"Myra… yes, I recall that name as well." Emperor Brr mused. "Indeed, she was the nicer one out of the two."
"Eh? What you talking about? V was a bit odd yet I never got any… "bad" vibes from her." King Boo said.
"She poisoned my entire kingdom. She's lucky that she is no longer with us, otherwise I might just freeze her solid for her Zuteregeon mess. Plus, I always felt a bit weird around her…"
"Maybe she's just really passionate given by the notes we've seen." Dimentio said. "If anything, she might get too blinded by her passion at times and Myra has to knock her off her pedestal a bit."
"That could very well be the case." Medusa said.
"Hmm… there might be more to this." Dry Bowser mused. "So far, all we know of this V is that she's a bit of a wild card when it comes to science."
That's an understatement. Emperor Brr thought. "If she can bring a dragon back to life with this kind of thing, she can also make an entire race go extinct. I'm not exactly keen on her being "benevolent"."
"We'll find out soon enough." Locus said.
"Calling it now, she's batshit insane that would make me look tame!" Felix said.
"...You? Tame?"
"I know, it's ironic but you gotta go with the-... oh hey, it's warming up again."

"Gemite Jungle?" Locus wondered.
"Ah, I get this. This is like a goldmine. You just gotta dig for gems in a lush jungle! I mean, it makes the most seeeee-"
Felix stared at a crystalized palm tree in front of him.
"...Ooooor everything is made out of gems. That works too."
BGM: Crystal Islands (Spyro 3: Land of the Dragons)
World 6-1: Crystal Paradise
Medusa walked up to a tree, seeing a crystalized banana as she pulled it off, then took off the peel as she tore off the tip of the banana and gave it to the Psycho Piranha. It took one bite… and fruit juice gushed out and smacked Felix in the visor.
"Ack!" Felix yelped.
"Oh?" Dimentio picked up a strawberry and took a bite. "Mmm! It's got some fruity creamy filling in it!"
"That's because the Gemite Kingdom is home to Gemite Fruit. It has a fruity flavor inside that when you bite into it, it gushes into your mouth for an extra pack of flavoring." Emperor Brr said. "They shipped out to the City of Jannah all the time, and we sometimes go to this kingdom to pick the fruit ourselves. The locals are pretty friendly too."
"Yeah, but you failed to mention it gushes out and squirts people in the face!" Felix pointed out.
"That happens sometimes."
Felix groaned, taking his helmet off as he wiped off the juice.
"So do they ship it to the Mushroom Kingdom as well?" Medusa asked.
"They used to, until something happened two hundred years ago."
Two hundred years ago
"We got a new shipment coming in!" A Gemite said, their clothing consisting of diamond shirts and leggings, their hair was also sprinkled with gems. "It's heading for the Mushroom Kingdom!"
"Sounds good!" Another Gemite gave a thumbs up as he started to process it. "Two shipping containers full of Gemite Fruit… oh goodness, I feel a bit…" He yawned. "Tired…"
He fell asleep at his computer, his face slamming on the 0 key as it added a few zeroes before he rolled his head, his ear hitting the print button. "Zzzzz…"
Instead of two containers, it was now two thousand containers being shipped to the Mushroom Kingdom."
"Whoa whoa whoa WHOA." Another Gemite foreman spoke up. "This is all too much! We only ship out a few of a time, not a thousand of 'em! Do they think our Gemite fruit grows on trees overnight!"
"I mean… ? blocks get refilled magically overni-"
"I do not care! They're stealing our supplies! Those greedy bastards are gonna ruin it all! Shut the trade route down!"
"B-But sir, don't you think that's a bit dramatic to shut the trade rou-"
"SHUT. IT. DOWN."
A few hours later…
"Zzzzzz… wha…?" The Gemite woke up. "Aaah, that was a good nap… wait… ooops!" He deleted the zeroes. "That could've been awkward… good thing I didn't hit the print button!" He smiled as he hit the print button and then walked off.
"Sir, we just got another order in from the Mushroom Kingdom! Two containers"
"CUT OFF COMMUNICATION FROM THEM UNTIL THEY LEARN NOT TO BE GREEDY!"
"Sir, you're not in charge of the whole Gemite kingdo-"
"DO IT NOW OR YOU'RE FIRED!"
