A/N: Here is Chapter 15!
It was peaceful, yet unreasonably quiet at Ferro Fett's ship as it was orbiting around the planet. Maracturne was sitting in his quarters, on a white and green hammock. Having a little cigar in his mouth that he stole from one of the monster attacks, he was laying down in his green painted quarters, reading a comic book. As he was reading, he laughed as he was looking at the pages.
"Those robbers didn't know what was coming to them," he said, "Look at all of that weaponry!"
Turning the page, he was smiling as he was looking at the next page. He was laughing, reading more. No sooner he turned the page, the door opened in his quarters. Looking up, Maracturne's eyes gazed at Ferro Fett, who walked in.
"Are you having fun?" he asked.
"Yes, I am," said Maracturne, "I mean… it's not every day Shockhound, Cremelia or Turnchou do it all. I am so glad I am taking the day to do nothing."
"Correction, you have slacked off for a while," said Ferro Fett, looking at him as he looked around, noticing the mess in his quarters. He shook his head as he turned around, "Maracturne, when I hired you to join my crew, what was your job?"
"Simple: Security and Tactical," said Maracturne, yawning, "But, no one has invaded our ship and I created an app to give to Shockhound, Cremelia and Turnchou to use to enlarge monsters without my assistance… even though they make me get up to press the button."
"… Well, I think you are slacking in your duties," said Ferro Fett, crossing his arms. Maracturne stood up as he looked at Ferro Fett. Maracturne puffed a smoke ring in front of Ferro Fett as he snarled, "I don't have any duties right now. You pretty much kicked me to the curb. So, I just hang here."
Ferro Fett turned around as he looked at the door, "Well, start cleaning up. I have orders for you."
"Me?" asked Maracturne, looking at him, "I'm supposedly useless."
"Gircannon asked for a report on his crystal quest. He said that your skills could harness it. Seeing you haven't done anything in a while," he said, "At least, since the Gold Ranger showed up… also… he is worried about your 'duties'."
"Duties?" asked Maracturne, looking at Ferro Fett, "Really?"
"Yes… Blazehound?" asked Ferro Fett.
The door opened again. Maracturne looked up as he stared at the creature. It was a humanoid Hisuin Arcanine with rocky armor from head to toe. It also had blue eyes with a black moustache as it had a green and white binder and a notebook. He also had a grey and white wand with glasses.
"What in the world?" he asked.
"I am Gircannon's creation: Professor Blazehound. You are going to get evaluated today on your skills to defeat the Poké Rangers."
"Evaluated?!" asked Maracturne in surprise.
"Yes! Shockhound, Cremelia and Turnchou all got evaluated," said Ferro Fett, looking at the scores, "Distinguished, Proficient, Proficient…. And as of right now you have a Needs Improvement rating."
"WHAT?!" asked Maracturne, "Needs Improvement?"
"That means if you don't do your job, Ferro Fett will have to execute you or exile you depending on Gircannon's orders," said Blazehound, looking at him with a smile. Maracturne shrugged as he looked at Blazehound, shaking his head as he looked at Ferro Fett. Maracturne turned around as he went closer to Blazehound, "Alright, teach. What Professional Development do I need to do to improve my score?"
"I'm glad you asked," said Blazehound, smiling, "Let's go to the bridge for debriefing."
Chapter 15: Maracturne's Wild Adventure
The sun was shining beautifully into Lisa's apartment as she opened her eyes. Climbing out of bed, she was dressed in a pink t-shirt with blue sweatpants, yawning as she went to stretch. She walked toward the kitchen as she went to turn on the tea maker that was currently on the counter. Her grass Pokémon were all sleeping as she went to turn on the tea maker. Pouring water, she went into one of her drawers, which had a rack of Kantonian Tea. She picked up a red label. It was Cinnabar Caffeine Green Tea mix, made from the ashes of the Cinnabar Volcano with a little bit of herbs, shaped in a capsule. Putting the capsule into the tea maker, she pressed a few buttons as she placed a pink cup under the dispenser. She walked into the bathroom, going to brush her teeth. Brushing her teeth, she was humming along as she was getting ready for the day, looking at her Dino Com on her wrist. She was a little early today. Grinning, she turned around as she smelled the essence of Cinnabar Island fill her apartment. Lisa walked back into the kitchen, where Meganium was just slowly waking up.
"Good morning," she whispered, petting Meganium.
"Mega…nium," she grinned, rubbing her head on Lisa's arm. Her Sceptile, Breloom and Leafeon were all waking up slowly. Unfortunately, with Tropius and Torterra, she couldn't have them out in the apartment due to space so she would have to feed them outside when she was dressed and ready. Plus, with her research, her two Pokémon need a lot more sleep. Breloom hopped on the bar stool of the kitchen, looking at Lisa as she turned around, "I am making your special breakfast. Sceptile, can you get the honey jar for me?"
