Maxie's POV
I carefully applied eyeliner to my eyes, my hands were shaking as I did so. Lulu Spencer walked over to me, taking the eyeliner from me.
"Let me help you." Lulu expertly applied the eyeliner to my eyes.
"Why am I even nervous? I love Johnny, I want to be with him. I want to have his babies and be his wife." Maxie didn't know what was wrong with her!
"It's wedding jitters Max, it's fairly common. You'll be okay once you see Johnny, it happened to me when I married Dante. It doesn't mean that you don't love him, this next step is life changing but you have a man that loves you. I promise you'll be okay." Lulu had felt Maxie was feeling.
"Good, I'm not crazy then. Thank you for being here Lulu, I don't think I could do this by myself." Maxie stood up to hug her best friend.
"I wouldn't miss this, Maxie. You're my best friend. You'll be okay once you see Johnny. You two are going to be together forever, you're one of the strongest couples I know. Besides Dante and I, of course." Lulu smirked at the end of her sentence, hugging Maxie back.
"Always one upping me." Maxie rolled her eyes.
Johnny's POV
"Knock knock." Ethan Lovett smirked walking into the room I was getting ready in.
"You're finally here." I chuckled, looking at my best friend.
"Kristina took forever to get ready, sorry mate. How are you feeling?" Ethan leaned against the doorframe.
"Actually, I'm a little nervous. Is that normal?" I asked him, tying my black tie.
"Yeah, it is. It's just jitters, it'll be okay mate. You and Max are solid. I had them horribly before I married Krissy, but the moment I saw her in that dress waiting for me? I felt nothing but happiness that I get to spend the rest of my life with her. You'll feel it too, trust me." Ethan was very rarely serious, Johnny could tell he meant every word of his statement.
"You're right, thanks man." Johnny nodded, relief washing over him.
"What are best mates for?" Ethan smirked as they heard the music starting up.
"I guess that's our cue." I said.
"Ready to walk me down, oh brother of mine?" Lulu smirked, appearing seemingly out of nowhere.
"This must be killing you." Ethan Snickers at the sight of Lulu's pastel pink dress.
"I hate pink more than anything but, I love Maxie more than I hate pink. I'm burning this though, it makes me look white." Lulu crossed her arms, earning a chuckle from both of them.
"Thanks for the comic relief Lu." My nerves were going down slowly but surely.
"Just so you know, Maxie's feeling the same things. Once you guys are at that altar it'll just disappear. It happens to everyone, hell it happened to me. I promise you guys will be okay. Now Ethan, let's go!" Lulu smiled at Johnny, it was crazy how life worked out. At one time in his life, it would have been Lulu he was going to marry. Johnny walked down the aisle, followed by Lulu and Ethan.
Maxie's POV
I heard the music starting up from my dressing room, uncle Mac stood in the doorway.
"You look beautiful." He smiled.
"Thank you uncle Mac." I walked towards him, knowing it would be us walking down the aisle in mere minutes.
"It's going to be hard letting you go, I don't think much of Johnny but he makes you happy so I can endure him for you." Maxie could tell this was hard on her uncle.
"Oh Mac, you're going to make me cry I love you. You're the best uncle and dad I could have ever asked for." Maxie threw her arms around him, Mac returned her hug.
"You're not the only one about to shed a few tears." Mac tried to keep his voice even.
"We should go, they're probably waiting for us." Mac led Maxie to the doors of the church...taking a deep breath Maxie looped her arm through his, and they made their way down to the altar.
"Who gives this woman to this man?"Jason Morgan cleared his throat, Maxie had made him be the ordained minister. It was easy online.
"I do." Mac says, releasing Maxie so she could stand in front of Johnny.
"You look beautiful." Johnny smiled at her, taking both of her hands in his.
"You look sexy. Am I allowed to say that in church?" Maxie smirked at him.
"Probably not." Johnny softly chuckled, all of their nerves gone from the moment they saw each other.
"Do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband, til death do you part?" Jason asked.
"I do." Maxie said.
"Do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded Wife?" Jason turned to Johnny.
"I do." Johnny smiled at Maxie.
"You may kiss the bride." Jason skipped over a few things but, overall he was a good ordained minister. Johnny tipped Maxie back and kissed her, all their worries melting away.
