'So are we not going to talk about Tsu-chan and you?!'

Katsuki paused his movements for a second upon hearing that, which was enough leverage for that shithead, Eijiro, to charge and knock him into the ground while enthusiastically yelling, 'GOTCHA!'

Like hell, you do! Mentally snapped the new Number One Hero and didn't allow the other man his victory for even a damn second longer.

He knocked the distracted redhead off him with a well-measured explosion, ready to get back into action, until he noticed Eijiro stopped using his quirk altogether.

'Alright, alright! I admit that was a cheap trick,' said the other hero, kneeling on the ground next to him before he lifted his palms up and gave him an apologetic smile, 'But can we please talk about this?' he asked, looking very much like a desperate puppy. Not that it ever worked on Katsuki, but the ash-blond had to admit his sparring partner possessed an ability to push Katsuki over his firmly set boundaries and decisions at times with his fucking cheerful attitude in a positive way. Although the new Number One Hero would disagree. How the redhead managed to get under his skin and on his good side was a mystery. They started out as strangers, just like the rest of his former 1-A class. Before he knew it, he was meeting the idiot for lunch and study sessions and genuinely texting him back or commenting on his poorly crafted attempts at joking.

Fucking witchcraft, thought the ash-blond, far less upset about it than he was fifteen years ago when it started.

'Please, Baku-bro, I've been dying to ask all day.'

Katsuki glared at him but eased his fighting stance as well. If he wanted to or not (NOT! Always fucking NOT!), he had to admit, Eijiro did a pretty decent job at restraining himself from asking about him and Tsuyu since he showed up for their sparring season.

If he was fucking honest with himself, Katsuki was all but ready to cancel this week, more tempted than ever really since the redhead himself had done so twice before due to his new girlfriend who was taking up most of his time apart from his own hero work nowadays.

The New Number One Hero dreaded encountering anyone who wasn't pissing their pants from him like the employees from his agency. He wasn't a coward. Fuck no! But he would much rather never speak to anyone about everything that was going on in his life right now, with the only exception being Tsuyu.

The ash-blond suspected his best friend (willing or not) was only suddenly interested in sparring today because of the bomb that was dropped two days ago about him and Tsuyu…

about him and Tsuyu….

him and Tsuyu…

dating

Shit, I can barely think about it, let alone talk about it, he thought and mentally cursed himself that he ever agreed to that bullshit in the first place. He caught himself more often than once snatching his phone over the course of the last two days, ready to call it quits on the whole fucking charade, only to land with his eyes on his phone background with Tsuyu holding Deku's kid and changing his mind all over again.

Fuck me!

'Not interested,' he said to Eijiro. He got up from the ground, but the redhead put his palms together and lowered his head like he was praying to a deity, 'Please, Baku-bro! I just want to know some things. I just want to talk,' clarified the other hero, 'You never really dated anyone, and it's Tsu-chan.'

Katsuki paused in his steps for a moment.

What the fuck is he on about?

Katsuki dated around…well, maybe not fucking holding hands, public kisses and furniture shopping dated or whatever the fuck couples did. Still, he had his fair share of partners.

Then again, he couldn't remember if he and those women ever talked about genuine dating, relationships, or hookups.

He was a bit surprised when he realized he probably never met up for drinks or food with any of those women, especially when no sex was involved. If they did eat, it was because they met somewhere with food before they took their business elsewhere.

The knowledge left a bitter taste in his mouth. Still, he pushed it aside to listen to Eijiro, who continued talking.

'It doesn't have to be anything major or intimate. I would never…you know - disrespect you or Tsu-chan,' said the redhead and genuinely looked a bit embarrassed he brought it up, which was good because the last fucking thing Katsuki was interested in was disgusting anything intimate about him and the dark-eyed sea-witch who fucking hexed him or whatever to go along with this bullshit charade to save his face and reputation.

Still, the longer Katsuki watched his friend, the more he felt the familiar effect of budging. The same way he had a couple of days ago with Tsuyu, except now, it didn't get him to stare at Eijiro's fucking mouth.

What the fuck even was that? He asked himself many times after that night in Tsuyu's kitchen since he couldn't remember the last time things got so intense unless sex was involved. Given his and Tsuyu's arrangement, there was no fucking way in bloody hell sex was involved, not that it would be otherwise. Tsuyu was…Tsuyu was…his friend…whatever-Why am I even thinking about this shit?!

'Whatever,' said Katsuki, doing his best to sound nonchalant, and started to walk to the side of his personal gym.

Eijiro eagerly ran after him, looking less like a respectful hero and more like a middle school girl excited to hear a juicy gossip, 'Well, firstly, it was pretty obvious something was going on between you two. You should have seen how overjoyed your mom was to talk with her when she saw Tsu-chan and realized she had come for you. Did you two talk about it?'

The ash-blond grabbed a water bottle from where he left it on the ground and started to busy himself by taking a long and angry sip.

Fuck, like, I don't fucking know!

His old hag bulldozered him after the press announcement about him becoming Number One Hero saying shit like, Oh, so nice, Tsu-chan came to support you. She's so pretty and polite. Can't imagine why she would waste her time with someone as rude as you, though. But you did stick up for her at the interview, didn't you? How did she know about this sooner than we did?

Katsuki finally finished drinking and wiped his mouth with his palm, 'Trust me, the old hag more than delivered on that front.'

Not to mention, she more than happily used Baku-chan every chance she got, annoying the living hell out of it. It was fine when Tsuyu used it. He was used to it by now, and if they weren't attempting their charade, he would happily be called just that by her. But, like hell, did he want other people to call him that. The one time Denki tried, Katsuki punched him into the gut so hard his then classmate couldn't breathe properly for a full minute.

Eijiro chuckled, 'No doubt. She was thrilled about her. Which is fair, Tsu-chan is awesome.'

This caused Katsuki to pause when he heard the other hero say that. He couldn't explain it, but perhaps because he often used the redhead as his social compass in high school on certain things he couldn't relate to on his own, it meant a lot to the ash-blond to hear him say he approved of him in something. It didn't happen often anymore since Katsuki would like to think he grew and became better at handling certain situations. But it was precisely because of the fact it happened again only now after such a long time, and something like a choice of his…partner (the word girlfriend still left a weird fishy taste in his mouth) that made him swell with pride as if he did a good job.

'She is,' he found himself agreeing. It wasn't hard since it was the truth. Asui Tsuyu was fantastic, even without everything she had done for him up until now.

'What do you want to know?' he asked, glancing at him.

Eijiro's entire face lightened up like a brat's would during opening presents time while he breathed out, 'Everything.'

'Die!' snapped Katsuki. Whatever benevolent and charitable mood he felt a moment ago was properly gone.

Katsuki started to get up, only for Eijiro to jump in front of him and put his hand close enough to touch his chest. Still, he did not actually do so since he knew the ash-blond didn't take kindly to touches when he was upset.

'Alright, alright! No need to be cranky. Just… when did it start?' asked Eijiro.

Katsuki crossed his arms and walked toward the locker room next to the gym. Even though it was two days now, his employees still shook in fear bowing to him in respect or running away whenever they saw him due to his outburst over their fuckup. Even when he returned the next day and told them to leave the story as it was, it was apparent he was still pissed at them. They were only protected from getting murdered or fired by Tsuyu's ability to calm him down.

They would deserve far worse, he thought, annoyed. Especially his publicist, who he still wasn't 100 % sure wasn't behind the 'accident.' The man claimed he really didn't know how the mistake happened, but Katsuki wasn't buying it. Not entirely, at least. His publicist was with him for a while now, and it was not like him to fuck up like this. It was not like him to not double-check something before it was posted, especially when it was something Katsuki made it clear was of a top priority, like keeping Tsuyu's image clean.

It was, overall, a suspicious situation. The person who posted the picture of them kissing and gave the agency's official statement claimed after the initial order to confirm the kiss but painted it as a simple mistake during a night away from their hero obligations, he came to his computer and found a note stuck to it claiming to change it into what was posted in the end that he and Tsuyu were an item.

However, when Katsuki went to bring hell down on him, the fucker couldn't find the note anywhere, even if he swore it had to be on his desk where he left it.

Before he posted the news, he called the publicist to clarify. Still, he was busy, so he only asked him in a short text message if he should apply the changes without mentioning he was fucking going to out a secret relationship like a moron.

His publicist claimed he only agreed because he ordered one of the assistants to pass on a note with a change that they should mention one of Tsuyu's latest rescue missions. After all, it would remind the public she was a genuinely good heroine and not someone who often went out, drank, and made up with friends, even if Katsuki knew it was no one's business if she did.

This whole image thing is such useless bullshit!

Katsuki wanted to be a hero to always win no matter who he was against. Tsuyu wanted to help people and the environment. Neither did this for the fame, and yet they had to play by its set rules or fucking lose their dreams.

