Notes: So... I'm just going to leave this here, But I will say this: Relationship's in the world of spooks tend to be messy... 'Sunny,' 'Luna' and Allison lucked out with theirs...

Star Celestial

When Parker first met Piper Taylor he was ashamed to say he wasn't really paying much attention to the girl, granted she was covered in mud and most of his attention was directed at the rapscallion that had also covered his young lady charge in mud at the time.

But when he was introduced to the fiancé of Mr Scott Tracy, for the second time, Parker had to do a double take, because he thought he was staring at the ghost of a woman he had loved in the past.

Parker had first come know to the Creighton-Ward's when Silva Creighton-Ward had caught him attempting to break into the safe at one of the family's estates, and instead of turning him straight into the authorities she offered him a job, in return of a reduced prison sentence, stating that she needed someone with his skill set to assist her team in a task to help protect the world's security.

It turned out that Silva headed up a team that was known the intelligence community as the Celestial Sisters, four young ladies that had a reputation of being able to get in and out of a situation without being detected.

The lady's weren't biologically related as the one that was known as Terra, had actually been Penelope's mother, Allison, who used her socialite status as a foot in the door.

Parker would only end up meeting two of these ladies in person, as the one known as Luna, was on an another assignment, and one known as Sunny was on light duties and not cleared for field work - neither was Allison, come to think of it, Penelope was only a couple of months old when he was introduced.

While he never saw Sunny's face he got to know her voice very well over the course of the assignment, as she filled a role very similar to the role Mr John played in International Rescue. John actually reminded Parker about Sunny a lot, even though her protective streak was more like Scott's and her sense of humour was similar to the rapscallion goldfish.

About the only other thing Parker knew about Sunny was that she was the wife of Star's older Brother's best friend… Not that Star had actually told him anything about them…

Star had been the agent he had been paired up with, and the best way to describe her was that had MacGyver been a woman she would have been him - combine that with the fact she could drive anything with wheels AND fly most small aircraft, Parker, who was already attracted to the beautiful brown-haired, blue-eyed woman, fell head over heels for her.

Not that he could have said anything in that regard in the beginning, Parker was facing a lengthy prison sentence, and even if the mission was a success he was still facing jail time of at least a couple of years, and even though it was better than the decade or more he would be facing if the mission failed, he couldn't ask the American woman to wait for him.

Besides he worked well with the woman, and he wasn't about to jeopardise that because he let his little brain do all the thinking.

And that would have been the plan too, except that, like a lot of other things at that time in his life, went sideways when it became known that Star shared similar feelings towards him.

That was the beginning of one the wildest couple of months of his life and he loved every minute of it, even though he and Star nearly got killed a couple of times, with her.

But all good things come to an end.

He still ended up pushing Star away when he went to prison, even though she was willing wait for him, and said many things that he instantly regretted saying, all in the effort to push her away.

And he still regretted it to this day.

He had made up his mind that he would track her down and grovel for her forgiveness as soon as he got out, but when he caught up with Silva and Allison, after his release three years later, they informed him that Star had been killed in a car accident a year earlier.

Silva offered him a job, in the Creighton-Ward household after that, and the rest was history.

He never knew Star's real name.