"Scept…," Sceptile responded as he walked toward the cabinet. Sceptile was able to memorize where some of the stuff was in Lisa's apartment. As he picked up a special jar of honey from the cabinet, he handed it over to Lisa. Lisa petted him as she went to make their favorite dish for grass type Pokémon: Rainbow Essences. It was amazing, not also due to taste, but it helps Grass-type Pokémon maximize their potential. A little bit of bananas, honey with a Rawst, Oran, Cheri and Pecha Berry combination. Combining them into a pan, she is able to make at least 12 to 18 cupcakes for them. She turned around as she knelt down, looking at Leafeon who was hugging her right leg.
"Leafeon, did you have a good sleep?" she asked.
"Leaf…," she said, grinning.
Lisa grinned as she was finishing up. Within a few minutes, she was able to get the mixture in cupcake form, ready to divide. She, of course, saved some for Torterra and Tropius. However, four Pokémon hanging out in her apartment was great for company. Lisa grinned as she walked toward her room, "I will be right back!"
Within seconds, she changed into her pink t-shirt with green pants and sneakers. She then opened her walk-in closet, grabbing a white jacket. As she walked toward the Pokémon, the sound of Sceptile's roar filled the apartment as the door opened. A human yell struck out as Lisa walked over.
"Sceptile, what did I talk to you about greeting our guests?" asked Lisa.
Sceptile placed his hand on his head as Lisa walked over to the front door. Noticing that Mack was slashed in the face, probably by Sceptile's Leaf Blade attack. Mack looked up as he turned to Sceptile.
"You grass types annoy me," he grumbled.
Sceptile's eyes narrowed as he smacked him across the face. Lisa shook her head as Mack looked up, "Okay… maybe I deserved it."
"Ever learn to knock?" asked Lisa, "My Sceptile is still learning on how to greet guests he doesn't know."
"Ah," said Mack, looking at Lisa, "Well, I thought you were dead so I swung the door open. You were supposed to do training with me at 7 in the morning. It's 9!"
"I know… I overslept," said Lisa, "I partied too much with Leona and the others."
"Did Joe roll all over the dance floor?" asked Mack, looking at Lisa, rolling his eyes as the pink ranger turned around, "No… actually."
"No?" asked Mack, "So, it was just…"
"Myself, Leona, Atticus and Joe," said Lisa, looking at him, "Grayson went to visit Laguna out in Eterna City and I had no idea where Kyland went."
Mack turned around as he looked at her, "Well, I would love to go the next time."
"We did try to call you," said Lisa, drinking her tea, "Then, Leona told me that you go to bed super early."
"I went to bed at 9…," said Mack. Lisa laughed as she looked at him. She shook her head, "I was home by midnight."
"That is late!"
Lisa shrugged as she turned to him. As she finished her tea, she turned to see her Pokémon finished eating, "I have to get Tropius and Torterra fed. You are more than welcome to hang here. But, my Pokémon need to run around before we train."
"I'm sure hanging with you will be fine," he said, turning to her Sceptile. Sceptile turned around as he had a grin with his eyes gazed at Mack.
"Sceptile…," she said, grabbing Torterra and Tropius's Poké Balls, "You do any damage…"
Sceptile nodded, gulping as she went outside on the balcony. Throwing her Poké Balls, Torterra and Tropius arrived.
"Good morning!" shouted Lisa, "I'll be down in a second."
She turned around as she noticed Mack and Sceptile throwing punches at each other. Lisa groaned as she went to walk into the apartment. Meganium looked terrified, seeing what was going on.
"It's okay. Mack will learn how to get along with Pokémon eventually," said Lisa, walking toward the door, "I'll be back in a few minutes."
Meanwhile…
Maracturne walked into the bridge, learning that the meeting was in a different room. Walking across the bridge, he opened the door, seeing Cremelia, Turnchou, Shockhound and Ferro Fett, sitting in chairs in the conference room.
"Look who's alive," said Cremelia.
"Shut it," said Maracturne, sitting in the chair.
Maracturne turned around as he went to see Blazehound walk toward him. However, he had a screen display with his binder open.
"Professor Blazehound, reporting for duty. Our evil boss, Gircannon has asked me to grade you on performances. You need to have a Proficient rating in order to be a part of the team to take over the world," he said, "One of you met Needs Improvement. That means, if one person falls in it, the whole crew gets an Unsatisfactory Rating."
"You mean to tell me we are in here because of Maracturne?" asked Shockhound, looking at him. Angrily, he turned around as he looked at Blazehound, "This is ridiculous! Why are you even here?"
Maracturne looked down as he looked at Blazehound, "This is what I have to deal with."
"No, no, no… don't say anything!" said Blazehound, "Remember, you get evaluated with the Gircannon Framework of Evil. He adopted it with the help of Queen Mariah of the Hoenn Region… well before she got destroyed by the Poké Rangers in Hoenn."
Blazehound clicked the slide. The villains looked at it as they saw four different domains. Maracturne stood there in surprise as Blazehound pointed to each one.
