EMMA'S POV*
It was in the evening in Fairbanks and the rains were raining so heavily, whooshing winds making visibility impossible. I was driving from work to home in the heavy rains, 'cause its very late I need to meet up with my family home. I extended my hand in my hand bag and got out my inhaler and phone, I inhaled twice and turned on my phone, my daughter had been calling me for a while and she left some voice mails, I started playing them.
" hello mum, call me as soon as u get this!.."
"Hello mum, its me again, its my birthday, come home early, I guess u got my gift 'cause last time you were away and I missed you..."
The phone reads 'one percent' (1%) and it shut down " danm, danm, stupid phone.." I yelled.
She focused on reaching home fast and getting out of the rains 'cause it was stressing, she speed up going at 140, as she was approaching on a bridge she saw someone at the side of the road waving at her in the rains, an old man who looked like a stature but his hand only moved to wave at her, she passed him and she decided to look at the back to see if the man is still there, nodding her head was not a good idea so she decided to look on the mirror in front.
The moment she rolls her eyes at the mirror she saw someone sitting at the back seat and she immediately nodd her head looking at the back seat but no one was thire, as soon as she nodded her head in front, the old man whom she saw was standing in front of the speeding car about a metre then boooom!!!
She wheeled so hard but she hit the man and went and smashed on the bridge, and brock the pillars at the edge of the road where the car hit on the bridge, the front tires of the car were out of the edges of the bridge hanging loose about to fall down.
EMMA'S POV*
My heart was in my hand, terror and fear rush into me, I have to check out side to see the man I hit, I opened the door and went out of the car into the rain, went behind the car but couldn't see the man I hit, no one was ther, I look around but I just head a laughter, it was that of a kid coming from my back but no one was there too.
My body felt so weak cause I was scared, before I know it my feet start to lift up along with my body, levitating like there's no gravity.
My hand and my legs start to break on the joints, the pain of my bones breaking cursed trough me, I shouted in pain till blood started gushing out of my eyes,nose,mouth and ears.
Immediately blood gush out, her eyes were pulled inside her body, and she dropped to the ground. There apeard the old man who looked weak gaining strength after she died, and became a little bit of young, he says"she's back, she's back, she's back..."he kept repeating those words ...then boooom!!!
Emma wakes up from her dream, she startle from her nightmare!!

My name is Emma Jared am a woman of 48 years old, my husband 'Seth Jared' died in 2015 with a car accident, so am a single mum who works hard to bring food on my family's table. He left me with three children I.e
' Scott Jared 24 years old boy'
'Tabitha Jared 18 years old girl'
'Ann Jared 13 years old girl'
He died in Toronto, Canada, we moved to Fairbanks just after he died, we have been living here since 2016 to date.
By the way tomorrow is Tabitha's 19th birthday.
Scott's room, he was still asleep despite him being late at school, as senior student, until Tabitha smashed the door open and got in.
"Hey! Sleepy head, wake up you gonna be late..." She spoke
" what the time is it already mornin'...?"Scott yawn.
"You have two minutes to come down stairs or we are living without you.." Tabitha
"You don't even know how to drive..." Scott respond while he wakes up and tabitha left the room, he got his trousers, put on his shoes he wore a vest and a white long sleaved shirt, he walk out of his room to the living room while tieing his neck tie, walk down n found his mum and little Ann sited having their breakfast, he walk in a hurry and kissed his mum on the fore head and got her sandwich, eating it while he goes out..
"Bye Ann, mum am late see u..." He walk out finding Tabitha already outside waiting by the car.
"He's always late..." Says little Ann
Scott drives a car it was bought to him by his father before he died.
AT THE SCHOOL
they arrive at the school, Tabitha has been busy on her phone ever since they took off, he stoped the car at the car parking
"Let me see who's making you punch on the phone like that.." Scott picked Tabitha's phone off her hands in agile.
" hey! Give me back my phone...!" Tabitha shouts
"You are shopping online? Tabitha?.." Scott
Yes tomorrow is my birthday, I gotta do something... "
"Stole mums credit cards, didnt you?.."
"Yeah I just got it I will tell her when I get back home..." Tabitha, her friends three friend came to the car
" hey!! Give me my phone I gotta go.." Tabitha, Scott pass her her phone and she went on her direction with he crony.
