A.N. Hey readers, Blue Tagg here with the twenty-seventh chapter. Here, our heroes take on a possible Kraang attack at a lab. How will it go?

Enjoy and review.

Dusk had fallen in Tundratown, and authorities surrounded the old science lab.

"How're we looking?" Nigel asked into his earpiece.

"No sign of the Kraang in there," Benny's voice was heard. Benny had sent a spy drone to scout ahead.

"They could be hiding," Nigel theorised. "You turtles ready?"

"You know it," Raph said as he and his brothers approached, sporting their new ninja suits.

"I don't want to say 'people, check us out', but people, check us out," Mikey said as he admired the suits.

"Yeah, love the breathing and flexibility," Donnie admired.

"All right guys, admire yourselves later," Leo told his brothers.

"Guys, something's taken two drones offline," Benny reported.

"It's gotta be the Kraang," Donnie theorised.

"All right, we're going on my signal," Nigel ordered. The Ninjas and Agents got into position, ready to barge. "Now!"

The Ninjas and agents all entered the building, ready to attack whatever was in there.

"Search around," Nigel ordered.

Everyone looked around but found nothing.

"Are we sure the Kraang came here?" Raph said impatiently.

"Yes, the readings said the Kraang teleported to this location," Donnie assured. Then he noticed the remnants of Benny's spy drones on the ground, and it looked like they were blasted by lasers. "And I'm pretty sure these drones didn't blast themselves."

"Are we too late?" Mikey asked.

"Actually, you're just in time," a voice called out, which surprised the team.

Just then, one of the drones approached one end of an upper corner, only to be hit by something and crash to the ground. The group looked at it, confirming they were not alone.

Ryak-Soldiers, along with Sensei Yasoi, appeared out of nowhere, as he was twirling a blaster in his paw as he blew off the smoke from the blast and then holstered it.

"Greetings," Yasoi welcomed his foes as he removed his hood.

The Ryak Clan!" Nigel said as the heroes got ready to fight.

"Yes," Yasoi confirmed. "I am Yasoi, but you may have heard of me as, 'The Sensei'."

That caused the heroes to gasp as they remembered hearing about 'The Sensei'.

"So you're the Ryak Clan's 'Sensei'," Nigel summarised.

"Indeed, and you're Agent Nigel Werrel," Yasoi answered. "I've heard much about you. I'm afraid you've come too close to us many times."

"You mean too close to foiling you?" Leo rhetorically asked.

"The Ninja Turtles, heard much of you, and I must say, I've yet to see what the fuss was about," Yasoi admitted, which angered the turtles.

"Well, I'm more than happy to show when I rip off your other ear! Raph said in anger, looking ready to attack, but Leo stopped him.

"Quite the temper, young turtle," Yasoi pointed out.

"Where're the Kraang?" Leo demanded.

"I'm afraid they're not part of this fight, we just used their portal tech," Yasoi explained.

"I'm gonna give you one chance, surrender now, or we'll bring you in by force," Nigel demanded.

"I'd rather go down fighting," Yasoi declared. "Soldiers, advance!"

The Ryak Soldiers drew their weapons and attacked the heroes.

"TAKE THEM DOWN!" Leo ordered, as the heroes engaged.

Raph dodged the blasts of one Soldier with a gun, but he went close enough to knock it out of their hands and spin-kicked them away.

Donnie was once again twirling his staff and fighting another soldier who wielded a staff.

Mikey was jumping all around, dodging the laser blasts.

"Can't get me... right here... you miss!" Mikey mocked the soldiers as he knocked them out.

Nigel was using his blaster to blast the Ryak Soldiers, but it wasn't doing much, thanks to their suits.

Benny was controlling the drones to attack the soldiers.

As Leo fought the soldiers, he saw Yasoi just standing there, using his blaster to shoot at the heroes, so Leo threw a ninja star at the wolf to disarm him, but Yasoi used the gun to block it. Leo approached Yasoi with his katana in hand.