What a load of crap.

The assistant who took the notes swore she left them on the keyboard and left to do her other things, but no matter how many people were tasked to look, no one found any of the mentioned notes.

This fact didn't thoroughly explain the situation, but it made something abundantly clear. Either someone was lying or knew of the notes or noticed them and decided to change them without the three mainly involved people's knowledge.

Neither of those options sounded legit to Katsuki, and he hated the fact that after building his agency from scratch and working with his employees for so long, someone from said people would betray him like this. Worst of all was the fact that he couldn't even trust any of the fuckers to investigate the shit since he honestly couldn't tell who could have done this.

Needless to say, working with the ash-blond was a fucking nightmare for everyone, even two days after the whole ordeal, and Katsuki didn't plan for it to get any better just yet.

Let them be afraid, he thought; at least they will think before pulling shit like that ever again.

Even now, he heard someone running away as he and Eijiro walked and then closed the door as quietly as imaginable. The worst part was he couldn't really talk about this with anyone, but Tsuyu since others might have been suspicious of why he was so damn angry if it was true. No one knew he and Tsuyu weren't actually an item. Therefore, no one would understand that this was an attempt at sabotage.

His employees were merely convinced he was pissed on the behavior that he and Tsuyu weren't ready to be public yet. He didn't bother to care enough to know whether they bought it or not. But the fact that Tsuyu came to his agency and stopped him from going apeshit on their asses underlined their assumptions that it was the truth. Even if still unsure about the whole ordeal, Katsuki was fine with that.

'A few months ago,' said Katsuki vaguely once he was sure they were alone.

After his agency's fuckup, and he and Tsuyu decided to give their fake thinga go, they agreed that the best way to play it would be to stick to them being private and circle around things they could keep track of without having to lie too much.

'After the interview?' asked Eijiro eagerly, and Katsuki shrugged his shoulders, 'Sure.'

'That's so cool,' said the redhead grinning and practically radiating with pure happiness that pissed the ash-blond a bit off, 'You know, my girl saw the show online that day, and she said there was like super chemistry going on between you two, and that you would make a cute couple. Guess she was, right, huh?'

'I guess,' mumbled the ash-blond before frowning. He didn't fucking understand how it was that everyone was constantly talking about shit like that. Ever since the fake news broke, everyone from random people on the internet to Katsuki's employees and co-workers were sending their congratulations and claiming they could tell something was there because of that interview.

They couldn't tell shit, lying pricks, he thought to himself before he glanced at Eijiro. Up until now, he thought Eijiro's new girlfriend was smart. He was definitely the smartest one; his friend had dated so far, but now he felt like he gave her too much credit.

What could they possibly see? There's fucking nothing there!

Until they met again in Deku's house, they hadn't even chatted since the interview, but everyone was acting like they were so fucking smart and could tell something was up. It was pissing the Number One Hero off.

'-we should go on a double date,' said the redhead, almost causing Katsuki to stumble on a flat ground, 'The fuck you say?' he asked since he sort of tuned the other man out for a moment. Obviously, it was a stupid mistake on Katsuki's part, too.

Eijiro nodded his head several times, 'Yeah! Wouldn't that be cool? You two are public now, so you don't have to be so secretive. And it would be so fun. Tsu-chan's awesome.'

Tsuyu was awesome. No doubt about it. And Katsuki was more than just tolerating Eijiro's new girlfriend, but like hell, they could double-date when he and Tsuyu were just…doing their fake thing.

Over my dead fucking body!

They got into the locker room and took a quick shower before changing.

Katsuki managed to avoid having to respond to the double date idea for the time being when a new message popped on his phone.

Froggy: I hope you didn't forget about the photoshoot.

Katsuki rolled his eyes.

No, I didn't forget the fucking photoshoot. How could I when everyone won't shut up about the fucking photoshoot? He texted back and waited about two and a half minutes before he received another message.

Froggy: No need to be so hostile. You forgot about it yesterday. She added a frog emoji just to be fucking cute and shit.

Already nagging me like a real deal would, he thought to himself, mentally tempted to tease her a bit just for that alone before he heard Eijiro suck in a deep breath, 'Holy shit! Bakubro, how did I never notice that smile?'

Katsuki's eyes widened upon hearing those words. He realized three things simultaneously, one more startling than the other. He really was smiling. It was because of Tsuyu, of all people. Eijiro was right there as a witness to it.

Fuck me!

'Whatever,' he grumped, sensing that any bits of the stress relief he achieved while sparring with the redhead were gone, and he was back to feeling like he was on thin ice that was ready to break. It wasn't just the fucking absurdity of it all, but the fact that if it somehow backfired, both his and Tsuyu's reputations would be fucked up for a lifetime. Most people weren't that bright, but there was no way he and Tsuyu could fool everyone, right? Maybe everyone was singing them odes or whatever over private pictures and shit. Once they saw them interact in front of an audience, they would surely tell Bakugou Katsuki and Asui Tsuyu were a couple in love and stuff.

He had many talents, but faking something that big wasn't one of them, and he knew without a single doubt neither was Tsuyu.

'You even have her as your wallpaper?! Dude, that's so-wait, is that NAGI-KUN?!' asked Eijiro excitedly, towering over Katsuki's phone as the ash-blond felt he was drifting from slightly panicked and stressed to annoyed over how the redhead was ruining his mood with every new thing he said.

What was the point of a sparing with Shitty Hair if he stressed me out more than I was before?

'They look so cute together,' the other hero cooed before his overly wide grin melted into a much softer and friendly smile that puzzled Katsuki as well as made him even more alert, knowing Eijiro was about to say something he wouldn't like to hear.

'They almost look like a mother and son, huh? With their complexions and all. Maybe one day she would hold your son like that.'

The ash-blond was pretty sure he had stopped breathing when he heard Eijiro say that. This was exactly why he didn't want anyone to see the stupid picture. Because everyone would take it the wrong way, and Eijiro certainly did.

Why the fuck would he say something like that?! WHY?!

Despite his internal panic, he knew he couldn't let it show, and so attempting to breathe and not fall into a panic attack, the ash-blond tried to calm himself down.

When he was at least a little bit better than before, Katsuki's red eyes moved to his phone again.

Only to see the picture that two nights ago almost got him in deep shit when he was at Tsuyu's. He completely forgot he set it as his background image the night they went out for drinks. When he suggested he and Tsuyu look at the comments under their dating announcement, he almost had a cardiac arrest.

No way, no fucking way was it possible to reasonably explain why he saved a photo of Asui Tsuyu and Deku's kid as his background and NOT change it over the course of almost two weeks that he had it there. No fucking way he could ever explain why he took a moment to stare at it every time he went to check his messages, time or answer a call.

Even if he always told himself he just liked the fucking picture and that it was none's fucking business. If anyone saw it, Katsuki knew the weak reasoning wouldn't fly.

But the truth was he did like the fucking picture, and it was none's fucking business.

He put the phone into his pocket, away from Eijiro's prying eyes. Even now that he had the excuse that Tsuyu was his woman…he couldn't bring himself to discuss the picture. It just felt too intimate and real since he had it far longer than their charade was in place.

Besides, why should anyone see it? It was his phone and his fucking picture; he didn't need anyone else to daydream about it or how both Tsuyu and Nagi were cute in it.

He turned to the other man and decided he was fucking done with being the center of his friend's attention like this. He wasn't one for lying in general, and honestly, talking about anyone Tsuyu-related just felt too humiliating for Katsuki's liking.

He went for a diversion.

'Listen, if you're that into that family shit, propose already. You're giving me a headache with all your indecisive crap. You love your woman. She loves you. Everyone likes her. She's a good person. From all those brainless pretty girls you dated only because you were too much of a pussy to let them down, I can honestly say I tolerate her for a whole evening without wanting to stab myself with a fork over how stupid she is. Don't be a wuss. I refuse to have a wuss for a friend,' he said, narrowing his eyes at him so the other hero would know he was serious.

It was hardly the first time he noticed how excited Eijiro was about all this stuff, but it was pretty obvious by now that he had his own reasons why everything made him so mellow inside lately. He was so smitten with his girlfriend; it was surprising that flying hearts didn't appear above his head every couple of seconds when he talked or thought about her.

'Yeah, I guess,' admitted Eijiro and, rather embarrassed, looked away, brushing the back of his head and looking as sheepish as ever.

Then he smiled a little, making it clear he was thinking about her again before he admitted, 'Maybe soon.'

Katsuki nodded, satisfied they had moved on away from him and Tsuyu for now and that his friend was genuinely doing something about his future. Katsuki craved control and leadership, but he did not enjoy giving people life or love advice.

'Listen,' started Eijiro once they were done dressing and packing, 'Would you…be open to go shopping with me sometime? Maybe pick something up?'

