?" Alexander asks. "The targeting, I'll just need a two Neckleses, and you to mark Kenaz on one, and Enwaz on the other." She relays getting out of her chair before going downstairs to use Alexander's landline.

Alexander unholstering his pistol, starts looking it over doing basic checks to pass the time, till eventually Luvia comes back into the room. "An automotive is coming by to drop off some Neckleses, why are you doing that with one hand?" she asks pointing out Alexanders limp left arm.

"I'm going to add I forgot I had a left arm to the list." Alexander says moving his arm around to make sure there's nothing wrong with it before he takes a small book out and quickly jolts something down. "How long till they get here?" he asks receiving a "Shouldn't be more than an hour." from Luvia in reply.

"Okay, should I start on dinner?" Alexander asks, getting a slight nod in response. "I'm thinking chicken and potato soup." he says getting a small nod "Sounds... Great." she says as Alexander pushes out of his chair and heads downstairs, picking up Avenger's case from the table along the way.

Entering the kitchen and grabbing all the necessary ingredients for dinner, he starts prepping the kitchen in order to start cooking as Luvia, having taken a book from upstairs, continues researching. They continue to work in silence like this till Alexander says, "Luvia your car's arrived." having sense their arrival through the bounded field.

Nodding Luvia gets up and leaves the room, heading outside to receive the gems she requested. Coming back inside she heads up the stairs and leaves the box on the table in the library, before heading back downstairs, and into the kitchen.

Sitting down and keeping her book closed Luvia turns her eyes to Alexander and asks "So Alexander, do you have any plans for over the term break?" Alexander not taking his eyes off his cooking answers with "Who knows maybe I'll swim the English Channel." he says jokingly before continuing "But in all honesty not really, that whole thing with Gilgamesh kind of killed my desire to travel. Maybe I'll go see if there's any targets I could take out. Practice rune craft maybe?"

Nodding Luvia says, "If you find yourself in Finland, you are more than welcome to pay visit to my homestead." Alexander nodding asks, "Yeah maybe, what about you have any plans?" Luvia taking a moment to think responds with "I'm not entirely sure I'm sure Marjatta will wish to hear stories of my time in the Mage's association."

"If you mention me, maybe you shouldn't talk about me pulling a gun on professors." Alexander says turning his attention towards Luvia wincing at her deadpan glare. "Alexander that has happened four times in the last week alone. If you do not wish for me to speak about it, perhaps you should not be so paranoid."

"I kept my finger off the trigger every time." Alexander says defensively going back to his cooking as Luvia sighing says "Alexander, you have taught me the rules of safety for firearms many times, and I believe among the first is Only point a firearm at something you're willing to fire at."

Not answering Alexander grabs a bowl and pours some soup into it before repeating. Grabbing the bowls he sets them down on the table, before going to his cabinets. Turning round he asks "You want some bread?"

"Please." Luvia answers with a slight nod. Alexander grabbing a loaf returns to the table setting down the bread on a plate he grabbed along the way. Sitting down at the table Alexander and Luvia start to eat, enjoying some small talk before, they get back to work preparing for the night ahead.

Omake, Medea route, part 5

Rin sitting at Shirou's table, currently filled with Medea, Saber, and Shirou. Looks between the two servants and Alexander leaning against the wall, his gaze fixed on Archer's exact location. She responds. "So just so I have this straight, you two are teaming up in the grail war." she says pointing between Shirou and Alexander.

"Heaven's Feel, and it's more accurate to say Caster and Emiya are teaming up, she has free rein to do what she wants." Alexander corrects his eyes not leaving Archer's position. Rin looking to Medea with poorly hidden shock, receiving a confirming nod from the pointed eared woman.

"Okay... who are you anyways?" she asks Alexander. "Alexander, Silver I work for Zeltretch." he answers immediately receiving "You what?!" from a shocked Rin. Shirou confused asks "Who's Zeltretch." Rin giving him a look of disbelief as Archer materializing says, "He's the magician of the second magic."

"Gah you're so lucky, why can't I work for Zeltretch." Rin mutters under her breath angerly. "Clearly you've never met Zeltretch" Alexander says having heard her. "Okay So you're working with Caster Emiya?"

"Yeah, from what I've heard of this grail war-Heaven's Feel- Is it really a surprise I would work with them?" Shirou asks getting corrected by Alexander partway through his sentence. "Of course, it is!" Rin shouts, receiving an "I agree I was quite surprised by the this turn of events." from the until now silent Saber servant.

"Glad I'm not the only one." Rin says sighing slightly confused by the turn of events. "Master, might I suggest we conclude this meeting, and that we sleep on their proposal and get back to them tomorrow?" Archer suggests getting a chuckle from Alexander saying "If by get back to us, you mean carpet bombing Shirou's house with a rain of Noble Phantasm's..."

"You..." Archer says glaring at Alexander, as he looks to Medea who gives a slight nod as a bounded field springs forth from the Caster's Spell work. Rin Leveling a Gandr at Alexander immediately as Archer projects his swords, putting himself in between his master, and the other servants in the room.

"Oh, cut the crap Emiya, you know unless you pull out your reality marble, you wouldn't win this fight." Alexander states glaring at Archer, as Shirou says, "What I haven't said anything?!" Rin lowering her Gandr stairs at the back of Archer saying, "He's not talking about you Emiya."

"Smart girl." Caster says a vicious smirk on her face. "You see Shirou, I'm sure you noticed the second you saw Archer, but you hate him. The reason for that is because you see He's you." Shirou staring at Archer attempting to find something unspoken about him as Caster continues. "I'm sure you wonder how that's possible, you see the throne of Heroes is outside of time, meaning Heroes of the past can be summoned, as well as those from the Future." she says the last word being mumbled by Rin at the same time.

Alexander, pushing off the wall, walks towards Archer uncaring of the tensing of the servants' muscles. "Look at him Shirou, the man standing before you are the culmination of your ideals, a broken, pathetic, sad man. And above all of that an ally of Justice, a good man... a Hero."

And that's it, not much this chapter, just another important date for Alexander, that being his trial. Luvia's and his plans to try to find out more about Alexander, a bit of Zeltretch. Moving onto the omake, I believe I've already mention that while Caren Hortensia is Alexander's Natural Enemy that Archer is a close second. Yeah, Alexander hates Archer, less than Shirou does, but above all of that he Believes Archer's a hero fulfilling Shirou's idiotic ideals. Anyways that's all see you in two months.
