Family Is Everything

This here is a very true statement! I'm sure that there are a lot of things that RDJ would want to say to his father, but where's the fun in telling you now? I may as well tell you in the chapter. So instead of me rambling on like this, let's get right into the chapter shall we?

"Dad? What are you doing here?" RDJ's face said it all. Would he really believe that his father would just turn up randomly like this? His dad who had been neglecting him his whole life was stood on his doorstep. Wobbling as if he had been beaten by baseball bats by multiple gang members. No…but he was. But he did look like he was in a terrible state.

"S-Son…BURP…I gotta talk to…youuu…" He slurred in a loud tone, struggling to lean up against the door frame. "Did you get a…conjoined twin?" The dizziness affected his vision, making him see multiple figures of his younger son.

"Have you been drinking?" The blue and gold macaw leaned up against the door frame with a weird gaze. "Should I be concerned?"

"Yes! And I am very very dr…drunk! I can…come back later?"

"No, come in. I'll get you some coffee so you can sober up." Despite him having a rocky relationship with his dad, he still had to help him out. Because if his mom could do it, even if she didn't love him anymore…then he could do the same for his own flesh and blood. "Sorry if things aren't how you remembered them. I had some work done in here."

"Oh no it's…fineee! Amber never really liked the fireplace. She always had allergies from the material it was made from." Leandro remarked, as he instantly fell down on the floor. "Oh pineapples!"

"Shit! Are you okay?" RDJ lifted him up and wrapped his arm around his shoulders. Safely carrying him over to the couch. "You have kept yourself in shape after all these years."

"Ha…I wish I had your physique son. I bet Lila is absolutely crazy about it." He remarked with a smirk. As both of them did share a brief smirk…something that they haven't really done before in their life.

"Well I've been working out a lot to make myself stronger and more confident with who I am. And I'm pretty proud of the person I've become."

"And so you should! You are…ahhhh…a very good person…unlike me…" The older blue and gold man sighed heavily. Looking down at his feet, whilst RDJ was in the kitchen getting him some coffee.

RDJ only briefly looked out of the kitchen to get a glimpse of his dad from around the corner. Despite how he had felt about how he had been ignored by him since birth. Even when his mom had passed away…he still didn't want him to feel the pain he felt when losing her. Obviously showing how different their personalities were.

"Listen, you're not…a bad person dad. You've just made some mistakes…" He tried to make him feel better by not saying anything about him that may sound a bit insulting. But that didn't stop his dad from being honest.

"Thank you." He took the coffee from his son and instantly started drinking it, even though it was piping hot. "Can I get a refill?"

"Take it easy. You don't want to burn your tongue off." He chuckled whilst leaving the coffee pot on the table so he could refill his drink.

Both of them had a moment of silence between the two.

The reason why Leandro was silent because after so many years of not really connecting with his younger son, he was afraid of making the wrong approach here. Especially in case he were to offend him by any means necessary.

As for his son. Now his mindset was more along the fact that since his mom died, Leandro hadn't even made any kind of effort to even reconnect with him.

"So…" Leandro was the first one to break the silence, after finishing his second cup of coffee. "You are probably wondering…Ughh…Why I'm here."

"I'm more worried about wether you will pass out." RDJ responded bluntly. Pouring him another cup of coffee, and giving him some bagels. "Eat…"

"Thanks son…" He picked up a bagel and took a bite out of it. As his son just sat down on the couch next to him.

"Dad…why are you really here? You've not been here once since mom died. You wanted me to sign the rights of everything over to you. Now you turn up on my doorstep drunk. The house that mom left me! And I am NOT giving this up for you! So if that is the reason why you are here…once you sober up, you can get the fuck out of my house!" RDJ grumbled angrily…picking up the top that was ripped by Samantha, and began sewing it back together.

Leandro at first was struck by these powerful words…but once he noticed how RDJ was sewing up the shirt with the needle and thread. Now that did remind him of a funny story.

