A/N I've been writing, but I wanted to get ahead so I didn't run out again, because I know how annoying that is.

So, I was thinking I would release each tiny scene of a chapter very frequently, to keep it going.

Earlier, I was releasing a full chapter twice weekly, then you caught iup to me when I got stuck. Bow that I am ahead again, I was going to drop back to weekly publication, so I didn't run out again, but I know how difficult it is to keep up with the plot line when it's a week between instalments, so I think I will release a scene every other day or so.

(I can't just keep you up to where I am writing, because if you are waiting on the thing I am actively writing, I freeze up and can't write at all, stupid brain… :( )

Tell me if you think more frequent smaller releases is a good idea or not? Otherwise that's what I'll do :)

Where we are, after a long silence:

The Longbourn entail does not exclude the female line, so Jane is the heiress. Knowing this, Bingley could not be convinced she would be forced by her mother to marry him for his money, and so came back after the Netherfield Ball, his "business in town" being obtaining settlement documents from his solicitors. They have married, honeymooned at Bath and are happily settled at Netherfield.

Earlier, Collins proposed to Mary who told him to sod off, so Charlotte married him, inviting Lizzy to visit at Easter.

The Terrible Proposal in Kent happened much as per canon, but off scene, but there was no letter because Darcy didn't separate Jane and Bingley and Wickham never got into Longbourn - Darcy didn't have all these things to explain, she just thinks he is proud and rude. Lizzy came home and told Jane all and Bingley filled her in on what a good man Darcy is, giving her much to think of…

Jane and Charles are basically still in their honeymoon period!

Chapter 21A

The weeks after their return from Bath had passed easily. The newlyweds had spent time together, to their great pleasure, while getting the necessary tasks done. Charles was able to ensure the home farm was performing, Jane advising him when he was unsure as she was used to helping her father administer the estate. She had started gathering ingredients to stock the still room and was visiting the tenants.

Caroline joined them from town a couple of weeks after they arrived home, as the season had not yet started and London, empty of her friends was, as she said, "Boring!" She was her usual rambunctious self. That she came to them did not surprise Jane - until Caroline married, her principal home would always be with her brother. With their father deceased, caring for any single sisters was Charles' role. Just as Jane's sisters could always expect to live at Longbourn until they married, so Caroline would expect to be able to live with her brother whenever nothing else called on her, having no uncles in better circumstances. A woman would have to do something truly egregious to not have that obligation on her guardian! And Jane had never heard of a woman doing something so bad.

"Jane, darling! it has been an age - how I have missed you!" she cried, then looked at Charles, "and you too, brother," she added, he obviously was not her favourite person right now, as she exchanged air kisses with Jane.

"Caroline," Charles replied with a nod.

They walked into the drawing-room while Caroline's trunks were taken up to her suite.

Caroline, when she liked you, or wanted something, was always good company, and the ladies passed a very pleasant morning tea.

A/N ah, sibling discord, shocking! ;)

More soon :)
