Hey everyone! I am truly sorry for the very long wait, either way, thank you SO much for being patient everyone! I will try to have this chapter as detailed and long as possible, as I consider this the darkest chapter I have made so far! Btw, I have other fanfic ideas that will come up as soon as I finish this story! Enjoy Lu beans! As I am sure this chapter is going to be a great one!
Disclaimer: I DO NOT own the Loud House as it belongs to Viacom and Nickelodeon. (Sorry I forgot to put this disclaimer in the last two chapters.)
Chapter 3: A Jokester is Welcomed to Hell
As the brunette was sleeping, her roommate, Luna slowly paced into the room at about 4 P.M. She violently shook in fear of her younger sister, who would be ready to prank her in some of the most violent ways you could imagine. As soon as she fully approached Luan, she realized a stressed Luan fast asleep in her own bed.
Luan was curled up into a tight ball, where it looked like her blood vessels were about to explode, due to how much her kneecaps were digging into her soft, skin-colored flesh of her wrist. Luan's buck teeth were a nasty gold color, shaded by both the bunk bed and the light that bursted into the room from the hallway (which always bothered the siblings), including the somewhat weak light, that would provide Luna and Luan to help them with both their comedy routine, and music routine. It helped Luna assume that Luan didn't brush her teeth this morning.
It wasn't only that, that made Luan look like she was sick and ill. Luan's hair was COVERED in rat's nests. Her ponytail was divided into multiple tangled strands of brunette colored hair, along with the rigged edges that came along with it. The rest of her hair, which was the widow's peak, was as messed up as her ponytail was. Luan's widow's peak had multiple strands of hair sticking out of the fluffiness of her hair, to the point the middle of her widow's peak (usually the most bald spot), could be covered with many thick strands of hair. For the two long hairs that would always stand in the front of Luan's face, had VERY rigged edges. The two strands of hair were zig-zagged, going opposite directions of each other.
Two other things scared the crap out of Luna, which were Luan's eye bags and her clothing. Her clothing was withered and wrinkly within every inch of her goldish-yellow, checkered pajamas. All of Cliff's old fur, that was shedded onto Luan's pure white bed sheets, stood on Luan's itchy and hairy pajamas. Then, Luan's eye bags. The bags of her eyes dug into her tiny and weak eye sockets, that held in those huge, shiny eyes in. Her bags surrounded the entirety of her eyes, which was a mixture of a nasty looking purple, a somewhat peach looking color, and a small portion of pink. The sight of her younger sister terrified Luna, as every single time Luan has looked like this, it always makes Luan look like a disgusting looking werewolf, which reminded Luna of Lupin from, "Harry Potter," in which, he turned into a werewolf.
"Hey, sis? Are you ok? You look more awful than Micheal Jackson failing the moonwalk!" Luna quietly asked her younger sister.
Luan couldn't hear the voice of her sister, so Luna asked again in a little louder voice:
"Sis? I'm trying to ask if you are ok! Please awnser, you're freaking me out!" Luna cried.
As soon as the raspy voice reached Luan's ear drums, she only responded with a creaky groan.
"Dude! C'mon! I'm worried about you! You know how excited you are when April Fools is coming near!"
When Luan heard what Luna said, she started to silently cry in her sleep. This caused Luna to worry even more than she usually does for Luan.
"What the heck is going on?! Sis, please! This is very unlikely of you! Just simply tell me what's going on! I swear I won't tell anyone else!" Luna screamed silently.
Luan started to shift her head towards the voice of Luna, and sleeptalked, "Leave me alone, Luna!" She mumbled.
"Woah dude! Take it easy! I will leave you alone, alright!" Luna terrifyingly admitted.
Luna jumped onto the top bunk, and instead of listening to music. She only laid down, with her head shifted to her left side, looking at Luan's bunk bed.
"Hope you're ok sis, I hope you are ok…" Luna whispered.
3 hours later, the other Loud siblings approached the 3rd and 4th eldest sibling's room, wondering why they haven't gotten up from their respective beds, especially Luan.
"Guys, Luan hasn't come downstairs ALL day! Also, Luna promised she'd be right back downstairs when she checked on Luan! Should we check up on them?" Lola asked.
"I mean, I don't hear any sort of conversation between the two, so I guess we should," Lana awnsered.
"Alright everyone. But let's be cautious of Luan, you know that it's the day before April Fools, right?" Lincoln noted.
"That is true though, Stinkoln. Who knows? Maybe she could've trapped Luna somehow, and is planning to trap us?" Lynn Jr said.