The ash-blond smirked, feeling proud of himself. He got through to his friend for once while they exited the gym, 'Yeah, you might pick a fucking vending machine ring otherwise.'

The redhead grinned at him, clearly not insulted at all. For all the years they were friends, Katsuki had yet to find a way to offend Kirishima Eijiro, 'Give me some credit.'

'Never,' said the ash-blond and picked up the pace, refusing to be late after all the teasing he got from Tsuyu.

After they got into their cars, Katsuki finally managed to split from Eijiro and head toward the address of the stupid photoshoot.

His agency worked with Tsuyu's and arranged the whole thing with the popular magazine to capitalize on their relationship. It would be good press for him in the eyes of the Hero Association as well as for Tsuyu's Kids at the Beach project, so even if Katsuki would rather have himself stabbed in the foot, he couldn't refuse it.

Over the course of those two days, Tsuyu did her best to calm his nerves with her support and reasoning, reminding him over the phone, texts, and one visit that they just needed to act naturally and stay on their path. Keep things as close to the truth as possible.

Katsuki hated that it worked for a little bit because it was fucking impossible to bitch about it when it did.

When he was finally at the place, however, all that support, reason, and stress relief melted away and left behind annoyance, frustration, anxiety, and stress.

Fuck this!

Just because it would be a good idea, it didn't mean Katsuki viewed it as such. The whole thing would be his and Tsuyu's first public outing as an itemor whatever. Despite everything they spoke about, Katsuki still felt like this could all blow up in their faces.

How the hell was he supposed to act around her now? The sea-green-haired woman assured him they didn't have to act all lovey-dovey, but he didn't buy it. People would notice they weren't an actual couple or at least that Katsuki was hardly the prototype for a good boyfriend. So far, the public perceived that he was a fuckboy who liked to treat his women rough.

Although a lot of people were positive and supportive. Maybe because of their hero colleagues and friends who wrote their congratulations. Just as many people were puzzled by their relationship to sugar code.

Even if Katsuki tried to avoid it, he couldn't escape the occasional tweet or comment about why someone like Froppy would be with him and vice versa since they seemed like total opposites when it came to their love lives, only for someone else to comment on one of the stills from their interview or their bar kiss.

At the place of the photo shoot, he was greeted by one of the assistants of his publicist, who was still semi-avoiding him. Katsuki wasn't certain if it was because he was the one who orchestrated the accidental dating news or because he was afraid of the ash-blond after he ripped him and the others a new one to the others two days ago.

The guy's hella weak, so either reason is possible, thought Katsuki, as he followed the woman to his dressing room, where he put on the fancy clothes they picked up for him and allowed the petite hairdresser to fix his hair a bit and, with all the patience in the world, allowed her to apply some light makeup to him, 'All done, and can I say congratulations? You and Asui-san make a very pretty couple. She's so polite and nice. They had her come right after work, and she wasn't grumpy about it. Such a kind woman.'

Katsuki frowned at his reflection in the mirror opposite him when he heard, 'Right after work? So, she didn't fucking eat again?'

The woman was caught back by his words, but he didn't have time or patience to deal with her and rushed up from his chair, mumbling to himself, 'Stupid. Selfless. Little. Shit.'

Un-fucking-believable! She did it again!

He didn't think Tsuyu had a food-related problem, but it seemed she was rather careless when it came to taking care of herself when things like her project or someone else's well-being were involved.

Like hell, she's going to starve because of this bullshit.

He caught the assistant and ordered her to go buy Tsuyu and himself something nutritious to eat asap. In contrast, he went to find the Season Heroine and lay into her for skipping on food again. Despite all her good qualities, Tsuyu sure had a habit of torturing her body and sanity with sleep deprivation and lack of protein for the sake of others.

What a ton of bullshit! Thought Katsuki before he spotted a nearby vending machine and its contents.

Without a second thought, he shoved some spare change into the slot and pulled out the small cup of green jelly that he remembered Tsuyu used to eat back in U.A. dorms. When he got detention for fighting with Deku and was forced to take out everyone's trash, her entire bags would consist of those tiny cups and spoons, mainly because she separated them from the rest of her trash so she could recycle it.

Walking around the hallways and thinking about Tsuyu reminded Katsuki why they were there in the first place, and he started to get frustrated about the whole deal all over again.

Fucking photoshoot. Fucking Hero Association. Fucking idea. Fucking-

'Froggy,' he said without thinking, completely forgetting about their agreement to call each other by their first names more in public when he found her standing in the dressing room B.

His red eyes blinked, and it took him a second to properly realize what he saw before he asked, 'The fuck are you wearing?'

The sea-green-haired woman was standing in the room with an open curtain revealing exactly what she was wearing.

The moment her eyes landed on the ash-blond, she crossed her arms over her chest, no doubt trying to block his view from the dress. Even his loud and hardcore old hag would have wept at how horrible it looked. His crybaby father would have nightmares about it for weeks.

There was absolutely no fucking way to put it gently as Katsuki found it profoundly hideout.

'That's…the ugliest thing I ever saw,' said Katsuki, not bothering to sugar code it since he knew it fucking wouldn't do anyone any good as he walked into the room closer to her, 'D-did you pick it up yourself?'

Tsuyu looked at him, and although her face couldn't show it, she was obviously giving him the 'Are you insane' look.

'Of course not!' she sounded almost insulted. He would think she had this terrible sense of fashion, which was fair; if he found out she did, he would surely lose some of his respect for her.

'I guess the agencies agreed that I should wear your colors?' she said hesitantly, obviously as displeased by the idea as he felt, 'The shoes are black, Kero,' she said and sighed before she turned to face the long mirror in the changing room.

Katsuki peaked inside only to see her reflection as well.

Everything he said in her kitchen two days ago wasn't just to lift her fucking spirit or whatever. He genuinely thought the heroine was hot and pretty in a unique way that the more he looked at, the more he seemed to like the instant of the standard everyday shit he felt fed up with each passing year.

Asui Tsuyu was attractive, pretty, and hot in a way; he rarely saw anyone else, and honestly, it was a good thing. She also looked good in everything Katsuki saw her wear so far. Even her green high school PJs made her look hella cute. But by gods, this orange monstrosity they forced on her was fucking awful.

'It looks like someone spilled rotten pumpkin juice on you,' he said and rolled his eyes, 'Fuck that. Let's find you something else. Something wearable.'

'Do you think we can change it like that?' asked the woman, but she didn't seem too distressed as she followed him out from the changing room to search some of the designer clothing around.

'I'm wearing black pants and a white shirt,' he said, motioning to himself, 'Anything will go with this.' He supposed the magazine was aiming at elegant but not too fancy since they didn't give him a jacket.

Tsuyu started to search the racks for something to wear, 'So…how was your date with Eijiro-chan?' she asked, obviously meant to tease him.

Katsuki lifted his eyes to look at her before he grimaced at the dress on her again, 'I can't take you seriously when you look like a three-week-old Halloween decoration.'

Tsuyu chuckled and pressed her index finger against her bottom lip, 'Well, that's probably the most creative compliment I ever got.'

'Yeah, I'll give up a nice one once we find something better for you,' he said without thinking as his eyes caught something green.

Luckily, he didn't have to dwell on his words as he pulled a fancy-looking jumpsuit with short cape sleeves that covered the back that looked like it could fit her. The sea-green-haired heroine was petite but also very fit, as was expected from a combat heroine like her, and the clothing looked like she could pull it off rather nicely. Being the son of fashion designers had its little perks from time to time.

'How about this?' he asked and presented the jumpsuit to her, feeling a growing excitement inside, wondering if she would like it.

He saw alluring dark eyes run over the clothing and then pulled up her pretty smile before she breathed out almost in delight, 'The color is perfect.'

She took a few steps closer to him, admiring the jumpsuit and filling his chest with a sense of pride and satisfaction that she liked it, too.

'Damn right it. I know what's good.'

She grinned at him, 'You sure do, Baku-chan.'

Her smile fell a bit, and she pressed her index finger against her lip again, 'But are you certain the others will approve? They wanted me to wear your colors, kero.'

Katsuki frowned at that and put the jumpsuit over her body as if he was checking to see if it would fit.

He gave her a very analytical look from head to toe before he settled on her face again. Her large eyes were looking into his as his hand smoothed over the material with his other hand. It was pretty soft on the touch, and for some reason, looking at Tsuyu's eyes caused the ash-blond to momentarily forget what they were doing and freeze in the moment.

She'll look good in this…really good.

He cleared his throat and tried to gain some composure from the weird moment.

Once he felt confident enough, he wouldn't sound or look like an idiot; he said, 'You're Froppy. You're your own heroine, Asui Tsuyu.'

