Yang Was currently jumping from building to building Following Danny and Jaune who was riding juniper. The Jackalope was flying as it was ghostly. Jaune used it as transport as he lacked speed he was a mighty glacier slow , but durable and powerful. Yang panted saying, "you know what Danny boo, I will take the ride." he turned grabbing her flying off with her.
Yang spoke up asking one thing, "And What the hell is this all about?" Danny spoke up, "you know my ghost sense?" Yang nodded, "Jaune has a Jabberwalker sense." he said flying with ghostly tail towards a portal in the sky.
Once through they were in a ruined City, Jaune looked around helmet on, "this is Argus, We are on remnant, My family lives here...NO ADRIAN!" he said riding on Juniper along the ground.
Yang blinked as she was set down, Only for a chuckle to come form the area behind them, The cat controlled cinder, "Welcome to the show Ghost baby, It's I the cat most curious, currently in Cinder the fall Maiden's body." she summoned swords, "I found out your birth mom is spring Maiden blonde... I wonder if she is still alive?" She charged warping around to slash at them.
Danny using ice swords to hold them back, As yang went into punches, how ever the cat's ability to split in Two still worked, And the possessed Maiden did that they avoid, reform and turned her human arms into massive cat claws covering them in fire through magic, and heating it up more through Cinder's semblance, making the flames turn white, for white hot.
Our ghost boy dropped his ice swords and in stead fired off an electrically charged ecto orb That exploded him back, "Yang Grimm go handle them, I can handle our cat girl." Yang turned off to go punch Some kind of legged Angler fish Grimm.
Elsewhere in the Ruins of the Cotta arc house. Jaune and his mount arrived, he removed his helmet looking around, "Terra, Saphron Adrian." there was a cry heard. The Jabberwalker was seen turning holding the baby in it's mouth by his little overalls. he pointed to him Jaune put his sword down, the baby looked at him. Crying reaching. the walker took the baby in hand, " baby. alive. Infant. Living. now. present. Knight. Warrior. Father. dad. papa. he. Him, Sir. Want. need. crave. Son. child. heir." he said clearly threatening Jaune with the baby as a meat shield. "Ghost? spook?" the threat was clear."
Jaune got off his steed saying one thing, " Walker this is between you and me. Put my Son by donor down and fight me Monster to knight."
The walker laughed jerking his head waling around him. "What? stupid, idiot. Bad-idea. Knight. Win. Walker. Lose. Not. Thanks. To. This. hostage."
Jaune put his sword up and declared one thing, "what are you so smug about not like you won by a fair fight." the jackalope had turned invisible hovering around waiting for an opening.
the walker laughed, "No. Such. Thing." It said stringing words together better. " Win. Lose. All." He held the baby who was crying tightly, "Well. baby. be. come. Ghost? Mothers. Didn't. Moms. mommies. Dead-dead. Gone. Nevermore, me. I. Self. Eat. devoured. Feasted. On. Arcs. you're. Family. Kin. in. My. belly. Stomach. Gut."
Jaune made a fist saying, "yet another reason to Avenge them." he said hand out pointing. " Another reason to hate you. Why? because I can fight back. That's what it's all about. When we met. I didn't run. I didn't scream. I turned, I stood my ground, and charged you weapons in hand, and battled back. You didn't like that. You feared it. you fear me. Why? because I remember last week, the prince's guards they threw their weapons at you. They fought back to, as the prince Declared if a human can do it so can you. Those throws drove you away. You didn't know how to react. I inspired them, Taught them how to fight back against you, Stopping you from ending them for good, Like your job is. After all you aren't a living thing, You don't grow and change. You aren't even a grimm who can think of new ways to fight, You are just a puppet , who can't control his strings."
Jabberwalker's head jerked leaving after images as it said,"right. correct. Dead-on. Like-totally-dude." How ever that's when it Happened Juniper came out solid head butting him in the arm, making him drop the baby. Jaune dove grabbing him and turning invisible and intangible.
The water hissed at this, Juniper appearing to smack him with horns again. As a ghost ray a yellow one, hit him while he was down. The walker got up arm injured, hissing.
Jaune continued talking, "And I couldn't use my ghost powers there." Within a moment Jaune appeared sword in one hand, Adrian in another, Slashing with a white ghost fire covered sword, To slash the injured arm off. he went intangible making the walkers arm go through him helpless. the JAckalope then span and landed a two hind leg kick knocking him through a ruined wall.
The walker's left arms were shattered off as it got up, hissing on it's three limbs." Knight. Fear. Death. Doom. Warrior. Choice. smart. create. Ruin. Human. Ghost." it repeated looking around only for the bunny to turn visible again to head butted it dead on shattering the other horns.
the walker hit a tree shaking as it got up to stream as it's tail was slashed off by an ice spike. Jaune appeared his breath visible eyes glowing blue, as he held his son, Sword out, " Correct." he vanished. the walker was then, struck shot in the legs by two ghost beams, One from Jaune one from Juniper both yellow. it fell over the rapid appearing to stomp on and break it's arm.
The walker looked up Jaune holding sword him unable to move. The Walker said, "Death. The end. the. Knight. Returned. Form. the. poison. to. Slay. The. beast." Jaune chopped it's head off making Adrian cry. Jaune held him as he turned to walk away putting sword up. "It's over Son, Leg's Go. Dead didn't stop me from keeping you safe at least." he then saw it, his reflection rings appeared. "...wait you mean." he pulled out a fenton work scroll and called.
Nora pyrrha and Ren picked up the group call. Jaune said, "I just turned human." The three blinked in the room as rings appeared of there aura colors and turned them human.
pyrrha went ghost again and said, "So I could have turned the hot as hell clown woman thing off this hole fucking time. We are halfas , Wait ALYX TRY TURNING HUMAN!"
Up stairs the light blue rings made alyx her old human self, She blinked, "...We could have did that this hole time."
Whitley walked in to the kitchen where the little girl had taken a cookie from the jar, "And yet I can't yet?" He said grabbing the can to throw up, "Oh that was gross."
Nora then said, "What do you mean you are on Remnant? how do we have this call range?" She blinked in shock.
On remnant Jaune human rusted knight mode held Adrian, Seeing Juniper turn to normal Jackalope, "I guess before Danny we didn't know about half ghosts. Look Go see Frostbite get him to pick us up our Portal closed. "
he saw Yang killing Grimm and Danny arms to his side using his ghostly wail to splatter Cinder's damaged body leaving just the cat to teleport away. Danny panted arms out. "fuck."
the baby in Jaune's arms then said, "Fuck!" Danny jumped Jaune said, "he just saw most of his family eaten by a monster, he has earned the right to curse no matter the age. Sadly." he said hanging up.
Yang then walked up, "Wait the cat said My mom was spring...Raven...I can't believe I am saying this we need to save her form the cat...At least Danny will see how high my aging is."
Danny nodded turning human, "big time...welcome to the halfa club Jaune."
Elsewhere Raven was walking left arm limp and useless laughing, "Another world, I could have taken Yang and Ruby to the everafter after summer died. I mean Taiyang too, but My daughter...I left as I knew too much and cared too much to lie. " he cried. "and I still didn't know enough. she left this planet good for her. She is safe and will live happily."
A voice said, "Well she came back for you." Raven jumped sword out, the cat, "No!" the cat took on it's larger form. The Cat said,"Now your body is too beaten, so I will keep you alive use you as bait kill you before her, So she will be broken, You will give those powers to her, and I body jack your daughter. hahahahah."