The Louds only shook in fear after hearing what Lynn had just mentioned, even if it was very possible.
The Loud kids barged into the room of Luan and Luna, and saw them both laying peacefully on their respective beds.
"Dibs on not trying to wake up Luan!" Lynn silently shouted.
The sisters touched the very tip of the cartilage in their noses, leaving Lincoln being the one that had to wake her up.
"Crap!" Lincoln shouted.
Lincoln slowly approached Luan, trying super hard to not make the wood under the carpet creak. As soon as he approached Luan, he patted her hard chest, trying to wake the comedian up, but the only response was an immediate groan, coming from Luan's esophagus.
"Luan? Wake up! We need to talk to you!" Lincoln whispered.
Luan could hear the sound of her younger brother's voice, but decided to ignore him, so she didn't have to get into any sort of argument with him, or one of her sisters.
"Come on, Luan! Why aren't you responding! You'd be awake by now!" Lincoln screamed, shaking Luan violently.
"Landon! Don't be violent with her! You might hit her head against the wall!" Leni called.
"Leni, his name is Lincoln. Let me handle this," Lori demanded.
Leni stayed silent, only looking at her older sister.
Lori approached her younger brother, who was still trying to wake up Luan in a somewhat violent way. Lori reached the flesh of her hand out toward her brother, and pulled him toward her.
"Lincoln, why don't you try waking up Luna instead. She is going to most likely not react in an either violent way, or an ignorant way," Lori demanded.
"Ahh, alright, alright," Lincoln quivered in relief.
Lincoln hopped onto the top bunk to wake up his older sister, Luna.
"Luna? Do you mind if we talk to you for a second?" Lincoln kindly asked.
"Oh, sure dude!" Luna said in a raspier voice then usual, looking at him with a bright smile on her face.
"So, why did you stay up here instead of coming back downstairs? You swore you would come back down!" Lola asked from down below her bunk bed.
"Eh, well, when I came to check on Luan, she looked a little more pale and sick than she usually did. So I decided to ask her what was wrong, about I would say, 4 times? But the second, third, and fourth time, she groaned, then she sleep-yelled at me, telling me to leave her alone. So I decided to stay up here, so that I could soon get a possible awnser from her," Luna exclaimed.
"Yikes! That must've been awful to experience!" Leni cried.
"Yeah, dude. Well, I will still try, even if she yelled at me," Luna admitted.
"Luna, why don't you come downstairs. If Luan wants to be left alone, I recommend doing that. I remember trying to ask one of my friends if they were okay, but they ended up getting into a fight with me, before the teacher broke our fight," Lori demanded.
"Ah, alright. I will come down. I just hope Luan feels better, even if April Fools is coming up," Luna remarked.
All the Louds (sans Luan) descended to the first story of their 1200 square foot home, and went to eat the soggy dinner that Lynn Sr made for the kids, leaving Luan upstairs, alone, cold, terrified, and nowhere to go.
It was midnight in the Loud House, and everyone was fast asleep, even messy Luan, who had slept nearly all day. Luan was groaning very quietly in her sleep, trying to keep herself together, after what mess happened yesterday morning. She was sleeping very well, but painfully, until the sound of a very loud thump woke her straight up.
Luan looked even messier than she did beforehand. It was her eyes that stood out the most, however. Instead of the very round, oval-y shape they usually stand out to be, they shifted into the form of what looks like Sid's eyes, and her bags started to bash against each other. The bags now looked like she was punched ten times by those 5th graders, which would always leave some sort of bloody scar on her every day. The bags were really thick, leaving multiple nasty looking attached circles, that were crammed up against each other, on her eyelids. She looked like she was risin' from the dead.
"What was that sudden noise?" She asked herself.
The thump got louder within the minute, terrifying Luan.
"Well, I guess I should see what it is, if it isn't the family and something else, I should protect them to show I'm not who I used to be anymore," Luan exclaimed to herself.
She slowly raised her bottom out of her bed, with a very stiff, and hurting back. She then slapped her back, so she didn't have to feel such a feeling any longer. When she lowered her nearest foot to the door, she encircled the cold metal that touched all the atoms of the front part of her hand, and slowly creaked the door open, trying to not wake up her older sister, Luna.
The light shined brightly into her eyes, almost blinding her, and what she saw with her wet eyeballs was not what she would've expected to see. What first met her eyes, was a heavenly staircase, of the most pure white she'd ever seen, with the most expensive looking gold railings she'd ever seen as well.
"Whoa! What happened to our house?" She asked.
