Pain. That's the first thought in Yondaime's mind the moment he attempted to sit. "Aww my head" whined Minato.

Minato looked around and recognized the room he was in as the master bedroom of the mansion meant for the clan head of Namikaze clan in the middle of the clan compound.

"It seems the plan worked," muttered Minato.

He closedhis eyes and remembered how he was ready to give his life for both his village and son when Kushina made him realize what his son would be if both of them died there.

An orphan even if the villagers follow his last wish to see him as the hero he is, but that's not a child that truly needs growing up is it?

No, he needs his parents, they didn't birth a child just to abandon him like that.

So, he changed the sealing method last minute instead of calling a Shinigami as suggested by Uzumakis he channeled his Namikaze chakra to perform the sealing.

Most are unaware of the fact but at the time he was the new clan head of the almost extinct clan, his younger brother being the only other member left alive.

It was his dream to revive his clan and so he built the compound secretly away from those not of Namikaze blood or not keyed to it as he had his Kushina.

He used the ancient Namikaze techniques to hide it at the time but even Naruto was unable to see it in the past 12 years since he was not a recognized member in the eyes of other members.

The Yondaime used his Namikaze chakra to seal the Kyuubi but it had deteorite his body completely at the time but was able to collect it again through space time .

And now after 12 years he is back to take care of his son even if he was unable to for a long time. Although he is not aware right now that 12 years have passed since.

" Naruto, I am coming, my baby boy" promised the father and attempted to stand when he was pushed back by a hand.

Minato went to attack thinking of an enemy when he froze, "Asahi" whispered the hokage.

" Hey nii-san, long time no see" cheered the now named Asahi who looked like Minato's carbon copy with few differences.

"Although gotta say it was fairly easy to infiltrate the village" came a cheeky greeting.

Although Minato's sharp eyes caught the suspicious glistening in his eyes.

"Ohh just come here" pulled the younger look-alike of himself in for a hug.

" I missed you," muttered Asahi.

"I know," soothed Minato. " Shh it's alright I am here. "

"Nothing is alright." came a overwhelmed response. " I hate you.I hate you so much"

"Hey what happened - take deep breaths for me please. "

"Why did you forbid me to interact with anyone in Konoha? I know you did that to protect me but all it had done for past 12 years - "

"12 years "cut off an alarmed Minato. " What do you mean by 12 years? " came the demand.

" Yeah, 12 years." sniffed "While you using Namikaze chakra reduced the effects of the sealing process but you still were the clan head only for a couple of months and were not ready to handle the Namikaze chakra at that level. Hence, while you didn't die, your body took this long to completely recover. " replied the younger brother.

"And since you were still alive your binding to my chakra was still intact which you were going to remove that day " glared Asahi.

" Hey don't look at me like that. You know that was for your own protection from people like Danzo who Kami knows what would have done knowing of another Namikaze since they could not get their hands on me. " admonished Minato.

"And if I am not mistaken I had to do that because someone was not staying put. Although I apologize that you have to endure it for 12 years since that was never my intention. "

This caused the younger blonde to blush " Yes but it kept me away from Naruto for all this time and considering how these villagers were treating him only I know how I protected him all this time"

" What do you mean by how he was treated? " asked a now very alarmed father.

"Perhaps you should rest for now and we can talk in the morning" Asahi tried to cool him down but- "Asahi Namikaze" warned Minato which caused him to shrink down.

'Even after all these years. Geez' thought Asahi but outwardly only sighed and told Minato everything that had happened in the past 12 years although a bit reluctantly since he wanted his big brother to rest some first.