"Domain 1: Evil Personality- Do you have a corrupt mind? Do you have evil in your soul? You need to have this in order to do this. Some of you managed to fall in different spots."
He then pointed to the next domain.
"Domain 2: Job Responsibilities: Do you do your job to the fullest? Do you help other villains to complete your mission?"
He then walked over to the next domain.
"Domain 3: Battle- This is the most important part. Do you take part in battles? And if so, how frequently?"
He turned around as he looked at the fourth domain.
"Domain 4: Professionalism- Which many of you lack. Do you respect your leader? Do you follow through with your leaders?"
He turned around as he looked at the villains. Cremelia shook her head as she stretched her hand out, "Why do we have this?"
"It was invented after what happened in Hoenn. You guys just magically appeared to this time just when everything happened. But there were Poké Rangers in the Hoenn Region and they slaughtered every single empire: Mariah's army, Dawson's army, etc. They even shut down Team Magma and Team Aqua. But, with research, we were able to develop an evaluation system so that way you can defeat the Sinnoh Rangers. Gircannon does not want Sinnoh to grow a new fleet of rangers and seeing that there are seven rangers using those Energy Crystals… he fears that Sinnoh will have another army. This is where you come in. Maracturne will be leading the next operation with my help," said Blazehound.
"You've got to be kidding me," said Maracturne.
"You refuse to do this, I have to fail the whole crew," said Blazehound, "Gircannon's orders. If you fail, you will all have to report back."
Maracturne rolled his eyes as he looked at the others. Turnchou and Cremelia looked at him with concern. Shockhound walked over as he reached over toward him, "You're going to get a proficient score… or I will do the honors of executing you."
Maracturne gulped, "Where do we begin?"
Oreburgh Mine, ten minutes later…
Flashes of green and red appeared in the mine as Maracturne and Blazehound examined the area. Luckily, the Oreburgh Mine was closed for today so that way it was just the wild Pokémon are able to roam freely without cause. It also gave them a chance to relax from any trainers that were nearby. Maracturne and Blazehound were sneaking past the whole entire field of Onix. Onix, who were digging around, were looking around as Maracturne and Blazehound decided to sneak in.
"This is the dumbest idea to go into a minefield," he said, walking around.
"And why is that?" asked Blazehound, "Do you want to know where the rangers hang? This is it."
"What do you mean this is it?" asked Maracturne, "They are usually in the Oreburgh Museum… or hanging out somewhere-."
He stopped walking as he felt something different on his foot. Maracturne turned around as he noticed a dinosaur marker. He noticed the metallic plate as he looked at Blazehound. Blazehound laughed as he noticed it, "I've been finding them in some parts of the city. You might need this."
Blazehound reached into his pocket as he saw a green box. Maracturne looked up as Blazehound stepped on a button. He then realized it wasn't working.
"How?" he asked.
"Good question," said Maracturne, "Maybe it has to do… oh, you can't enter unless you have an Energy Crystal, possibly!"
"You know that for a fact?" asked Professor Blazehound.
"Well, there are seven rangers," said Maracturne, "Each one carries a crystal Gircannon wants! Or at least Ferro Fett wants them first…"
Professor Blazehound grinned as he looked at him, "Well, you definitely do know your stuff. Now, we just need some rangers."
Maracturne slowly nodded as Blazehound opened his binder, "So far… so good."
Ten minutes later…
Maracturne and Blazehound were walking along Route 206. The two of them stopped as they were watching Lisa and Mack on the training ground. Mack had his Golden Amber Saber out while Lisa had her Bastiodon Drill. The two were at it, fighting for practice. Mack kicked her in the stomach, only for Lisa to block it. She used the drill and pressed the ground, causing Mack to go off balance. As Mack landed on his back, Lisa went to strike with her drill. Mack rolled across as he went to strike again. Blazehound laughed as he looked at him, "Now watch."
Mack wiped off the sweat from his face as he looked at Lisa, "That was a little dirty."
"Sometimes, you just need to play dirty. You know Ferro Fett doesn't fight clean!"
"… What's with you?" asked Mack.
Lisa turned around as she looked at him, "Nothing. You have been very critical lately."
"Critical?" asked Mack.
"Yes, critical," the pink ranger stated.
"Wow, your mouth," said Mack, looking at her.
Lisa turned around as she crossed her arms. Before she could say anything, Lisa turned around as she looked at Mack, "Give me a minute."
"But…," said Mack.
"I said… give me a minute," Lisa stated, walking away from the training grounds. By herself, about a tenth of a mile away, she walked over as she went to get a glass of water, just trying to not argue with Mack. As she went to grab a bottle of water, a stream of flames appeared, heading toward her. Looking straight across, Lisa fell to the ground, barely missing the flames.
"Wonderful, just wonderful," said Lisa, getting up, noticing Blazehound. Professor Blazehound laughed as he and Maracturne were watching.
"What are you doing here?" asked Lisa.
