Biography:

Peter Parker's parents were secret agents who died overseas, working to stop the third Red Skull, a Communist terrorist working from Argel, in Africa. Orphaned as a child, Peter was adopted by his kind Uncle Ben and his wife, loving Aunt May. They raised him with solid moral principles, but the boy was bullied through elementary and high school by his peers.

Attending a science exhibition, Peter was bitten by a genetically altered spider and gained enhanced strength, speed, endurance and agility. He used these gifts to earn some money as a masked wrestler, but after letting a thief escape, the thief stole a car... a car belonging to Uncle Ben, who was shot and killed. Shaken by the results of his selfishness, Peter began fighting crime as the costumed Spider-Man.

Spider-Man made tons of powerful enemies in short order, both garish criminals like the Vulture and Doctor Octopus and the public opinion, galvanized by journalist J. Jonah Jameson, who believed Spider-Man to be a criminal himself. Peter, ironically, worked for Jameson as a freelance photographer.

A major turning point in Spider-Man's life came after the crazed Green Goblin (summonable as a Rider) killed Peter's second girlfriend, Gwen Stacy. The police force assumed Spider-Man had committed the murder and chased him for years. Once his name was mostly cleared, Spider-Man married model Mary Jane Watson, and later briefly joined the Avengers, Earth's Mightiest Heroes, along Captain America, Iron Man, Wolverine, the Sentry, Spider-Woman, Power Man and Iron Fist, all of them also summonable as Heroic Souls.

Class Skills:

Territory Creation: C

Caster is a scientific genius, gifted from an early age, and well able to work with extremely limited resources. His ingenuity impressed even Reed Richards, Mister Fantastic himself, leader of the Fantastic Four.

Given some resources, he can install a very proficient laboratory as long as he gets to work indoors- Caster's bad experiences with the press have left him reluctant to perform scientific work in the open more than strictly necessary. He may act immature and buffoonish but this is a facade to relieve his tension and throw his opponents off guard. When a serious matter arises, Caster will rise to its challenge accordingly.

Item Creation: A

Caster can use limited, paltry resources to build all sorts of crime fighting tools. As a teenager, he built a spider tracer that lets him track his enemies through long distances, a spider signal that blinds and disorients targets, and web shooters placed in his wrists, which spray a sticky substance similar to the web of a spider. This web traps Caster's enemies, even the stronger ones, when applied in sufficiently large amounts. Caster also uses it to swing acrobatically from one building to the next, and in a pitch, it can even be used to make simple tools like garrotes and pitchers.

Working in union with likewise scientific minded Casters, Caster can design artifacts such as a machine that would syphon Cosmic Power from Galactus, high powered sonic cannons, and modified Avenger Quinjets for the team.

Personal Skills:

Does Whatever a Spider can: A+

Caster is extraordinarily strong and fast for a Caster class Servant. The spider bite granted him the proportional strength and agility of a spider. He can lift cars without any actual effort, and when under extreme pressure and adrenaline he can even lift a truck with great effort for a short time.

Caster has enough velocity to dodge bullets in battle, and a slight healing factor. His most incredible spider-like trait is a 'Spider Sense' borderlining on precognition that acts like a radar to warn him of impending danger. This sixth sense lets him feel hostile intent from individuals who would act friendly to him, also acting to instruct him on the path a closing attack is coming, even if it arrives from behind him.

Golden Rule (Fake): D

While Caster usually lived in misery, he had some success as a member of the Avengers living in Tony Stark's tower for a few months, and through the best part of a year he was at command of Fortune 500, a company Doctor Octopus started when he was inhabiting Parker's body.

Since both stints were quite short, the Servant only owns enough material riches to cover some expenses and help the Master's financial woes. Overall, if Caster wants to make financial investments, the Master must rebuke them firmly, as Caster was disastrous at handling money.

Ventriloquism: D

A little known skill of Caster, unrelated to his spider powers. It seems that he learned voice mimicry and ventriloquism somewhere during his boyhood, probably as a hobby. This can be a tool to turn enemies against each other, as he did manipulating the Green Goblin, the second Vulture and Electro.