The voices in her mostly innocent head, started to ring, tempting her to go up the stairway.
"What if such stairs would lead me to a great achievement? Maybe what could be awaiting me up there is forgiveness from my dear siblings? I HAVE to go up there!" She promised.
Luan started to walk up the stairs, and every time she shifted to the next stair, the stair beforehand disintegrated out of existence, but Luan didn't care about it in any way. She wanted to see what was awaiting her up there, hoping it was for great achievement.
She ran up those stairs for ten minutes straight, starting to lose her hope.
"Agh, is this even worth it? I have ran up these stairs for ten minutes, and haven't gotten any sight of the door!" Luan cried.
As soon as she finished that small sentence of hers, the door appeared right before her.
"This must be it! I can't wait to see what is awaiting for me in here!" Luan shouted in excitment.
Luan opened the wooden door, and to her surprise, there was only a void of pitch black darkness, nothing in the void, nothing in sight.
"WHAT?! So I JUST walked up these stairs for absolutely NO reason, whatsoever? Ugh, well I can't go back downstairs, since the stairs somehow just disappeared," Luan angrily shouted.
Luan furiously stomped onto the pitch black void.
"Wait, how am I not falling into the void?" Luan wondered.
Soon enough, under the teen's foot appeared the colors of a grey looking color, which made Luan think that it wasn't just a void, but also an abandon place as well.
"Wait, what's this?" She wondered once again.
Luan decided to lift her other foot, and place it onto the endless void. As soon as Luan shifted her foot towards the void, more of the nasty looking grey color appeared before her. Luan stared at her small feet, and shuffled her feet to continue through the void. She looked left and right, to see if anything would appear in the darkness, but saw nothing, until she saw Mr. Coconuts appear right in front of the tips of her uncomfortable shoes.
"(Gasps) Mr. Coconuts? What are you doing here?" She asked him.
"Oh nothing, doll. Just chilling around, like always when I don't come along with you on those car rides," Mr. Coconuts awnsered through Luan.
As soon as Mr. Coconuts finished the end of his sentence, the ground started to shake uncontrollably, making Luan fall and losing grip of Mr. Coconuts in the process.
"Ahh! What is happening?!" Luan cried in fear.
As soon as she said that, the sound of malicious laughter filled the void.
"Who are you? What do you want from my innocence?!" Luan screamed.
"Oh, me? It might not be what you think I am, but I am YOU, Luan Loud!" The voice screeched.
"Me? How?" Luan shouted.
A trail of fire, stratus clouds, and lightning started to dash towards each other. The three crashed into each other, "CRASH, BOOM, CRACKLE!" Making a small explosion of smoke, that drifted in different ways in the form of clouds from each other. The mixture left a terrifying looking portal, which scared the living soul out of Luan.
Then, the beast inside the portal came out from its own dimension. The beast looked a lot like Luan, except it had a few differences. She had the appearance of an albino demon, which is something Luan never considered to think about. The demon had an INCREDIBLY long, fire colored, lava lamp like tail, that moved swiftly, every tiny step she took. The same went for her hair. The only difference was her hair being tied into a ponytail, causing the widow's peak to barely move an inch, leaving the ponytail to swiftly move in the void. The albino had some of the SHARPEST teeth Luan has ever seen, which were on the side of her braced buck teeth. The teeth were pure white, causing the sharp teeth to look like they were miniature swords, which terrified Luan even more.
The clothing also stood out to Luan. The look-alike wore a BEAUTIFUL and SHINY gold necklace, that had a sun right in the middle of the jewelry. What came below the golden necklace was an orange-ish yellow bikini, leaving one inch of the breast area standing out, making Luan's eye twitch. There was also the underwear of the same color on her buttocks, which made her react the same to the bikini. Then, there were the wings and cape, that made her almost look like an angel. The cape was covered in small bits of some of the most expensive ruby in the nation of America. The ruby that the cape contained almost blinded Luan, as her eyes had been strained about the entire time she has been awake. Her wings were the same color as her skin, and looked JUST like Pegasus wings, but the wings were HUGE in comparison to her body, but it is what made her look like one of the most HEAVENLY angels anyone could ever dream of, even if it was pretty obvious she was a demon. The demon also wore gloves that had the tips of her fingers standing out. The gloves were the color of an orange, with a gold-ish color as the finger outlines.