"Simple," said Maracturne, activating his machine gun, "To get a proficient score on my evaluation!"
Pulling the trigger, green bullet seeds rang out as Lisa dodged the attack. Explosions appeared as she landed on the ground.
"Great… this day just gets better and better," said Lisa. Maracturne laughed as he swung his gun at Lisa. Lisa blocked as she went to punch him in the face. Lisa squealed as she touched his needles. Maracturne laughed as he smacked her on the ground. Blazehound watched as he was recording the scores.
"Excellent in battle… he is showing strength," said Blazehound, writing it down. Maracturne went to shoot again, only for Lisa to use her Fossil Blaster to shoot Maracturne down. Maracturne fell as she reached for her Fossil Charger.
"Let's Poké Battle!" shouted Lisa, "Fossil Charger, Energize!"
As she went to press the button, Maracturne laughed as he pressed a green button on his smartwatch. Upon doing so, the Mooks mysteriously appeared, grabbing on to Lisa. Lisa squirmed as she tried to break free. Maracturne laughed as he pressed a blue button on his gun, "Say goodnight!"
BAM!
A blast of sleep powder covered her as Lisa fell asleep. The Mooks laughed as he turned around as they grabbed her Energy Crystal and Fossil Blaster. Maracturne laughed as he looked at them, "Perfect!"
"Hey!"
Turning around, Mack was running toward him with his saber. Snapping his fingers, the Mooks were ordered to attack. As the Mooks kept Mack busy, he grinned as he grabbed Lisa, "Thank you, Pink Ranger! This is perfect!"
As Maracturne and Blazehound disappeared, Mack continued fighting. Mack turned around as he went to strike with his saber. The Mooks were hit as Mack swung across. Looking up, the Mooks jumped up with their weapons. Mack gulped, only for black and green pulses of energy to strike. Mack turned around as he noticed the other rangers running toward them. The five rangers withdrew their Fossil Chargers and placed them in the blasters. Spinning them, red, black, green, blue and aqua energy surrounded them.
"Fossil Blast!"
Five blasts of energy destroyed the field of Mooks. Mack rushed over as soon as the Mooks were destroyed. As flashes of their suits appeared, Mack took a deep breath as he looked at them.
"Thank you," said Mack.
"Anytime," said Leona, looking around, noticing Lisa's shoe on the ground. She turned around as she looked at Mack, "Where is she?"
"That's what I am worried about," the gold ranger said, turning to Leona, "Maracturne and that new monster I saw must've done something."
Mack clenched his fist and threw it to the ground. Grayson turned to look at him, "Hey, we'll get her back. We just need to trace her energy crystal…"
"That is, if Maracturne didn't take it," said Leona.
Grayson gulped, "Oh… yeah, that's going to be a biggie."
"Hey guys!"
Joe looked down to notice his Dino Com picking up volume. It was from Roark as he went to respond, "What's up?"
"Um… I need you in the museum. There's something you need to see," said Roark.
Oreburgh Museum…
The rangers went through the glass doors, going through the main lobby as they were heading to the security office. Running through the hall, Leona opened the door as she saw a petrified Roark looking at the security cameras. Drake was also sitting there as he was looking at what was going on. Roark turned to see the other rangers, who seemed concerned with Roark's call.
"So," said Roark, "I closed off the mine, right?"
"Yeah," said Leona, "It's closed on Mondays for the wild Pokémon to roam around."
"Right," said Roark, "Well, I went to go feed them and one of my wild Onix was petrified as he went to see me. Of course, I looked at the security monitor. Why in the world is Maracturne and a monster touching one of the plates on the floor?"
"Wait…," said Leona, looking at it, "That's an entry point to Dino Paradise."
"Yeah," said Joe, "They are scattered throughout Sinnoh in case we need to be there."
Kyland laughed as he looked at them, "Guys, relax. He needs one of our Energy Crystals and the Fossil Blaster to enter."
Grayson looked at Kyland, turning to him with a look of annoyance. Drake turned around as he looked at Kyland. Grayson went to pat Kyland on the shoulder as he looked at him, "… Uh, if Lisa is captured, Kyland… that means he has the crystal and one of them is going to be at our base."
Grayson turned around as he walked over to one of the cabinets. Opening it with a key, he turned around as he grabbed a black case that had the former Fossil Tracer. He looked up as he pressed a few buttons. As he looked at the scanner that was attached, he nodded slowly as he saw a pink blimp. Not also does it look for new crystals, but it can track existing ones. He nodded as he was looking at the region. He saw the pink crystal in Orebrugh City and then it disappeared.
"That's it," said Grayson, "… Maybe Maracturne went into the mine and teleported to Dino Paradise?"
"Why is he at Dino Paradise?" asked Leona.
"Simple. To destroy it," said Drake, turning around as he looked at the red ranger, "Get moving!"
As the rangers went to go, Mack turned around to follow them. However, Drake placed his hand on Mack's shoulder. Mack turned around as Drake looked at him.