"You know…when I first met your mom, we were once crazy about each other you know? And we used to get into all kinds of mischief back in the day." He chuckled mischievously, gradually feeling like the coffee was doing its job.

"Oh yeah? Like what?" RDJ rose his head a little bit to pay attention to what his dad was going on about.

"We used to sneak into her neighbour's garden shed, and steal his crates of tequila. Then we would run down to the beach, blast music on my boom box, and we'd dance like crazy."

"Really? Mom was like that?"

"Sure! She was known in our town as the best person to go on a day or night out with. Because you would have so much fun! And boy…we had some funky times." The older male smirked, slightly sobering up even more. Because the food and coffee were making its effect. "Anyway, once we got down to the beach…I remember stepping on a jellyfish and I had to rip off a piece of my shirt to put in my beak to stop me from screaming. And you sewing that shirt reminded me of the part of the shirt I used."

"Oooh…so you didn't scream in front of her?" RDJ put the shirt and sewing kit down, paying attention to his father's story.

"That's right! So anyway, she was lost in the world of Elvia Presley. So I had to act quick if I didn't want to get spotted. So I pulled down my shorts and whipped out my…"

"Yeah I get how you do it. Just tell me what happened next." He interrupted him, because he didn't want to hear his own dad talking about his privates like that.

"Sorry…hehe! So I tried to pee on myself…but I didn't have any in me! So I started to feel like I was running out of options…until…" Leandro paused mid sentence…only to then find out that RDJ already thought he knew where he was going with this. And the instant feeling he had was absolute disgust.

"Ewwwww! She peed on you?!" He cringed his face tightly. Trying to get that image out of his head.

"Nope! Much…Much worse…"

"You peed on her?"

"Worse…"

"Just tell me already!" RDJ got tired of waiting and slammed his fist on the couch with emphasis.

"When I tried to force a pee to come out…eventually when I was about to do it…a young couple walked past us and noticed that I was trying to…pee on my foot. So…the man then offered to help. But he didn't speak much of Portuguese or English! So when he started peeing on me…his girlfriend took out her cell phone and recorded him! And as for Amber…she was actually watching him pee on me! And she found it so hilarious that she kept teasing me for a long time."

"Fucking hell. I would have thought she'd leave you after that."

"Well when we did that, we were actually already in a pretty serious relationship at the time. So I suppose we just kind of learned how to take the heat. But to be honest…I know that I fucked everything up in the end." Leandro munched on his second bagel, beginning to get that sense of reality back.

"Yeah. You did." RDJ didn't even want to talk about that, and continued to do his sewing.

"Look son…I know that I can't go back in time and fix everything…"

"You're right. You can't!" He snapped back irritably, just wanting him to hurry up sobering up and get going so he can finish his task at hand. "You are already 21 years late dad."

"Let me finish." His father has demanded kindly, placing a hand on his son's shoulder. "I am truly sorry for everything that I have done to you. Truly I am! And…what you said back at the restaurant…"

"Forget it…" The younger man looked away from him…but despite his best efforts…Leandro wouldn't stop.

"No! I won't RDJ! What you said had really opened my eyes. I realise that I was never there for you…"

"Stop it…" RDJ at this moment was beginning to get a little tense… his father however wasn't able to be stopped from talking to him about how he was a huge deadbeat dad..

"I should have spent more time with you! I should have taught you how to read and write. How to ride a bike. Helped you with your homework…"

"Please stop it…"

"I should have talked to you about safe sex, and teach you to shave! How to surf as well as teaching you how to drive!"

"P-Please dad! Just…Just stop!" The emotions were overwhelming him…to the point that the whole time he was clenching his hands tightly.

"I don't think of you as an accident son! I realise that now! I was a really bad…terrible…awful father! I should have made more time for you…and be the father I was to Fred to you also! You did not deserve the pain I put you through…"

"S-Stop…" He put his sewing stuff down and clenched his hands tightly into fists. As if he had a lot of built up energy inside of him, and he was about to unleash hell.