Back in the present…
"Turns out it was just a clerical error, but thanks to that hot headed foreman, the damage has been done. Although I've heard a rumor that communications finally opened up again due to that red plumber that came by years ago."
"What is the life span of the Gemites?" Dry Bowser wondered.
"Oh, they have a long life span, but not as long as ours. They live to be around… a hundred and fifty years. They have a new foreman that's way more level headed."
"That's good to know." Medusa said as they walked through the jungle as some Ptooies danced around in the forest, juggling watermelons and bananas to their heart's content.
They would see a lake in the distance, and when they got closer to it, it would see it was sapphire. "Watch, the water is gonna be sapphire stones." Felix said as he reached down and scooped up some water, which indeed, was actually sapphire. "Holy shit, I was joking!" He exclaimed in surprise as some Gemite Cheep Cheeps, covered in diamonds, breached out of the sapphire and landed back in, causing some sapphire gems to splash about.
Felix pressed his fingers against the stones. "Huh, squishier than I thought." He mused as he squished all the way, which in turn caused water to spray out and struck his visor. "Okay, I should've seen that coming."
"At least you're not sticky anymore." Dimentio said as they walked off, watching a few sparkling Biddybuds go about their day as they reached a sapphire waterfall as they scaled the mountain until they got to the top of the waterfall, where they would see the sapphires coming out of a gem cave.
"Another cave?" Dry Bowser wondered.
"Probably prettier than the last one we went into." Medusa said as they walked inside.
World 6-2: Amethyst Caverns
Once they walked inside, they would see the walls were covered in amethyst. "I dunno, I feel like the Zuteregeon Ice Cave was prettier." King Boo said as they went around, as some Gemite Monty Moles dug around, collecting amethyst carrots for themselves or stealing a few Amethyst Mushrooms.
As they continued wandering around, they would see the path lead to them climbing up some stairs as they climbed up, although Dimentio and King Boo floated over them. "Show offs…" Medusa mumbled as they got to the top where they came across a pathway, where the pit below them had sharp amethyst stalagmites with a few skeletons between them.
"Poor bastards…" Locus said as they went through the pathway as they walked into a wall, which made them go up higher as they went through another pathway that was basically the same room but higher until they went out toward the exit, which they came across a room filled with diamonds, rubies, sapphires, emeralds, amethyst and other such treasures.
"Wow, talk about hitting the payload." King Boo said.
"I'll just go ahead and take some of this and-... wait, why are these rubies soft? Oh, don't tell me!" Felix growled as he picked a ruby up, then he aimed it at the Amethyst wall as it spat out a red liquid, which some of it splashed off of the wall and hit Felix's visor. "Oh come on!"
"Hmmm…" Dimentio wiped some of it off of his visor and licked it. "Mmm, strawberry!"
"This is probably where they mine for gemite and make food out of it." Dry Bowser said.
"Seems like a never ending supply." Medusa said as they walked off and found more gems in each room before they found the exit, where they found a sparkling shiny village in front of them.
World 6-3: Welcome to the Village!
The group walked through the town square, where several Gemites had spotted them. Dry Bowser looked at the Gemites in surprise. He was expecting average sized people, but instead, they were about three feet in size.
"Ah yes, I forgot to mention they're quite… small." Emperor Brr mentioned.
"Fascinating… I never thought I'd be taller than them…" Dimentio mused as they saw the chieftain approach them.
"Welcome to our village, weary travelers! We don't often get visitors these days."
"How often do you do?" Medusa asked.
"The last visitor we had was the hero of the Mushroom Kingdom himself. Back then, our history had lots of visitors from the world over. Mushroom Kingdom, City of Jannah, even Hoarfrost Highlands! Of course, due to circumstances, we stopped shipping our supplies to those areas… however, we're in the final stages of getting our trade route back up and running with the Mushroom Kingdom. Princess Peach is such a kind negotiator."
"Who else do you ship out to?" Dimentio asked.
"Sarasaland, Dinosaur Island, the Beanbean Kingdom… and as of a few months ago, a land known as Mistral if you can believe it! Heck, we just started shipping off to Atlas!"
"Any place else?" Dry Bowser asked.