"What's up?" asked Mack.
Drake looked at him as he turned to the gold ranger, "If you want to rescue Lisa, you need to listen to me."
Meanwhile…
Maracturne stepped down the stairs as he was looking at Dino Paradise. He stood there as he was looking at the area. He turned around as he took out his camera. He grinned as he went to aim at certain pictures. Taking pictures of the Fossil Charge station. He then walked over as he was noticing the extra batteries, taking photos. He turned around as he was looking at the screen. He laughed as he was looking at the area.
"This is amazing," said Maracturne, "I can't wait to bring this to Ferro Fett. And… well, it's time to blow things up!"
He laughed as he reached for his brown bag. As he picked up a golden explosive, he went over to place it on one of the tables. As he pressed a button, he turned around as the bomb started ticking. Maracturne laughed as he turned around, "Well, at least second time's a charm."
He turned around as he went to grab Lisa's blaster, "Time to go-."
"Home?" Leona asked, crossing her arms. Leona, Grayson, Atticus, Joe and Kyland held their Fossil Blasters up, aiming at Maracturne. Maracturne dropped his bags as he looked at them.
"Uh oh… I'm in trouble," said Maracturne, gulping.
Maracturne stood frozen as the rangers stood in the entrance way. Joe stepped forward as he looked at Maracturne, "What are you planning on doing Cacturne-breath?"
"That's none of your concern. Once I leave, this place blows and I can't stop it," said Maracturne.
Leona and the others took out their Fossil Chargers, "Well… you're not leaving this place alive. Let's go team!"
"Fossil Charger, Energize!"
Pressing the Fossil Chargers, energy flew through them as they did a dance. Turning around to face forward, the rangers pressed the chargers in the blasters.
Fossil Charger, Energize!
Spinning the blaster, the rangers turned around as they struck the Fossil Blasters in the air, "Unleash the Power!"
Pulling the trigger, flashes of red, black, blue, green and aqua energy appeared as they bathed into their suits. Maracturne pressed a few buttons in his machine gun, released green bullet seed blasts. The five rangers flew across as they started shooting, causing a whole shoot out. Maracturne turned around as he laughed more, trying to shoot. Joe hid behind a pole, which was sprayed with bullet seeds.
"We have you surrounded cactus face!" shouted Joe, taking out his Fossil Saber, shrinking it to connect with the Fossil Blaster, "Sorry, Drake…"
Placing his Fossil Charger in the Fossil Blaster, he clicked it. He turned around as he aimed at Maracturne, releasing a spray of bullets. Maracturne gulped as he started running for his life. Maracturne groaned as he hid behind a pole, looking at the gold explosive.
"I do need to go," he said. Sighing, he pressed a green button as his submachine gun transformed into a green shorthanded automatic weapon with a brown strap. Bullets that had needles in them were placed in his weaponry, "Say hello to my little friend… Needles."
Turning around, Maracturne appeared as he pulled the trigger, releasing a spray of 30 green needles, piercing Joe's armor. Joe yelled as he landed on the ground. Joe fell on the ground as Atticus turned around, "Joe!"
Maracturne pulled the trigger as Atticus dodged the attack, watching a pole explode in response.
"He don't play," Joe said, cringing. Atticus grabbed his Fossil Blaster that was already combined with his own as he looked at Maracturne. While Kyland, Grayson and Leona were doing cover fire, Atticus drew up both weapons as black and blue blasts appeared. Maracturne was hit as he looked at him, "Say hello to these bad boys!"
"Atticus is gun happy right now. Someone needs to stop him," said Kyland.
"No way! We need to defeat this poor excuse for a villain!" shouted Grayson, "Keep firing!"
Maracturne and Atticus went at it as Dino Paradise became more than just a peaceful temple. The foundation was shredded into pieces. Luckily, the Fossil Charge Stations were not affected by the bullets.
Meanwhile…
"Where am I?"
Lisa turned around, noticing that she was in some type of compartment. Looking up, she noticed Cremelia and Turnchou laughing as they were standing. Lisa noticed space as she looked at Ferro Fett. Ferro Fett laughed as he looked at her, "Why if it isn't the Pink Ranger… the smarty pants of the group."
"Shut it, Ferro Fett," said Lisa, noticing she was tied to a chain, "Horrible as usual."
Professor Blazehound laughed as he looked at her, "And everything is going according to plan. If Maracturne succeeds, he can a Distinguished rating and your crew will be considered Satisfactory!"
"Satisfactory? You mean to tell me this was all for a job rating?" asked Lisa, rolling her eyes, "This means…"
"You're on my ship… my rules," said Ferro Fett, laughing as he was looking at Lisa. Lisa turned around as she was looking around, trying to figure out where to go. Shockhound placed his hand on Lisa's chair as he snarled, "I can't wait to put you on a pedestal for our boss and an example to everyone on Earth."
Lisa turned around as she looked at Blazehound. Professor Blazehound grinned, "So, we know that your friends have Energy Crystals. But there's three more. Do you know where they are?"