"You are a blessing son! And your mother was more than just a woman to me son! She was at that time the love of my life…and I shouldn't have cheated on her! I should just been honest with her…"

"Dad…"

"No son!" Leandro then placed both his hands on both his shoulders. "If I could go back in time and change it all, I would! Then maybe…"

"DAD…" He was on the brink of losing it…but he tried so hard to bottle up all this energy.

"Maybe she would still be alive…"

"BUT SHE'S NOT! IS SHE?!" RDJ pushed his father off of him, then he screamed and threw a glass up against the wall, smashing it upon impact. Much to the surprise of his father by how fast his reflexes were. "SHE IS DEAD DAD! SHE IS FUCKING DEAD! AND WHERE WERE YOU, HUH?! WHERE WAS MY FATHER WHEN I NEEDED HIM THE MOST?!"

The blue and gold man had tears in his eyes when ranting to his father, who instead of answering him…he just sat there and listened to him. Because he deserved everything he was getting right now.

"I needed you…at a time in my life. When my mom…my role model …the closest person I had died in that killer wave! She fucking drowned the same night that she was teaching me how to surf! And I blamed myself for 7 FUCKING years! 7 YEARS! Because I was there when she died! BUT WHERE WAS MY DAD?!" He pointed his finger at him menacingly, whilst Leandro also had tears in his eyes. "What did I do to you…that was so awful, for you to hate me so much?"

"I never hated you RDJ?" Leandro finally had the courage to speak, despite taking all of these hurtful but truthful words.

"Oh please! You couldn't even give a fuck about me! You only cared about your new sugar baby and your older son! As well as you only caring about yourself! You never loved me!"

"Now that is not true! I do love you!"

"LIAR!" RDJ bellowed again and flipped over the table, spilling all of the coffee and food on the wooden floor. "YOU DIDN'T EVEN COME TO THE FUCKING FUNERAL!"

"YOU THINK I DIDN'T WANT TO?!" Now it was his dad who piped up himself. He matched his emotional energy and his tears were also flowing like a river of guilt and regret. His palms were trembling like he was in an ever ending amount of grief. And as RDJ took one little glance into his father's eyes…he too saw the look of someone who was suffering deeply on the inside. "I wanted to come to the funeral son! I even booked my flight to come home so I could go. But as I was about to pack for my trip, Fred told me he didn't want me there! So he hacked my email and cancelled my flight!"

"So?! You still should have come!"

"You're right! You're right. I should have. I screwed up!" Leandro approached his crying son gradually. Speaking in a low and calm manner to avoid scaring him. "I'm not expecting you to forgive me for everything that I have done to you. And to your mother. But…I just wanted to tell you that…I truly am sorry! I really am. And I…" He paused for just a second…wiping away his tears whilst turning away from him. "I wanted to at least own up to my wrongs…and tell you that I was wrong…and that…I…I could never be any prouder…to have you as my son…RDJ."

After hearing the words that he had prayed and prayed so hard for as a kid to be said by his own dad. RDJ looked into the eyes of his dad's…noticing the amount of heartbreak in those eyes. That he knew that everything he had said was the absolute truth.

"I love you my boy…" Leandro sadly mumbled and turned away from him. Heading toward the door as he was about to make his way home to his wife. But before he could even get halfway toward the door. The most unexpected thing happened.

As he reached out to grab the door handle, he had been tackled behind by none other than his son. Who suddenly wrapped his arms around him, hugging him tightly as he cried into his shirt.

"I love you too dad!" RDJ mumbled in between cries, as all of this emotion and sadness was being released through tears and hugs. As his father was comforting him by hugging him back in return. "I know…Sniff…that nothing could ever bring her back! Sniff…And I already lost one parent 7 years ago…I don't want to lose any more!"

