Chapter 24: Epilogue
As the morning started to come around, the cats all scattered out of sight. "Wow. That was the most incredible thing I have ever been a part of." Neville said. "I agree. This was incredibly magical." Carmelita said. "Yeah, this was awesome." Peyton said. "I am glad that you enjoyed it, my friends." Old Deuteronomy said as he approached the heroes. "Old Deuteronomy, thank you for making us a part of this marvelous celebration." Harry said. "The Jellicle Ball was the most beautiful ball we've ever been to." Hermione said. "Yeah, we all had fun." Ron said. The others nodded in agreement. "I thank you all. It was a pleasure to have you all at the ball." Old Deuteronomy said.
Harry looked at his team with a smile before looking back at Old Deuteronomy. "Well, I think it's time for us to leave." He said. "He's right. We have to be on our way." Hermione said. "So many universes to see. And there's still the Cabal on the loose." Najarin said. "Then I guess this is goodbye." Old Deuteronomy said. "I believe so." Harry said. He and Old Deuteronomy shook hands, but then Old Deuteronomy pulled him into a hug. The others grinned at that before joining in the hug. "Know that you are all welcome in our tribe at any time." Old Deuteronomy said as everyone pulled out of the hug. "Thank you." Harry said. The heroes all turned around and walked off towards their ship as Munkustrap, Tugger, Mistoffelees, Demeter, Bombalurina, Victoria and Jemima walked over to join Old Deuteronomy, watching them leave.
Later, as the heroes returned to their ship, they were preparing to take off. Suddenly, there was a knock on their boarding ramp. They walked over to see Munkustrap, Tugger, Mistoffelees, Demeter, Bombalurina, Victoria and Jemima standing next to it. "Munk? Guys? What're you doing here?" Cho asked. "We're going with you." Bombalurina said. The heroes were surprised to hear this. "We talked with Old Deuteronomy and he said it was okay." Tugger said. "If there really are other universes where you guys are going, then we want to see them." Demeter explained. "So that we can tell stories about them to our future children when we come home." Victoria said. "And if this Cabal you spoke of before is planning to take all of the known universes, then we want to do what we can to help." Jemima said. "And the rest of the Jellicle cats will be ready if we need their help." Mistoffelees said. "So, will you have us?" Munkustrap asked. The heroes looked at each other before turning back to the cats. "Welcome to the team, Jellicle cats." Harry said, offering his hand. Munkustrap smiled as he accepted the hand.
Meanwhile, Macavity, revealed to be alive, but badly injured from the electricity, slept under a dumpster he called his den as it rained. Suddenly, there was a knock on the dumpster's front, waking him up. "Who's there?" He asked as he walked to the entrance. As lightning flashed in the rainy sky, his visitors were revealed to be Voldemort, El Jefe, Slurhk and Witty Phantom. "Who are you?" He asked. "Someone with a very interesting proposition for someone like you, Macavity." Voldemort said. This grabbed Macavity's interest. "What kind of proposition?" He asked with a wicked fang-revealing smirk.
