Harry gasped; he could not help himself. The large dungeon he had entered was horribly familiar. He had not only seen it before, he had been here before: This was the place he had visited inside Dumbledore's Pensieve, the place where he had watched the Lestranges sentenced to life imprisonment in Azkaban. The walls were made of dark stone, dimly lit by torches. Empty benches rose on either side of him, but ahead, in the highest benches of all, were many shadowy figures. They had been talking in low voices, but as the heavy door swung closed behind Harry an ominous silence fell. A cold male voice rang across the courtroom.

"You're late."

"Sorry," said Harry nervously. "I-I didn't know the time had changed."

"That is not the Wizengamot's fault," said the voice. "An owl was sent to you this morning. Take your seat." Harry dropped his gaze to the chair in the center of the room, the arms of which were covered in chains. He had seen those chains spring He had seen those chains spring to life and bind anybody between them.

(-From the order of the phoenix introduction to entering the court room during Harry's trial).

Whispering broke out when he entered, some good most bad, and a witch clapped her hands and the murmuring died out.

"You are Harry James Potter?" An eagle-eyed witch in the middle asked. Harry nodded his head. Lots of people introduced themselves, including somebody who made Harry's spirits soar, Albus Dumbledore, who just walked in. There was also Alastor Moody, Cornelius Fudge (That idiot), Somebody who looked like a toad named Deleres Fumbleridge or Dolores Umbridge, he wasn't sure which one.

"Ah," said Fudge, who looked thoroughly disconcerted. "Dumbledore. Yes. You — er — got our — er — message that the time and — er — place of the hearing had been changed, then?"

"I must have missed it," said Dumbledore cheerfully. "However, due to a lucky mistake I arrived at the Ministry three hours early, so no harm done." (Also copied from Ootp). Dumbledore then conjured a chair and sat down.

"Since you have no witnesses, I'm afraid we will have to dismiss you saying that it was because of dementors as a lie and-." Fudge said smugly.

"-Actually we do have a witness." Dumbledore interjected.

"Their are no wizards or witches living in little Whinging, which has always been closely monitored due to past events." Madam Bones said sharply.

"Actually the person is a squib, and squibs incidentally can see dementors." Said Dumbledore calmly. Then Fudge instructed Percy to get the witness, who explained to the people present what happened, occasionally interjected by sharp questions from Madam Bones, but giving in decent detail what happened, though at first it seemed like she had seen no more than a picture of a dementor, but when she explained how it felt it seemed realistic.

"Well I'm convinced." Madam Bones said, after thinking for a while and frowning.

"You seriously believe that nonsense?" Fudge asked incredously, trying to bully her into saying that Harry was lying, as it seemed that she was influential, if she said that Harry was lying lots would. She ignored the question and asked

"Are we ready to decide whether to let him off or not?" Lots of people, including Fudge shook their heads.

"Well if you're not ready to decide if Harry is innocent or not and if Harry has no more evidence to give what should we do, we're wasting time."

"Actually I would like to say somethings." The Fumbleridge or Umbridge lady said.

"Yes?" Asked Madam Bones sharply.

"You see, all the dementors are under ministry control, so we have solid evidence that Harry is lying and we should punish him with-" She started before Harry interjected

"-You miserable old toad, how is this fair, haven't you ever thought that some dementors might be under someone else's control? Some people laughed while most stared at Harry angrily.

"Are you suggesting something Mr. Potter?" She asked in her most sweetly dangerous voice.

"Yes, I've told you guys before and I'll tell you again; Lord Voldemort came back, he is alive and roaming around, and there is a high chance it was him who did it." Fudge laughed rather cruelly.

"You expect us to believe you, an attention seeking prat who is a parcelmouth and has a muggle-born for a mother." Anger swelled up in Harry with this insult. Now Harry understood what Dumbledore meant last year when he said Fudge places too much importance on blood purity. Some members of the wizengamt looked at Fudge angrily while Madam Bones said. Fudge however seemed to be regretting saying this., probably due to the lost support

"Minister! You are supposed to be unbaised, not a pure-blood supremecist!"

"Yes, sorry, I got carried away." He mumbled.

"But it is interesting that you are a parsel mouth." A person mused.

"Yeah, that makes me wonder if my trust in him is misplaced." Another said.

"And he runs around with ware-wolves and half-giants." And people kept on saying that kind of things before Fudge interrupted.

"Now I suggest a minimum sentence of two and a half years and having him expelled from Hogwarts, who is with me?" Dread filled Harry's heart as he saw just over half raised their hands. He was going to Azkaban.
