The Avengers (c) Marvel
Legend of Korra (c) Nickelodeon
Post Epilogue:
Nightfall, over the frozen wastes of the North Pole, the snowy winds bristle over this frozen landscape as the Northern lights whip and flicker over the silence of this land. However in this barren land a lone figure walks through this ferocious storm, he wore a dark green cloak and a hood so his face could not be seen, however he carried a certain staff with a blade and jewel in the top of it. Just then the stranger cam across something amazing.
Loki sought shelter in a nearby cave and then sat down in a meditative stance. Focusing the power of his scepter he went into deep awaited him when he awoke he really didn't expect for before him was a completely new landscape a mountainous looking terrain in vibrant blue and turquoise colours. The ground Loki stood on was very rocky terrain but from a birds eye view it looked like a large Yin and Yang symbol however the circle on the other side was dark. However what caught Loki's attention was a small orange coloured twisted tree with an eye looking shape inside.
On the front it looked like a dark red coloured energy seal like it was keeping something in. Loki simply smirk and cast away his cloak as his full Asgardian armour revealed itself. He approached the tree however he was greeted by strange creatures in dark purple colour with orange symbols for eyes. It looked ready to pounce, however this was no match for a god of Asgard.
With one blast of Loki's staff the creature seemed to vaporise into energy. However it reformed behind the god of mischief Loki was ready to attack, until suddenly a glow from the tree seemed to make the creature back off in some form of fear.
"You have an amusing way of greeting visitors." Loki said openly but there was no one for him to talk to.
"I grow restless. State why you are here!" A voice echoed through the land.
"You are not one of patience are you, but then again from what I understand of this world the spirits are always content on violence." Loki spoke as he wandered the area around the tree. "I know you doubt my intentions, but I promise you I will set you free, and you will have what you seek, providing you are as powerful as you claim."
"YOU DARE DOUBT ME! QUESTION ME! ME WHO LEAD YOU TO THIS WORLD, ME WHO ALLOWED YOU TO SEE KNOWLEDGE NO HUMAN EYES SHOULD SEE!" The voice yelled. "ALL SO YOU CAN CLAIM POINTLESS RETRIBUTION FOR BANSIHMENT."
"I WAS A KING!" Loki yelled but he calmed down and regained his demeanour. "The rightful king of Asgard, I was betrayed humiliated, countless times over not just by my own kin but by mortals who play at being gods!" He continued to circle the tree.
"Your vision of grander maybe boundless, but all childish. There is more than you can ever comprehend at work here." The voice continued. "A time when the spirits roamed the lands only to have it taken by humans, but when I am free I will right this grievous wrong!"
Loki simply chuckled. "It seems that you and I really aren't that different, but the only difference is, I am free and you are not." Suddenly more of the dark creatures surrounded the Asguardian but he made no effort to defend himself.
"Forgive me I did not mean to overstep." Loki said. "I do see the feats we can accomplish, but unfortunately we face a complication."
"Which would be?" The voice asked in curiosity and it seemed to come from the tree.
"The Avatar." Loki simply said. "But of course you know this being by another nameā¦.Rava."
The very mention of that name made the tree glow with immense energy which Loki shielded himself with his staff as the creatures were wiped out in one wave of this dark energy.
"Do not say that name! The name of the one responsible for my imprisonment in this accused tree!" The voice exclaimed in anger.
"Ah it would seem I've touched a nerve, I have seen the girls power, and while she may master all the elements and attained her spiritual powers, she still has yet to fully grasp them." Loki explained. "But she is aided by enemies from my world, mortals with power and of course my own brother."
"Meer mortal humans have no threat to me!" The Voice said again.
"Thats exactly what I thought. However in my miscalculation of underestimating them, they handed me a great defeat many times over." Loki explained as now he stood before the very eye of the tree itself. "So if I am to open the bars of your prison, and if your power is to be mine to command, we must stand with allies of our own and fortunately I have already found it in the Northern tribe of this land."
This made the eye look in contemplation all was silent until finally it spoke. "You will have that which you desire Asgardian, but let it be known should you deceive me or betray my confidence in anyway, there will be nowhere in either the spirit or physical world you can go where we will not find you and make you suffer greatly!"
"Duely noted." Loki said. "However as you can see." He lifted up his right fist and opened it to reveal a small red glowing stone which floated up. "I already have the first of the seeds needed for my plan to succeed, the power to shape reality to your will! And when the time of convergence comes the rest will ensure our plans come to fruition."
"If this relic along with the others does as you claim I will soon have the power to break the shackles that Rava and Wan had placed on me and the vengeance that has eluded me shall be mine!" The Voice yelled.
Loki smirked at those words. "So it shall be. Vaatu." Loki's spirit then faded away into darkness and within the tree lay a long kite like being as black as night with red glowing symbols and dark tendrils. The centre eye alone made the Eye of Sauron from Lord of The Rings look like a candle on a stick.
"Soon!" Vaatu spoke eerily.
