Retroville, Retroville MegaPlex, 12:13
Sid, Libby, Carl, Sheen, Nick, Elky, and Brent were waiting in line to watch the new Ultra Lord movie. "This movie is going to be so EPIC!" Sheen shouted in excitement. "Ya it is!" Elky agreed, hi-fiving Sheen. "Wow you guys are really excited about this movie." Brent commented. "This is not just a movie!" Elky bubbled. "This is the first ever live action adaptation of the greatest superhero created by the brilliant John A. Davis!" Sheen shouted in excitement. "They really get really excited by this kind of thing." Carl whispered to Libby who just nodded. "I really hope they're adapting the new 53 storyline." Elky commented. "New 53!?" Sheen said surprised. "You must be crazy. The best Ultralord origin story is obviously the silver age comics. Ultralord was given a lot more depth in those comics." It was now between Elky and Sheen. "Silver age!?" Elky said, surprised. "Okay, they may have given us the best stories, but in New 53 we actually got to know Ultralord as a person, not just some superhero." Sheen held up his hand in a matter of fact way. "You can't honestly believe that! New 53 turned Ultralord into some over emotional sap, the silver age comics give us someone who was fun loving, cheerful and represented the best humanity had to offer. Someone who didn't have some grand reason for being a hero, he was just a good person who wanted to do the right thing." Sheen retaliated. "I get where you're coming from. I really do, Silver Age Ultralord was arguably the best incarnation of the character but the reason I prefer New 53 is we get to see the man, the human being, someone who lots of people can relate to." Elky replied. "I see where you're coming from." Sheen agreed.
Behind the two Carl and Libby were talking. "They're getting really chummy." Libby commented. "Ya, Elky's really into this kind of thing." Carl agreed. "Aren't you a little worried?" Libby asked. "About what? Sheen and Elky, of course not. Why are you?" Carl replied. "Why would I?" Libby asked. "Because you have a crush on Sheen." Carl replied. "W-What!? No I don't!" Libby spluttered blushing. "Okay, if you say so." Carl chuckled. "I'm glad we could do something together after all the craziness that went down." Nick said to Sid. "Ya me too. We've been really overworked ever since Jamey left, I didn't know how much she did for us until recently." Sid replied. "Can we not talk about that girl, you know my feelings about her." Nick chided. "Nick, you have to understand Jamey didn't intentionally do anything wrong." Sid replied, defending his friend. "I'm not getting into this with you again Sid!" Nick shouted which everyone noticed. "Fine then." Sid replied, stepping out of the line. "Where are you going?" Nick asked annoyed. "I don't feel like watching a movie right now. I'll be at the bookstore when you guys get out." Sid replied. Brent tried to follow his friend but was stopped by Libby. "How about we let him be by himself for a while. Give him a chance to cool off." Brent agreed and let Sid leave. The ticket booth opened and everyone rushed inside.
Two Hours Later
The movie was over and everyone was making their ways out of the building. "That was the most amazing thing I ever saw, I might have to get surgery to permanently get my eye shut so it never sees anything that awesome again." Sheen said being a little dramatic. "I know right!" Elky agreed. "Who would've thought they would adapt the silver age origin story with the New 53 characters. Ingenious." Sheen and Elky gave one another a high five. "We got the best of both worlds." Sheen beamed, he then turned to the others. "What did you guys think?" Elky looked at her boyfriend hoping for his opinion. "It was cool I guess." Carl replied a little lost at the whole plot line. "I just wonder why that robot guy would want to blow up the earth if he was standing on it." Sheen and Elky both groaned at Carl's lack of knowledge about comic books. "You see…" Elky began to explain. While that was happening Nick was walking still thinking about her and Sid's fight. "Still thinking about Sid?" Libby asked. "Ya, but you wouldn't want to hear about it." Nick replied. "I'm a good listener."
"Fine, I just don't understand why Sid's so defensive about Neutron." Nick said. "Look Nick I'm not going to tell you how to feel but you really need to learn to listen. Don't make your mind up about a certain topic before you have all the facts, or you might risk losing something special." Libby explained. Nick began to think about Libby's advice but was distracted by what Brent shouted. "Hey look everyone, it's Special Guy!" The group looked in shock, those who knew Special Guy's secret identity were especially confused. "What's Sid doing?" Libby asked Sheen. "Don't know." Sheen replied. A crowd began to form around the heroine as she landed in front of them. "Special Guy!" One of the civilian's screamed in excitement. "Sign my stomach!" Another one shouted. Special Guy let out a smile, he walked to one of the bystanders. "Do you want me to sign your stomach?" He asked, he happily nodded. "Fine then." He smiled. Special Guy clenched his fist and unleashed a power punch that sent the man flying across the street through a glass panel. The crowd, especially the N-Men, looked in shock. "How was that for a mark?" He chuckled. The crowd instantly began to run and scream, Special Guy super sped to a car, lifted it and threw it into a building and began laughing maniacally. "What the heck's going on with her?" Elky asked. "He must be mind controlled. Nick, get Brent and Elky to safety." Libby shouted. "What about you guys!? And what about Sid!?" Brent asked. "We'll look for him. You just leave, now!" Libby shouted. Brent begrudgingly agreed and left with Nick and Elky. "N-Men Assemble!" Libby shouted. Carl, Sheen, and Libby twisted the dial on their watches and instantly their super suites were on them becoming their alter egos. "Glad Jamey gave us these before she left." Sheen commented. "Ya, this is way better than that gum thing. It was starting to hurt my jaws." Carl agreed. "Can you focus!" Libby shouted. "Sorry." They both said in unison. Libby created a force field platform for herself to stand on and levitated to Special Guy. "Sid I know you have to snap out of it, fight the mind control."
"Mind control!?" Special Guy said, a bit surprised. "Lady, the only one who controls me is me!" He shouted. Special Guy lunged at Libby and tried to punch her, Libby blocked his attack by creating force field to protect herself, the force of Special Guy's punch sent Libby into the ground creating a miniature crator. Special Guy flew to her and began relentlessly punching the force field little by little sending Libby further into the ground, a sound blast came flying through the air knocking Special Guy off of Libby. "Time to take your breath away." Sheen said running around Special Guy, a whirlwind formed around him, he grabbed his throat as he struggled to breath, Special Guy hit the ground creating a shockwave that stopped Sheen sending him into a car. Before he could catch his breath Carl and Libby fired a sound blast and a forced field disk at him, knocking him out. "If that didn't break the hypnosis, I don't know what will." Libby commented. Special Guy got up. "Don't think this is over!" Before flying into the sky. Sheen, Libby, and Carl looked worried.
New York, Brett's Apartment, 14:34
Jamey was still in Brett's penthouse working on his computer, Brett walked in with a pizza. "Hey, I've got lunch." The boy called to his friend. "Later, I'm doing something important." Jamey said not taking her eyes off the screen. "What are you working on anyway?" Brett asked. "I'm hunting down all the information I can find about Savage." Jamey replied. "If he's really as good as you say, I don't think he would leave anything to trace him on the net." Brett replied unhopefully. "That may be true, his whole system might be on an isolated server but there is something he left behind and I'll find it." Jamey replied. "How?" Brett asked curiously. "I've created a virus, it will go through the web and the dark web searching for any link about Savage, when it finds one it will attach itself and steal all of Savage's files." Jamey explained. "That could take a while." Brett replied. "It really could." Jamey begrudgingly agreed. "Then maybe we could work on that other thing." Brett suggested. "Maybe later." Jamey said walking. "Jamey you came to me because you wanted my help, why are you avoiding this?" Brett asked. He tried to look at the girl in question but she kept avoiding eye contact.
"Because I'm scared." Jamey revealed. "Of what?" Brett asked. "You remember what 'she' was like. She was cunning, manipulative, and dangerous." Jamey replied. "I remember what she was like Jamey, but you have a real problem here. This Hulk thing's only going to get worse." Brett replied making a very valid point . "Fine, I just wanted to finish the virus just in case something happened to me." Jamey agreed. "Don't worry Jamey, I'll make sure nothing happens." Brett said, trying to reassure her. But all Jamey could muster was a small smile.
Retroville, 15:19
Libby, Carl, and Sheen changed back into their street clothes, met up with Nick and Elky and made their way to the Candy bar. "What did you guys do with Brent?" Carl asked. "He went home and he was a little freaked out." Nick replied. "So what was going on with Sid?" Elky asked. "This has happened before, we think he's been mind controlled." Carl replied. "Cool." Elky replied. "Ya, say that after you get thrown by him." Carl replied to his over enthusiastic girlfriend. "Have you been able to reach the base?" Sheen asked Libby. "Ughh! No. They're not taking my calls." Libby said frustrated. "Then how are we supposed to find Sid?" Sheen asked, annoyed, what good were the government if they weren't there when they needed them? "We don't have to." Carl commented. "Why?" Libby asked not looking up from her phone. "He's over there." Carl replied pointing at Sid walking down the street drinking a smoothie. Sheen and Libby looked at Sid surprised. "That was easier than I thought." Sheen commented. "Hey Sid!" Libby called out. Sid heard and went to her friends. "Hey guys, sorry I didn't stay by the book store. I got thirsty so I went to get a smoothie." They all stood there in shock. "Really?" Libby said in disbelief. "Was this before or after you wrecked downtown."
"What are you talking about?" Sid asked, confused. "Sid, we think you might have been hypnotized by Hypno again." Carl answered. "That's impossible." Sid stated. "Really." Libby said in disbelief, Libby pulled out her phone and showed Sid a video of Special Guy causing destruction. "That's not me!?" Sid said in disbelief. "Really because it looks like you." Sheen replied. "I swear guys this wasn't me!" Sid said in his defense. "It's okay Sid, no one blames you. Hypno just got to you again." Carl replied. "I'm telling you that's not me. I haven't blacked out or anything." Sid replied, he then went to Nick. "You believe me right?" Nick remained quiet for a moment. "Well… I think you weren't in control."