Noble Phantasms:

Spider-Buggy: E

A small four wheeled vehicle Caster once put together with the purpose of driving through New York's alleys. Painted red and blue, the Spider-Buggy quickly became a laughingstock for supervillains, gangsters and fellow superheroes alike, and Caster came to regret it as a mistake. In any case, it left enough of a shameful stain on his Saint Graph it can be called forth as a summon.

The car is frail, doesn't run that much, and doesn't have any weapons to talk of. But it can run up the walls like Caster himself. Passengers won't fall off the Buggy as it goes up, although odds are they'll rather jump themselves in embarrassment.

Into the Spider-Verse: EX

Anti-Fortress.

A Reality Marble produced by an extraordinary canon event. A touch between dimensions that left a mark on Caster's Saint Graph. When Spider-Man was pulled into a crisis affecting several planes of existence, he achieved some level of awareness and held over a limited True Magic binding him to his counterparts.

Much like Archer Darkwing Duck's Crisis on Infinite Darkwings, Caster summons a deluge of alternate reality Spider-people, all of them also summonable as Heroic Spirits in their own right, to help him while his mana supply lasts or he calls the Noble Phantasm off. These include the second Spider-Man Miles Morales, an alternate timeline Gwen Stacy in the mantle of Ghost Spider, the cartoony Spider-Ham, the grim and gritty Spider-Man Noir from the year 2099, spunky robot pilot Peni Parker, the delinquent Spider-Punk, Spider-Man India, the clone Scarlet Spider, and Doctor Octopus as the Superior Spider-Man, among many others.

This Noble Phantasm demands astonishingly high supplies of prana to work, but if it does, it's likely some other Master from some other dimension is contributing by also sending their own Spiders into the fray. This might just lessen the pull on the Master.

Summon: "Servant Caster! Bet you were expecting something else, weren't you? My True Name is a secret, but... Can't you tell from looking at the suit? My publicity agent will get an angry call!"

Beginning of Battle:

"Your friendly neighborhood Caster is here!"

"I look more like an Assassin? Flatterer..."

"Avengers assemble! I always, always wanted to say that!"

"Caster-Man... Caster-Man... Radioactive blood... Caster-Man..."

Attack:

"He swings! He hits!"

"Never upset a New Yorker, pal!"

"Smile for that camera!"

"That'll hurt tomorrow morning!"

Damage:

"You'll hear from my lawyers!"

"Mister, that's superhero cruelty!"

"I'm the good guy here!"

"Was it anything I said?"

Victory:

"I make this look easy!"

"A photo for J. Jonah!"

"Wanna hear the story of my life? Once, I was bitten by a radioactive Caster..."

"That was fun! Let's meet again next week!"

Defeat:

"So maybe we didn't start with the right foot..."

"I won't tell if you don't..."

"It only hurts when I swing..."

"I pulled my punches back..."

Defeat by Noble Phantasm: "Mary Jane..."

Noble Phantasm Activation:

"Do I really have to do this? No joke? Oh man. Spider-Buggy..."

"Take a breath! We can do this. Brace yourselves! Take a look... Into the Spider-Verse!"

Dialogue Samples:

"Norman... NORMAAAAAAAAN!" (When you have Rider Green Goblin).

"Torch! You can't live without me, can you? You came all the way to this place just because you missed me, admit it. Ouch! See? The Thing would never react like that!" (When you have Rider Johnny Storm).

"Ockie, my man! Truly, strange situations make for strange bedmates! Y' know, Ockie, I want the upper bunk! That's not open for debate!" (When you have Lancer Doctor Octopus).

"What's with that frown, Frank? If I didn't know better I'd say you don't like seeing me here! You can start banging your head against the wall whenever you want to." (When you have Avenger Punisher).

"A fan, right? Don't fret, girl, Spidey will sign your autograph book! Spidey's a friend to all children!" (When you have Caster Nursery Rhyme).

Birthday: "Happy birthday, Master! Man, I still feel dumb saying this 'Master' thing... No, no offense! Look, I'd love to give you a nice fat cake, but... I'm broke right now!"

Event: "What? There are no Spider-Man giant balloons there! That makes me mad! What kind of festival are they running? Geez!"

Holy Grail: "Monkey paw! A monkey paw! Take it away from me! I learned from experience!"