"That's about it. We are but a humble village…"
"Fascinating… do you produce edible gems in this village?" Locus asked.
"We are the only place in the world that we do. Everyone else tries to make themselves special by making them hard as rocks. The nerve of them… there's no love if you can't eat a diamond. It's just hollow! No love! No compassion! Just a world composed of greedy hollow boneheads."
The group sweatdropped. "Uuuh… right…" King Boo blinked.
"Oh! Pardon me, I just got lost in my own anger. Apologies!"
"I think the juice got to his head…" Felix mumbled.
"Actually, chieftain… there was another visitor that dropped by recently… about a few days ago." A villager said.
"Ahhh, yes, that interesting individual. He was quite hungry. I've never seen one eat so many Gemite in one sitting… his metabolism is incredible! Quite the insatiable appetite."
Dimentio paled at the thought. Oh great… Kirby's here. He thought.
"An insatiable appetite?" Dry Bowser mused. "Heh, interesting."
"We'll be on our way." Emperor Brr said as they walked off.
"Wait! Before you go, don't turn to the left, there's a vile creature there that hasn't been tamed for-... aaaah… they're gone. I'm sure they'll be sensible enough to not engage it."
"Did he say "to not go to the left"?" Dimentio wondered.
"Now I'm wondering what's over to the left." Felix said, seeing a fork in the road as they went to the left out of curiosity.
World 6-4: Insatiable Appetite
They walked further up until they saw a quarry filled with gemite. As they got closer, they would see a dull red, rocky Chain Chomp with thin magma lines going across all around it sleeping soundly. It woke up as soon as it heard talking as it snarled.

"Oh, is that it?" Dry Bowser asked as the Chain Chomp broke free of its chain and let out a vicious howl.
Fiery Temper - Carbon Chomp
"Ah, this is going to be easy." Dry Bowser said as the Carbon Chomp snarled as they both lunged at each other, the former delivering a punch that knocked the Carbon Chomp back as it leaped into the air and chomped down after it landed on the emperor.
Dry Bowser shoved it off as he got back up, unleashing a "come at me" gesture while the Carbon Chomp licked its chops as they both lunged again.
Suddenly, there was a whistle that stopped the Carbon Chomp in its tracks as it turned around and barked happily, hopping over to the whistle in question. "Did you find some edible grub for me, my precious?"
"What the heck?" Dry Bowser wondered as they saw who it was. A tiny spaceman with Pikmin by his side. "It's just a tiny spaceman!"
"I am not just a tiny spaceman. I am none other than Louie!"
LOUIE?! - Louie
"You all look rather tasty as well…" Louie mused as he pointed to Dry Bowser. "Your bones will make a nice broth or jus."
"...Beg pardon?"
Louie pointed to Medusa. "Your snakes… I've heard they taste like chicken. I wonder if I could make them into a snake stew-" He pointed to the Psycho Piranha Plant. "And have a little bit of basil on top of it."
He pointed to the mercenaries. "Your helmets could make a nice bowl. I wonder how your brains taste?"
"WHAT THE FUCK IS FUCKING WRONG WITH YOU, YOU FUCKING SICKO?!" Felix yelled while Locus slowly backed away while Medusa looked incredibly creeped out.
Louie pointed to King Boo and Emperor Brr. "Perhaps I could make some ice cream along with some Boo cookies as well."
"You… seriously need help." King Boo said.
"That'd be some very… unhealthy ice cream." Emperor Brr sweatdropped.
"As for you-" Louie pointed to Dimentio. "You'll make a nice dog treat for my pet."
Dimentio sweatdropped, snapping his fingers and conjured up a couch and a chair, he also summoned a notepad and a pen. "I see you have some issues that need to be worked out. Why don't you sit down and we can talk about it?"
"Ah, a notepad. I think I can use it to write down the recipe."
Dimentio blinked, throwing the notepad behind him. "I'm diagnosing you as terminally insane."
Louie looked up at Acidtail. "And perhaps… a desert. That green substance I ate earlier tasted just like some jello. You're chock full of it."
"...I'm just gonna… fly away to a safer distance." Acidtail flew away while Medusa created a portal and disappeared, taking Locus along with her.