Tsuyu blinked, and he saw her lips parted like she wanted to say something, but nothing came out. Instead, she remained standing there looking at him. He couldn't tell what was going on inside her mind, and it always fucking annoyed the living daylight out of him. Now, it was even more frustrating for some reason, so much so he couldn't stand it.

Before she would notice something was going on, Katsuki ushered her toward the changing room, 'And hand me that puking-worthy abomination. I want to blow it to pieces.'

He heard her chuckle over the curtain while she was undressing, which he purposely avoided thinking about, 'Don't. It's probably really expensive, and someone made it with love-'

'Hardly,' he disagreed as he saw her put the dress over the top of the curtain.

It caused the curtain to move for a second, but he made sure to avert his eyes and instead focused on the hideous dress.

Katsuki snatched it, ignoring her reminders not to blow up someone else's property, and if nothing else, he at least tossed it to the side.

Fucking abomination.

'Alright, this looks much better, Kero,' said Tsuyu as she pulled the curtain open and stepped further into the changing room, allowing Katsuki to enter as well, 'It looks like we match, right?'

They both turned toward the mirror, and Katsuki had to admit both of them looked damn good. If nothing else, no one would be able to say they didn't dress for the occasion.

'Fuck yeah, that's more like it,' he said, nodding at their reflection proudly before he looked at her again.

The jumpsuit was perfect for her. It was elegant and decent but not overly fancy or childlike, making Tsuyu look like a strong, skilled woman and heroine. She already was all those things, and the Number One Hero was certain everyone would be able to see it in this dress.

There was also something rather thrilling about being able to see her wear something other than her cute dresses, long skirts and hero costume. Somehow, the jumpsuit made her seem more feminine without pushing her toward girly, and that was definitely a good look on her, in Katsuki's opinion.

The truth was, standing like this next to each other, even the ash-blond had to admit they looked like a hot-ass couple. As much as he would rather not think about their constantly mentioned dynamic and shit by the public and their close ones or their fake agreement, there was something that made them click, and when he wasn't being a fucking embarrassed pussy about it, he actually saw it and enjoyed it.

We look real and really good, like we fit together rather nicely.

Tsuyu smiled upon hearing his comment, almost startling him. She could hear his thoughts too, 'I'm glad. We look really good.'

She brushed her palm across her side of the material, 'It's really comfortable too.'

'Damn right,' said the ash-blond watching her smile for a moment too long, focusing on its outline before he shoved his hands into his pockets and felt his purchase from the nearby vending machine, 'Oh, I almost forgot.'

His free hand reached out, and before she had time to react to what he was doing, he flicked her forehead.

Tsuyu stepped back and covered the spot with her palm, looking very shocked, 'Baku-chan!'

'Never put your guard down, Froggy,' said the ash-blond with a smirk, enjoying the alert state he left her in. It felt good to rile her up a bit. He liked it.

However, he quickly dropped his smirk and gave her a serious look by narrowing his eyes and furrowing his brows into what many of those who know him called him his bitch face, 'That's for skipping lunch for something as stupid as this. Pull that shit again and fucking see what happens.'

She looked stunned, and he was tempted to punish her a tiny bit more but ultimately dropped it, fearing he would enjoy it too much.

He then pulled out the small cup with green jelly from his pocket, 'I already had someone go and buy you something real to eat, but in the meantime, here,' he explained. When she didn't react, he snatched her free hand and dropped the cup into her palm, 'You still love those, right?'

He hadn't seen her eat any of them since they started to hang out so much, but it felt insane that she would hate them now.

Tsuyu watched the cup for a moment, making Katsuki wonder if he did something wrong before she closed her fist around it and pressed it against her chest.

Her dark eyes were as expressionless as ever, but when she opened her mouth, her voice carried so much gratitude and wonder, it more than made up for it, 'Katsu-chan, you're my hero.'

Of course, she wouldn't let him enjoy messing with and surprising her for too long. She just had to go and say something that shook his very core.

Fuck, right in the heart, Tsuyu, he thought, hoping his face wasn't turning red, but he didn't have it in him to check in the mirror.

'It's…whatever,' he tried and failed to make it sound like it wasn't a big deal before he weakly added, 'Enjoy.'

When her lips formed another smile, his heart came to life, beating far faster than it had a moment ago.

Who the fuck was this weak wuss who sounded so pathetic? He asked himself, wondering how much longer it would take for him to become immune to her and the things she did to him.

'Thank you, kero,' said Tsuyu and glanced at the jelly with a cute smile across her face, looking so pretty and happy for a moment he didn't dare to speak a single word in fear of ruining it.

When she finally raised her head and looked behind him at the open curtain, he allowed himself to swallow and tried to calm down as she explained, 'I'm not sure the lady who did my makeup would appreciate it, though. She worked really hard, but I think she didn't use the waterproof one.'

'Then eat carefully,' said Katsuki before he turned around and, without thinking, snatched the curtain to close it on them. It would buy them more time to hide the jelly if anyone came into the dressing room B.

Tsuyu opened the cup and pulled the small spoon, 'We could share it, though.'

The ash-blond raised his brows, unsure if he heard her right or if she really wanted to say it because, with the way she shifted her eyes away, it almost seemed like she regretted doing so.

'Share it?' he asked as if to clarify or buy himself more time because those words should not have been as triggered as they were.

She nodded, but it was unbelievably slow. It almost seemed like she spaced out, 'W-why not?'

Katsuki's mind went blank. There was definitely something, a reason or plural. Why the fuck should they fucking not share anything, let alone a tiny jelly cup? But for the love of him, the Number One Hero couldn't remember a single one at that moment.

He couldn't process a single reasonable thought as his brain must have been too busy dealing with the rising heat inside his body and speeding heart.

Finally, he swallowed and glanced at the green jelly cup and a tiny spoon.

'Fuck it, why not?' he asked out loud, trying to normalize the situation where Tsu would share a spoon and a cup of jelly while inside a dressing room about to pretend to be together.

It was just one tiny jelly cup, and it wasn't like sharing a spoon was a big deal. It wasn't like he was sharing the jelly by diving into her mouth to get it-

Katsuki immediately blocked the image that tried to force itself into his mind and snatched the spoon from Tsuyu's hand, stealing some jelly with it.

'Oi-!'

'Don't worry, I left you enough,' he assured her and licked the spoon, making a bit of a show out of it, enjoying the way Tsu's eyes fell to his mouth to watch and how even if it was hard to see in the weak light in the changing room, she looked flushed now.

He returned the spoon to her, and she took it elegantly, diving it into the cup and then putting it into her mouth. Even if they were dark and expressionless, Katsuki would swear Tsuyu's eyes shone with light when she finally tasted the jelly, especially when a profoundly satisfying moan suddenly broke from her throat, echoing in the changing room.

Whoa… that's…hot, he thought to himself, suddenly less playful about the whole jelly thing and more alert, among other things. She already sounded grateful and happy when he cooked for her a few days ago, but even that was nothing compared to how she sounded now and what it was doing to him.

He licked his lips without thinking, watching her suck on the spoon for a moment longer, feeling his pants become slightly tighter and properly sweating now regardless of if he would ruin the clothes, 'That good, huh?'

'So good,' she moaned some more, and before he could remember it was his turn, he watched her steal another bite and moan some more just as enthusiastically as before.

This time, he couldn't help but chuckle, if only because it was so rare for Asui Tsuyu to act any other way than nice and polite. Stealing wasn't nice. Moaning like that when she was alone with a guy wasn't nice.

Fuck, think of something else before she notices you're into it, he warned himself, but he still couldn't stop smirking. It was definitely embarrassing and would have been so much worse if she noticed, but despite it all, he couldn't find it in him not to enjoy it.

He liked seeing her happy. He wasn't selfish or envious as people liked to paint him out to be. Sure, he wanted things and got pissed when he didn't get them, but he did want people he considered his to succeed. So he liked very much to see her happy. Always. Being able to see a bit of a naughty side to her, too, was just a fucking worth-it bonus.

Tsuyu had her eyes closed now, and Katsuki used that moment to have his index finger circle across the edge of the cup and then put it into his mouth to suck on.

He was never a fan of anything sweet since he was very ritualistic about keeping his body in the best shape imaginable. But fuck it if the almost sour taste of the green desert he was sharing with Tsuyu while they were hidden inside this small changing room wasn't fucking delicious enough to die for or, worse, change his mind about his strict diet.

'Greedy,' he said, pulling his finger from his mouth to take a bit off the edge again while Tsuyu went for another whole spoon of the desert, 'I could give you more. Too bad we don't have the time,' he said playfully. If he knew it would have been this delicious to eat, he would buy her another cup.

Tsuyu moaned some more before she said, 'So cruel of you to tease me like this, Baku-chan.'