"I don't know. When I want to look for them, I'll look for them," said Lisa, being real about the whole thing.
Cremelia laughed as she aimed her cake blaster at Lisa's face, "If you are going to talk to us like that, I'm going to give you a makeover."
"Besides, once that bomb destroys Dino Paradise… your doomed," he said.
"Wait… what do you mean? I thought you had my blaster!" said Lisa.
Ferro Fett grinned as he turned to Blazehound. Blazehound grinned back, "You see, pinkie… Maracturne has access to Dino Paradise. There's a bomb right now currently there. Once that blows, your crystals are pretty much useless, and we get to take them."
As the conversation was continuing, there was someone walking right outside the conference room. Turning around, he looked at the bridge, noticing what was going on. As he walked in, he turned around as he was looking at the consoles.
"Well," he said to himself, "I have no idea how this is going to work."
Turning around, he pressed a blue button in one of the stations. As he did, the ship started to shake a little. The ship started to break out of orbit as the ship was shaking. Turning around, he noticed the door as he saw Ferro Fett and Shockhound.
"You!" shouted Shockhound, "How'd you get here?"
Mack grinned as he looked at Shockhound. He had a red and black wristwatch in his hand, "Blazehound left his communicator while he was observing… looks like someone needs to improve."
"YOU FOOL!" shouted Ferro Fett.
BOOM! The villains yelled as they were hit by golden beams of energy. Turnchou rushed over as he noticed the Aerodactyl Zord flying across, shooting them down.
"The Aerodactyl Zord managed to get to space!" shouted Turnchou, "How?"
Immediately, Mack flipped over as he walked toward Lisa. Lisa turned around as Mack revealed his Golden Amber Saber. Slashing the chains, Lisa stepped up as Mack rushed over. The Mooks followed as Mack swung his saber, slashing them. He turned around as he looked for his morpher. Pulling the silver sling, golden beams struck the systems as they erupted. Blazehound looked angrily as he looked at Mack. He turned around as Mack pressed the red and black button on the watch, "So long, evildoers!"
A flash of purple energy surrounded them as they teleported to the Aerodactyl Zord. The Aerodactyl Zord flew down toward the planet's surface. Professor Blazehound looked at Ferro Fett, "Send a message to our employer about this. I can see why Maracturne's evaluation is hard. If you'll excuse me, I will handle this."
"Noted," said Ferro Fett, "I want those crystals just as much as he does!"
As the Aerodactyl Zord landed right outside of Oreburgh City, Mack and Lisa managed to walk out as they were dashing.
"We need to head to Dino Paradise!" shouted Mack.
A stream of flames erupted as the two rangers landed on the ground. Professor Blazehound landed on the ground with his teacher pointer. The pointer enlarged into a bo staff as he turned to him, "You… ruined everything for Ferro Fett. I can see why you guys have been giving them a hard time. Our leader will know about this."
"Who? Gircannon?" asked Lisa, laughing, "Suuuure."
"I'm serious," he said.
"Great," Mack grinned, "My name is Mack. It's so nice to meet you."
As Blazehound grumbled in anger, Mack took out his Fossil Charger, "Fossil Charger, energize!"
Pressing the button, a golden aura surrounded his energy crystal into the fossil charger. He did a little spin, creating a dance as he placed his hand on the morpher. Pulling a lever, the energy slot opened to place the charger inside.
Aerodactyl, Energize!
"Unleash the Power!"
Closing the slot, he pulled the slot with his finger. A golden aura shot out of the morpher as an Aerodactyl emerged. Mack was bathed in his ranger suit.
"Aerodactyl! Dino Charge Gold!"
Professor Blazehound grimaced at his response as he went to strike him with his bo staff. The two of them went at it with their weapons. Each attack was a parry. As his footwork increased, Blazehound swung across as Mack flipped backwards. Mack landed on the ground as he took out his Golden Amber Saber. Golden energy surrounded it as he swung across, striking the creature. Blazehound yelled as he stumbled. As he stretched out the staff, flame bombs struck as Mack dodged each one. He performed a shoulder roll as he jumped up from the grass. Blazehound looked up as he saw what was about to happen. As his blade was coming down, Blazehound began to glow in a red aura as he channeled his staff began to reach out. Immediately, a golden aura surrounded the blade as it broke. Blazehound was hit as he was struck.
"Now, the finisher!" shouted Mack.
Mackenzie placed two golden energy chargers in his saber. Pressing them, a golden aura surrounded his weapon.
Landing on the ground, Mackenzie swung his saber across as a golden aura surrounded it.
"Golden Amber Saber, Thunder Fang Slash!"
Swinging his saber, a yellow bolt of energy appeared with yellow and electric teeth emerged. The teeth broke into Blazehound's armor as he screamed with energy. Mack turned around as black and red energy exploded. Mack placed the Golden Amber Saber behind his back, "That's what you get."