"Alright, you sicko! Prepare to get vaporized!" Dry Bowser unleashed his Oblivion Fire at him, to which Louie casually threw out a Red Pikmin who took the full brunt of the Oblivion Fire. Once the Oblivion Fire stopped, the Red Pikmin pulled down some shades and tossed away a reflecting mirror. "...Oh." Dry Bowser blinked.
Louie then pulled out a Gemite Mushroom and tossed it into the Carbon Chomp's mouth, where it happily ate it up and started crystalizing, where Louie climbed aboard the Chomp and whistled.
BGM: Werehog Battle (Sonic Unleashed)
A Dog And His… Terminally Hungry Master? - Crystalized Chomp and Louie
With a whistle, the Crystalized Chomp snarled as it spat out crystalized fireballs as Dry Bowser batted them away while Felix aimed and fired at Louie, but he pulled out Rock Pikmin to defend himself, then threw them at Felix, where he batted them away.
The Crystalized Chomp then breathed out crystal fire, complete with crystalized lava plumes as Emperor Brr froze the fire while King Boo threw will o wisps at them, which a few Red Pikmin caught the will o wisps and juggled them back and forth, to which King Boo fired lightning at them, only for a Yellow Pikmin to take the full brunt of it.
"You're kiddin'!" King Boo growled as Dimentio aimed his Keyblade directly at the Chomp.
"If Sora can do it, I can probably do it as well." He said, proceeding to Airstep to him, only instead of launching himself, he instead teleported to Louie, snapped his fingers to make them levitate off the ground.
"Order in the court!"
A massive wall of light came slamming down on them, resulting in a powerful light implosion that knocked them down to the ground, which stunned them for a little bit while some Pikmin died from the implosion.
Louie and the Crystalized Chomp brushed it off as the former then whistled, making the Crystalized Chomp to leap into the air and chomped down at Dimentio, but he warped away and used a magical Ragnarok to smack them into the air, knocking them both to the ground.
However, Louie was not deterred as he threw his Yellow Pikmin at Dimentio, where they latched onto him and started shocking him. "Ow! Yow! Off, you damn mosquitoes!" He said, brushing them off.
Dry Bowser leapt over and swung his arm, where the Crystalized Chomp dodged as Pikmin jumped onto his furry arms, proceeding to smack him around. He simply brushed them off, but he took one look at the Purple Pikmin and decided to throw it, which caused a small shockwave to happen near the Crystalized Chomp, stunning it.
"Oh no…" Louie mumbled as he grabbed an Ice Pikmin and threw it at Dry Bowser, only he grabbed it and with a chuckle, he chomped down on the Ice Pikmin, which froze him solid while the Ice Pikmin's ghost faded away… but Dry Bowser broke free of the ice a moment later.
"That cooled me right down!" Dry Bowser backhanded the chomp, where it snapped out of it and unleashed a powerful lava breath as Dry Bowser did the same thing, both of them colliding… while some Red Pikmin swam through the lava and into Dry Bowser's blue fire and proceeded to hop onto Dry Bowser's head and smacked him around.
Not that it hurt him, it just mildly annoyed him as he smacked his head as if they were mere mosquitoes, flattening the Pikmin.
"Hey weirdo! Here's a blueberry!" Felix tossed a Plasma Grenade forward as the Crystalized Chomp lunged forward and chomped down… only for it to expand when it exploded, which in turn, caused the Crystalized Chomp to explode and sent Louie flying into the air before he slammed down into the ground.
End BGM
The Pikmin yelped, running over to Louie while screaming and then picked him up, proceeding to carry him away. "Hup too, hup too, hup too…"
"Alright, I'm gonna-"
"Don't. He's not worth it." Dry Bowser said as Felix lowered his gun as a portal opened up as Medusa walked out with Locus.
"Oh good, he's gone." Medusa said.
"Such a peculiar person…" Emperor Brr mused.
"Okay." Dry Bowser turned to Medusa. "The heck were those?"