He smirked, feeling his chest vibrate with joy over it for some reason. He always felt so stressed about everything going on regardless of his image and potential future of being the Number One Hero, but with Tsuyu, it was so fucking easy to forget and just relax even when they were doing something as silly as eating jelly in secret like two brats who snuck away from their parents.

Tsuyu took another bit and sighed, partly content and partly disappointed, causing the ash-blond to laugh a bit, 'Don't give me that face. There's no time for more.'

He licked his finger one last time, making sure to pull out a tissue to clean his hand, 'But if you do well on the photo shoot, I promise to give you more afterward.'

'Kero,' Tsuyu croaked, but it wasn't her typical sound, but a much lower, almost moanlike one, causing Katsuki's heart to skip a beat.

'You promise more? She asked, and it sounded so fucking seductive that no matter how much Katsuki tried to reason, he just couldn't convince his cock it wasn't like that.

Tsuyu must have seemed to notice how it sounded, too, because her cheeks became red again, and her eyes darted to the side.

You fucking started it; his mind accused her silently, not at all upset about it, though.

It would be wiser to stop their little teasing game, but for some reason, the ash-blond couldn't help himself but say, 'I promise, I'll give you so fucking much you'll be so fucking full of it you won't be able to walk properly,' he forced his free hand into his pocket fisting it as hard as he could so he wouldn't get even more aroused, 'I'll give you so much all the way until your heart's content.'

She was blushing hard now, with the red color reaching toward the roots of her hair and below the modest cleavage of her jumpsuit, leaving him curious as to how far that blush would reach.

He felt he might be blushing as well, but he couldn't get his eyes off her.

He wondered if that was too fucking much. It definitely felt like it was for him as he was moments away from snatching her spoon and licking it himself, all because she had to be so vocal when she ate that stupid jelly.

I might fucking never look at a jelly cup without getting hard again.

Tsuyu finally looked at him and pulled the spoon away from her lips. It was as if the move took over Katsuki's body, and without any reason to, he took a step closer to her.

He was still determining what he would do. If he would really try to steal the spoon from her or something else, he tried not to imagine, he really did, but right before he could do anything, even make the decision of what he should do, they heard it.

Right then and there, standing far too close after a conversation that was filled with double meanings and tension that made it almost hard to breathe for the ash-blond, not to mention fit into those stupid fancy pants they pushed on him, he and Tsuyu heard someone very loud clear their throat no doubt to get their fucking attention.

Red and black eyes met and widened as they realized someone had come into the dressing room and was behind the in-no-fucking-way soundproof curtain, and most likely, that person heard everything and then some.

'Shit,' mumbled Katsuki and snatched their empty jelly cup and spoon hiding them near her clothes and bag. They were so caught up in their game or whatever the hell that was they didn't even fucking notice they had company. Some professional heroes they were.

It was horribly farfetched, but he prayed whoever was on the other side of the ridiculously not soundproof curtain did not hear them and announced their presence once they entered the dressing room.

Katsuki glanced at Tsuyu, who was partly covering her mouth, but it didn't hide the fact that her face was as red as a tomato, and she was very much humiliated now.

He didn't blame her and felt the same, but he waited until she looked at him.

Once she did, she hesitantly nodded, which was all he needed to open the curtain.

Behind it was the assistant he sent to fetch Tsuyu and him something to eat and the hairdresser from earlier.

Their faces were red, too, and they were looking literally anywhere but at him and Tsuyu.

They heard everything, he thought reasonably, doing his best not to self-explode or sweat through the clothes completely.

Katsuki was used to people acting embarrassed and like they had a middle school crush on him. It annoyed the hell out of him, and he would rather those people didn't approach him, but he was used to the notion.

This seemed to be a whole new level as it took the assistant several attempts to say what she needed to, 'S-s-so so-sorry to bother you, Bakugou-san, but…uh…but the photographer is waiting for you…two.'

She couldn't even raise her head when she spoke and quickly stepped out of their way to set the lunch she bought at the nearby table.

He didn't bother to nod or acknowledge he heard her as he turned to Tsuyu.

She lowered the hand covering her mouth and clearly attempted to act bravely when she spoke, 'Then we should get going. We wouldn't want them to wait any longer.'

Katsuki wished she hadn't said anything at all because he clearly heard the hairdresser let out a little giggle.

Both he and Tsuyu lowered their heads, and feeling like a brat caught kissing a girl for the first time in the backyard of his parents' house, they walked toward the direction of the set, followed by the quiet assistant.

For fuck's sake, could this get any more awkward?!

The photographer enthusiastically greeted them and introduced them to the several people who were around, mostly from the magazine staff.

He did notice one woman rather manically throwing her hands and saying something in that whispering, shouting way to another man who kept on nodding, looking uncomfortable before he approached them.

'Excuse me,' he said, and given how stressed he was, Katsuki immediately frowned at him.

He looked away from the Number One Hero and focused on Tsuyu instead, 'Asui-san, but this isn't the clothing we had laid out for you.'

Katsuki's frustration intensified, and he was about to tell the man to fuck off before Tsuyu cut him off, 'Ah, do they not suit me?'

The man looked completely bamboozled by the question, like he was a student on an oral exam, and the teacher asked him a question outside of his learning material, 'Wha-no, no, of course, not. It's very flattering-you look very-'

'Green is more my color. This clothing fits the kind of hero I am better, don't you think?' she asked, but before the man could answer, she turned to Katsuki, 'It goes nicely with your clothing too, don't you think, Katsu-chan?

'Damn does, Tsu,' he agreed instinctively and watched the man start to sweat and try to come up with a strategy, but unfortunately, he wasn't quick enough, and the sea-green-haired siren already took a hold of Katsuki's arm, 'It's very kind of you to worry. Thank you so much for looking out for us, Kero.'

At that, Katsuki almost chuckled, but he stopped himself and settled for a quick smirk.

Tsuyu shared a quick look with him and led him further into the heart of the set and the photographer acting all innocent and shit.

'Well, aren't you clever,' he couldn't help himself but say, hoping she could sense it was a compliment. Katsuki wasn't good at these things and genuinely exploded easily when people pushed him.

He admired Tsuyu and her ability to circle around those things and come on top like this.

'I have no idea what you mean, Baku-chan,' she said, purposely sounding sweeter than usual to underline her acting.

Out of the corner of his eyes, the Number One Hero saw the man return to the woman, who shot Tsuyu the nastiest look he ever witnessed someone give the sea-green-haired heroine. It caught him off guard since he never saw someone be so openly angry with her, even to the point he would say the woman despised her.

He turned his head and shot the woman a dead glare just for good measure until she was out of his sight.

Katsuki tried to calm down, and if he had not calmed down completely, he at least stopped to worry about the changing room when he noticed his publicist was politely chatting with a member of the Hero Association not too far from where they were supposed to take their positions in front of the camera.

Tsuyu must have noticed he was looking there and followed his eyesight.

She obviously wished to ask, but before she could, they both heard someone loudly yell, 'In the dressing room?!'

Just like that, it seemed everyone was whispering about what happened or rather what they fucking assumed had happened while he and Tsuyu looked as guilty and embarrassed as ever.

'Fuck me,' he said, brushing his face with his palm hoping it wasn't too visible just how stressed and sweaty he was all of a sudden.

Tsuyu leaned closer to him while the photographer prepared his camera, 'Uh, I think that's what everyone thinks happened anyway.' She was obviously trying to light up the mood, but she did a really shitty job at it.

He shot her a look, partly blaming her for the whole shit. If she didn't make those…. sounds, none of this would have happened, and they wouldn't be ogled and pointed at like animals in the zoo. He wouldn't feel this pressure over his shoulders, and his life would have been far better and easier.

His eyes were narrowed, and he properly glared at her, 'Just shut up.'

She opened her mouth to say something else, but the photographer informed them he was ready, and they started the horrific photo shoot from hell.

To say that it wasn't going well would be an understatement of the fucking century.

Not only could the ash-blond constantly hear or see someone in the corner of his eyes talking about the changing room, but he was also nervous about why someone from the Hero Association would come to a photo shoot.

He knew what those fuckers thought about him. Izuku might have attempted to spare his feelings. Still, the association's people didn't care and gladly told them they found him unfit and couldn't wait to see him fail. Well, like fucking hell, he was letting that happen.

However, despite doing his best, it was still brutally hard to focus, and given how little by little their photographer's enthusiasm faded, it obviously showed in the pictures as well.

Katsuki tried. He really did, but he was never super comfortable in front of the cameras, and he doubted brooding would be a good look when he was supposed to act all in love and shit.

His eyes darted to Tsuyu, who surprisingly also didn't look her best picture self, and he wondered if he insulted her when she tried to take his mind off it all. He felt so good in the changing room. Even if they were teasing one another, perhaps even flirting, he felt like he could breathe and not like there was a fucking statue of a goblin sitting on his shoulders, crushing him to the ground. It was relaxing and light to be with Tsuyu on his own.