"If you guys don't believe me, fine. I'll clear up my name myself." Sid declared running back to the theater a little mad no one believed him and that if Jamey was there she'd have had his back mainly because she would have had some way of proving to the rest that it wasn't him through some type of test or something sciencey like that. "We better follow him." Libby suggested, Carl and Sheen nodded in agreement. "You two better stay here for your own safety." Sheen suggested. "What, no!" Elky shouted. "We'll stay here." Nick agreed. "Come on, we can help them." She tried to point it out. "No, we'll just be getting in their way." Nick replied. "Fine." Elky agreed begrudgingly, she then went to Carl. "Be safe, okay." Carl looked at her and then lifted her chin up with his left index finger. "Okay." Carl replied, smiling at her. Elky leaned in for a kiss, just before she could reach Carl Sheen pulled the latter away. "Sorry Big Guy, you can kiss your girlfriend later." Carl said in disappointment. "Awwww." But this only caused Elky to giggle.
The group followed Sid to the crime scene. "What do you think you'll find here?" Libby asked. "Maybe this copycat left some DNA or clothes lying around. Something that can help us find him." Sid replied, looking around for evidence. "Don't know why we're humoring him." Libby said as she began looking around. While searching for evidence Sid felt like he was being watched, he looked around and saw someone who looks like him run into an alley. "Over there!" He shouted. Sid ran straight into the alley. "What did he see?" Carl asked. "Let's find out." Libby replied as the teens ran after Sid as he continued to follow the boy. "Hey wait!" Sid shouted. The boy ignored him and continued running, Sid eventually followed him into an abandoned factory. Sid entered the factory and began looking around. "Where did you go?" He said to himself. In an instant something sped to Sid and knocked him into a wall. "Show yourself coward!" Sid shouted. "I'm no coward." A voice sounding exactly like Sid's shouted. A boy stepped out of the shadows and he was revealed to look exactly like Sid. "Who are you?" Sid asked, shocked. "I'm you." Special Guy replied flying straight for Sid knocking him into a wall. Sid immediately got up. "Who are you and what do you want!?" He shouted. "Like I said before, I'm you, or should I say I'm the new you. Your replacement." Special Guy replied. "Where did you come from?" Sid asked. "Can't say." Special Guy replied. "Who made you?" Sid asked. "Can't say." Special Guy replied. "Then what can you tell me?" Sid asked. Special Guy developed a sinister smile. "That I'm going to kill you."
Special Guy charged straight for Sid and threw a punch, Sid easily caught it. "It's not going to be that easy." Sid replied. Sid kicked Special Guy in the back, Special Guy quickly rebounded, throwing a flurry of punches at Sid, Sid quickly blocked each of her punches, on Special Guy's last punch Sid grabbed his arm and threw her into a wall. "Guess killing me is going to be harder than you thought." Sid gloated. Special Guy got up and smiled. "No, it's going to be far easier." Sid super sped towards him with a roundhouse kick, Special Guy easily dodged him, Sid went in for a punch but Special Guy easily caught his leg. Special Guy punched Sid in the gut then proceeded to kick him into a wall.
"Here's what you don't understand." Special Guy commented, picking Sid up. "I'm stronger than you!" He punched Sid in the face, sending the blonde into the ground. "Faster than you." Sid tried to speed tackle him but Special Guy easily dodged it. "I'm better than you in every way." Special Guy's eyes began to glow red, she then fired beams of heat at Sid that sent him down. "I am Special Guy!" Outside the building the rest of the team were looking for Sid. "Where did he go?" Libby asked. "I don't know. He just disappeared." Carl replied. Suddenly the teens heard some noises coming from the building. "Think he's in there?" Sheen asked. "Ya." Libby agreed, twisting the dial on her watch. Inside the building Special Guy knocked Sid into the ground creating a small crater. Sid got up and flew straight for Special Guy, Special Guy dodged him and punched him back to the ground. The team in their suites got inside and saw the two Sids fighting.
"Didn't see this coming." Sheen said surprised. "Ya, me too." Libby agreed. "Which one do we help?" Carl asked. Special Guy blasted Sid to a wall with his heat vision. "The one not shooting lasers from his eyes!" Libby shouted. Just as Special Guy was about to punch Sid again, Sheen raced in and moved him out of the way. "You okay?" Sheen asked. "The only thing hurt is my pride, and maybe my ribs." He groaned. "So the speedster finally joins the fight." Special Guy shouted cockily. "Stay here, I'll handle this." Sheen said super speeding towards him. Special Guy raced in with his own speed going in with a punch, Sheen easily dodged him. "You missed." Sheen said cockily. He went in with another punch but Sheen still easily dodged. "Are you even trying to hit me?" Sheen taunted. Special Guy attacked him with a flurry of punches that Sheen easily dodged. "Give up!" Sheen shouted.
Special Guy smiled and went in with another punch but as Sheen dodged he started to blow at him creating an icy wind that slightly froze Sheen. "What was that!?" Sheen asked. "Freeze breathe." Special Guy smiled. He went at Sheen again and managed to hit him into a wall. "Don't you know, cold is your natural enemy." Just as he was going to attack Sheen, Special Guy was blasted to a wall by Carl. "I'll handle him while you two come up with a plan!" Carl shouted. Carl continued firing sound blasts at Special Guy effectively pinning the mutant to the ground. "He won't be able to keep that up, did you bring a collar?" Sid asked. "If I'd brought a collar, don't you think I would've used it already!?" Libby shouted. "Fair enough. How about maneuver seven." Sid suggested. "That could work." Libby agreed. Carl was exhausted from using his powers and stopped, Special Guy walked up to him and threw him across the room effortlessly. "Okay, I am 100 percent done!" He shouted. His eyes began to glow red. "Where are you hiding!" He shouted. In that instant Special Guy was dealt multiple powerful invisible strikes that actually hurt him. "That's impossible! Folfax can't hit that hard!" Special Guy shouted.
"But I can." Sid replied, hitting Special Guy again while invisible. "You may be able to beat me, but you can't beat this team." Sid proceeded to constantly attack his evil counterpart, unable to even defend himself, Special Guy took the beating with one last powerful punch Sid struck Special Guy to the ground. "And one other thing you should know." Sid said reappearing. "I'm the only Special Guy." Special Guy got up and prepared for another round but his watch began to beep. "Damn! I thought I had more time! This isn't over Vortex, not by a long shot." He shouted before thunderclaping the teens away. When they all got up he was gone.
Unknown Location
The Special Guy clone flew to an unknown location and stepped in a pod.
The team decided to go to Jamey's Lab to see if they could use her equipment to find the evil special guy. "It's no use." Sid complained. "Everything in the lab's toast!" Libby just ended up throwing some toasted piece of junk across the area. "We have to find her." Libby replied. "That psycho version of you could hurt someone." They all missed Jamey but sadly the reality was that they had to solve this one on their own. "Well we won't be able to use any of this stuff." Sheen said, kicking one of the broken devices. "What do we do?" Carl asked. At that moment Carl got a call from Elky. "Hey Elk we're kinda in the middle of something." Carl said. "Well, it's going to have to wait for Sid downtown and he's recking everything." Elky replied. "We're on our way." Carl replied, he then looked at his teammates. "Guys we have a problem."
Retroville, 16:34
At Down Town Retroville, the Special Guy clone was wreaking the city. The local reporter Trisha Thompson was on the scene. "Trisha Thompson here. Special Guy the once thought superhero is wreaking havoc. The police are currently trying to stop him but with him abilities it's unlikely they will." Evil Special Guy picked up a police cruiser and threw it into a building. The officers at the scene were firing their weapons at him but they barely fazed him. "You think your little guns can stop me!" Evil Special Guy shouted as he fired his heat vision at the police just barely missing them. Nick and Elky ran in to try and help. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" Elky questioned. "We have to try and talk some sense into him." Nick replied. The two ran straight for him. "Special Guy, you need to stop this! This isn't you!" She shouted.
Evil Special Guy descended towards them. "You're cute but not really my type." He said bluntly. Evil Special Guy grabbed Nick by her collar and tossed her into the air. Everyone looked in horror as Nick was plummeting to the ground, just as she was about to hit the pavement the real Special Guy flew in and saved his girlfriend. "Thanks." Nick said gladly. "No problem." Sid replied. "This is unexpected. In a shocking turn of events a second Special Guy has shown up to save a girl." Trisha commented. "I'm the real Special Guy! He's just a cheap copy." Sid declared. "He's right." Sheen agreed, racing as Flash in holding Libby and Carl as their alter egos. "That's a fake!" Libby shouted. "You guys again." Evil Special Guy said annoyed. "I thought you'd learned your lesson the last time I took you down."
"Last time I checked you ran from us." Carl commented. "Nice one." Sheen said hi-fiving Carl. Evil Special Guy glared at Carl and Sheen, and charged straight for them, Sheen managed to dodge him thanks to his speed but Carl was struck straight into a truck. "Carl!" Elky shouted and then quickly covered her mouth, everyone looked at her and she instantly began whistling as if she said nothing.
Evil Special Guy went in to attack Sheen; he blew his ice breath at the ground, freezing it. "You're not going anywhere this time, speedy." He grabbed Sheen and threw him into a building. "Let's do this!" Sid called out to Libby. "Right!" Libby replied as she used her powers to make Sid invisible and the super powered boy flew straight for his counterpart. Evil Special Guy quickly turned around and punched Sid straight into the ground. "How did you-" Sid questioned. "Super hearing." Evil Special Guy replied. "You and your little friends may have caught me off guard but I was prepared this time." Sid groaned. "Seriously, how many more powers than me does he have?" Sid groaned standing up. Libby formed a force field dome around Evil Special Guy momentarily trapping him. "Any bright ideas." Libby shouted. "Because I can't keep this up forever!" Sid thought for a moment. "Flash, Echo. Are two okay?" Sheen super sped towards him holding Carl. "Where as fine as we can be." Sheen answered. "We won't beat him charging at him one at a time we have to fight him like we did with Stone."