"Pikmin. They each represent a different element. Red is resistant to fire. Yellow is resistant to electricity. Blue is resistant to water and is the only one who can swim. Purple are heavier Pikmin that can easily knock out a Bulborb. White is Poison and can knock out an enemy if they eat it. Rock Pikmin are also heavy but when flattened, they don't die but are buried. However, I've heard if you put them against solid ground and crush them, they'll die. The Pink Pikmin are Winged Pikmin and are the only ones who can fly. I've also heard of such Pikmin called Ice Pikmin and a Pikmin type that only comes out at night… I believe they are called Glow Pikmin. They may not look much, but in large numbers, they can take down gigantic creatures such as an Emperor Bulblax."
Dry Bowser blinked. "Soooo, not even I can stand a chance against hundreds or thousands of those?"
"Exactly."
Dry Bowser sweatdropped. "The things you miss when you're dead."
They all proceeded to walk off, finding their way around as the path soon joined back with the right path as they walked ahead… and found a lab. Once they got closer, they would see Louie knocked out with several Pikmin guarding him while one Pikmin tried to commit CPR on the guy.
"Leave 'em." Dry Bowser said as they went for the notes.
Locus picked up the first note.
"Edible gems. EDIBLE. GEMS. Goodness gracious, the things you find in this world! Not only that, but I decided to do some experiments on these Gemites. Apparently, if you mix in a Ztar with Gemite, you get lava. LAVA.
Okay, technically, not actually lava, it just melts the exterior and you get a gooey mess, but apparently it makes it hot to where it has the same substance as lava. Holy SHIT, the amount of scientific breakthroughs I'm getting is insane! The liquid gushy goodness inside of the gemite can make the liquid hot as lava with the Ztar. These things are incredible.
…Imagine if I can weaponize this. Ohohohoho, I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it! The science community will praise me for my efforts! CAN YOU SEE IT NOW, ELVIS GADD?! I AM GOING TO DETHRONE YOU, YOU SEXIST PIG.
Ahem, apologies… I need to do more research on this. The fact that I can weaponize this… well… it's untapped potential! I wonder if Myra will appreciate this… after all, she IS my guinea pig… better cross that out… oh shit, here she comes. I'll just cross this out later. Better flip this page over!"
Locus flipped the page over.
"Gemite tastes like your average fruit. Kinda boring… but eh, what can you do? - V."
"She's becoming unhinged." King Boo said. "Agh, who was V again?"
Felix pulled up the second note.
"I dunno why V thinks the Gemite is boring. It tastes pretty good. Maybe she was expecting more? Well, to each their own. But I'm starting to get worried about her. Ever since that Zuteregeon incident, she's been… getting a bit unstable. I wonder if it has to do with the Ztar?
SQ thinks she's been always like this and is slowly showing her true colors overtime, like her guard is dropping. Sure, she's a LITTLE crazy, but… aren't all scientists like that? I could be wrong. But something's… changed inside of her.
I need to make closer observations with V from now on. Maybe I can snap her out of her senses? Maybe ask her why Elvis P. Gadd acted so harshly to her. She was his star pupil and he just… ends up being a sexist loser? No wait, it'll probably set her off. I need to avoid that.
Maybe if I can mix some tea with this Gemite, it can calm her down and we can have a pleasant conversation. She tends to worry me a lot… and that Zuteregeon incident is… alarming. I don't think she apologized to the emperor as far as I know…
Regardless, I hope these close observations can have me steer her back on the straight and narrow. After all, she's my best friend. There's no possible way she'd be using me for her own gain, right? Haha, that's crazy talk. - Myra"
"Ooooh, that's unfortunate…" Locus said.
"Elvis P. Gadd. Seriously? Was he that much into rock and roll?" Felix wondered.
There was a third note that caught Medusa's attention. "Hang on, there's a third note." She said as she looked into it.
"Mix some Gemite together along with some fresh stew meat. It'll enhance the stew flavor. Perhaps throwing in a few Gemite bananas will add more to the flavor. Louie"
Everyone sweatdropped at the third note.
"Ah, there you are, Louie!" A voice said as they turned to see Olimar casually walking in. "So sorry, he tends to be quite the troublemaker." He said as he picked up Louie. "Hope he didn't cause you any trouble."
"No no, no trouble at all." Dry Bowser lied.
"That's a relief. First time for everything!" Olimar said as he walked off with the Pikmin behind him.
Once the door closed, Felix breathed a sigh of relief.
"Finally! I thought he'd NEVER leave!"
