As Sam was being dragged away to her bed with an expression that reminded Harry of a child who had been told that she had to sleep before going to the park, which brought a smile to his face.

Shaking his head, Harry turned to Hudo and said, "So Hudo, you wanted to show something to me."

"Yes, Master, while Hudo and the others were fixing this place, we found something; Hudo wanted to show Master," Hudo said.

"Okay, lead the way Hudo," Harry said. Hudo led him to a lift whose door automatically opened for them as soon as they came close to it, and as they went inside it, the door closed. They began going down without pressing any button.

Although Harry understood that the lift was working by establishing a telepathy link with Hudo as he was the person who knew the destination where they were going, still, it amazed him.

As they came out of the lift at the basement and made their way through the corridor towards a room, which Harry noted was the infirmary. It had multiple pods, which Harry determined were a combination of stasis and healing pod. There was a huge space at the end of the room where an elf size table was placed on which a cauldron was set on a burner. "Are anyone of you sick, Hudo," Harry asked in concern.

"No master, no one among us is sick. This potion is for our guest," Hudo replied, making Harry more concerned.

"WHO?" Harry questioned.

"This way, Master Harry," Hudo led him to one of the pods, which Harry realised was in active mode and had an occupant.

"Who is she? Where did you find her?" There were more questions in Harry's mind, but he decided these were the more critical.

"We found her little away from this base encased in ice. At first, we thought she was dead, but when we got close to her buried place, we detected life signs inside her, so we quickly brought her here and placed her in the pod. Based on the reading, as the ice melted away and the pod came online, she is at least fifty million years old. How is she alive? Hudo doesn't know. " Haudo responded.

"Well, She looks remarkable for a fifty million-year-old. How soon can we wake her, or is it even possible?" Harry enquired.

"Master, we can wake her up now, if we want to, but Hudo will request Master not to order Hudo to do that," Hudo replied. At a questioning look from Harry, Hudo continued, "Master, the being has been frozen for around fifty million years; Hudo does not care if the being is Merlin himself's reincarnation. This must have taken a huge toll on your body. Moreover, she is suffering from a form of Magical fever."

"She is suffering from Magical fever!" Harry asked in alarm.

"Yes, Master, it is a type of it. We have already started giving her the portion; hopefully, it cure her," Hudo replied.

Magical fever was one of the deadliest plagues that rocked the wizarding community. It first emerged in a wizard in Sydney. Who had come from a recent trip to New Zealand? The rate of its spread was so fast that it spread throughout the whole wizarding world within a few months.

The pandemic also spread in the muggle world in 1894. Harry thinks it was called The Third Pandemic of 1894. The effect of the pandemic was terrible, with a fatality rate of around ninety-five percent. The muggle fatality rate was slightly better, around ninety-two to three percent.

The wizarding world was on the brink of extinction because of the wizard-to-muggle ratio, which was heavily tilted in favor of the muggle. Even if the same number of wizards and muggles died as the muggle population was much more significant, they would eventually have recovered. At the same time, the wizarding world would have gone extinct if the cure had not been found.

The cure was found by a muggle-born witch called Sarah Grey. The wizarding world was so grateful for the cure that they awarded her a seat in the Wizengamot and the International Confederation of Wizards. You could understand the face of all the pureblood witches and wizards when a muggle-born was given a voice in the governing body Wizengamot. How did Harry know all this? This subject was one of the least boring and sleep-inducing lectures he had heard in History of Magic class. One of the few occasions Binns moved away from his usual rant on Goblin rebellion.

"Okay, How much time will it take to wake her up safely," Harry asked Hudo, shaking himself out of the thought process.

"Master, according to us, it will take us around three months to slowly and safely wipe out all the virus inside her and then another two to three months to wake her up while building her strength without causing any harm to her," Hudo explained.

Harry nodded and said, "Take as much time as you require, Hudo; ensure she survives. She is our earliest ancestor. I thought they all had died out until you brought me here. She could be possibly the last of her kind."

Hudo, listening to Harry in rapt attention, looked at the woman enclosed in the pod in a new light and said, "Yes, Master, we are making sure that Wise lady is safe and healthy when we take her out of the pod."

Harry nodded and said, "Hudo is there somewhere I can sleep? I think it is enough excitement for one day."

"Yes, Master, we have prepared a room for you. The base commander earlier used it Hudo thinks if you follow, Hudo will show it to you." Hudo replied, and both of them made their way to the elevator, the top floor, and the room, which was more like a suite. Harry was so tired then he did not even have time to admire the room; he just went to bed and fell asleep.

The next morning

As Harry came to the world of waking, he lazily sat on his bed. As if the room felt that he had woken up, The big window glass began to lighten so that light could penetrate it, and he could see the lake which had formed. As much as he wanted to sit and take this view, he knew he could not. Today was too important to just lazying about. So he quickly went to the bathroom to do his daily chores.

Harry was standing in the middle of the suite after having breakfast provided by Dobby in his battle robes and bubblehead charm and apprated out.

Hogsmeade Highlands, Scotland, Great Britain:

Harry arrived in the main square of Hogsmeade with a pop, breathing heavily. The multiple appration it took to get here toke a lot out of him. At least it was better than we he apprated to Antarctica, but that was a story of a different time. Right now, what he was seeing was more concerning. Hogsmeade looked like a ghost town with no one around and did not appear to have lived here for at least a century. Nature had taken back most of the road. Some shoppes roofs had caved in, and that was only what he could see right now. This was far from the Hogsmeade he remembered from his third year and the subsequent visits.

Harry slowly started heading toward his first home, Hogwarts, with dread in his system. The feeling did not dissipate as he made his track. All the roads were reclaimed by nature. The grasses were knee-length, as he had seen in African wildlife videos.

As he reached Hogwarts gates, he found them closed, which was again unusual, but he quickly took out his wand, tapped the door handle, and gave a slight push from his magic to the door.

He quickly sighed in relief when the door began to open the noise coming from its hinges looked like they had not seen use in for a long time, but at least it worked. With a deep breath, he made his way inside.