"Easier said than done." Sheen replied. "Remember what Jamey said, our greatest strength is our teamwork. We can do this." Sid reminded the team. Sheen and Carl nodded in agreement. Evil Special Guy broke out of the force field dome, he charged his heat vision and fired it straight at Libby. Sheen quickly raced to Libby and moved her out of the way. Before Evil Special Guy could react he was blasted into the air by one of Carl's sonic blasts, Sid quickly flew past him and punched him into the ground.
Evil Special Guy struggled to get up before he could regain his composure. Sheen super sped to him and spun him around at a great speed, the moment he stopped he was blasted into a wall by Carl and Libby. He flew out of the building but was struck back into the ground by Sid who was thrown by Sheen at super speed. The heroes kept relentlessly attacking the villain barely giving him a moment to react, with Sid's final attack Evil Special Guy was sent plummeting to the ground. "This isn't possible!" Evil Special Guy groaned. "I'm supposed to be unbeatable!"
"Like I said before, you may be better than me but you're not better than us." Sid smirked. Evil Special Guy glared at him until isbody began to undergo a mysterious transformation, his hair began to turn grey, his skin began to become pale and rekindled. "No! I thought I had more time!" He shouted. "What's wrong with you? Maybe we can help." Sid said, walking towards him. Evil Special Guy kicked him back. "Stay away from me!" He shouted before launching off the ground and flying away. "What was that all about?" Carl asked. The reporter Trisha quickly ran to the teens. "Special Guy! Special Guy! Do you have anything to say about your twin brother's attack?"
"That wasn't my twin brother." Sid replied. "Then who was it?" Trisha asked. "I don't know. But I will." Sid replied, flying off. Sheen picked up Carl and ran off following Sid, with Libby following with her force field disk leaving Trisha confused. The group met up with Elky and Nick at the Candy Bar. "So now we're dealing with evil clones now." Elky commented. "It just gets weirder and weirder around here." Libby commented. "Ya." Nick agreed, looking guilty at Sid. "Sorry I didn't believe you." She apologized to Sid. "It's okay Nick, if I were you I probably would've done the same thing. But something strange is going on. First our old enemies team up against us, then those shadow organizations pitch up, now an evil clone of me. There's something big happening." Sid replied. "Ya, the question is what." Libby commented.
Evil Special Guy again flew to an unknown location, he fell to the ground once he entered the building. "Help me!" He groaned. Martha, Savage's scientist, came running. "You were out too long." She scolded the clone. "I was this close to ending that obsolete bitch." Special Guy shouted. "Don't worry, you'll get your chance in the future, get in your pod before you disintegrate." Martha replied. Evil Special Guy did as he was told, stepping into a pod. "I see our little experiment worked out better than we thought." Savage said, stepping out of the shadows with Max. "Indeed it did sir." Martha replied. "But if I may so humbly ask…"
"What is it?" Savage asked. "Why did we clone your son?" Martha asked. "We need to find Jamey before they do so I need the N-Men distracted, and what's more distracting than fighting an evil clone of yourself." Savage explained. "I see. But why do we need to find Neutron? I'm here." Martha replied. "Look Martha you're good but Jamey is on a different level, with her I know I can find the stones." Savage replied. "What do we do with the clone after we're done with him?" Martha asked with a jealous huff. "We let him die, he's no substitute for the real thing." Savage replied walking off. "Well I guess your days are numbered." Max taunted. "What are you talking about?" Martha asked. Max smiled and kept quiet walking away leaving Martha feeling a little insecure. Max ran to Savage. "Max, I need you to set up phase two." Savage ordered. "And who should the recipient be?" Max asked. "I have the perfect candidate." Savage replied.
New York, Brett's Lab, 20:50
Jamey and Brett had finished building a machine. "Everything's ready." Jamey commented. "Ya, it is." Brett agreed. "Let's get this started." Jamey vacillated. "Don't worry, everything will be okay." Brett said, trying to reassure her. Brett strapped Jamey to the device, he then walked to a console, he pushed a button and a safety glass came between the two.
"Are you sure that glass will hold?" Jamey asked. "It's pure carbonadium." Brett replied. "Activating link with Cerebral Inhibitor." Brett said, pushing a series of buttons. Jamey winced. "Are you okay?" He asked concerned. "Ya, I'm fine." She replied. "Okay, deactivating Cerebral Inhibitor." Brett commented. Jamey felt a searing pain in her head, her skin and hair instantly changed back to their original colors. "Is it working?" Brett asked. Jamey's skin and hair instantly turned orange and green again, she began to grow in muscle mass and size, she began to roar thrashing around transforming into Hulk. "That's not good." Brett commented. Hulk then transformed back into Jamey, Jamey then transformed back into Hulk, the teen girl kept switching back and forth between the forms. Jamey's body began to glow with an intense light which began to mess with Brett's instruments. "What's going on?" Brett asked. In a flash of light Jamey exploded damaging a section of the lab. Brett got out of the wreckage. "Jamey! Jamey!" He called out running to the rubble. He dug through the rubble digging Jamey out. "Jamey, are you okay?" Brett asked. "Did anyone catch the number of that bus?" She groaned. "Did it work?" Brett looked his friend up and down. "Well your skin isn't orange anymore so I guess. How do you feel?" Brett replied. "Honestly, lighter. As if something's missing." Jamey replied. Suddenly something began to move through the rubble, at that moment Hulk stood up looking right at Jamey and Brett leaving the two stunned.
Retroville, Sheen's House, Saturday, 20:34
It was an interesting evening at the Estevez household, Roberto had come home early and the family was enjoying a nice family dinner. "That was the best dinner ever." Sheen chirped as he rubbed his stomach. "You must have enjoyed it. You had seven helpings." Roberto replied. "I have an ultra fast metabolism, I have to have fuel in the tank." Sheen replied. "Daddy, can we have dessert please!?" Gracia asked. "Only after you take your plates to the kitchen." Roberto replied. "Allow me." Sheen said instantly, using his super speed to take away everyone's plates and replacing them with cake plates with slices of chocolate cake on them. "Nunca me acostumbraré a eso.(I'll never get used to that.)" Sheen's Abuela said shocked. "You get used to it." Roberto commented. "Yay!" Gracia cheered. "You're the best!" Ricardo agreed. "Ya, the best." Nate lamented which Abuela noticed. After dinner Nate went out to meet a group of his friends. "Haven't seen you around lately." One of Nate's friends commented. "I've been dealing with stuff at home." Nate replied. "Is it about your brother?" One of his female friends asked. "Ya." Nate answered. "What's the issue?" Another one of his friends asked. "I can't tell you but let's just say, if I wasn't in his shadow before I definitely am now." Nate replied.
Suddenly someone walked up to the group of young teens. "Aren't you…" Nate said, recognizing his face. "Yes I am." The mystery figure interrupted, he looked at Nate's friends. "Get out of here!" He ordered them. The teens scattered away in fear. "What do you want?" Nate asked. "I'm here to help you." The mystery figure replied. "How?" Nate asked. The mysterious figure pulled out a vial containing a serum. "With this." He replied. "What is that?" Nate asked. "Let's just say with this, Sheen Estevez won't be the fastest man alive anymore. Nate looked at the figure shocked with a hint of intrigue.
New York, Brett's lab, 21:00
Jamey had just exploded, apparently splitting herself into her human self and the monstrous Hulk. "What happened?" Hulk groaned rubbing her head, after looking around she noticed Jamey. "You!" She shouted viciously. Hulk charged straight for Jamey and grabbed her, slamming Jamey into a wall. "Jamey!" Brett cried. "I'm going to make you suffer, Neutron!" Hulk shouted strangling Jamey. As Jamey began to turn blue from the lack of oxygen, Hulk began to feel strange, she began to feel as if she couldn't breathe, Brett ran straight for Hulk holding a pipe and hit her in the head with it. Hulk turned around and dropped Jamey. She then began to walk towards Brett. Jamey regained her composure and quickly thought for a second, she realized that Hulk was also struggling to breath. "Hey Hulk stop! Or else!" She shouted. Hulk turned around and glared at Jamey. "Or else what!?"
"You felt it didn't you. When you tried to choke the life out of me. We're still connected, if I die then you die as well." Jamey explained. "What of it?" Hulk replied. "If you don't stop what your doing right now, I'll kill myself." Jamey declared. "You don't have the nerve." Hulk replied. Jamey then grabbed a knife and held it to her neck. "If it were to protect innocent people from you. I wouldn't hesitate." Jamey replied. Seeing that Jamey was serious, Hulk stopped her assault, she went to one of the chairs and sat down. "So genius, what now?" She asked. Jamey ignored her, putting down the knife, and went straight for Brett. "Are you okay?" She asked. "Ya, she didn't do anything." Brett replied, he then looked at Hulk. "How are there two of you now?" A loud growl could be heard from the monster. "I am nothing like her!" Hulk shouted. "My best guess, because Hulk was basically a split personality from me when we mutated we split up giving her her own body." Jamey replied. "So what now?" Brett asked. Jamey turned around and looked right at Hulk who was glaring back at her. "I honestly don't know."
