The Lotus Ninjas find themselves dealing with new creatures known as Yokais while also dealing with the drama between the Shadow Clan and the Onis, and participating the annual Wiccan Nexus.

Sequel to Promise. Raphael and Karai become embroiled in an ancient feud when Shredder brings the full wrath of the Foot Clan to Hamato Yoshi in New York. The pair must wade through years of deception and mounting pressure between the two ninja clans, the mafia and the Kraang, making them question their loyalties and the fine lines between friend, foe and family.

A Leonardo from the future visits the turtles to forewarn them of a tragic event that will forever shatter the Hamoto family if not prevented, and it involves an ancient weapon they stole from The Shredder. When this event threatens Mikey's life, the turtles are determined to rewrite their destiny with future Leo's help, even if it seems he's protecting Mikey from a horrid truth.
