Day 3, on Day 4, just like I promised!

Don't get super excited, this is a short one; I honestly didn't have a lot of ideas for this one outside of this tiny little piece I've got here (well, I technically have several ideas, but none of them were appropriate for the situation), so this is what you get! Day 3's prompt is: Villains! Obviously, we need a little Toppat Henry and Government Charles up in here. Have fun, even though it's short! See you at the bottom of the page!

The Toppat Chief walked down the halls of his Orbital Space Station, humming to himself. The view of Earth was stunning, as always, though that wasn't what he was focused on. No, today there was something much more special in the confines of the station, something he'd been searching for for a while now, and it was finally his. He smiled smugly to himself, the thought of this special something making his heart pound with thrill.

He came to a stop outside a door in a particular area of the station, taking a moment to adjust his finely tailored suit and top hat and to fluff out the smooth black cape draped over his shoulders. The cape was definitely overkill, but he liked the idea of being over the top, especially today, with his special guest waiting for him on the other side of the door.

The Toppat standing guard outside the door doffed their hat to him as a salute, and he waved them off. They nodded and strode towards the common area. The chief smiled again, taking a deep breath through his nose before punching in the code that would open this particular door.

"Welcome aboard," Henry Stickmin, the chief of the Toppat Clan, said to the prisoner. "I trust you're comfortable?"

Charles Calvin, the government's youngest and most veteran pilot, frowned at him. "Uh, no, actually, I'm not comfortable. At all."

He flexed his arms for emphasis, or tried to, but given that he was suspended a solid foot off of the floor by a pair of electric shackles on the ceiling, he was more like a fresh caught fish on a line with the way he flopped about. Henry smiled at the imagery, which made Charles' cheeks flush a pretty pink.

"L-look," Charles said quickly, "I don't know why you went out of your way to capture me, but I do know that I'm not going to cooperate if you start asking for information! So, uh, forget it!" Henry huffed a laugh into his hand, a move that made Charles flush even more. "I-I'm serious!"

"I know you are," Henry replied, "and I also know that I'm not interested in interrogating you for information."

This seemed to surprise Charles. "...You're not?"

Henry shrugged. "Anything you could possibly tell me is something I can learn by my own means. Hardly a difficult task." Charles looked insulted, but before he could respond, Henry held out a hand in an placating gesture. "No, I'm not interested in intel. What I'm interested in, in particular, is… you."

Charles blinked. "...What? Me?" Henry nodded. "But why? I'm just a pilot, I'm not anything special-"

"On the contrary." Henry appeared in front of Charles in two fluid movements, startling the man into silence. Henry gestured out the window behind Charles, at the Earth below. "You know, of all the things I've stolen from all over the world- and even beyond," his eyes met Charles', "nothing has ever captivated me quite like you have. No one has ever drawn me to them just by existing, except for you. You're different from everyone else. And now, at last," Henry spread his arms wide, "I have the most valuable treasure in the universe in my possession."

Charles clicked his teeth and looked away. "I'm not a treasure, I'm-"

Henry shushed him, pressing a finger to Charles' lips firmly. "I'm the king of the Toppats," he said, tapping Charles in the center of his chest with each word. "And up here, I'm practically king of the world. Anything I want… I get." He traced his finger up Charles' throat and under his chin, lifting his face up just a touch. "That includes you."

Charles gulped.

Technically this is the Toppat 4 Life ending, not the Toppat King ending, because I couldn't think of a way to fit Ellie in here besides just mentioning her name, and that's not fair to Ellie, so she's not here today. Henry is still the King of the Toppats, though, because he would be that over the top.

Normally, I wouldn't have Henry speaking this much, but I figure that since he and Charles never became friends in this timeline, Charles didn't really have a reason to learn sign, so Henry's being very accommodating. Such a generous king! Charles should be grateful to be owned by such a benevolent ruler (sarcasm so sarcastic that the Earth explodes sarcastically).

Anyway, since this one is so short, I don't have much to say, so I'll leave this here. To the person who was hoping for a happier fic after the last one, uh... better luck for chapter 4? Day 4's prompt will be posted later today (probably), and it should be a little more positive, so you'll have to wait for the happy. Leave a review and tell me your thoughts about this one in the meantime! I'll see you later. Until then!