Now he felt upset all over again, but at the moment, for a completely different reason. If it wasn't for Tsuyu's plan and willingness to go along with it, the Hero Association would have no doubt forced him to step down. She saved his ass and put her own on the line. Sure, none of this would have happened if it wasn't for their kiss in the bar that she started, but he meant everything he said to her before.

He didn't blame her for it. Not even for a second.

It was a good kiss, and those fuckers would have found something else to criticize me for, he thought to himself.

When the photographer asked for a break, no doubt frustrated with their performance, she immediately spoke, 'Baku-chan-'

'Sorry,' he mumbled, finally looking at her properly, pushing his hands into his pockets, feeling more relaxed now, 'I'm just upset. It's not your fault.'

'Me too, and it's not yours either, Kero,' she assured him and looked less stiff than she did before, too.

They heard some more chatter about the changing room and the jelly cup, which they apparently didn't hide that well.

Katsuki groaned, hoping this fucking day would end already, while Tsuyu giggled, 'That's a surprising idea. Would anyone even use that?' she asked, putting her index finger against her lower lip, 'It's not particularly easy to spread anywhere.'

The ash-blond still thought it wasn't a good idea to talk about it. Still, he recognized her attempts to break through the awkwardness and embarrassment of it all and humored her, 'Can't think of a reason why not.'

He shrugged his shoulders and subtly glanced at the man from the Hero Association, who was still present and watching them.

Did they send someone to fucking spy and report back to them? If so, why? He wasn't their favorite, fine. But he did his job well and then some. Fuck, he hoped the asshole wasn't some Puritan who would give him a lecture if he heard about the changing room, which was very likely, given how loudly people around the set were talking about it.

Tuyu's dark eyes raised to his, and although she looked a bit flushed again, her voice was teasing again, 'Did you…?'

It took him a moment to take his mind off the work problems before he grimaced, realizing what she asked, 'Not with jelly, you perv.'

'You brought it up, so how am I the perv?' she asked in a quiet voice, sounding and looking almost scandalized with the way she pressed her palm against her chest like an old lady that just heard him curse. Still, the smile she barely contained gave her away.

He also felt the corners of his lips lift, 'Whatever, it wouldn't taste bad.'

He glanced around just to make sure no one else was close, making a bit of a show of just how secretive he was trying to be, 'Especially…'

Tsuyu leaned closer and brushed her hair, 'Especially?'

He remained smirking at her while looking at her rosy cheeks, knowing she was thinking about all of this. For some reason, the idea that she was pushed a lot of the humiliation away in favor of heat and something far more thrilling than stress and worry.

He purposely leaned closer to her ear. Close enough that his breath moved some of her hair. If he wanted to, he could lick the shell of her ear and make her squeak or yelp. The prospect was tempting. Even with the audience, which was something Katsuki never even humored by taking his partner's hand, the idea of riling Asui Tsuyu up in public was like a new seed that entered his mind and bloomed. Of course, given what happened with the changing room, he wouldn't do it. He couldn't, but even for a moment, he wondered if maybe it wouldn't be worth it. Just a little bit.

'Especially when you're eating it off of someone else's body,' he whispered, a bit disappointed that he didn't dare to say cunt or tits with everyone else this close, watching and listening to them. It just couldn't be helped.

He leaned away, and although not completely out of the woods, he felt better about everything that happened. The asshole from the Hero Association could go fuck himself for all he cared, and so could the others. They had no proof he and Tsuyu did anything, and they knew they didn't do anything. As for the photo shoot, he felt better. He probably wouldn't be able to relax completely since he never could, but he would do his best to at least look natural at this boyfriend stuff.

He almost grimaced at the sour taste the idea left in his mouth until he heard Tsuyu's little giggle. It wasn't her amused one or her happy one. It had an undertone, and given how close they were and how he was whispering to her like this, he had a hunch about what it could be.

'So, it's good?' she asked with a voice slightly lower than usual, and Katsuki smirked and leaned away, 'Yeah.'

His own voice wasn't completely normal, but he blamed the stuffy and warm room. It was overall a weird day, and the flirting was just a part of the overall weirdness of it, he supposed.

When he looked at her, he found her still blushing and looking at the ground with her index finger pressed against her lower lip, 'Maybe I'll try it someday.'

Just like that, his fucking pants were tight again, and his mind supplied him with images he definitely didn't need at the moment.

'If nothing else, it will definitely be tasty,' she said and glanced back at him, and without preparation or anything else, and despite him feeling aroused, they shared a smile and a smirk.

Even if he was rather people didn't notice, he was excited. he was glad Tsuyu and he could look each other in the eyes and seemed in a much better state of mind.

'Yeah, especially when you lick it-'

'No,' Tsuyu said, quickly covering his mouth to stop him from finishing while giggling, 'Don't say that!'

It was good that she stopped him. He doubted he would get away with what he wanted to say. And to be honest, he didn't really understand why he was so open to this shit simply because she was involved.

He grinned against her hand before she pulled it away.

Some of Tsuyu's hair fell in front of her face again, and without thinking, Katsuki's hand reached out and brushed it behind her ear while she remained smiling at him with her eyes closed.

His fingers stroked the helix of her ear, which was when they heard the click of the camera.

He and Tsuyu turned in the direction of the photographer, who was smiling again, looking just as excited as he did when they showed up, practically shaking with energy and excitement.

What a weirdo, thought Katsuki, slightly annoyed, and dropped his smirk.

'That was a good one,' assured them the photographer and checked the image on his camera before he spoke, 'Alright, this is what we'll do. Bakugo-san,' he looked at him and then at Tsuyu, 'Asui-san, please turn to face each other,' he said and gestured for them to do so.

The ash-blond felt himself tensing again, but he did as he was told and glanced down at Tsuyu again.

It felt like shit to be watched, but it was worse when he couldn't even look at those fuckers who were watching them. He felt exposed and uncomfortable.

Like fucking animals in the zoo.

'Good,' said the photographer and took another picture.

'Alright,' he said again, and Katsuki could hear he was pleased. He wanted to look at him again, but the man stopped him, 'Now, let's try this. Asui-san, please put your hand on his back, and Bakugou-san put your arms around her waist and pull her closer.'

Katsuki hoped his face was as unreadable as Tsuyu's at that moment right before he reached out and put his arms around her waist, pulling her slowly closer until their bodies touched.

It's just a photo shoot, and they hugged before.

They weren't watched by so many people before, but he tried to reason with that and do his best. He pushed all thoughts how close and in how many places they were touching away. It wouldn't look good if he had a tent in his fucking pants on every single photo, would it now?

He didn't make a habit of touching women, but even when he did, he couldn't remember the last time he had this much trouble to fucking control himself. He knew it was because of the teasing and that shit, but still, it felt like an overkill.

Tsuyu's hands slipped to his back below his neck in a sort of intimate way that caused a shiver to rush over his body.

Shit

However, even in heels, the sea-green-haired hero was simply too short, so she slid the other hand from his back toward his front, making a bit of a show of it if Katsuki's reacting body had anything to say about it before she settled firmly against his chest over his heart.

When she did, Katsuki noticed Tsuyu swallowed a bit, and the dusty pink color that dominated her cheeks all day, it seemed, became more profound.

Despite his own tension and discomfort, he smirked at the realization, feeling smug about it again.

Of course, because she was Tsuyu, she didn't leave him with the satisfaction for too long because she pressed against him even more firmly than before and gave him a quick look, making it clear she knew what she was doing.

What a brat.

He leaned forward and, for a second, touched his head against the side of her.

As shocking as it was to the ash-blond, it took Katsuki a few minutes to realize he completely tuned out the clicking of the camera, the meaningless praises coming from the photographer, or the people around them on the set.

At one point, Tsuyu dropped her head and smiled to herself before she looked back up at him, and Katsuki couldn't help but tighten his hold on her fit waists, which brought her a little bit closer to him again.

Up this close, he could breathe in her smell again.

Fucking hypnotic.

One of these days, he would have to ask her or snuck into her bathroom to find what was that maddingly good smell that took over his senses every time she was this close.

His mouth began to water like he wanted to snatch a bite of her. And maybe he did?

He would rather die or be nice to his old hag for a day than to admit this. But he found himself liking the feeling of Tsuyu in his arms and against him just as he had the night at the bar when they kissed.

He could almost pretend he was there again if he forgot about the annoying photographer and his clicking sounds and simply remained focused on her face, smiling at him like this.

It was a good night. The fucking best one he had in a while. Every time he spent with the heroine, he felt good and content; she was damn good company. But that night was absolutely freeing since they didn't have to deal with media bullshit yet. They had people approach them and all, but still, he felt almost normal and free from all his pathetic trouble.