Retroville, La Rue de Paris, Saturday, 20:38
A week later at a restaurant called La Rue de Paris, Sid, Nick, Carl, and Elky were enjoying a double date. At their table the teens were checking out what to order. "Seriously this is what they charge for entrée's!" Carl said shocked. "Don't worry Carl, this is on me." Nick commented. "Oh in that case." Carl replied, he then turned to one of the waiters. "I'll have the Cassoulet and Tarte Tatin for dessert." Elky just giggled at her boyfriend's antics. "What are you having Sid?" Elky asked. "I'll have what Carl's having." Sid replied. "What about you?" Nick asked Elky. "I'll have the…" Before Elky could finish her sentence a blur raced into the building. In speed time Sid saw a man racing towards people picking their pockets, using his own super speed Sid got out of his chair and followed him out of the building. "What was that!?" Nick asked Sid before realizing he wasn't there. Sid raced off following the speedster, she got closer and closer to him only slightly, seeing his face recognizing it. The speedster started to run faster, out maneuvering Sid before escaping. Sid stopped. "Sheen?" He said confused. Sid met up with the others outside of the restaurant. "Do you have any idea what that was?" Elky asked. "A speedster." Sid replied. "Like you and Sheen?" Carl asked. "I'm not a hundred percent sure but I think that was Sheen." Sid replied. "You think he's gone back to his life of crime?" Carl asked. "Let's not jump to conclusions." Sid replied. "Nick, Elky, I suggest you two go home. Something tells me this is going to be a long night." Carl could see the disappointment in Elky's face. "Sid's right." Carl agreed. "Fine but you owe me a fancy dinner." Elky said to Carl. "I'm sure Nick wouldn't mind that." Carl replied. "Sure I wouldn't." Nick replied, she then looked at Sid. "Be careful." Sid kiss Nick. "Always am." Sid replied, grabbing Carl and flying off.
Libby's House
Sid and Carl flew to Libby's house, they knocked on the door and Francine answered. "Sid, Carl. What are you doing here so late?" Francine asked. "We have N-Men business and we couldn't get through to Libby." Sid answered. "Well she's here. She's in her room." Francine replied. The two teens went straight to Libby's room and opened the door to see Sheen and Libby listening to music. "Hey guys, what's up." Libby said. "Aren't you guys supposed to be on a double date." Sheen commented. "We were but… I'm sorry I've got to ask. What are you two doing here alone?" Sid replied. "Well, you guys were out and it's not like I have a lot of friends since I ditched the plastics. Who else am I supposed to hangout with?" Libby replied. "And most of my friends other than you guys are criminals, and all they ever wanna do on the weekend is rob someone or vandalize something, and I'm just not into that kind of thing right now." Sheen replied. "That reminds me, the reason we're here is because, while we were on our date, the restaurant was robbed by a speedster." Sid explained. "Really!?" Sheen said, shocked. "Ya, and when I followed him I got a glimpse of him and he kinda looked like you." Sid continued. "Well it couldn't have been Sheen. He's been here with me all night." Libby commented. "Maybe it's another clone, like the Special Guy we fought last week." Carl commented. "Could be but either way we need to stop him." Sid replied. "Should we call the base?" Libby asked. "No." Sheen answered. "Something tells me they won't be much help." Sheen hasn't felt exactly safe using the base since he knows about Savage so the smallest amount of contact with them the better. "Then what do we do?" Carl asked. "Remember those friends I was talking about…"
New York, Brett's Penthouse, 21:15
Jamey was working in Brett's lab peacefully until Brett walked in with an annoyed look on his face. "You need to fix this!" He shouted. "Fix what?" Jamey asked. "Your mutant twin has done nothing all week but sit, watch T.V. and stink up my bathroom!" He shouted. "What do you want me to do about it?" Jamey asked. "I don't know. Fuse back with her." Brett replied. "I have no idea how to do that, plus it was your idea that I finish my mutation." Jamey replied. "I didn't think it would create an alternate copy of you!" Brett shouted. "Have you figured out how you two split anyway?" Jamey nodded and went to show Brett her findings. "Ya I have. You know how I used to be schizophrenic." Jamey explained. "I do." Brett replied bluntly. "And how the other me was a megalomaniac who enjoyed hurting people." Jamey continued. "Yes." He answered again. "And how I implanted a chip in my brain to suppress her personality."
"What are you getting at!?" Brett asked, getting annoyed. "Well when I was affected by the Neutron Chamber it affected me more than I thought, my I.Q. was 158 before the chamber, now it's immensely higher." Jamey explained. "How high is it?" Brett asked. "I don't know but last I checked over 230. Hulk and I are essentially two sides of the same coin, I'm as smart as she is strong." Jamey answered. "Wow." Brett said, stunned. "But what are you going to do about Hulk?" Jamey groaned. "I don't know Brett. She hates me and to tell you the truth I hate her." Jamey replied. "You two need to come to an understanding because from where I'm standing you're stuck with each other." Brett replied. "What's your suggestion?" Jamey asked. A few minutes later Brett managed to get Jamey and Hulk into a room together. There was an awkward silence in the room, Hulk was folding her arms while grunting looking away from Jamey, and Jamey was twiddling her thumbs looking away from Hulk. Brett was sitting in front of the two awkwardly looking at them. "Okay, I know you two have bad blood between you." Brett commented. "By bad blood do you mean having a monster living inside you who wants nothing but death and destruction." Jamey commented which really offended Hulk. "And by death and destruction don't you mean saving your sorry ass from the brink of death." Hulk retorted. "Well at least you can now perform complete sentences now." Jamey replied. "I'm sorry if the chip you implanted in your brain to suppress my personality scrambled my mind." Hulk replied. "I wish it completely got rid of you!" Jamey replied. "I'll get rid of you now!" Hulk threatened. "You'd just be getting rid of yourself." Jamey replied. "Why did I ever want to protect you!" Hulk shouted. "Now ladies let's keep this civil." Brett said, managing to slightly calm the girls down. "Now Hulk you said you were doing all the things you did to protect Jamey. Please explain."
"I was created when Jamey faced a terrible trauma. What that trauma was is currently unknown to me, but when I was born I knew what I had to do, be Jamey's abrasive side. Someone who would have the balls to take down anyone who threatened her." Hulk explained. "But it didn't really turn out like that." Brett replied. "Ya, you ended up assaulting just about anyone who was slightly mean to me, then you stepped it up by becoming a full blown murderer." Jamey commented. "That wasn't completely my fault Neutron. I only ever popped up when you were feeling emotionally troubled!" Hulk shouted. "Maybe if you could keep your cool I wouldn't be here!" Brett needed to step in. "Jamey, Hulk. I think both of you need to calm down. No one achieves anything by screaming at each other." Brett said, trying to calm the girls down. Hulk got enraged. "You know what Neutron? You need me, you've always needed me. That's why I keep coming back. Maybe if you had me by your side, Savage wouldn't have been able to trick you. You may have one of the highest intellects the world has ever seen but you are far too trusting and naive. You should've asked yourself the big questions. Why was he in such a rush to activate your chamber, why was he so willing to let you as a child take the blame for what he did." Jamey began to hear the truth in Hulk's words. "It's because he was playing a bigger game and you played right into his hands. And when you finally figured out what he did? He shot you in the head." Hulk continued. "Face the facts Neutron, if it wasn't for me your story would've ended, if it wasn't for me your friends would be going into the battle to come blind as bats. And all you can do is criticize me for the things I did when they were your fault to begin with."
"What do you mean?" Jamey asked. "Like I said before, that chip you put in your brain suppressed my personality. When you mutated, a little bit of me awoke that's why your skin turned orange, and when you were put into a situation that almost killed you I woke up but because that chip was still active it decreased my intelligence and made me go feral. Thinking everything and everyone was a threat to you, adding the fact that you were also in control created a large mess." Hulk explained. Jamey kept quiet, Hulk began to walk away. "I'm done with you Neutron, all you've ever brought into my life is suffering. Try not to die." Jamey didn't know what to say. "Hulk, wait." Brett said, trying to stop her. Hulk ignored him and walked out of the room.
Retroville, 22:48
Sid, Carl, Libby, and Sheen were searching the streets in their super persona's. "We've been searching for hours." Carl groaned. "Can't we just call it a night." Then he let out a yawn. "You just want to get back to your girlfriend." Libby smirked. "Of course I do." Carl answered honestly. "She's a smart pretty girl who's actually into me." Libby just rolled her eyes. "Can you two focus?" Sid commented. "We're dealing with a speedster, they could literally be here any second." Sheen zipped in. "He's right. My buddies told me that there's been mutant jacking people near this area so this is the best place to wait." Sheen agreed, taking a bite of pizza. "Where did you get that?" Carl asked. "I ordered a pizza and picked it up five seconds ago." Sheen explained. "Did you even think about sharing?" Carl scoffed. "I need it more than you do. Super speed burns a lot of calories." Sheen replied. "Dude I'm starving. I skipped dinner for this. Give me a slice of pizza!" Carl ordered. "I would, Carl, I really would." Sheen replied, Sheen quickly used his super speed to eat the whole pizza. "But sorry it's all gone." That just made Carl mad. "You did that on purpose!" Carl argued. "No I didn't." Sheen playfully replied. "You always do this!" Carl argued. As Carl was screaming at him, Sheen's perception began to slow down, he noticed someone running with lightning speed right down the street that went straight past them, Sheen instantly gave chase leaving his friends. "And another thing!" Carl shouted before realizing that Sheen was gone. "Where'd he go?" He asked the others. Sheen was running after the speedster, the speedster noticed Sheen was following him and began to make all sorts of turns in an effort to lose him, Sheen began to push himself racing past the speedster, u-turning and knocking them to the ground. "You're fast but I'm faster." Sheen gloated. Sheen's face went from a smug smile to a horrified look when he got a good look at the speedster's face. The speedster got up and revealed themselves to be Sheen's younger brother Nate. "Nate, what are you doing?" Sheen asked him, confused. "What I have to do." Nate replied. "How did you get powers?" Sheen asked.
"With this!" Nate shouted holding out a syringe. "What is that?" Sheen asked. "This is a drug that gives me super speed." Nate confessed. "How? Where did you get that?" Sheen asked. "Let's just say I got it from an old friend of yours." Nate smirked. "Who?" Sheen asked. "I'll let them tell you." Nate replied. "Why are you doing this?" Sheen asked. "To finally get out of your shadow!" Nate shouted. "My shadow? What are you talking about?" Sheen asked. "All my life, I've lived in your shadow, brother. You were always the smart one, the funny one, the athletic one, the one everybody looked up to. I could live with that, but then you got powers and it was like the universe was choosing you again. But with this drug we're finally on equal playing grounds." Nate explained. "Nate, I know you may think things are bad but this isn't the way-" Sheen tried to explain. "Enough!" Nate shouted, interrupting his brother, Nate injected himself with more of the drug, he raced off pushing Sheen aside, leaving the teen shocked. Sheen raced back to his friends. "Dude you just disappeared. Where'd you go?" Carl asked. "I saw the speedster and followed him." Sheen explained. "Him." Sid commented. "You saw his face, didn't you."