"I hear you're the head of the Hamato Clan," Yasoi pointed out as he removed the shuriken and holstered his blaster. "Young for a clan leader."

"I may be young, but I led my brothers to many victories, and I'm not stopping now," Leo declared.

"Let's see how good you are," Yasoi said as he drew his katana.

Both Leo and Yasoi stood there, with their swords in hand, waiting for the other to make a move, when Leo charged towards him, and they began to sword clash, with Leo attacking and Yasoi defending.

"You fight well, for a young one," Yasoi complimented as he continued to defend.

"What are the Kraang and Shredder planning!?" Leo demanded as they clashed.

"I'm afraid I'm just as much in the dark as you are," Yasoi admitted. "But that doesn't matter, you won't be able to stop us."

"We will stop you, just like we did with the Kraang and their allies before!" Leo declared as they began to push each other with their swords.

"Insolent child," Yasoi declared as they both continued to push until Yasoi grabbed a tanto blade from his belt and slashed at Leo.

Leo pulled back to avoid the blade and pulled out his other blade. The wolf and turtle continued to clash.

"Give it up, I am a sensei, you are a mere student who was promoted too quickly," Yasoi declared.

"Never," Leo answered as he pushed the wolf away, which caused Yasoi to be secretly impressed.

Benny was controlling the drones from the van, when one of the drones noticed a single green-eyed soldier away from the action, standing in front of a server. Benny then saw a flash drive inserted in a socket in the server.

Benny realised what they were doing as he spoke into the coms.

"Guys..."

"…that soldier just downloaded something from the lab's mainframe!" Leving warned everyone.

The heroes turned to see the soldier pull out the flash drive from the socket.

"Oh no you don't!" Donnie declared as he rushed towards the soldier.

"Pass it now!" Yasoi ordered.

The soldier then threw it up in the air, right before they were taken down by Donnie, who then knocked him off. The gang looked up to see three zebras standing there.

The first zebra was wearing a light blue dress shirt, black slacks and a black blazer. The second zebra had a more prominent mane than the other, which was dyed purple. He wore a black T-shirt, jeans and a brown leather jacket, and had a piercing on his snout. The third one wore a white T-shirt and black trousers and had a very short mane.

"Move it!" the smartly dressed zebra ordered as he ran towards the window, with the other two following.

"Soldiers, taikyaku!" Yasoi ordered. He then turned to Leo as he walked backwards to a pile of steam. "We will meet again, young master." Yasoi then disappeared into the steam.

The soldiers activated the camouflage mode on their suits, and one by one, began to disappear, but Raph was quick to grab one and pin them to the ground.

The zebras made their way towards an open window and reached for a rope ladder attached to a helicopter.

"Come on!" the smartly dressed zebra ordered the other two. The zebras climbed up the ladder.

Mikey got close and just when the helicopter was leaving, Mikey jumped up and grabbed onto the short-maned zebra, holding onto him by the waist as the helicopter flew off.

"Mikey!" the turtles said in concern as their little brother was being carried off.

"You're not getting away from us, dude," Mikey declared.

"Come on, man, just let us have this," the short-maned Zebra asked.

The smartly dressed Zebra on top pulled out a mini rocket blaster and aimed it at the turtle.

"This flight is one turtle too many," the zebra said as he aimed.

Mikey shut his eyes as he braced himself for the blast, but the helicopter jerked a bit, causing the zebra to lose his aim and fire in a different direction.

In one part of Tundratown, a brown-furred bunny, wearing a brown coat over blue overalls was pulling a wagon of cabbages, with a sign that said 'Terry Hopps' Fresh Cabbages'.

"Ah, a business opportunity in the city," the bunny, known as Terry Hopps, said as he settled his stand. "Gotta thank my wonderful niece Judy for giving me the courage to sell my cabbages here in Zootopia. This is gonna be a great experience."

