Later, Alan and Team RWBY were standing in front of a pen that had screeches.

"Dr. Grant!" said Jacques, the rest of the group following him, "Team RWBY! There you are! As I was saying, we've laid out lunch for you both before you head out into the park. Alejandro, our head chef-"

"What are they doing?" asked Alan.

"Oh," said Jacques, "Feeding them."

A cow in a sling was lifted up, and over the opening.

"Alejandro is preparing a delightful meal for us. A Chilean sea bass, I believe. Shall we?"

"Hey, is there more space hidden under the ground?" asked Ruby, "Because, a 10 by 20 meter long enclosure isn't going to cut it I think."

The cow was lowered, and everyone watched it disappear into the undergrowth.

Just then, rustling could be heard, and a roar, followed by the cow's screams of pain.

Everyone watched in disgust and disturbance as the painful cries died off, and replaced with the sounds of meat sliced and bones crunching as well.

"They should all be destroyed," said a man walking up to the group.

The gang looked over, and saw a middle aged man wearing a safari outfit and sporting a British accent. "Ah, Robert. Robert Muldoon, my game warden from Kenya. Bit of an alarmist, I'm afraid. But he's dealt with the raptors more than anyone," said Jacques.

Alan shook hands with Robert, and asked, "How fast is their metabolism?"

"They're lethal at 8 months," said Robert, "And I do mean lethal. I've hunted thing that could hunt you, but the way these things hunt-"

"How fast and smart are they?" asked Ruby, interrupting Robert, "I've seen pictures of their skulls and brain cavity, showing it large for an animal of their size."

"Maybe Grimm Saber speed," said Robert, "50-60 miles per hour if they ever get out in the open. And they are smart. Even problem solving smart. Especially the Big One."

"The 'Big One'?" asked Weiss, "What's wrong with the big one?"

"We bread eight originally," said Robert, "But when she came in, she took over and killed all but two of the pride. When she looks at you, you can see she's thinking or working things out. She had them attacking the fences when the feeders came. That's why we have to feed them like this."

"But the fences are electrified," said Blake.

"Yeah, but they never attack the same place twice," said Robert, "They were testing the fences for weaknesses systematically. They remember."

The harness was then lifted up, revealing it all torn up, and coved with blood.

"Well, now," said Jacques, "Who's hungry?"