"Ya." Sheen lamented. "The speedster is my little brother Nate." He confessed. Everyone looked at Sheen in shock. Nate raced off to an alley. "Did you get the stuff?" A mysterious voice called out. "No, I ran into trouble." Nate replied. "What kind of trouble?" Nate turned to the other guy. "My brother found me, I managed to get away." Nate replied.
New York, Brett's Apartment, 23:10
Brett walked straight to Jamey. "Jamey, what are we going to do?" He asked, slightly panicking. "I don't know, it's not like we can force her to stay." Jamey replied. "If she leaves this building the feds will know that you're here and it will open up a whole can of worms!" Brett shouted. "I know. I know!" Jamey shouted, rubbing her head. "What do you want me to do about it!?" Face to face Brett was just as frustrated as Jamey. "Talk to her." Brett replied. "Fine." Jamey agreed standing up and walked over to Hulk who was packing things into a suitcase. "What are you even packing?" Jamey asked, slightly confused. "What's it to you?" Hulk snarled. "Okay, I deserve that." Jamey replied. "Look Hulk, I hate to say it but you were right." Hill pause for a moment. "What was that?" Hulk replied slightly smug. "You heard what I said. You were right. If you were around then maybe Savage wouldn't have been able to get me, the chamber wouldn't have exploded and hundreds of people wouldn't be dead." Jamey replied. Seeing that Jamey was trying to make amends, Hulk made a confession of her own. "Look, I could've handled things a lot better myself. If I was a little less obsessive about keeping you safe, maybe you wouldn't have suppressed my personality." Jamey gave a tight lipped smile. "Maybe you and I can start over. Not as my aggressive alternate personality but maybe as sisters." Jamey commented. "Maybe you're right." Hulk agreed. Jamey extended her fist to Hulk who fist pumped her. "Oww!" Both of them screamed in unison because Hulk didn't know her own strength which resulted in both laughing afterwards with Brett looking on fondly.
Retroville, 00:13
Sid, Carl, Libby, and Sheen were on a rooftop waiting for word from the military base. Libby went to go talk to Sheen. "Hey are you okay?" Libby asked. "I don't think I'll be fine for a while." Sheen replied. "You know you can talk to me." Libby replied. "I'm kinda in the same boat." Trying to ease his stress. "Fine. Nate and I have never had a great relationship. He was always a loner. I tried getting close to him but we just never clicked. Now he's on a speed drug and commiting crimes for who knows who." Sheen explained. "Shawn and I were exactly the same. To tell you the truth I didn't really know him that well. But he's my brother and I'd do anything to ensure he's safe." Libby ranted. "Me too." Sheen agreed. "Don't forget I'm here for you too. I also kind of know how you feel too." Carl added, which just caused Sheen to turn around and look at him with a look that read 'really?' "Oh, yeah I have no clue to not know where or what my sibling is up to or worry about if they are in trouble or not?" Carl started reminding everyone that Jamey was his sister and her absence was affecting him a bit. Sheen down at his shoes feeling like a real heel. "Sorry. You're right and Carl. Thanks." Carl gave him a smile saying no problem. "Okay got it. Thanks Dad." Sid replied on his phone. "Did you get anything?" Sheen asked. Sid ended the call and looked at Sheen. "Ya, thanks to the satellites we found your brother. He's by the peer, you better get there right no-" Sheen raced off before Sid could finish his sentence. "Now." He finished. Sheen ran as fast as he could, eventually making it to the peer. He used his slowed perception to carefully look for his brother's whereabouts. He kept looking until he spotted his brother searching one of the oil tankers. Sheen sped towards him. "Nate! What are you doing!?" Sheen shouted. "If I want more of this drug Sheen I have to do what he says!" Nate shouted with a jittery tone. Sheen noticed his brother was beginning to become more unstable. "Nate. You need help. If you come with me maybe-"
"The only help I need is this!" Nate shouted, injecting himself with more of the drug. "Ahh! That's the good stuff. This drug gives me such a rush. I think that's what I'll call it. Rush." Nate super sped straight for Sheen going in with a punch, with little effort Sheen dodged him. "Stop this Nate! I don't want to hurt you." Sheen shouted. "You're the only one who's going to get hurt!" Nate shouted as he raced towards his brother again and unleashed a flurry of punches at his brother; Sheen effortlessly dodged all of them before delivering a powerful punch that sent Nate flying to a wall. "You can't beat me Nate!" Sheen declared. "Says you!" Nate shouted running in a different direction trying to get away from Sheen; Sheen immediately followed him, overtaking him and intercepting him. Nate tried to run from his brother again but as before, Sheen effortlessly overtook and intercepted him. "I'm faster than you Nate. Just stand down!" Sheen shouted. "It's just like you to always be better than me! You never let up! But I'm better than you now Sheen! I'm better than you!" Nate screamed as he injected himself with another vile of rush. Nate's body began to vibrate and he super sped to his brother, striking him into a wall. Nate ran and grabbed Sheen, he picked him up and dragged him across the town, Nate then threw Sheen with incredible force slamming him into a building. As Sheen fell to the ground, Nate super sped to him again and grabbed his leg dragging him across the town again, and slammed Sheen into the ground. "You see Sheen!" Nate shouted, unleashing a flurry of punches at his brother. "I am finally better than you!" Sheen tried to get away but Nate intercepted him, knocking him into the ground. "Nate, you don't have to do this!" Sheen pleaded. "Yes Sheen I do!" Nate replied, vibrating his hand, preparing to plunge it into his brother's heart.
Nate went for the kill but phased right through Sheen who had made himself intangible. "What!? How did you do that!?" Nate shouted. Sheen didn't answer and immediately punched Nate in the face before Nate could even react. Nate charged at his brother who dodged him and unleashed a powerful flurry of punches and kicks at him. Nate quickly rebounded but Sheen gave him a powerful kick before the latter could even react. Nate tried to run away but Sheen caught up with him and slammed him into the ground. "How!? I was kicking your ass a second ago." Nate shouted. "You don't get it do you. Any speed boost you get from taking that drug is temporary." Sheen shouted. Nate charged at him again but Sheen instantly struck him back to the ground. "Every second." Sheen shouted as Nate tried to attack him again as he effortlessly dodged him causing the teen to trip. "You get a little bit slower. But I stay the same." Nate realized he couldn't win and tried to run but Sheen raced ahead and intercepted him. "I'm going to get you the help you need whether you like it or not." Sheen declared but before Sheen could grab his brother he was blasted back by a fireball. "Sorry Estevez, your brother is coming with me!" Shawn declared, descending to the duo. "Shawn!?" Sheen shouted in shock. "You're the one behind this!?" With a laugh Shawn replied. "You could say that. Now Nathaniel, say goodbye to your brother. We need to get going now."
"Nate, you don't have to do this, please listen to reason!" Sheen begged. "If you want more of the drug you better come here now!" Shawn ordered Nate. "Nate, you don't need to keep taking Rush!" Sheen begged. "Rush." Shawn commented. "I like that name." Nate thought for a second. "You're right, Sheen, we're familia." Nate went to take Sheen's hand but quickly double-crossed him, knocking Sheen to the ground and running away. Just as Sheen was about to follow his brother Shawn fired a fireball that blocked Sheen's path allowing Nate to get away. "See you soon Sheen." Shawn laughed flying away. Sheen dropped to the ground. After some time the rest of the team showed up."Sheen are you okay?" Libby asked. "Did you find your brother?" Carl asked. "It was him." Sheen answered. "Who?" Sid asked. "It was Shawn." Sheen replied. "What?" Libby asked, shocked. "Your brother somehow obtained this drug and gave it to my brother. Now he's controlling him." Sheen explained. "Sheen." Carl called out. "It's all my fault. If I just stayed in the warehouse with Shawn he wouldn't have done this to my brother." Sheen cried. "Sheen, don't blame yourself. Shawn and Nate both made their own choices out of pure selfishness. All we can do is try to get them back on the right side." Libby said, trying to console him. "And how do we do that?" Sheen asked defeated as Libby grabbed his hand. "Together."

Shawn flew straight into the building. "Did it work?" Max asked Shawn as he walked in. "Just as we planned. Estevez's little brother caused a little trouble to distract the N-Men." This was good news. "Excellent. Where is the kid right now?" Max replied. "I stashed him at an abandoned warehouse." Shawn replied. "A lot of those in this town." Max commented. "I know." Shawn agreed. Max began to walk off. "I have to ask. Why didn't you just give this drug to me or the army?" Shawn asked. "Oh you don't want the stuff anywhere near you. It causes rapid cellular degeneration. Most of our test subjects died within an hour." Max explained. "I see. Then why has the kid lasted as long as he has?" Shawn asked. "My theory is that because he is Sheen's brother the serum will be less effective on him. But he is still suffering the effects." Max replied. "How much time does he have?" Shawn asked. "At the rate he's taking the stuff. A couple months at best." Max replied. "Is there a problem?" Shawn said a bit hesitantly. "No. No there isn't." He hates Sheen but his brother didn't deserve that.

Mystique walked over to her mistress Queen Flora. "My Queen." She said bowing. "The arrangements have finally been made." Flora let out a sinister smile. "Then let us begin."
