I have not posted anything on this site for several months, often there were other things that got in the way, often I forgot about writing entirely, going into 2024 I hope I can make time for this, but life is unpredictable, I have an announcement to make, as of January 2023 I identify as a woman, I use she/her pronouns now, with that out of the way I'll start this the only way I can think of, I have not watched a single episode of rwby outside season 1 and a couple season 4 episodes, but I have extensively read fanfiction about all the things that happened elsewhere along with the occasional youtube video and reading the wiki quite a bit, hopefully this isn't too bad

It is a sudden flash, then, everyone relevant to the plot appears, rwby, jnpr, the staff at beacon, salem and her cult, (there are more but I don't care enough to list them) none have their weapons with them, they try to use their semblances, or in the case of ozpin and salem, magic, they also don't work, at this point they notice where exactly they are, a cinema, or theatre as they would know it as, nobody is around

Ruby pov

To say she would be freaked out would be an understatement, she had just started her new life at beacon, as team leader, now she is in an unfamiliar location seemingly out of nowhere, her precious crescent rose is gone, ozpin and this weird witch lady are having a shouting match over something, it's chaos

Then she sees the snack bar

With nothing better to do she walks over to it, looking at the strange and unfamiliar brands, she goes out to touch one of the boxes of sweets available, only for yang to smack her hand away "you don't know what they are" at this ruby rolls her eyes "come on yang it's just candy" "you don't know that, they could have razor blades or something in them" "that's silly" "it could be true" "why don't you open the box" yang is rightfully spooked at it, but carefully opens it, with her arms outstretched in case it was a bomb or something, it isn't, just sweets, she had never heard of cadbury, but they seem fine

Weiss pov

This day has gone horribly, first, she isn't made leader of her team, then she learns that dolt ruby is the leader, now they, their sister team and the staff have been kidnapped, this must be the work of someone very powerful, that wouldn't explain why her glyphs aren't working but what else could it be?

And would you look at what the dolt is up to now, she and her brute of a sister are engorging on the candy like pigs at the concession stand, not even caring if it might be poisoned or something, she'll have to put a stop to that
"Hey, what do you think you're doing" "what's the matter ice queen? Scared of having fun?" "that could be poisoned you brute" "it isn't, I checked it" "how did you- you know what, fine, I'll go find a way out of here" "you do that" with that she stormed away, she happened to pass the ticket stand, much to her surprise there were tickets already there, all having their names on them, and the names of the staff, and names she didn't recognize, they all were for the same movie, 'ratatouille', what a silly name

Host pov

It is at this point the host makes herself known, quite literally appearing out of thin air, it is amusing for her to see them reach for weapons they know they don't have, she tries to get them to willingly follow her "there is no need to be so scared, I'm sure you have many questions, I will answer them all if you willingly come along" as expected most refuse, weiss, the stupid racist girl, demands to be released, she ultimately decides to simply teleport them in, firmly strapped to their seats

So yeah, this is the introduction, if you couldn't tell I am awful at character interaction, I'm great at world-building, but that isn't helpful, the next chapter should be better