12:15
At the school
They knock off and Scott with his friend walk out of their classes, he had only two friends, they say good byes to each other and Scott went to the car to wait for Tabitha, and their she came with her friends (Serah, Charlotte, caraline)
"Scott, the online shopping did not work, we need to go to the shopping mall"
pleads caraline, yes, caraline Scott's crush.
"Uuhm, that's about...forever drive, so no!!" Scott
"Scott, do it for us, in short do it for Tabitha.." Charlotte pleads "please, please" they all pleead.
"Ok, only this once, ok, this once...!"
"Yes, yes..." Tabitha screams
They took off to the mall, Scott, Tabitha, caraline, Charlotte, serah...
They arrive at the mall and the street was quiet with no people in it, he stops the car and they moves out of the car into the mall, the mall was empty too, only the men at the counter, they got a trolley, and went their directions, Scott and caraline went in the opposite direction..
"So what are we picking..?" Scott interrogate
"Uughm, Anything special, girly for a birthday" caraline answer
"I dont do girly shoping, so I think you gotta show me huh, or else I gotta pick something like this" scott pick a small ball with a smile and throw it at her, "ohh, it's got blood, are u bleeding?!" Caraline ask
"Noo, noo am not" Scott stare at his palm and he got blood stain on it. "I don't know maybe the ball..." Scott point on it and it had fresh blood "you know what.., I gotta use the bathroom, I will be coming soon.." He left heading to the bathroom.
SCOTT'S POV*
The stain of blood did not worry me at all, because it might be a mistake on there, I approached the bathroom door, on it there was words written upside down saying " IT FOLLOWS" Written with blood too, like that of someone who was bleeding and he/she used his/her fingers to write on the door, OK, something's uncanny here, I opened the door got inside the room, on the tap it was written "GET OUT!" And on the mirror too, I faced down on the tap and opened the water on the tap and cleanse my hands. Then I raised my head up, but to my surprise, my image on the mirror was still facing down, my heart start pounding slowly, I waved my hand but my image remained the same, then it started moving its head slowly up on its own, and it looked at me, I moved close, but it just stare at me, then slowly move my head toward it, and moved my hand toward the mirror, it looked straight in my eyes, the moment my hand could reach the mirror then boooom!!!
It ditched the mirror, got hold of my hand its face moved out of the ditched mirror, its eyes turned whitish-grey with long fangs.
"She want your life, she want them all!!" It shouted, I was scared,terror,the horror. I started shouting while it claws started scratching my face and my hands, blood all over my clothes then I managed to run out the room painting, run back at the mall.
" we-we need to goo, right now.."I shouted.
" What Scott we not done shopping, why the hurry?" Tabitha ask.
"Let's goo there is demon..." I spoke while breathing heavily, but to my surprise, the claws and the blood were not there any more, I was just fine.
was I illussinating? I don't know*
We ran outta the mall and took off immediately.
It was 3pm and the winds whooshing around, with some clouds forming up, I drove the car on high speed.
"Hey! What happened back there" Serah asked
"We will talk when we get home!" I answer
"Did you say 'demons' Scott!?" Charlotte looking confused
The car was in high speed and the rains started falling, with winds whooshing hard (35km/h) affecting visibility.
As they approach the bridge the rain became so heavy, acompaned with lightnings and thunder storms.
"Scott, slow down, slow down!" Everyone shouted.
"Hey! Scott look out!!" Tabitha shouted while pointed in front as someone was standing in front on the bridge, a man.
A man stood in the middle of the road, but Scott couldn't have a clear vision, because of the rains and the winds, beside that the car was over speeding, until the man was very close that's when Scott wheeled so hard to the left, but boooom!!
He hit the man and the car went to hit the bridge, destroying the bridge and car too, it was at the edge of the bridge about to fall, it stopped, hang loose, everyone has blood stains inside because of the impact of the accident, without knowing their injuries, the car start to move again Like some one was pushing from behind,
It started slowly after some seconds then it went vrooom! In an agile into the bridge boooom!!
SCOTTS POV*
Am going crazy right now, my heart is pounding faster and harder, so weak and I feel like a lost soul, as the car goes down into the waters, its start to be filled with water, I had no idea what to do, tried to punch on the window the door to open, but all in vain, looking at Tabitha, she has alright fainted along with the girls, I can't reach her, nor do nothing, the car filled with water and I had to hold my breath for sometimes, my vision went blurry till it bacame dark, so numb, I couldn't see any more, I couldn't hear or feel anymore...!!!!!