Lisa grinned as she walked over toward him, "Thank you!"
Mack grinned as he looked at her, "You're not mad at me?"
"No. Right now, though…" Lisa said.
"Yeah, we got to go to find access to Dino Paradise," Mack responded.
The two rangers were running toward Oreburgh City, noticing a black and metal plate with their logo. As the two rangers arrived on the plate, Mack pressed the button and pierced the plate. A golden and pink aura surrounded them as they disappeared… into a warzone.
"WHAT IN THE WORLD?" asked Lisa.
As the firing stopped, Leona turned around as she looked at Lisa. Lisa stood in shock, seeing Dino Paradise in shambles. Leona walked over, "You made it!"
"Yeah, I made it," said Lisa, "Thanks to Mack! Now, where is Maracturne?"
Maracturne looked up as he started laughing hysterically. Lisa turned around as she stretched out her hand. Maracturne looked down into his brown bag as the pink crystal emerged out of the bag onto her. The Fossil Blaster left Maracturne as Lisa grabbed it. Lisa turned around as she took out her Fossil Saber.
"Maracturne, I hope you failed your job evaluation! I can't wait to send you packing with your bomb," she shouted.
"Uh… bomb?" asked Maracturne.
"Where is it?" asked Lisa, walking toward him.
Maracturne laughed as he looked at her nervously, "I… I… I…."
Lisa grabbed him and threw him on the table. The rangers stood in awe as an unmorphed ranger threw Maracturne on the ground. Maracturne groaned as Lisa pointed her blaster, "You better tell me."
She turned around as she noticed the camera on the floor, specifically Maracturne's. She used her Fossil Blaster and pulled the trigger, exploding it. Maracturne screamed as Mack turned around with a golden device. Mack walked over as he grabbed him with the device. Mack turned around as he looked at Drake, who appeared.
"Uh…," said Maracturne, "I can't get this bomb to disarm."
"That's a shame," said Drake, releasing a blue aura. Maracturne turned around as he looked at Drake. A blue aura surrounded him, "What are you doing to me?"
"Wiping your memory of this place…," he said, "Mack, now!"
Mack and Lisa turned around as they grabbed him. Throwing him to the exit point, Lisa shot the platform causing Maracturne to disappear. Lisa turned around as she sat down. She shook her head as she turned around, looking at the camera, "And… look at this. He was taking pictures."
"Where did you end up?" asked Leona, helping Joe up.
"Simple. Ferro Fett's Conference Room," said Lisa.
"And I was on the ship," said Mack, looking at Lisa, "Bravehound was dumb enough to leave his teleportation device down. So, Drake found it and I used Aerodactyl to get to the ship."
"Smart," said Joe, looking at him, trying to breathe, "It sucks that we couldn't get a map of the ship so we can blow it up."
Lisa grinned as she looked at him, "That would've been phenomenal."
Meanwhile…
"Those rangers really piss me off," Ferro Fett said angrily, looking at them, "Yes, they upset me so much."
As the door opened, the villains saw a heavily injured Maracturne. Maracturne turned around as he was damaged in bandages.
"Maracturne! What happened to you?" asked Cremelia, walking over, "Where's Blazehound?"
"Blazehound… the last thing I remember is that Blazehound captured Lisa… and then I blew up," said Maracturne.
Shockhound turned around as he looked at the screen. He banged his fists on the console. He turned around as he looked at Ferro Fett, "Boss, Blazehound was destroyed."
"Destroyed?" asked Maracturne, "What about my evaluation?"
"You passed," said Ferro Fett, "Sadly… you did. But, I'm thankful for it."
"Did you find their base at least?" asked Shockhound, looking at them.
"That's the thing… all I know is there's this blue light that was in my head. I don't recall," said Maracturne, looking at Ferro Fett. Ferro Fett grumbled as he looked at the villains. He raised his hands in anger, "That wretched Drake."
"Drake?" asked Shockhound.
"He turned back time and wiped Maracturne's memory of Dino Paradise," said Ferro Fett, "Okay, Drake. This isn't over… No no nooooo… I can't wait to finish him off."
"Well, at least I know where the entrance plates are," said Maracturne.
Ferro Fett turned around as he looked at him, "Maracturne, if I know Drake, he will change the whole routing system so that way you or anybody else can't find it again. The Oreburgh Mine plate is probably gone."
Maracturne sighed as he looked at the others, "Well, I am going to go rest. However, those rangers… whatever they did to me… they are in a world of hurt."
Later at Lisa's Apartment…
"Ugh…"
Lisa walked into her apartment as she placed her shoes on the mat. She placed her Fossil Blaster in the kitchen drawer as she walked toward the kitchen. Lisa placed her dirty dishes into the dishwasher as she turned on the dishwasher. She turned around as she was wiping the countertops, getting the kitchen somewhat clean for the next day. She yawned after having a long day. Battling Blazehound and Maracturne, while saving Dino Paradise from yet another bomb just made her exhausted a little bit. As she went to the fridge, she opened up a bottle of Celadon City Merlot as she poured it into a glass. As she closed it, she heard a knocking sound on the front door. Lisa walked over as she went to open the door. As she opened it, Mack was standing across.