"Of course you won't lose me son! I promise!" The older male smiled as he patted him on his back. "Does this mean that…"

"Yes dad…" Once he got all his tears and sadness out, he looked up at his father's smiling face with a cheery grin of his own. "I forgive you dad! Mom wouldn't have wanted us to keep fighting."

"I wouldn't be so sure? She'd probably want you to kick my ass at this point." Both of them laughed when this joke was made. And RDJ finally made himself calm again, before picking up the table that he had flipped over. "No no no! You sit down my son. Let me tidy up the mess."

"Don't be silly dad. I made the mess so I should be the one who cleans it."

"Then how about we do it together? I'll pick up the gable and the vases. Then you get the broom and dustpan."

"Okay…together." RDJ gave his father a fist bump and turned away to tidy up his mess.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!

"Oh crap! That must be Lila!" RDJ panicked whilst he was sweeping up the mess that he had left on the floor.

"Do you want me to answer it?" Leandro suggested after putting the non broken items back on the table. Once it had been placed upright again once more of course.

"Actually, could you keep going while I answer it?"

"Sure!" His father took the dust pan from him and continued to clean up the room.

As for RDJ, he straightened himself out so he could be at least beat and tidy to answer the door.

Once he had opened the front door to his home with a grin on his face…it wasn't really who he was expecting unfortunately.

"Wow. You're definitely happy to see me bro?" Pedro chuckled and gave him a fist bump.

"Hey Pedro? Sofia? What are you guys doing here?" Disappointed would be an understatement for him when he didn't see his girlfriend come to the door. But it didn't stop him from engaging in a conversation with his friends. "Please come in!"

"Thank you dude!" Pedro walked straight past him, but Sofia walked up to him and gave him a hug. Pressing her boobs up against his chest really made her good at hugging.

"What's this for?"

"Just…being polite! Anything wrong with that?" Sofia giggled playfully and strolled straight past him.

"Hmmm…I guess not?" He spoke to himself and closed the door. But before he even asked them a question…they just stood stock still. As if they had seen a ghost appear before them. "Guys?"

"Ummm…dude? Why is your deadbeat dad here?!" Pedro asked his friend with a slight grumble. He was shocked beyond most things, but there had to be some logical explanation.

"Don't worry. We are…working things out." He smiled at his dad who nodded at him in return.

"Seriously? H-How the fuck…"

"I know it's hard to understand now Pedro. But I am not going to carry on pushing my dad away. We need to rekindle our father son relationship…because I think that's what my mom would have wanted!"

Both cardinals didn't want to argue with him about this. So they just decided to sit on the couch that was facing the view of the ocean from the porch outside. Sofia was obviously so jealous that he had such an incredible house. "Wow…How I envy you dude to have a house like this!"

"Well I'm just glad that I have been able to stay here for so long!" RDJ beamed before sitting down opposite of the two of them. "Now…what can I do for you guys?"

"Ahem…" Sofia cleared her throat and took a deep breath in and then out. "Right…So…The ummm…Reason I'm here…" I mean, you could sense the awkwardness from her. Despite her being a very confident person. Asking for money from someone she barely knew was very difficult for her. But she honestly didn't have a lot of options.

"Sofia?" RDJ noticed that she was facing difficulties speaking about something.

"Ahem…Right! The thing is…I was going to ask you if I could…"

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!

"Oh! I think that might be Lila!" RDJ spoke excitedly, as Leandro headed for the front door.

"Don't worry, I'll get it son!" His father beamed and opened the front door of the house, revealing none other than Lila. Who was still wearing her boyfriend's shirt. And Lizzie nervously stood behind her, as her anxiety was flaring up again.

"Oh…Ummm…Hi…" Lila awkwardly said to Leandro, who stood there with a smile on his beak.

"Hi Lila. Don't worry, me and my boy are now trying to…figure things out."

"Oh. That's great to hear!" Lila beamed excitedly as she walked straight past him and gave her boyfriend a hug and kiss on the beak. "Hey you…"

"Hey right back!" He chuckled mischievously as he kissed her on her cheek, making her giggle. "Oh!"

