As Brooke and Lucas settled into this next stage of life together.

Both 30 now. It caused a moment of reflection for the couple.

Carter was 14. Paul was 10 and their youngest Dawn was 7.

For the two their love and commitment to each other is the reason they had this life and they couldn't envision it with anyone else.

But when it came down to it. Besides their separate career success.

Brooke with her fashion line. And Lucas as an author.

They were on separate sides of an important topic.

Marriage.

Lucas didn't see the want need or desire for it. They shared a home children. A life.

That was enough for Lucas.