He wanted this. He wanted to be the Number One Hero, and he finally was, regardless of the strings that came with it. He wouldn't change it or give it up simply because it wasn't as easy or glamorous as someone else might think. He spent most of his life to earn this. He did everything he could to get here. He would never let it go or complain about it. But every once in a while, it was nice to have a break from it all, with her.

He didn't realize what he was doing until their noses brushed against each other ever so slightly.

Once he did, he froze like a deer caught in the headlights.

Did I fucking lean in for a kiss?! His mind screamed at him as the content and arousal were pushed away by panic.

No fucking way!

His mind went blank while he tried calming himself down by breathing in and out her breath and wonderful smell.

What kind of an idiotic moron was he to forget himself and lean in for a fucking kiss this?!

'This is perfect,' said the photographer, sounding like a proper fangirl somewhere close, but Katsuki and Tsuyu were too busy looking at each other, 'So many feelings. Now maybe a little gentle kiss?'

Katsuki's heart stopped.

Fuck!

However, it came right back on as he felt Tsuyu rise to her heels, no doubt following through on the order and kissing him. But, like fucking hell, was Bakugou Katsuki letting her make the first move again.

Not this time, Tsuyu!

His right hand rose to the back of her neck, surprising her as she let out a small gasp, which he immediately took advantage of by pressing his parted lips against hers.

Shit, I forgot how good this felt, he absently lied to himself.

It wasn't that he was going to give those fuckers a free show. Even if he got better at knowing they were there, he still couldn't bring himself to do PDA as carelessly as others did.

So, his aim was something short and simple, even if he knew from the moment he leaned forward, it would be anything but that, given the emotional riot that was happening inside him.

Their lips barely touched, but fuck if that didn't turn him on and then some.

His heart was beating really fast, and he was sure Tsuyu could feel it since her hand was still pressed against his chest.

Their lips moved so profoundly, slowly, and delicately. Nothing too vulgar and passionate like the shit everyone expected from him and more. It might have looked boring to the outside world, but the ash-blond was barely hanging on for his dear life not to get fucking swept away by the strength and intensity but the small kisses.

Her lips were soft, but not the softest he had ever kissed, yet Katsuki still found he preferred them over the softer ones. Tsuyu could be gentle. She often was as she was a rather calm individual who had her shit together. But she was never fragile, never weak, never anything that made Katsuki tense and fear he could break it.

It was barely seconds, but something started to awaken inside of Katsuki's stomach. The tension and arousal had been haunting him since the dressing room, but this felt different. It felt much warmer and kinder than those things.

Tsuyu's little kero sound escaped somewhere between their locked lips, and Katsuki felt like it might be almost too much.

He could feel the tip of her nose against his cheek and her eyelashes brushing his own.

He angled his head, increased the pressure, and parted her stunned lips further with ease, his tongue a dart that sampled her in little, teasing sips.

Fuck that's good.

Of course, Asui Tsuyu tasted like something he wouldn't mind gluttoning during the cheat days or any other days.

His palm moved from their spot on her waist to curve around her as if his body wanted to show possession of her.

Then everything stopped.

He leaned away, feeling a sense of pride and victory when he saw it took the sea-green-haired woman a while to open her eyes, and when she did, she still looked like she was in a haze.

He smirked just as the photographer enthusiastically yelled, 'That was amazing! I have chills. Good work, you two.'

Katsuki didn't look at the man just yet as he watched Tsuyu's tongue brush against her lips.

She must not have realized she did that because once she did, and she realized he was looking at her all smug, her eyes widened, and her face got red again.

'That's great! Now, last shot!' said the photographer and Katsuki saw her try to calm herself.

'Turn this way, please?'

They did at the same time, finally looking at someone other than each other, but even if Katsuki could see everyone from the set now, he couldn't stop feeling pride over messing with the woman next to him like that, even if a little bit.

So damn cute, he couldn't help but think she looked like when she was like this.

He let go of her, but only so he could put his palm on her lower back while Tsuyu clumsily leaned against him and put her own hand on his back.

He focused on the camera and her touch instead of the people watching and whispering about them.

'Perfection! Absolutely beautiful and strong!' yelled the photographer, clearly in some sort of artistic delirium before he finally sighed in , contentment annoying Katsuki for some reason, and declared they were finished.

'Finally,' whispered the Number One Hero as he couldn't help himself.

Some magazine people started to clap, and Katsuki did his best not to be rude before he turned toward Tsuyu, who blinked, 'Uh, you have some of my lipstick on you.'

His free hand reached out and brushed his mouth, trying to erase whatever traces of Tsuyu's makeup could be on him, only to find his fingers somewhat dirty with the red color.

The tension from before returned a bit as he couldn't help but think, Almost like she wanted to leave her mark on me.

Given his track record of partners that never lasted too long, or they weren't all that serious to begin with, the idea that he would be marked by someone in such a way should not have made him feel as turned on and intrigued as it did.

It must be just because of the fucking spectacularly good kiss, he thought and hoped Tsuyu got so good because she was a natural. Thinking about any other sucker she might have gained experience from filled him with frustration all over again.

'May I?' Tsu asked, already reaching for him, and he couldn't think up a single reason why not as he nodded and let her brush her wide fingers against his lips.

As she did this, Katsuki had to mentally push back against the intrusive thought that entered his mind about biting her finger if only to mess with her a bit more than he already did.

While she did this, he took a moment to realize he was still keeping his hand on her back, and although there was far more chatter, the others didn't approach them at all.

He looked up and found several people still eyeing and whispering about them. He noticed that his publicist and the man from the Hero Association weren't there anymore, and something about that rubbed him once again the wrong way.

Finally, everyone seemed to decide to move toward them, congratulate them on their work, and give some instructions as to what would happen next.

It took a couple of minutes by which his publicist returned alone and also told him about how they could go change and finish eating their lunches while he arranged for the final photos to be sent to them for approval.

The ash-blond noticed how he seemed to watch Tsuyu a bit longer than necessary, causing him to move his hand to her waist again and push her closer to him, 'We're leaving.'

'Of course, my apologies. Have a nice day,' said the publicist, looking as kind as his usual self, but Katsuki couldn't help but feel less like he was dealing with his own father for some reason. He should figure out what to do with him and soon.

'Was that man he was with the one who called you? From the Hero Association?' Tsuyu asked once they were in a safe distance from the others who might overhear.

Katsuki shook his head, 'It wasn't that asshole, but he was from the Hero Association, yeah.'

She was silent for a moment, 'You think they sent him to make sure you would behave?'

'I think they sent him here to see if I would fuckup,' he clarified and finally, let her go feeling shitty about whatever games those assholes were playing with him, 'I'll change. You can start eating without me. I want to talk to one of the assistants about something.'

Tsuyu nodded, and they parted their ways.

DDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Katsuki would be lying if he didn't admit he took his time getting to Tsuyu's dressing room. After everything that happened, his emotions were shifting and all too overwhelming to deal with. He almost wished Tsuyu had gone home already.

Finally, after what he deemed a decent amount of time, he went to see if she was still here with her food container partly full, 'Oh, you came back.'

The ash-blond brushed the back of his hair for a moment, feeling like a loser for thinking about running away on her before.

He approached her, 'I almost didn't.'

She offered him an understanding nod, 'I get it. Today was all kinds of a lot. I'm glad we got through it in one piece.'

'Barely,' he comments dryly.

Katsuki took a spare chair opposite her and unpacked his lunch before diving in. He had to admit. Eating with her was a nice experience he would enjoy doing more often. But given how the food lacked some flavor and was cold now, he would prefer they cooked the next time they did this.

Tsuyu chuckled, 'I can see the food isn't to your liking either.'

'It's cold, but I refuse to let it go to waste.'

'Me too,' she admitted, and he knew she meant it, 'Maybe next time we can cook again. I liked cooking with you.'

He smirked at that, 'Of course you did, I'm the fucking best.'

She grinned, 'Yes, Baku-chan, you are.'

He ate the weak-ass food with Tsuyu in calm silence, filling a lot of his social battery. He was often around people who tried to fill the silence as they didn't like it or who were silent because they were scared of him, only to create this fucking annoying atmosphere around him.

Tsuyu's silence was peaceful and rather comfortable, leaving the ash-blond to enjoy it just as much as he did talking with her.

They finished their food silently and agreed it wasn't the best, but the exhaustion over everything that happened was too great to bitch about it. Katsuki would have bitched. Tsuyu would probably just give honest but polite comments.

They packed their trash, and Tsuyu went to get her bag, only to let out a confused sound.

'What's wrong?'

'The jelly cup is gone. I wanted to recycle it,' she said, and Katsuki chuckled and shook his head at how she never changed.

She searched for the cup for a few moments just to be certain she wouldn't leave it, and they made their exit, 'I know today wasn't great, but at least we got to be together. I hope the magazine will have good pictures and run a good article.'