But, what terrified Luan the most were the possessed looking eyes that the look alike had. One eyeball was nearly pitch black, but showed a VERY TINY bit of incredibly dark brown. The color of the eye was entirely gold, while the pupil was as sharp as a cat's pupils, when sunlight reflected upon it's eyes. The other eye was completely different. The eyeball was as white as a winter wonderland, with a tiny bit of light reflecting on it. The eye color was a dark red, and the pupil was completely round. It felt like to Luan, that every time her demon's eyeballs moved either left to right, or up and down, she could here the tiny squishy sounds the eyeballs made, which really freaked her out.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't the person I was truly wanting to meet, the innocent version of myself, Luan River Loud," The demon said in a horrifying voice.
"Wh-wha-what do yo-you-you want fr-fr-fro-m-mm me-e-e…?" Luan asked, shaking from head to toe.
"Oh, I don't want anything from you. I only want you to realize the horror you have caused your family to get into," Demon Luan responded.
"No… Please don't you dare bring this up, it will only make me worry more!" Luan shouted at her inner self.
"Oh, sweet Luan. Sweet, innocent, Luan. It isn't just that, that made you the person you are today, it's the suffering your family had to go through because of YOU!" The demon cried in joy.
"Bu-u-ut, that is technically what you said…" Luan noted.
"Well, technically, both things I have mentioned can lead to different situations," She corrected her.
Luan squinted her eyes, still in such fear of her inner demon, wondering what she meant at the same time.
"You see, Luan, not every kid or teen in this stupid world is going to achieve such great and such awful things. All of the evil in this world is exactly what your inner demons want, just like me, and you are trying to achieve something you think or at least thought was great, but is actually awful to the people around you, such as your family and friends. But, doing such evil things CAN lead you to great achievement. Just think about one of your past April Fools days when your family was going to catch that dumb blonde of yours, but ended up being able prank your family before they ACTUALLY went off to find her? If you think about the next two April Fools days, they contained more dangerous pranks and embarrassing moments to the point your family almost decided to leave Royal Woods before pranking you! Like you said in one of your April Fools days, "But next year, I'm going to stop going easy on you guys, and give you all an April Fools you'll NEVER forget! Especially YOU Dad!" You should know how weak and innocent your parents and siblings can be on April fools, so why don't you prank them tomorrow, huh?" Demon Luan exclaimed, walking around fallen Luan with a wicked smile on her face.
Luan didn't know what to say, or what to do, but instead looked down on herself as if she didn't know what decision to choose: To not prank her family again, and get their forgiveness, or to keep pranking them until she reaches a world fame goal.
"Well? What is it going to be?" Demon Luan rushed.
"I-i don't know…" Luan responded, still in fear.
Demon Luan hissed loudly and grabbed Luan's collar bone, nearly choking her to death with such a strong tail. Luan started to cough weakly, but loudly at the same time.
"A-agh! Let go of me!" Luan shouted in a raspy voice.
"Never!" Demon Luan responded back in a aggressive tone.
Before Demon Luan could choke her anymore, Luan bit her tail, causing Demon Luan to yelp in pain.
Luan immediately got up, ignoring Mr. Coconuts for her own safety, trying to reach to doorknob. Before she could, the door disintegrated out of existence, leaving Luan in the void with only Demon Luan there to torture her. Luan looked back, and realized her inner demon wasn't right there in front of her to choke her even more. When Luan realized this, she nervously walked back to where she was, but before she could even make a reaction, Luan crushed Mr. Coconuts, causing a land to start to take form around her.
It was no ordinary land, it was a land covered in many dislocated skeletons, many human body parts, and bits of blood that surrounded such things. Luan looked around, jaw dropped at the horrifying sight.
"Oh no, what have I done?!" Luan cried.
Again, the malicious laughter started to fill the air, and it left Luan feeling drugged. Then, the ground started to shake again, as a shadowy figure emerged from the pile of bloody and dusty bones. Luan tried looking closely to see who the figure was, and realized it was Benny!
"Benny! Oh, I am SO glad to see you! Let me explain what has happened!" Luan shouted up towards the large body.
There was no response from him, but a, "No, I will not help you Luan…"
"Wait, what do you mean?" Luan asked anxiously.
"I have heard what has been said about what torture you put your family and friends through, and NO I will NOT forgive you!" Benny shouted.
"Bu-ut, I am different now! I promise I wont prank anyone ever again!" Luan cried in response to his awnsers.
"Luan, remember your last April Fools Day? You said you were done with your "childish" pranking, but you STILL keep pranking your family! Sure, Lily helped you get out of retirement, but she's besides the point! Luan, whatever you say and do does not matter to me anymore, we're breaking up!" Benny echoed.
Luan started to cry in despair and fear, sitting down at the same time.