Retroville, Sheen's House, Sunday, 08:23
It was a chaotic morning at the Estevez house. Everyone was running around preparing to go to church. Sheen was in his room lying on his bed, looking at the ceiling, thinking about everything that happened the night before contemplating how he was going to tell his family about what happened with Nate. "Move it or lose it, Sheen. Mass starts at nine." Roberto shouted through Sheen's door. "I'm on my way Dad." Sheen replied. Sheen walked out of his room and met his family in their dining room. "You're wearing that to church!?" Roberto asked. "No puedes usar eso. (You can't wear that.)" His grandma commented. "I need to speak to you two. Gracia, Rick can you please give us the room." Sheen replied. "Why?" Gracia asked. Seeing his son was unusually serious, Roberto agreed to his son's request. "Gracia, Ricardo. Please go play in your rooms." Gracia and Ricardo followed their fathers orders and instantly left the room. "What is it, Sheen?" Roberto asked. "There's something I have to tell you. You see… Nate." Sheen said, trying to tell his father and grandmother the truth." ¿Se trata de cómo ha estado todo triste? No te preocupes por eso, muchacho, hablé con él. (Is it about how he's been all gloomy. Don't worry about that, my boy, I spoke with him.) "It's not that, Abuela. You see, last night the team and I fought a mutant." Sheen tried to explain. "What happened!" Roberto said with a concerned look. "Was Nate injured! Is that why he hasn't been answering me!" Sheen had to calm his dad down. "No Dad it's nothing like that. Actually… It's a lot worse." Sheen continued. "What are you talking about?" Roberto asked. "Nate has gotten himself mixed up with a bad crowd. They gave him this drug that gives him super speed. Now he's committing crimes for them in exchange for more vials of the drug. Last night my team found him and the two of us fought. I won but Nate got away." Sheen explained. "My goodness." Abuela said sitting down. Roberto just gave his son a blank expression. Sheen began to tear up. "I'm sorry Dad. Nate said the reason he's doing all of this was because of me. Maybe if I did something diff…" Sheen was stopped by his father embracing him with a hug. "This is not your fault Sheen. This is not your fault. All you've ever done was help people. Nate is wrestling with his own inadequacies. It may be our job to help him and guide him out of his problem, but we're not responsible for his decisions." Hugging his father back. "Thanks Dad."
New York, Brett's Lab, Thursday, 10:37
A few days later Jamey, Brett, and Hulk were in Brett's training room helping Hulk with her aggression. "Okay Hulk are you ready?" Jamey called out. "Born that way." Hulk replied, hitting the palm of her hand. "Okay then. Release the drones." Jamey told Brett as he tapped his tablet and four weaponized drones flew to Hulk. The drones began firing bullets at Hulk which barely fazed her. Hulk leaped at one of the drones and smashed it into the ground instantly destroying it. The other two drones began firing at Hulk's back, Hulk turned around, grabbed both and slammed them into each other. "Is that the best you got!" Hulk boasted. Brett smiled and tapped his tablet again, a missile flew out of the last drone and blasted Hulk to a wall. Hulk leaped up enraged and charged straight for the drone. Hulk then proceeded to repeatedly smash the drone into the ground screaming. "HULK SMASH STUPID MACHINE!" Jamey reacted as quickly as possible. "Hulk calm down!" Jamey shouted. Hulk continued to smash the drone into the ground, breaking the ground apart. "Jamey!" Brett called out. "I'm on it." Jamey replied, pulling out a syringe injecting herself with a sedative. Hulk began to become dazed and confused, effectively calming her down. "Hulk." Jamey said in a groggy voice. "You need to gain… control of your emotions." Hulk nodded "I… get it it's just I get so angry sometimes." Hulk replied. "I know, I know. Your anger receptors glow up like a Christmas tree whenever you get worked up no matter how insignificant. But you have to learn how to direct it properly." Jamey replied. "Let's do it again." Hulk shouted. "Are you sure you can handle it? You already look worked up." Brett commented. "YES!" She shouted viciously which made Jamey and Brett glare at her. "I mean, yes I can handle it." Hulk corrected herself, calming down. "Okay then. Release the drones." Jamey told Brett as he tapped on his tablet, sending four attack drones after Hulk. "Jamey I have a question…" Brett tried to ask Jamey. "Don't worry, Hulk is actually making incredible progress; she'll be ready in no time." Jamey answered. "I know. That's not what I wanted to ask. These are my drones. How do you plan on paying me back for them?" Brett asked. "Huh, don't worry about it, I'm good for it." Jamey replied, slightly nervous.
Retroville, 13:56
Sheen as the Flash was racing around the city in an effort to find his brother. He continued to run around the streets until he was stopped by when he slammed into a violet colored force field wall. When Sheen hit the ground he was then trapped in a force field bubble. "What the heck!" Sheen shouted. Libby made herself visible and levitated to Sheen. "Libby, let me go!" Sheen shouted. "Not until you explain." She replied. "Explain what?" Sheen asked. "You've been ghosting the team. You haven't been showing up for training or taking any of our calls. What's up?" Libby explained. "I'm looking for my brother!" Sheen shouted. "Nate?" Libby commented. "He's out there doing who knows what, taking that god forsaken drug." Sheen explained. "Then why are you shutting us out?" Libby asked. "I'm a speedster Lib. I can cover a lot more ground myself." Sheen replied. "And how's that working for you?" Libby sternly replied. Sheen remained silent. "Look, Sheen. Nate's working for my brother which means you aren't going to find him until he wants you to." Libby explained. "I just want my brother back." Sheen replied, breaking down in tears. "I do too. But you aren't going to accomplish anything lone wolfing it. We're a team and that means something. I… I mean we will always have your back." Libby continued. Sheen began to smile. "Huh… I may be the fastest man alive but I'm slow to realize what's in front of me. The N-Men are also my family, you guys won't let me go at it alone." Libby smiled and released Sheen. "Now why don't we go to the Candy Bar and you can buy me a smoothie."
"Sure." Sheen agreed before feeling a rumbling in the ground. "What's that?" Sheen asked. Before Libby could answer him the ground broke apart with giant vines flying into the air. The vines then began to entangle forming into a body, arms, legs and a head. The creature roared then began to attack the city. "Ahh Libby. I think we need to put a rain check on that smoothie." Sheen commented. "Noted." Libby agreed, turning the dial on her watch, changing into the Invisister. Sheen raced to the streets and moved as many people out of the creature's way as he could. Libby created a force field disk to ride on and flew straight at the beast. She created multiple force field disks and threw them at the creature, slicing off multiple of its vines. The vines then began to regenerate, completely healing the creature. "Well that didn't work." Libby commented. The creature launched its arm at her, Libby quickly changed the force field disk she was standing on into a bubble. The creature struck her, sending her plummeting into the ground creating a small crater. Libby released the force field, the creature lunged at her again, Libby didn't have the strength to create another one, before the beast could strike her Sid flew in as Special Guy and quickly moved her out of the way. "Thanks." Libby said, trying to catch her breath. "No problem." Sid replied, he then looked at the plant creature. "What the heck is that thing!?"
"Don't know but it's tough." Libby replied, trying to see if she could get a better view of the attacker. "I'll handle this." Sid declared flying straight at the creature but went straight through it. Before he could react the creature turned around and slammed Sid into a building. Libby went straight to Sid. "Are you okay?" Sid huffed out. "Ya." Sheen raced in holding gardening tools. "Time to whack some weeds!" Sid grunted as he rolled his eyes. "Did you really have to stop to tell us that lame quip?" Sid asked. "No. But I thought it would lighten the mood." Sheen replied, racing to the creature. Sheen used the tools to slice and chop multiple of the creature's vines but the creature simply regenerated from all the damage. "This is insane. Nothing we do's working." Sheen commented. "We need something big." Sid suggested. "We need Carl." Libby commented. "Where is he?" At that moment the teens saw Carl as Echo running down the street panting as if he was about to faint. "I… Should… Really… Workout… More." He panted as he got to them. "What took you so long?" Sheen asked. "If you guys haven't noticed, I can't fly and I don't have super speed!" Carl shouted. "So it will take me a while to get to places."
"Okay sorry. Can you handle that." Sheen replied, gesturing to the plant creature. "Sure." Carl agreed. Carl walked towards the beast, he did some stretches. "Any day now." Sid commented. "Can you give me a second. Kinda ran five city blocks." Carl replied. "You might want to cover your ears." Carl suggested, which his teammates quickly did. Carl took a deep breath, he opened his eyes and unleashed a powerful sound blast that shattered every window in the area and blew the top half of the creature to pieces. "Wow!" Sheen said genuinely impressed. "You've been practicing." Sid positively commented. Carl smiled, suddenly the creature regenerated, regaining its top half. "Well that didn't work." Libby commented. "Do you think you can hit that thing again with a bigger blast?" Sid asked. "Ahhhh, no." Carl replied, scratching his head. "Does anyone have a plan E?" Sid asked. "I do." Sheen answered. "What?" Libby asked. "As Ultra Lord always says. When in doubt, throw them into space." Sheen suggested hopefully. "And how do we do that?" Sid quickly asked. "Well I could form a bubble around the thing." Libby suggested. "That would allow me to throw it into space." Sid agreed, finishing out the plan. "Can you make a dome that big?" Carl asked. "You're not the only one who's been practicing." Libby replied, closing her eyes, when she opened them again they began to glow white, a giant bubble began to surround the beast. "Do it now! I can't hold this forever!" She shouted. Sid flew straight for the beast and picked up the bubble and flew straight up. He flew straight for the stratosphere and threw the beast straight into space. Sid flew back to his friends. "Well that wasn't too hard." He commented. "Well if that's the adventure for today. Let's go get some pizza." Sheen suggested. Before anyone could agree; Carl, Libby, Sheen, and Libby's phones began to glitch.
In New York the laptop Brett was working on as well as the tablet Jamey was working on began to glitch too when suddenly a video began to play. Flora presented herself. "Greetings America. I am Flora, leader of the Green Fist and I'm here to help you. Well not you as in people you as in the earth. You see, our planet has gained a little human problem and I want to solve it. With the help of some enlightened individuals I created a mutated plant beast to cleanse the planet."