RDJ immediately went to the couch and he held up her shirt and sweater to her. Revealing that he had successfully sewed them up nicely. Although it was pretty obvious from the stitching that they have been sewed together. But she didn't mind at all.

"Huaaa! YOU DID IT!" She squealed excitedly like a little girl on Christmas Day, as if she was opening up her presents from Santa. "You are the best boyfriend ever!"

"And you are the best girlfriend ever!"

"But you're better!"

"Oh am I now?"

"Hmmmm…" Both of them were so cute and smitten together, that the duo had forgotten that there were 4 other guests in the house around them.

"Ahem!" All four of them including Lizzie and Leandro cleared their throats all together. Whilst the robin quickly took some medication that het friend loaned her for her anxiety, and sat on a comfortable chair facing the couches. Leandro just leaned up against the wall, facing the main hall. And Sofia was calmly sat on the couch with Pedro to continue talking about her…big favour that she was going to ask for.

"Oh! Sorry about that!" RDJ felt like a light pink blush was coming, and he escorted his girlfriend over to the couch. As they sat down on the couch facing the other three people sitting down. "Now, what was it you were going to ask me Sofia?"

"Actually…Ummm…I also h-h-had something to ask you?" Lizzie nervously stuttered…as she may have been feeling just as awkward as the cardinals were.

"Right…But let's hear Sofia first? As she was here first." RDJ politely replied, whilst the female robin nodded her head in response. "Okay. What's up Sof?"

"Thanks! So…" She stood up from the couch and gradually began a route of circling the coffee table. Choosing her words very carefully. "Ummm…I don't, normally just do this? But…I was speaking to Pedro and…He said that you are a…investor of some kind?"

"Hmmm…did he now?" RDJ turned slightly to look at his friend with a slight annoyed look. Making him casually nod and pretend to just scroll through his phone. "Okay…just cut to the chase Sofia. How much do you need?"

"Half a million…" She blurted out all at once, causing RDJ to almost choke on his own saliva.

"HALF A MIL?!"

"I know…it's a crazy amount to just ask for! But it's for a really good reason…"

"It better be! Cos right now I'm about to have a heart attack!" RDJ couldn't get over how much he was being asked to give to her. Especially since that is a huge sum of money.

"Look…it's for my mom! She has a really rare heart condition…and I don't have enough to pay for a very expensive procedure that could save her life! Please! I don't want to lose my mom!" Sofia begged in a really saddened tone, cupping both her hands together as if she were begging for own life. "I know that this is a lot to ask for…but I…I…I don't really know what else to do…"

The muscular man was absolutely stunned by what she had just said. On the one hand, he knows that even though he can afford to help her…it would be a huge risk considering that he doesn't make his profit back until the end of the year. And he's still got bills to pay, and he also has other expenses to cover. But…if he would have had the chance to save his own mom's life with a very serious surgery…he would literally rip out his own organs to donate then to keep his mom alive.

"Well…Ummmm…"

"Wait!" Lizzie blurted out randomly, after her medication finally managed to kick in. "I actually had my own issue here that I wanted to talk to you about? You know?"

"Oh…Ummm…What's your issue?" At this point he was open to all suggestions. But…he did start to feel a little tense about the situation.

"I have been struggling to pay off bills at home, as well as me not being able to afford any more medication for my anxiety. So I've had to save up every penny I've got to buy them from a random pharmacy in town. I'm not asking for lot."

"Ummm…how much do you need?"

"About $158,000? Then I can finally start to get things in my life going again!" Lizzie beamed, feeling very hopeful that he could help him. "I mean…it's not like I'm asking for hand a million dollars." That remark was a slight dig at Sofia…and even though she tried to not make it look like an insult…she failed miserably.

