Ok, pretty sure that I didn't went to sleep in a renaissance style room last night. And I am even more sure that I did not had a six pack when I went to sleep, not that I'm complaining.
Though it was still bizarre, did some god isekai my ass to a fantasy world or something.
Affirmative.
"Da fak?!"
You indeed have been sent to a different world by a god, 'isekai' if you will.
"Who the hell are you?!"
This system does not possess a name. And it would ask of you to think whatever you want to say as speaking out loud may bring attention to you.
Ok, then where the hell am I?!
You are currently in the mansion of the Mansour family, near the border of the Melromarc kingdom.
Melromarc…
You mean the kingdom that is supposed to exist only in a fictional world and has a king who's IQ is lower than his foot number with an even dumber daughter, a smart Loki daughter and a hot MILF wife? That Melromarc?!
Affirmative.
Then what the fuck am I doing here?!
Lord Amun Ra has decided that leaving the fate of this world in the hands of it's residents was far too risky and low goddess Medea should not be allowed to destroy it.
So what? I am some sort of champion that is meant to stop her?
Negative.
Not sure if I should be relieved or insulted…
While you ARE a champion of the gods, your primary reason for being sent here is to be a representative. As a higher god than Medea, the moment she interferes with a world with his champion on it more than allowed, whole Ma'at will have permission to destroy her essence.
So I'm a bait?
Positive. However you are still expected to gather power and prestige on this world and become a pharaoh.
And why would I do that?
Cause the chances of your death is higher while you are weak compared to when you are strong.
…ok that makes sense. And I was sent here by an Egyptian god?
Affirmative. Gods of Ma'at was once worshipped on many areas on earth, primarily on the land called Egypt.
So, they just want me to live here, act as bait and get strong?
Affirmative. However the deities of Ma'at would also like you to use your new position to help demi-humans.
My new position?
Memory files are being downloaded.
Memory wha—
And then there was migraine. The memories worth of fourteen years invaded my mind as I held my head in my hands in a vain attempt to soothe the headache.
My name was Kyros Mansour. Son of the lord and lady Mansour who had died three days ago because of a bandit attack, making me the new lord of the Mansour lands.
As the headache finally receded, I got out from my bed and went to the mirror on the other end of the room, to make sure I did look like in the memories and that they weren't delusions of a young adult.
Thankfully they were not. Chocolate brown skin packed with lean muscles, messy black hair covered the top of my head and my eyes were a molten gold color, looking less like eyes and more like two little suns.
I looked like Ozymandias from Fate Grand Order! Only shorter.
'My name is Ozymandias, a king among kings!'
This system is glad that you found your appearance to be pleasing.
Oh yeah, almost forgot about that. What do I call you?
This system does not possess a name.
Well who created you then? Ra?
That is Amun Ra to you. And this system's creator was Thoth, the great god of wisdom who taught humanity how to write in the ancient times.
Thoth… Thoth… ok then I will call you Zehuti. An alternate name of Thoth.
… that is acceptable.
Good but you should know that I am not exactly happy, Zehuti.
Why is that?
Cause you guys took me from my home without any notice. My family must be…
Your parents died two years ago and you have no other living relatives.
Ok but what about my girlfriend who…
You never had a meaningful relationship other than in high school. Everything else were one night stands.
Damn, just how much do you know about me?
As much as this system needs to.
Then I hope you know that I don't know Shield Hero that well and even if I did these memories show that the world is different than novels.
The amount of knowledge you possessed was acceptable.
If you say so Zehuti, if you say so. Do you have acceptable amount of knowledge to make me strong?
Affirmative. As the champion of gods you are blessed with several abilities. Firstly you and your followers have the same experience and stat boost as a legendary hero and you possess no level cap. It is also possible to gain greater mastery over magics through choosing a god to follow. Also as a potential Pharaoh you are blessed with skills 'Charisma' and 'Natural Body' in high ranks.
Following a god huh… can my followers do the same though?
Affirmative. However unlike you who can follow paths of three different gods, your followers can follow only one god.
Ok, ok I can work with this. Three gods, gotta choose carefully though since just to stop following one sounds like an easy way to earn the ire of a god.
Affirmative.
"My lord, are you awake?" ok guess I'll have to continue my talk with Zehuti later on.
"Yes, come in." I told the man behind the door with a surprisingly strong voice... for a fourteen year old that is.
The man who came in was a tall man in a butler suit with long white hair in a slicked back and gathered in a tail.
Wilhelm van Astrea, the head butler of Mansour family and a former war hero in war against Siltvelt where he lost his wife four years ago. A man that was far too similar to another Wilhelm from my memories.
"It might be ill mannered to do so but may I ask you to wear a shirt, my lord?" Wilhelm asked pointedly but still gently, I was a mourning boy in his eyes after all.
"Ah yes, just give me a moment. And while doing so can you call the others for a meeting? I think it is time for me to start my duties as the new lord." I replied as I tried to put as much as confidence I could into my words, unknowingly using a small dosage of my new Charisma skill.
"Are you sure my lord?" Wilhelm asked with a concerned look in his eyes "It has been only three days since we lost your parents. Shouldn't you take some time, at least until the end of the week, before you start your duties?"
My eyes hardened as once more my Charisma skill activated, this time at full force, causing Wilhelm's eyes to widen.
"I have wallowed in self pity long enough. Now I have work to do."