"Guess she has to go with plan B then." Sheen commented. "I sent a proto type to Retroville. " Sid looked around nervously. "Did she just say proto type." Sid said concerned. "To test how powerful my Greenzilla could be. And I have to say it exceeded all my expectations." Flora continued. "In about thirty seconds.'' She said checking her watch. "200 hundred, bigger, stronger, and more viscous Greenzillas will sprout across the country to annihilate everything. You may ask yourself why am I telling you this. To be honest I thought it'd be rude for you to meet your imminent destruction and not know why. See you soon. Well… Not really." Flora's transmission ended. "This is bad." Sheen commented. The ground began to shake. "No, I think it's worse than we could ever imagine." Sid commented. Instantly two much larger plant monsters sprang from the ground and began tearing the city apart. "Sheen, you, and I need to focus on getting as many people out of danger as possible while Carl and Libby distract those things." Sid ordered. "Got it." Sheen agreed, racing towards the beasts. Sid flew off with Libby following with Carl on a force field disk. All over the country Greenzillas began sprouting from the ground. Causing untold havoc.
New York, Brett's Lab, 14:15
"Jamey. What are we going to do?" Brett asked. "I don't know." Jamey replied. Hulk, Jamey, and Brett felt the ground tremble, they left the lab and watched from the penthouse's balcony the Greenzillas sprouting from the ground. "I need to go and help." Hulk declared. "No." Jamey commented. "Neutron, people are dying out there. I can help." Hulk debated. "No Hulk. You can't. You are not yet in control of your anger and those Greenzilla monsters are made up of what seems to be sentient vines. I don't care how strong you are. You wouldn't make a big difference in the grand scheme of things." Jamey explained. "Then what do we do!" Hulk complained. "I'm thinking." Jamey replied. "Not trying to rush you J. But I estimate at the rate these monsters are destroying the city and the ineffectiveness of the various weapons being thrown at them we'll all be dead in a few hours." Brett explained. "I know. Just give me a second. Think Jamey, think." Jamey said, trying to concentrate, in a spark of brilliance she had an idea. "Brain blast!" Brett smiled at his friend knowing exactly what that means. "You got a plan?" Brett asked. Jamey smiled at him. "Ya. This one's a bit of a hail mary. Everything has its own unique frequency." Brett nodded in understanding. "Ya." Brett answered. "Well I'm thinking of turning it up to eleven. If I can get Echo to use his sound powers we can destroy every Greenzilla in one shot." Jamey explained. "And how do we ensure people and well… good plant life don't disintegrate along with them?" Brett asked. "This is more of a theory. If I can study one of the plants, maybe I can find a frequency that will only destroy the Greenzillas." Jamey replied. "Is that even possible?" Brett asked. "By normal scientific means no but Echo is a mutant who can manipulate sound waves in ways I don't fully understand. In fact out of all the mutants, Hulk included he might be the most powerful. He just doesn't know it." Jamey explained. "I get you to have faith in him Jamey but this is a very risky plan." Brett replied. "Unfortunately we don't have many other options." Jamey replied. "Okay, bearing the massive risk we're taking with your friend. If you try to contact anyone, the feds and the army will be here faster than the Flash." Brett replied. "I know but like I said before. We don't have other options." Jamey replied. "Can we go back a sec. You think that glasses wearing dweeb is more powerful than me." Hulk interrupted. "Let's get to work." Jamey replied.
Retroville, 14:32
The N-Men were desperately trying to protect the city from the Greenzillas attack. Sheen was moving hundreds of people at a time from one building to the next. "This is insane!" Sheen panted. "I know." Sid agreed, landing while holding a group of people. "Why don't we try to throw them into space?" Sheen asked. "I can't hold onto those things long enough and Libby can't make a bubble that big." Sid explained. "Great." Sheen replied sarcastically. "What do we do then? Hop from building to building hoping for the best!?" Sid started to shake his head. "I don't know Sheen." Sid replied. Suddenly Sheen's phone began to buzz. Sheen pulled his phone out of one of his suits holsters. "You're not going to take that, are you?" Sid asked. "Anyone who would call me in a situation like this must have a good reason." Sheen replied. He answered his phone. "Hello."
"Sheen this is Jamey." Jamey said, almost cutting Sheen off. "Jamey!" Sheen said, shocked, which caught Sid's interest. "I need you to bring Carl to a penthouse in Manhattan. I'll text you the details." Sid was trying to hear the conversation. "What about Sid and Libby?" Sheen asked. "I send them a different set of coordinates." Sid was starting to lose his patience. "To where?" Sheen asked. "To take down Flora and her Green Fist pose." Sid was about to ask Sheen if he could hand the phone over so he could talk to Jamey when Sheen ended the conversation and hung up the phone. "Got it." Before Sheen could say anything Sid assaulted him with questions. "Was that Jamey? Where is she? How is she?" Sid questioned not really giving Sheen a chance to answer. "No time for that. Jamey's about to send you some coordinates. You need to take Libby and go to them."
"Where are you going?" Sid asked. "To meet Jamey so he could use that big brain of his to get us out of this mess." Sheen replied. "Why can't I take Carl while you go with Libby?" Sid asked frustratedly. "Sid I know you want to see Jamey but she asked for me and Carl specifically. We need to follow her plan." Sheen explained. "Okay. But what about the people?" He asked. "We won't really help them if we stay here. If we take down the people behind this we will be helping them more." Sheen explained. "Okay. I understand. Just tell Nerdtron I said hello." Sid replied. "Sure will." Sheen replied before racing to Carl. He quickly picked the teen up and raced off. "Where are we going!" Carl shouted. "I'll explain on the way." Sheen replied. "What was that about?" Libby asked. "I'll explain on the way." Sid answered.
New York, Brett's Penthouse, 14:40
Sheen raced through the apartment building's doors with Carl and went straight for the penthouse. "Are you okay?" Sheen asked Carl when he dropped him. "No." Carl replied before running to a potted planet and vomiting into it. Sheen patted Carl on the back before he knocked on the door. To his surprise Hulk answered the door. "Get in." Hulk growled. "Jamey!?" Sheen said confused as he and Carl walked into the penthouse. "Not quite." Jamey explained as she walked into the room with Brett. "I'm confused." Carl commented as Jamey went to hug him. "I've had my own adventures while I was away but no time for that. We have a lot to do and not a lot of time to do it. Sheen I need you to get me a sample from one of the Greenzilla's."
"Got it!" Sheen replied racing out of the building, within a few seconds Sheen returned holding a vine. "Alright. Follow me to the lab." Jamey replied walking away with Sheen following her. "I'm Brett by the way." Brett said to Carl. "Carl Wheezer. Nice to meet you." Carl greeted back. "Hulk." Hulk commented. "I know. You kinda broke my arms." Carl replied. "Sorry about that. Wasn't in my right mind." Hulk replied. "It's okay." Carl replied. "As you can see. I'm fine." Brett looked between the two nervously. "This is awkward." Brett said tight lipped.
New Jersey, Lumber Mill, 14:54
Sid and Libby were standing on the roof of a Lumber Mill. "You know I kinda find it ironic that a group like the Green Fist's base of operation is a Lumber Yard." Libby commented. "Hiding in plain sight never fails." Sid commented. Sid squinted his eyes. He began to see through the roof of the building, then the floor seeing the Green Fist's base. "They're underground." Sid commented. "How do you know?" Libby asked. "X-Ray vision." Sid replied. "Since when do you have X-Ray vision?" Libby asked. "Discovered it about three days ago by accident when Nick and her friends were playing basketball. So… That was a good day." Sid smiled. "How do you want to do this? Sneak in or guns blazing?" Libby asked. "Considering we're operating on a strict deadline. Let's bust in and bust some heads." Sid replied. "Okay then." Libby agreed. "After you."
"Thanks." Sid replied. Sid flew up and began to spin at incredible speeds, she flew through the roof and hit the ground acting as a drill. He broke through the floor and began attacking the base. The Green Fist soldiers instantly began firing at who was barely fazed by the bullets. "Hey Special Guy!" Libby shouted before throwing multiple force field disks that disarmed the soldiers. "There are monsters destroying everything right now. We don't have time for the I'm invincible you can't hurt me stuff." Sid just looked a little hurt by her. "Agh fine. You're taking the fun out of this." Sid groaned before thunder clapping all the soldiers away. In her throne room Flora heard the commotion. "What was that?" She asked Mystique. "We may have a problem." Mystique replied. At that moment Sid and Libby burst through the doors. "You better surrender because we're taking you down!" Sid declared. "Surrender. Hmm… let me think about it. Nah." Flora replied before extending her arm creating several large vines, sending them towards the teen heroes. Libby erected a force field dome around the two to protect them. "Which one do you want?" Sid asked. "I'll take the plant lady." Libby replied. "Cool, I wanted a rematch with the blue lady anyway." Sid replied. Libby released her force field, Sid flew out and tackled Mystique through a wall. Libby formed force field disks and walked towards Flora. "So what's your deal anyway!" Libby shouted. "Human beings are the greatest threat this planet has ever faced. They destroy and pollute." Flora explained launching multiple vines at Libby who then formed force field disks. "I would be inclined to agree with you if you weren't a homicidal maniac!" Libby shouted, throwing her disks slicing the vines into pieces. Flora got extremely agitated, she slammed the ground and unleashed more vines that wrapped around Libby.