"That's true…And that amount is fairly reasonab…"

"But what about MY mom! If she doesn't get this surgery…she could DIE! Surely you of all people would understand how heartbreaking it is to lose someone like that?" Sofia piped up. Not angrily though as she still wants RDJ to pick her investment over Lizzie's.

"That's a fair po…"

"And my own risk of being homeless isn't a big deal either?! I could be evicted by the end of the year!"

"And my mom could be DEAD by next year! I can't emphasise that enough!"

"Ladies…" RDJ was trying to keep the peace by raising his hands up, but that was of no effect whatsoever.

"I think he should help me more! Because I don't want to be homeless again!" Lizzie got close to Sofia's face. But not too close because Lila was holding her back a little bit.

"He should help me more! I've known him longer than you! And I can pay him back by the end of next year!" Sofia threw that in her face, but Pedro didn't even try to hold her back, because he was secretly loving this.

"He should help me!"

"Me!"

"ME!"

"ME!"

"LADIES! PLEASE! I…I…I need some air!" The blue and gold man couldn't take the arguments anymore, and instantly walked out through his back porch. Walking down towards the beach to clear his head.

As for his girlfriend and father, both of them looked at each other worryingly and went after him to check on him. As for Sofia and Lizzie, they continued their debate on who should be given the investment more over the other person. And Pedro was loving this so much, that he actually started filming them.

"Boy…am I gonna be rubbing myself hard tonight!" Pedro naughtily whispered as he kept zooming in on Sofia. But unfortunately…both ladies caught him. And…well…neither of them were happy at all. "Uh oh…"

Let's See If RDJ Is Okay…

Lila and Leandro followed him out of the house, and witnessed him burying his face in his hands. Kneeling down on the sandy shore, attempting any way possible for him to clear his mind.

"What do we do here? Should we go and talk to him?" Lila asked his father, who scratched the back of his head unsurely.

"I'm not sure sweetheart. But…" The older blue and gold man looked behind him to see that Sofia and Lizzie had finished arguing with each other. And have now started teaming up against Pedro, who by the looks of it was begging for them to give him his phone back. "I may be able to help with their…situation."

"How? I thought you weren't left anything in the will when Amber passed away?"

"That's true. But, as Fred's surf manager I get a big percentage of what he gets when he's won competitions and done sponsorship deals etc. So I may be able to help in some way."

"But why would you do that? After all these years?" Lila curiously asked, raising her eyebrow.

Leandro smiled at her kindly and patted her on the shoulder. "Because he's my son Lila. And it about time that I put my younger son first ahead of myself!" Leandro nodded his head and returned to the beach house to talk to the others who were arguing.

As for the lilac female, her number one concern was keeping her boyfriend relaxed and calm after being in a stressful situation.

RDJ continued to rub his eyes. "Ahhhhh…" He groaned in frustration. Panting as if he had been running half a marathon in over half an hour. "This is not how I pictured my evening going!"

"Sweetie?" Lila wrapped her arms around him from behind. Pressing her large breasts up against his back. "Are you okay?"

"Lila…I…I can't help all of them! This is…a lot to ask for! And I'm not financially capable is helping both of them out in one year? I'd have to do one now…and the other one later!" He whined again sadly, as he spun around and gave his girlfriend a warm hug. "I want to help them Lila…but I can't! What am I gonna do?"

Lila lowered her hands and placed one of them on his lower back, whilst the other was rubbing his chest in a circular motion. "Listen…your dad is talking to them. He's going to help you out with them."

He rose his eyebrows in surprise. Would his father really do this for him? "My dad? But…how?"

"That's exactly what I said. But he is in there right now talking to both of them. So hopefully he can help you to find a solution to the stress." Lila sweetly cooed in his ear, whilst noticing that his eyes were tearing up a little bit from the stress. "Wow…I knew that you were a caring guy but…I didn't think you'd be this upset about not helping someone?"

