Only One

Chapter 3

Lucas 's home office was sacred space. The same could be said for Brooke 's design room.

There was a window seat in the living room. A fireplace. A tv. Comfortable seating.

Framed cherished memories. Along with video.

The house overall was warm and inviting. That was because of Brooke.

There were very few things Brooke put a limit on. When it came to,money.

While Lucas felt more secure living within a budget.

The kitchen had a mixture of light and dark wood.

Up to date appliances. There were splashes of color in almost every room.

Their children were allowed in every room besides their next. The downstairs basement.

Was where friends hung out of all ages.

...

Lucas got home from the office and found. Dawn playing with her beloved doll house. Given to her by her mom.

When it came to being spoiled. Its safe to say Dawn was out of all the children.

And over protected. Between her dad and her brothers.

Carter and Paul both played basketball. But Carter saw a future in it.

For Paul he loved his books movies and vintage shops.

He had HCM. But that did anything but limit him.

If anything it caused him to be more of a dare devil.

...

Carter was their steady strong never have to worry about child. He had a combined personality of both parents the most.

He was closest with his parents because he had grown up along side them.