"You see Luan? This is what I am talking about! The only thing you have to do is to improve your pranking to get him back!" Demon Luan shouted, as she appeared behind the huge figure of Benny Stein.
Luan was even more confused on what to do. Both decisions were a 50/50% chance for her, leaving her feeling more drugged than she did. The demon Luan then possessed Benny, and he shape-shifted into her in the process. His flat teeth grew sharper, sharper, and sharper within every single second, also shaping round for the buck teeth in the middle. The lava lamp like tail grew out of the pants, ripping it in the process, also revealing the underwear the demon wore. At the same time, the flesh on the demon's sides of her body, grew out as flesh, making squishy sounds, before taking its full form of giant, feathery wings, ALSO ripping the shirt in the process, in which formed into the ruby cape. Then, the dark brown hair was touched by the lava lamp tail, which caused it to form into the lava lamp like hair, the demon contained. Finally, the demon's right eye's pupil went all the way back into the peach colored brain, revealing the bleeding blood vessels, which turned into the dark colored eye it was.
"No! No, no, no, no, no! I can't let this happen!" Luan shrieked.
"That is why you need to get your family back! If you do so, your family can follow whatever you order! Then they can't hide from you anymore!" The demon responded.
After the albino demon finished her sentence, Wooden handlebars with strings that were attached to the ground, appeared in her delicate hands. When they appeared in her hands, the demon pulled the handlebars, revealing the dead bodies that were carried by the strings. The bodies weren't just normal pedestrian bodies, they were her parents and siblings bodies! The arms, legs, eyes, and body parts started to drift away from the body, revealing intestines, lungs, hearts, and blood vessels at the same time. Luan looked all around her, seeing the dead bodies of her siblings. The arms easily came off of the bodies, falling on the ground, surrounded by puddles of new blood. The eyes fell out, still attached by the blood vessel on the very back of the eyeballs. The intestines were the first body part to fall out of the dead bodies, as it took up the most space in the body, and immediately fell on the dusty land, with blood and tiny blood cells falling out. The other body parts only fell onto the big intestines.
Everything Luan saw that surrounded her, caused her to get so worried, she nearly had a seizure. Luan then found a way out of the circle of dead siblings, and headed the opposite direction of the demon, almost escaping her in the process. But she was stopped by more dead bodies of people she didn't know, and had never seen before.
"Hahahaha! You will never escape me, Luan Loud!" The demon screeched.
The poor Luan started to scream and cry, trying to escape the grasp of her inner demon, also trying to understand what the purpose of this dream was. When Luan was cornered by the gruesomeness of the dead siblings' bodies, The albino demon snapped her thumb and middle finger against each other, causing a spiked collar to appear on the teen's neck, which was also attached by a chain. As the demon started to drag Luan towards herself, Luan grabbed onto a blood covered rib that was deeply stuck in the ground. But the longer she held onto the rib, the more harder the demon jerked the collar with the tip of the cold, metal, chain. After a few minutes of holding onto the rib, Luan soon got a excruciating hand cramp, causing her to let go, which allowed the demon to drag her into the fiery, smoky, portal, that she came from. Luan started to make screams, louder and scarier than she'd ever had. They sounded nothing like what her normal screams sounded like. They were instead bloodcurdling screams, screams that no one in her family had ever been able to reach. The pain of being choked by the collar, felt as if a wolf had broken open her flesh, chewing on the bone that was inside the body part.
As she was thrown down the portal, Luan started to feel weak enough to the point of fainting, while falling endlessly through the portal.
She woke up with a bloodcurdling scream, which alerted the family to check to see if Luan was ok.
There you have it! Chapter 3 has been finished! You know, I will admit it, this was the most FUN chapter I have written thus far! I just want to give a HUGE thanks to the people who have been supporting me on here, Fandom, YT, and other websites! You all mean SO much to me, and I want to say, thank you all so much for 50 subscribers on YT! See you all in the next chapter!
Also, if you pay VERY close attention, you might spot a few references. One would be my character that I created, which was Luan's inner demon. If you don't know the reference, it is a reference/mixture of the two characters: Daybreaker and Beelzebub from MLP FiM, and Helluva Boss. I USED to be a brony, but I ain't anymore. I am a HUGE supporter on Vivziepop's works, and I can't wait for more to come! Btw, I am SO glad that I have written a long and terrifying chapter, as I have been OBSSESSED with horror since 5th grade! I actually wrote a story in 5th grade, which actually traumatized some of the other 5th graders, XD. Anyway, I will try to have the next chapter out as SOON as possible! See you all then!