But right after he said that the wayward blast from the Zebra's blaster made its way over to Terry's location, and destroyed some of the cabbages on the stand, much to Terry's shock.

"MY CABBAGES!"

Mikey continued to hold on.

"You have the right to remain silent!" Mikey said as he tried to pull himself up.

"But, you don't look like a cop," the short-maned zebra pointed out.

"Well, I'm working with them, dude," Mikey explained.

Just then, the zebra's pants began to come loose, which caused Mikey to worry.

"Oh, sewer apples," Mikey said.

The zebra's pants then fell off, causing Mikey to drop down. Luckily for him, he landed on a pile of snow, cushioning his land.

"Gotta love the snow," Mikey said in relief.

Just then his brothers and the others ran up towards him.

"Mikey, are you okay?" Leo asked in worry.

"All's good dudes," Mikey reassured them. "Though I couldn't get them. All I could get were these." He points to the pants.

"We're just glad you're all right," Nigel pointed out.

Donnie then noticed something sticking out of the pocket, so he reached in and pulled out the thumb drive.

"Mikey, you got the information they stole," Donnie praised his little brother.

"Like a turtle do," Mikey boasted.

Mikey then noticed something in the pants, so he reached in and pulled out a pair of smiley-faced underpants.

"It's cold up here," the gang heard the zebra say in the distance, as they looked up and immediately looked away.

"Well, despite most of the soldiers and Yasoi getting away, we got the information they were looking for," Nigel praised. "And..." He then pointed to two agents, who were both holding a Ryak-Soldier in their grips. "We got one of them."

Leo then approached the tall soldier, and then removed his mask, revealing to be a ginger-furred stallion.

"Not so tough without your master, huh?" Leo taunted the incapacitated stallion.

"I may be captured, but that doesn't mean the plan is foiled. We will..." the horse stated.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, we get it," Nigel interrupted. "Get him to base, prep him for interrogation."

As the stallion was being dragged away, Nigel had a look on his face, which Leo noticed.

"You okay, Nigel?" Leo asked the British leopard.

"Fine, Leo. It's just, there's something familiar about that stallion, I feel like I've seen his face before," Nigel admitted.

At the Ryak Lair, Shredder sat on his throne with Nesto standing by his side. The big monitor was brought down, which showed Yasoi giving his Master an update.

"We managed to get what we needed, but one of our own was captured," Yasoi reported.

"Was it one of our green-eyed operatives?" Shredder asked. Yasoi had a look of instant regret and anger.

"Yes, master," Yasoi said in hatred.

"Then we'll follow protocol," Shredder said.

"Master, you know I hate our green-eyed operatives," Yasoi admitted.

"I know, but it's important if they are to be part of the New World," Shredder pointed out. "Return to base, we'll take it from here."

Yasoi had a look of disappointment before the monitor turned off.

Shredder then pressed a button on the arm of the throne, which turned on the monitor again, this time showing a lioness wearing a black dress and white lab coat with the clan's symbol stitched on the side.

"Dr Teal," Shredder greeted the lioness.

"Master, are you ready for me to begin on Tasmin?" Dr Teal asked.

"Not yet. It seems one of our Soldiers has been captured," Shredder informed her. "You know what to do."

"Sure thing," Dr Teal said in delight before the monitor turned off.

Shredder then turned Nestko.

"Once Dr Teal gives us a location, you will lead a squad and extract him," Shredder ordered. "But this time, don't bring anyone else here, just the operative."

"Understood, my lord," Nestko said, preparing for her mission.

A.N. And that was the Twenty-Seventh chapter folks, and our Heroes have faced the Ryak Clan. They managed to capture one of them, but it seems Shredder is a few steps ahead.

Also, I'm sure you guys noticed the Kenan and Kel reference. And the Avatar: The Last Airbender reference.

Next time, the gang learn more about the stallion, but will it be good enough?

Byyyeeee.