"Hey," said Lisa, "What's up?"
"Couldn't sleep," said Mack, "May I come in?"
Lisa shrugged as she opened the door. Mack walked in as he noticed the clean kitchen, unlike his own apartment. He turned around as he looked at Lisa, "Are you okay after today's events?"
"I guess," said Lisa, walking to the living room to sit on the couch. As she sat on the couch, she reached for the remote, to turn off the television. She sat with her legs crossed on the couch as Mack sat down next to her. Lisa looked at him and then at the television, "Mack, can I tell you something that I haven't told anybody?"
Mack raised his eyebrow, "Well, what do you mean?"
"I haven't told Drake or anybody," said Lisa, looking at him. She turned to Mack, "I almost wanted to give up and hang my helmet today."
"Like quit?" asked Mack.
"Yeah," she said.
"Lisa, this is your duty! We have to save Sinnoh," said Mack.
Lisa turned around as she looked at him, "I know! But, it wasn't because I was afraid to fight. It was because I miss home. I miss Celadon City."
"Celadon City?" asked Mack, "Your hometown?"
"Yeah," said Lisa, looking at her wine, "I have been missing home a lot. Leona is in a different spot because of what she experienced. Atticus and Kyland are used to traveling. Joe grew up in Sinnoh so he can go back home anytime and Grayson has done so much survival training at a young age, he's practically used to not being homesick! It is one of the hardest things to talk about. It's hard to even to tell Erika I won't be back. I was supposed to return to Pokémon Nursing School so I can continue my dreams of being a nurse."
Mack turned around as he looked at Lisa, "It must be hard not seeing your loved ones."
"It definitely is for sure. I miss Erika's matches when new trainers come… or even experienced trainers. That's how I learned so much and I want to learn more. And of course, I'm sure it's harder for you. You are from a different time and dimension," Lisa mentioned. Mack nodded slowly as he turned to her, "I'm adjusting… slowly. It's hard that the culture today is different than where I was in the Dinosaur Kingdom. But, I am glad I was able to make friends in such a short time. Especially, with you."
Lisa grinned as she placed her hand on his knee, "I'm glad."
Mack looked over as he reached into his pocket, "I have something for you."
"What?" asked Lisa.
Mack grinned as he released two tickets. Both were purple and it had a pink ribbon on the end, "Tomorrow night: Pokémon Contest in Jubilife City. Would you like to go?"
Lisa laughed, "Mack, I would love to go! How did you get them?"
"I got paid today by Roark for the museum and I figured I would use my money to purchase tickets," said Mack, grinning. Lisa giggled as she turned to the gold ranger, "You are so weird… but that's what makes you awesome."
Mack grinned as he got up from the couch, "Well, I bid you sweet dreams. I have an early shift tomorrow at the museum."
"You got it," Lisa said, grinning, "Sleep well."
Mack smiled as he opened the door, closing the door behind him. Lisa grinned as she looked at her glass of wine. Smiling from ear to ear, she reached for her green Pokétch that was on her coffee table. Picking it up, she went to her contacts and pressed a few buttons. She heard a few rings as something clicked.
"…. Hello?"
"Hey, Erika! It's your cousin. How are you?" she asked, smiling.
Next Chapter…

However, an interesting celebrity is working on fighting with a robotic Lucario, which is what Shockhound needs to finally feel full. However, the rangers also learn that another Energy Crystal has been active. Where could it be? Find out!
Poké Rangers Dino Charge Chapter 16: Shockhound's Robot
A/N: Well, that was fun to write! I figured it would be fun to use this episode. The original episode had Maracturne's bomb go off during the fight, but I figured it would be easier to do something different and original. This chapter is specifically a Kyoryuger-based episode. Actually, I think last week was also somewhat of a Kyoryuger-based episode too... I think. Either way, I was super duper excited to write this because I had some freedom to pretty much write about Maracturne. Also, if you look at both of Maracturne's counterparts from Dino Charge and Kyoryuger, I feel that character is just comedy relief or just there. So, I wanted to expand Maracturne's character better and I hope you had a chance to have fun reading this.
So, Blaze... are we having a theme song this season?: It is a very popular question, so I figured I would answer that. I am sure you are probably wondering if I am also putting a theme song to this and I need to work on it. I'll be honest... I wasn't going to at first because my writing has literally been archiving to 7,000 to 8,000 words a chapter, or if it gets spicy, 10,000 words and that is a lot for readers to digest. There will be one or two chapters coming up where it's like 20-30 pages of story. However, rather than me decide... I'll have you decide! If you want me to add a theme song, just send a review about it... or message on discord. Either way, I am okay with either decision.
Next chapter, as you saw, we are on the next arc. So, I will see you next Friday!
