The first time Casper encountered Kibosh, he had been 6, and it had been the middle of the night. He had been awoken be a huge crash of lightning and thunder. He tried to turn on the lights, but the electricity was out. The wind outside sounded awful. Casper got scared and left his room to find his uncles. He could see a bright green glow coming from the study, he walked towards it hoping his uncles were in there. He got to the doorway and saw a stranger standing in the room; a big, tall, green ghost with blood red eyes.

Casper screamed.

He didn't know who this stranger was, but surely he was an intruder, a danger to him and his uncles. He was scared of what the stranger might do. Stinky came flying out of the room and picked him up. Casper stared and noticed his other two uncles in the study as well. Maybe the stranger wasn't an intruder? The green stranger stared at Casper and looked very confused.

"Who is this child?" he asked in a confused tone.

Stretch looked guilty and approached.

"That there's our nephew, Casper." He answered reluctantly.

"You have another nephew?" the green ghost raised a brow. "Is he visiting?"

"…no" Stretch answered reluctantly.

"His dad is dead…dead dead. Not coming back dead." Stinky clarified.

"I see, how long have you had him?" Kibosh asked

"Since we moved into the house." Stretch answered. "That's why we decided to come here actually." he lied on the second part. They had no idea Casper was in the house when they first moved in, they had found him completely frozen in the attic, which had also explained why the house had been so damn cold for that first week.

"Oh? That certainly explains why you've requested such bizarre work schedules. Though, you never reported that you had a child in your care. Your household list says three, not four." Kibosh raised a brow.

"Must have been a typo." Stinky nervously chuckled.

"Well, I'll have a secretary send you paperwork to fill out about him. For now, though, this check in is over." Kibosh stated firmly, then turned to little Casper. "And I certainly hope you live up to your uncle's reputation." He smiled a bit and reached out to pat the child on the head.

Casper didn't know what came over him, whether it was because he was still wary of the stranger, or he just knew Kibosh was bad news, but he snapped away from the hand and growled. And rather aggressively as that.

Kibosh yanked his hand away and looked wide eyed at the child. The ghostly trio looked very concerned, likely scared that the tyrant was now mad. After a moment of staring though, he just chuckled.

"A good sign." He laughed, and in a twister, left.

Casper watched defensively until he was certain the strange man had left. The lights came back on, the trio sighed in relief, and then chuckled and congratulated Casper on making a good first impression.

Kibosh's first opinion of the boy didn't keep. He later saw how friendly the boy was…

The next time Casper encountered Kibosh, it had been sunny out. The little ghost had been picking flowers in the woods behind his house, he even had a basket and one of those floppy brimmed hats gardeners wear. It was his 7th birthday actually…well, sort of.

(He had been stuck in ice for almost 90 years, but he didn't count it. His uncles had been jokingly calling him old man though…)

He saw the sky turn grey overhead, thunder shook the area. It looked like a bad storm, so he went home, taking his basket of flowers with him. He walked into the house, struggling to open the door from the strong winds. He got inside, the door slamed behind him from the wind. He heard talking in the kitchen and went there.

There was that same green glow.

He cautiously looked around and into the kitchen door way. It was Kibosh again, and what's worse, he saw Casper.

"Casper, just the ghost I came to see!" The green ghost exclaimed happily.

The little ghost gulped and entered the kitchen. He still felt very wary of Kibosh. The ghostly trio stood by and watched nervously.

"I hear it's your birthday, and-what are those?" Kibosh looked at the basket curiously.

"F-flowers…" Casper mumbled.

"What are they for?" the green king raised a brow.

"T-they're pretty." The young ghost responded nervously.

Kibosh frowned and grabbed the basket from Casper's grip. The little ghost watched with confusion and sadness as the green man tossed the basket to Stinky.

"You can't get scary by picking flowers." Kibosh told Casper, then turned his attention to Stinky.

"Get rid of them."

"Yes sir!" Stinky saluted and flew out of the kitchen at light speed.

Kibosh then handed the little ghost a book, the title read "Scaring 101."

"A birthday present." Kibosh stated casually.

"But I...I don't like scaring people." Casper mumbled.

The little ghost tensed up in terror as Kibosh patted his shoulder. The green ghost then snapped his hand away as a slight pain stung through it, he looked at his hand and saw a thin layer of ice covering the palm. He raised a brow, but then went back to a smile.

"You will." Kibosh stated calmly.

Casper didn't feel very calm though.

Kibosh then turned his attention towards Stretch and Fatso.

"Now since you are his guardians, I suggest you start looking for a school to place him in." Kibosh stated sternly.

"Yup, already been looking!" Fatso assured nervously.

"Yes sir, a school is being decided on! Just a few details to work out!" Stretch added, also nervous.

"See that you do." And with that, Kibosh left, leaving in a green whirlwind.

Before his uncles could say anything, Casper left and went to his room. He laid down on his bed and sobbed, hugging a mint green teddy bear for comfort.

"…Kid?" He heard Stinky ask.

Casper didn't get up; he was too upset. Kibosh was scary, and he was trying to make him be scary too. He felt Stinky pat his shoulder gently.

"Casper, look what I got…" Stinky stated, sounding happy.

The little ghost opened his eyes and saw his basket, he sat up and saw the flowers were still inside. He smiled up at his uncle and hugged him.

"Just keep them in your room, in case Kibosh comes back and sees them." Stinky smiled. "And we weren't gonna tell you, but Fatso's downstairs making you a cake. You should go downstairs and make sure he doesn't eat all the ingredients." The older ghost laughed.

Casper whipped away his tears "Ok." And smiled with a sniff.

Casper; born 1916

Casper died 1922, age 6, only a few weeks after his birthday.

Froze himself accidently for 89 years due to guilt over his father getting sent to a mental asylum.

Uncles found him in 2011, Casper woke up.

Casper soon turned 7, technically.

Ghosts age like humans at first, then their aging becomes much slower once they become adults.

This is why his uncles became ghosts in the 20s but aren't physically really old.

and let's say this story takes place in 2021, Casper is now 17.

And onto this, this means all in one year (to Casper) he died, his father was sent away, he froze himself, met his uncles, and then met kibosh. This poor child.

I hope to god I got the math right. It's not complex, but I'm very dumb, so please forgive me XD