"Oh no it's…it's not just that…" Soon he formed a really dreamy smile on his beak, and he used his hand to brush her hair back. Gazing deeply into her gorgeous purple eyes. "I'm just trying so hard to keep it all together. But now that everyone is telling everyone that I'm a business man, they all want my money. And yeah I'm generous and I'll help out as much as I can. But I'm not a money machine? I don't have over $600,000 to just give away right now!"

"But luckily you don't have to worry about that anymore. Leandro is gonna take care of it. I just hope that…"

"Hey son? Lila?" Speaking of the adolescent macaw, he arrived back on the beach after talking to the two females. Who now appeared to be on their cell phones making phone calls for some weird reason. Both of them looked like they were either excited or even determined for some strange reason. "I spoke to Sofia and Lizzie."

"And? What's the outcome?" RDJ eagerly questioned his father.

"Let's just say that I will take care of them! You don't have to stress about it anymore!" He smiled confidently, as he cupped his hands together. "Now…where do you keep your surf boards?"

"My…what?" Confused as he has been for most conversations with his father, he wasn't able to process what he just asked him.

"Surf boards? Surely you have some of your mother's lying around?"

"Yeah? But…why do you want the surf boards?"

"The weather tonight is going to be fairly decent. And the killer wave isn't due to hit the coast for at least another week. So, I'm going to teach you how to properly surf!" Leandro explained in confidence, whilst he was ushering him toward the house. "Grab us both a surf board and meet me by here. I'm gonna show you a thing or two!"

"But…" Before he could ask him another question, Lila placed her hand on his shoulder and moaned softly in his ear.

"Mmmmm…Maybe it's best not to argue with him and just…do what he says!" She cooed sweet nothings in his ear. Any man who can help themselves to resist such words from the girl they like, must be the strongest willed person in the world. Unfortunately for him though…he can't resist her charms!

"Haaaa…I can't argue with your sweet self." He responded softly, kissing her on the beak sweetly.

"Come on Romeo! Let's get to surfing!"

"Alright dad!" RDJ didn't argue with his father and turned around to get the surf boards for his lesson with him.

But…just as Lila was left alone to watch him walk back up to the house…she noticed one small detail. Especially after parting certain parts of her clothes down. "Huh…Where's my cell phone?"

"Did you leave it inside?" Leandro asked as he tried tooling around on the sand to see if she's dropped it.

"No? I swear I had it on me! Ahhh man! That's the second phone I've lost this year!" The blue female whined. As someone would expect to react after losing a valuable item.

"Once RDJ and I are done with the surf lessons, we will help you find it okay?" Leandro confirmed with a friendly grin.

Not having her cell phone wasn't really the issue with her. It was more the fact she didn't know what had happened to it.

"Well…"

"Lila! Lila!"

A shriek of fear emerged from the shadows behind where she stood along with Leandro. Who was equally confused by the way they sounded.

"LILA! JOSE NEEDS HELP!" The voice actually belonged to Jacqueline. Who by the way she screamed appeared to be very desperate for someone to give her a hand.

"Jacqueline?! What's wrong?!" Lila called out, as the blue female came from behind some trees with blood on her hands. "Holy shit! Is that…blood?!"

"JUST HURRY!" Jacqui screamed and ran back behind the trees.

"Okay…I'll go to my car and get my emergency medical supplies! You go and help your friends!" The older blue and gold man ordered the younger female, who both nodded at each other and split up to do their separate jobs.

But…someone else observed the commotion from a fair distance with a decent pair of binoculars. Just waiting for the right time to do what needed to be done.

"Good…It looks like he did what he needed to! Now…time for the fun part…" The figure whispered to themselves darkly. Before pulling their hood up and covering their beak and nose do nobody would recognise them.

Who was this figure?

Again, I am deeply sorry for the long awaited update of my next chapter ladies and gentlemen. But in my defence, I've been on an adventuring vacation. Doing a tonne of outdoorsy things so…I've barely had time to write! But I'm on my way home now, so I should be able to update more frequently. Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed the chapter and I'll see you all soon for the next one.