Libby created a force field bubble to free herself, she then created a force field whip that tied Flora up, Libby pulled the rope dragging Flora towards her she formed a force field gauntlet around her right hand and punched Flora with enough force to send her crashing into a wall knocking her out. Sid had just tackled Mystique through a wall. "Jeez Sid lighten up. It's like you were trying to hurt me." Mystique groaned getting up. Sid was shocked by what Mystique had said. "How do you know my name?" Sid asked. "Why wouldn't I know your name? We are basically family." Mystique replied. "What are you talking about?" Sid asked. "You don't know what I'm talking about. Figures Dad does love his secrets." Mystique said nonchalantly. Sid rushed at Mystique in anger and slammed him against a wall. "You're lying to me. You're just trying to get in my head." Mystique laughed while holding her ribs. "You poor boy. You honestly don't know what's going on. I petty you. I would like to take the time to explain to you but I have to go." Mystique replied. "You're not going anywhere!" Sid declared. "You wanna bet." Mystique smiled, kicking Sid back. At that moment Max Savage's henchman teleported them both away. Sid began to think about what Mystique said to him.
New York
Jamey, Hulk, Brett, Carl, and Sheen were hard at work building a machine to save the country. "Have you found the frequency?" Brett asked. "Yes." Jamey answered. "How do you plan on sending the frequency so far and wide." Carl asked. "With this machine. I've hacked well… everything." Jamey replied. "Everything?" Sheen questioned. "Well everything I could. We're going to project the frequency from every car stereo, phone and well anything I could find with a microphone or speaker. And hopefully it will work." Jamey explained. "Hopefully?" Hulk commented. "Well this was kinda a rush job and I didn't have time to run very many calculations so please bear with me." Jamey sharply replied looking at Hulk, walking to Carl. "Okay, Carl you have the frequency right?" He nodded to his sister feeling anxious about the whole situation but overall just glad to see her again. "Ya." Carl answered. "Okay, what I need you to do is project the sound at this microphone."
"Then what?" Carl asked. "We hope for the best." Jamey replied. "That's not confidence inspiring Jay." Sheen replied. "I'm sorry if I'm not a hundred percent positive that the tech we whipped together in fifteen minutes will work." Jamey replied. The group felt the ground tremble. "Moment of truth Jamey." Brett commented. "Okay here goes nothing. Now Carl!" Carl did what he was told and projected the very specific sound frequency at the microphone. All over the country through various devices the sound began to emanate. The monsters ceased their destructive rampage and began to screech in pain.
Green Fist Base
Sid met up with Libby who had Flora trapped in a force field. "You took your sweet time. Where's the other one?" Libby asked. "She got away." Sid replied. "How?" Libby asked. "Some mutant teleported her away." Sid replied. "We'll have to deal with her later." Libby replied. "Okay Flora. Your cronies have abandoned you. It's over. Tell us how to stop you monsters." The crazy lady could only laugh. "I won't tell you anything. It doesn't matter that those half wits are left or that you've captured me. Look at the monitors." Sid and Libby looked at Flora's monitors and saw the mayhem they were causing. "My Greenzilla's are going to destroy everything. It doesn't matter what happens to me, because I've won." At that moment Jamey's plan came to fruition. The Greenzilla's began to screech in pain before exploding into goo. "What!? No!? Impossible!?" Flora shouted hysterically. "How could this have happened!?"
"Two words. Jamey Neutron." Sid smirked, but his face slightly changed when he thought about what Mystique said.
New York
"I can't believe that worked." Jamey said, shocked. "Well it did. You saved the world again." Sheen commented. "No Sheen. We saved the world. None of this would have been possible if it wasn't for all of you." A little while later Jamey, Sheen, Carl, Brett, and Hulk were preparing to say goodbye. "Are you sure you can't come back?" Sheen asked. "Not until I expose Savage." Jamey replied. "Who's Savage? We keep hearing that name but haven't found much." Carl asked. "I'll explain on the run home." Sheen replied. "Have you found anything?" Sheen asked as he turned to Jamey. "Unfortunately no. Savage is really good at hiding his tracks." Jamey replied. "Maybe you should look at it from a different angle. Instead of trying to hack Savage, maybe you should hack General Vortex." Sheen replied. "What!?" Carl said shocked. "Like I said Carl. I'll explain later." Sheen replied. "Maybe you're right." Jamey said, pulling out her tablet. "Vortex is bound to have his phone on him. And hopefully the towers aren't destroyed and I'm in." Jamey said, surprised. "You are really impressive today girl." Sheen commented. "In a couple of hours. I'll have everything." Jamey said excitedly.

Max had teleported Mystique to their base. "I can't believe you got so reckless!" Mystique transformed back to Martha.
"What I was just informing our brother about the family business." Martha replied. "You know he's not ready for the truth." Max shouted. "Remember what happened the last time one of our siblings found out early. All hell broke loose and it nearly jeopardized our father's plans." Martha huffed. "Relax. Dad has only failed to convince one of his children once. This Sid guy, despite his rough exterior, loves his father. He will not resist." Martha replied. "You better hope so or else…" Max prepared to threaten her. "Or else what!" Martha shouted, extending her claws. "Stop!" Savage shouted as he walked into the room. "Master." They all called out as they bowed. "Max's right B. You shouldn't have told Sid anything. But you are right, that we need to bring him into the fold. Tomorrow I will begin molding him."
"As you wish." Max replied. At that moment alarms began sounding off. "What's going on!?" Savage asked. Martha checked her tablet. "This can't be happening!" Everyone turned to Martha confused. "What?" Max asked. "Someone has infiltrated our files. They're taking everything!" This was not what anyone wanted to hear. "What!?" Savage shouted. "Can you stop it!?" Max asked. "I'm trying but I can't." Martha replied. "Who could be doing this?" Max asked. Savage instantly knew. "Neutron!" Their father shouted. "Shut everything down!" Max ordered. "It's no use. She got everything." Martha said, saddened. Savage picked up a chair and threw it at a wall. "SON OF A BITCH!" He screamed. "What does that mean for us now?" Martha asked. "We have to accelerate our time table. Max get the .L.O.S.E.R.S. and hand them Neutron's contingency files." Martha went right to work. "What about Sid?" Max asked. "Unfortunately he must be involved. We need Neutron to come to us before she decrypts our files and realizes our plans." Savage replied. "If Jamey wants a war. I'll give her one."
50,000 years ago a meteorite fell from space and crashed into the earth. The residents of the area ran in fear from the meteorite, all except one. A lone caveman walked into the crater and layed next to the meteorite for warmth.
Present Day, Unknown Location
"Master, Master." Max called out. Savage awoke from his daydreaming. "What is it?" Savage asked. "You looked lost in thought. I was wondering if you were okay?" Max replied. "I'm fine." Savage replied. "How far has Martha come to decrypting Jamey's files?" He asked. "I am very close fa… I mean Master." Martha replied. "Close isn't good enough. Jamey has all our files. If he cracks our codes before we crack his. Everything that I've spent the last 3000 years trying to accomplish will be for nothing." Savage shouted.
Candy Bar
After the battle with the Greenzilla's and the Green Fist the team met up to enjoy some victory sundaes. "I am so glad this place wasn't destroyed by those plant monsters." Carl said eating a big spoon full of ice cream. "I'm glad that Sam doesn't close his restaurant for anything." Sheen added. "So how was our girl genius?" Libby asked. "She's fine." Sheen replied. "Better than fine." Carl added. "She's separated herself from Hulk." Libby sputtered on her drink. "What!?" Libby said shocked. "Who's Hulk?" She asked. "Hulk's that monster Jamey transformed into. Apparently after doing some kind of experiment they separated. Now Hulk's her own person." Carl explained. "Whoa! Wish I could've met her." Libby commented. "Hey Sid. What's wrong?" Noticing how distraught Sid was. "It's nothing really. When I fought that mutant with the claws, she claimed to be my sister." Sid explained. "She must have been lying." Libby replied. "That's what I thought too. At first. But the way she spoke to me didn't sound like she was lying. Plus she even knew my name." Carl and Sheen looked at each other.
Flashback
Sheen and Carl were saying their goodbyes to Jamey, Brett, and Hulk. "Jamey before we go I was wondering. Maybe we should let Libby and Sid in on the Savage thing." Sheen commented. "I would Sheen, I really would. I really, really do want to. But right now, I don't think I can trust Sid." Jamey replied. "Why?" Carl asked. "Savage for all intents and purposes is Sid's father. As much as I would like to have the whole team on this, I'm not sure where his allegiance is." Jamey explained. "Jamey, he's our friend. You know you can trust him." Carl argued. "I trust him with my life, Carl. But I have to take into consideration when the chips are down, who will he side with." Jamey debated. Carl and Sheen may not have liked what Jamey had said but they did understand where she came from. They looked at each other and nodded. "We understand." Sheen stated.
Flashback ends.
"Come on Sid. Your Dad's like 40. And that mutant chick looks at least like she's in her early thirties. So unless your Dad had her when he was ten, there's no way she could be telling the truth." Sheen lied. "Ya I guess you're right." Sid agreed. Carl and Sheen gave each other a guilty look.
8 Days Later, Unknown Location
Martha was still hard at work trying to decrypt Jamey's files. "Are you any closer?" Max asked. "These are the toughest security protocols I have ever faced. Every time I think I'm getting somewhere a new firewall pops up." Martha explained. "Well you better put your pedal to the medal, because Savage is becoming inpatient." Max commented. "I know. I know. Telling me doesn't… I'm in!" Martha said excitedly. "Finally. I will call Savage at once." Max said, pulling out his phone. "There is no need for that." Savage said as he walked into the room. "I am pleased that you were able to decrypt Neutron's files. We must prepare immediately. I want each of you to team up with the losers, to lead coordinated assaults on each of the N-Men." Savage explained. "Why do we need to be involved? Isn't that why we have those underlings." Max questioned. Savage walked up to Max and grabbed him by his neck. "I will not be questioned by you child. I have waited thousands of years to get where I am today. You will do as I say without question. Do you understand me!" Max remained silent. "I said." He said, tightening his grip. "Do you understand me!" The boy nodded frantically. "Y-Yes." Max replied, gasping for air. Savage released him and threw him to the ground. "If we're done here. Get to work!" Savage walked away. The siblings looked at each other in concern.
So today I've had time to hopefully get a few chapters out enjoy.
