Chapter 27: Zombie

At the Kingdom of Zoravia, the Royal Family watched a movie about zombies. They weren't necessarily thrilled about the idea but it was about promoting the local culture. "I've watched better movies." Natasha commented.

"Not every movie maker can be a Sergei Anniskov, Natasha." Oleg replied.

"You're absolutely right, Oleg." Natasha replied, secretly happy for that. As much as she hated the low quality of the movie she'd just watched, at least it didn't bore her into sleep. After Natasha and Oleg exchanged goodbyes, she and her parents returned to the Turquoise Palace, where she called it a night and went to sleep.

The next day, she was suddenly woken up by a maid. "Your Highness, King Carl demands your presence at the throne room!" The maid sounded desperate. "It's an emergency!"

Without stopping to think, Natasha changed into her Princess dress and went to the throne room to meet her father. "Did you want to see me, Dad?" Natasha asked.

"Natasha, Amity Park has been invaded by a horde of zombies!" King Carl quickly said.

"Is Danny okay?" Natasha asked. "Does he have enough Fenton Thermoses to capture all zombies?"

"Ghosts are spirits and zombies are bodies, Natasha." Her father explained. "Ghosts can be placed into a Fenton Thermos. Zombies cannot."

"I must do something!" Natasha shouted.

"Oleg developed a serum that will turn the zombies back into normal humans." King Carl said as he handed over a dart gun. "Each dart can cure one of them. Use them well."

"Yes, Dad." Natasha replied. She then took a plane to Amity Park. There, she saw a zombified Dash Baxter about to bit Danny's sister Jazz and hit him with a dart, curing him. "I'm cured!" Dash exclaimed in joy and ran away.

"Are you okay, Jazz?" Natasha asked.

"Yes but I'm worried about my brother, Natasha." Jazz answered. "We ran in different directions as I started running away from Zombie Dash."

"Where were you?" Natasha asked.

"Fighting Skulker near Casper High." Jazz answered. "It seems he forgot my brother and I already graduated."

"Then let's go there!" Natasha exclaimed as she activated a jet pack and flew away with Jazz.

"A little forewarning would have been nice." Jazz commented with a frown.

"Did you really think there was time?" Natasha asked in reply.

"Point." Jazz conceded.

The two girls then flew towards Casper High. "Danny!" Jazz screamed as she saw her brother freezing some zombies.

"Jazz! Natasha!" Danny shouted. "Go away! I don't know how long they'll stay frozen!"

"I have a serum." Natasha replied and, one by one, cured the frozen zombies.

"Good work, Natasha." Danny complimented his girlfriend. "How much do you still have of the serum?"

"Enough to cure two more people, Danny." Natasha answered.

"I'm afraid we'll need way more than that." Danny commented.

"Oleg's working on it as we speak." Natasha reassured her boyfriend.

"While we wait, may I make a psychological analysis on what's like having been a zombie?" Jazz asked the detransformed ones.

"I'd rather be turned into a zombie again." One of them said and the others nodded.

Natasha's boofer phone then rang. "Oleg?"

"Natasha, I have devised a way to make the serum work through air." Oleg said. "In a few hours, all of Amity Park will be free of zombies."

"Not if I have anything to say about it." A new zombie said and Natasha was really scared upon recognizing him. "Lubek!"

"Lubek?" Jazz asked. "Do you mean your evil Uncle who was the very same reason your father sent you here in the first place?"

"Yeah." Natasha answered.

"Wait a minute!" Lubek said. "Uncle? Father? That would mean you're Natasha! But it cannot be! My followers were keeping her captive while you fought her robot duplicate!"

"You abducted a decoy, Lubek." Natasha explained, not caring that Lubek now knew her identity.

"And how can you remain sapient while being a zombie?" Jazz asked.

"Because I am the main zombie, foolish woman." Lubek replied.

"Not anymore." Danny replied while taking advantage of Lubek's distraction to inject the serum, turning him back into a human. "Back to prison for you, Lubek!"

"Not so fast, Danny Phantom." Lubek maliciously said and then, to everyone's surprise and horror, became a zombie again.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Jazz shouted in terror. "Will this nightmare never end?"

"You vill never wake up." Lubek said in triumph.

"You're even crazier than Vlad." Danny commented.

"But way more dangerous." Lubek replied.

"No arguing there." Natasha said.

"So, dear niece, how about you help me overthrowing your father?" Lubek proposed. "I still need an heir and never had kids of my own."

"Never!" Natasha angrily shouted. "Is that how you felt whenever the fruitloop wanted you to be his son?"

"Yes, Natasha." Danny answered.

A boofer phone was heard but this time it wasn't Natasha's. "Gelo?" Lubek asked.

"Great One, it is my pleasure to report that my brother and his antidote have been intercepted." Gelo proudly declared.

"Congratulations." Lubek replied.

"It can't be!" Danny was horrified. "It must be some nightmare!"

"There's only one way to find out." Natasha replied, deciding she's got no better idea. She pinched herself... and woke up. Looking around, she found herself back inside her bedroom at the Turquoise Palace. "Phew, it was just a dream." She commented and resumed her sleep.

The next day, as the Royal Family of Zoravia was having breakfast together, King Carl and Queen Lena couldn't help but notice their daughter wasn't feeling well. "Natasha, what's wrong?" Queen Lena asked.

"Nothing, Mom." Natasha answered. "I just had a nightmare."

"About zombies, I presume, considering the movie we watched yesterday." King Carl presumed.

"Yes, Dad." Natasha answered.

"Natasha, you do not believe zombies exist, do you?" Her father asked.

"Father, don't you remember the days when we were just as skeptical about ghosts?" Natasha asked in reply and her parents nodded.

"I understand your point, Natasha." King Carl stated. "However, I still shall not believe zombies are real until I actually see one. Now finish your breakfast. We have a full day ahead of us."

"Yes, Dad." Natasha replied.

Author's Note: When I started writing this fic, I never thought I'd use that dream thing or that I'd have Lubek appear after being captured.

Answer to Leonardo (Guest): Sei que existe um jogo mas não o conheço bem o bastante para adaptá-lo. E não vi Glitch in Time.