Katsuki nodded as he hoped for the same.

If, after all this stress and bullshit, he didn't achieve some good press, he would go fucking ballistic on someone.

'Tomorrow after my shift, I have a radio interview about the Kids at the Beach project,' admitted the sea-green-haired heroine, 'I hope it will go well.'

He sensed the worry in her voice, 'It will. You could talk about that stuff in your sleep. Just make sure you're fully rested and eat.' He pinched her cheek for good measure, earning a light shove into his side. It was so easy to tease her at times.

'I will do my best-'

'No, you will do it,' he told her firmly. He knew he couldn't order her around. This wasn't about that. He just wanted her to do things for her well-being, for fuck's sake.

She seemed to accept it, and they moved on, talking a bit about how things were going since the announcement of them becoming an item, 'I spoke with my family and Ocha-chan.'

They were almost out of the building now, 'Everyone wants to meet you, and Ocha-chan wants to threaten you probably.'

'My old hag wants you over for dinner too. If we're up for total chaos, we should have everyone over at the same time.'

The laugh Tsuyu let out sounded more like a croak, and the ash-blond found it fucking hilarious, 'Kami, no. They're all great, and I love them, but…no.'

He chuckled and couldn't stop himself from smiling. The photoshoot wasn't public knowledge, so they were lucky enough not to have any annoying paparazzi and press members around as they walked outside.

It became a habit for the Number One Hero to walk Tsuyu to her car, making sure she got there safely. Ridiculous, he knew, but he couldn't help it. Maybe he just liked to be the last one she talked to before she was off, or he liked talking to her just a few moments longer before she had to leave.

He felt she noticed it, too, since she glanced at him every few steps with a small smile, 'Thank you for walking me to my car, Kero.'

'You're welcome,' he said, smirking, 'Had to make sure you wouldn't steal the vending machine.'

Tsuyu's smile widened, 'Just the jelly, kero.'

His thoughts circled around what happened during the photo shoot, and although it was still embarrassing, he couldn't help himself.

'For tonight?' he teased and enjoyed how quickly she turned red, 'Hush you!'

Never, he thought fondly, glad despite everything, they were ending the whole ordeal on a positive note.

Tsuyu got into the car, but she didn't drive away just yet, and the ash-blond couldn't help but wonder if there was a reason she was so reluctant to leave just yet.

'It shouldn't be surprising you picked a good one,' she said, causing him to wonder what she meant before he realized she must have been talking about the jumpsuit he found her, 'Your parents are fashion designers, right?'

'Yeah,' he admitted because why wouldn't he before he thought of something and said, 'Next time, if we knew about an event upfront, I'll ask them to make you something.'

Her dark eyes widened a little, but, 'What? No way. I couldn't possibly accept that-'

'You will,' he said firmly, 'I'm not going into all your polite refusal bullshit on this. They're good at their work. They'll make you something worthy of your hero name, Froppy.'

She watched him for a moment, and he knew she was battling with gratitude and the need to not be a bother before she smiled again, 'Not your hero name, Number One Hero Dynamight?'

'That too,' he nodded, and she giggled before nodding herself, 'Alright, the Hero Association Awards will be soon, so maybe they could prepare something for me then?'

Katsuki nodded, 'Sounds good. My old hag will love that. Prepare to have your phone constantly bombarded with her calls.'

'I don't mind. Your mom is a sweetheart to me,' she said proudly, and Katsuki rolled his eyes, not feeling as annoyed as he would if someone another time made such a comment, 'Die, Froggy.'

'Have a good night too, Katsu-chan,' she said, getting into her car, but paused before she would properly close the door and leave, 'Uh, we should.'

Her eyes darted back toward the building they just left and then at Katsuki.

He didn't have to tell her the words of what she meant before he leaned toward her and, for less than a second, captured her lips with his. He imagined he could have kissed a fucking relative like this and gotten away with it, although he would probably have to pour his face in bleach afterward if he did.

For Tsuyu, though, he settled for carrying that tingling sensation. The tiny kiss sparked all the way to his car before making sure she started hers and watched her disappear on the road in front of his eyes. He also seemed to pick up a habit of watching her drive off.

Katsuki did his best to stay calm once he got home. He texted Eijiro and Izuku that he thought the photoshoot went well, and the annoying nerd immediately called him.

'What?' he barked into the phone, annoyed he had to deal with him this late after such an eventful day.

'Hi, Kacchan,' he said as cheerfully as ever, and the ash-blond could hear Nagi's baby noise in the background, 'Was there someone from the Hero Association there too?'

Katsuki frowned, fearing why Deku was asking this in the first place, 'Yeah, some bastard. I saw him when we came to discuss your stepping down the first time. He didn't speak to me, though.'

'Hm, one of the board members contacted me and praised your work today. The magazine posted about it, too. Everyone seemed very excited about it. It's great!' said the other man cheerfully, but Katsuki couldn't help but feel a stab of annoyance that they contacted Deku over his achievements, not Katsuki himself, 'Good.'

'I told them that they should speak to you directly regarding these things since you're the Number One Hero now,' he heard Izuku say. He felt relieved knowing the Nerd realized this too and understood why it was important for Katsuki, 'Yeah? Thanks, Deku.'

'Of course,' he said, and the ash-blond rolled his eyes, imaging the guy beaming upon hearing him. Their interactions took a hit after Izuku dropped the bomb about him stepping down and since then, they more or less communicated only if it was about their work. Needless to say, it felt good to be on better terms again. It was easy to hate people he didn't care for or like, but those he considered good colleagues and friends or whatever were beyond exhausting to stay mad at.

'Also, I'm really sorry about this, but Ochako, hm, she wants you and Tsu-chan to come over for.'

'No,' said Katsuki, cutting him off immediately. What was it with everyone? No one ever seemed so eager to get him to come to visit, but now that he had a-ah fuck it!- a girlfriend, they couldn't get him to come for dinner or whatever fast enough?

'Please, Kacchan, it will be fun. We can even invite Eijiro and M-'

'Did you and Shitty Hair talk about this?'

The silence was incriminating as hell.

Still can't lie for shit, huh?

'Give me that,' he heard, and then there was the sound of someone ripping the phone from his hand until he heard Cheeks' voice, 'Two weeks from now. Our house. No excuses. You and Tsuyu don't have a shift.'

Katsuki frowned because how the hell did she know that? Tsuyu might have been her friend, but Katsuki wasn't, and his schedule should have been a secret only a handful of people knew. Obviously, untrustworthy fuckers, given what happened so far.

'Exactly, we have a day off, so we want to spend it together, don't you think?' he asked, praising himself for his quick thinking before the woman chuckled, 'Don't worry. The dinner can be at six, so you'll still have plenty of time for lovemaking at night.'

Why was it that Katsuki was surrounded by women who knew how to embarrass him like this? He couldn't figure it out as he tried not to blush and give Ochako the satisfaction of coming up with a decent-sounding reply.

'It's settled. I'll text Tsuyu so you won't forget,' she said, and the ash-blond frowned, 'Oi! The fuck?! Do you think I forget shit or something?'

'Tsuyu doesn't,' she replied, obviously mocking him before she wished him good night and returned the phone to Izuku.

He rolled his eyes when he heard the obnoxious kissing noise, and then Deku brightly said, 'Kacchan, so great that you have the time. It will be fun. Also, say hi to Tsu-chan for me. Good night.'

'Wait-Deku! We're not coming! We're not-FUCK!' he said as he realized the man already ended the call, and he was greeted with a picture of Tsuyu with Nagi on his phone.

His annoyance melted a bit as it always had when he saw the picture focusing on Tsuyu's bright smile.

'Fuck it,' he mumbled and turned off the screen before he went to finish his day and bed for a head start tomorrow.

As much as he would like to listen to Tsuyu's radio show, Katsuki was on patrol at the time, so he couldn't get to it until hours later when he returned to the agency.

His uniform was dusty, but it wasn't a hard day at all, which his muscles were thankful for. He loved his job and to fight villains, but it wasn't always easy to deal with the aftermath.

He went to his lockers to pick up his phone and then to the showers to listen to the archive recording of the interview there. He barely started grinning at how Tsuyu easily trolled the host by pretending she didn't know who Katsuki was, something which the ash-blond stored in his mind to tease her back about it later.

They were moving past his and Tsuyu's relationship in the interview as Katsuki started to undress to take a shower. He was glad that the radio host spent very little time on the whole relationship thing and focused more on Tsuyu's project.

However, before they really dived into it, one of his employees busted in and bowed, 'Bakugou-san, my apologies, but something happened?'

Katsuki tossed the top of his hero uniform on the small bench, 'What?'

'Someone released Asui-san's home address,' said the man, causing the Number One Hero's blood to run cold, 'It's all over the internet, sir. Everyone can find it now.'
