CAGED!
Summary: Because 'Ninja Mime' was really bad, Johnny decided to take things seriously. But, is this a good thing?
Chapter 1
(Cage's apartment)
Johnny was home and was on the balcony of his penthouse. He heard the TV saying how bad 'Ninja Mime' was even though it made hundreds of millions of dollars. The entertainment reporters were saying he should stop making movies and just 'go away'. He went inside to get himself something to drink and grabbed a bottle of hard liquor. He was about to pour himself a glass as he looked right at his 'Time Smashers' poster.
He took the bottle and threw it at the poster shattering it against the poster. He turned off the TV, grabbed his coat, and stormed out of his apartment.
(Cage MMA dojo)
Johnny had opened an MMA dojo long before he started making movies and he always went in to see how everything was going. The dojo was huge and had a huge cage right in the middle of it where students and teachers were training that was when his partner had seen him and smiled. "Johnny!" She said and went right to him to hug and kiss him. She was Latin-American with long black hair and brown eyes and she was in a black 'Cage MMA' tank top and white bike shorts with 'CAGED' in black going down the leg.
"How's about it? Wanna show the 'Fresh Meat' how it's done?"
"Sure, let me get dressed." He said and with that, he changed clothes and got ready to fight. He was in black and blue tights, ankle braces, a belt with his name in gold on it, and his fists were taped. He also had his first name tattooed across his chest in old English. He walked into the cage and got ready to fight. It was long and hard, his partner was giving as much as she was getting. Then she dropped her guard and let Johnny beat the hell out of her.
Then as he was getting tired, his emotions were leaving his body and he dropped to his knees. She grabbed him and hugged him tightly. She stroked his hair, "It's alright. Everything will be alright," she said.
That was before all this mess with other realms and Shao Khan and Raiden started. When he got to the island before the tournament he was a changed man. But, when it was time for him to fight, shit got real. Everyone thought that Johnny was some kind of joke, someone not to be taken seriously. Not anymore, when he fought Baraka, he broke his arm clean off, then curb-stomped him. Finally, to put the cherry on top of this epic beat down took Baraka's arm and pinned him to the ground face-first. Then he looked to the other fighters, "AM I A JOKE NOW?" He yelled, then stormed off.
Raiden was in shock, this was not supposed to happen, Johnny Cage was supposed to be a failed action movie actor who makes jokes. He wasn't supposed to be bitter. He was trying to figure out why he was so bitter and serious when Liu Kang commented, "There is nothing more scary than a serious Johnny Cage."
Meanwhile, Sonya Blade had followed Johnny to see where he was going and found him meditating at a temple. He was quiet and glowing an emerald green aura. "Can I help you, Lt. Blade?" He said, not even looking at her.
"Um, I just wanted to see if you were alright." She said, unnerved.
"You mean, you wanted to see why I'm not being a 'loud mouth' and trying to hit on you?" He said, "Don't get me wrong. You are very beautiful but I have more things on my mind right now. Just want to deal with the next matches and finish this tournament." So he did but when Raiden went to him asking for his help, he sighed and agreed. He had partnered him with Sonya and she tried to get him to open up to her. He told her the movies weren't his idea.
It wasn't his fault that they were crappy movies, "if you shine shit. It's still going to be shit, shiny shit, but shit." He said.
"Then why don't you do something about it?" She said.
"Like What? My Rep Is Ruined!" He said and walked off to help out the other fighters. Sonya's heart went out to him, he was a great actor. Her favorite actor, but this, this is heartbreaking.
After Raiden defeated Shao Khan, she and Johnny helped him up. "So now what?" He asked.
"Now we heal," said Raiden.
"Good Luck, with that."
End… for now
Note: Now I know I said Stryker is my favorite MK fighter but, I also didn't like how they portrayed Johnny Cage in the series. He was a joke-like character in a deadly fighting game. He was like DAN, couldn't stand it.
