Hey guys, it's been a while since I last wrote on Wattpad. So hope you'll enjoy the story ^^

NOTE: This story takes place after Achnologia is finally defeated, but instead of team Natsu going on the 100 year quest, they continue their life as it was before.

Lucy's P.O.V

I was walking towards the guild and was about to open the doors when Gray beat me to it and stopped to only give me a 'Yo' before rushing towards the request board. Half of the guild hall was empty while the remaining guild members rushed towards the request board and dashed out of the guild to go on solo missions.

I walked towards the bar to be greeted by Mira, I was about to sit on the stool when someone pushed me aside making me fall on my butt.

"Yo Mira, I'm taking this mission" I heard the familiar voice say and looked up to see Natsu and Happy both grinning.

"IDIOT! CAN'T YOU SEE WHERE YOU'RE GOING? YOU KNOCKED ME OUT OF THE STOOL!" I shouted at Natsu, and he looked at me as if I had grown another head.

"Geez, Relax Luce and here, let me help you up" he said as he extended his hands towards me with that bright grin on his charming face. A small blush formed on my face as I accepted his hand whilst giving him one of my own smiles.

With a tug, Natsu pulled me up but the force he put in was a little too strong and I ended up falling on top of Natsu, to which he steadied us both by placing his hands around my waist. I blushed at the contact and looked up to see Natsu's cheeks tinted pink as well.

We stared at each other, blushing when I head Mira cough. I immediately let go of Natsu and stood to the side as Natsu too let go of me. He scratched his head as he looked at me with a small smile.

"Sorry about that" Natsu said as he looked at me with a tint of pink dusting his tanned skin and then continued to pass the request to Mira for approval.

"It's alright, what mission are you heading to?" I asked.

Mira stamped the request for approval and Happy grabbed the request.

"It's mission to catch a few dark guild members that are hiding in the town of Zinnia" Natsu said as he continued to look at me.

"Dark guild? Isn't it too dangerous to be going on your own?" I asked, concern evident in my voice.

"It isn't so dangerous Luce, if not it wouldn't be posted here. They are just normal mages, nothing me and Happy can't handle. Right buddy?" Natsu asked as Happy replied with an 'Aye'

"Alright, but please be careful you two" I said and they both grinned.

"Will meet you later Luce, no time to waste" Natsu said as he ruffled my hair which made me blush again and gave me a grin before he dashed off towards the guild doors.

Happy looked back at me and shouted a "See you later Luce" before flying off with Natsu.

"Take care you two and don't destroy anything this time" I shouted after them to which they only turned around and waved at me with their goofy smiles and ran out the doors.

I sighed before looking at Mira to which she smiled.

"Would you like to order something Lucy?" She asked as she continued to wipe the glass that had just been washed.

"Just a strawberry milkshake please" I said as I smiled at Mira and placed the money on the table.

"5 minutes and your order will be ready" she said as she walked to the back of the kitchen.

I sat there looking around the guild, it wasn't as noisy as usual as most of the members were out on solo missions. The S-class exam was coming up once again in about 2 months from now and everyone in the guild were excited. I myself had just gotten back from a mission 2 hours ago. It had been 5 months since we defeated Achnologia and Zeref. Though many members could be easily classified as S-class mages just based on how they fought against Alvarez, the members still insisted on following the guild rules.

"Here you go" Mira said as she placed the freshly prepared strawberry milkshake in front of me.

"Thank you Mira" I said gleefully as I sipped the milkshake and sighed in contentment.

"How did the mission go Lucy?" Mira asked as she served Cana another huge glass of beer, which Cana chugged in seconds.

"It went pretty well Mira" I said as I continued to sip the milkshake. "The bandits were huge in number but not that powerful. With the help of Loke and Taurus I was able to finish this job without destroying anything. I also got the full reward money. All in all, it was a success" I said as I tried to sip in the remaining milkshake by tilting the glass slightly.

"That's good to hear Lucy, especially when you're always complaining about how Natsu destroys everything, and you barely get any Jewels" Mira said with a light chuckle and I nodded and gave her a small smile.

Sure, going on solo missions helped me get more Jewels, but they were boring, and I felt like I was always missing a piece of myself. I missed going on jobs with my team. They were always so chaotic and noisy, in a good way of course. I especially missed Natsu and Happy, they were always there, bugging, annoying and also making me happy. There was never a dull moment with them around. But now? now I was bored out of my mind. Even walking a few minutes felt like I had walked for hours.

I sighed and put my head on the counter.

"Something wrong Lucy?" asked Mira from behind the bar

With my forehead still on the counter, I replied "I always get bored doing the solo missions, I don't want to go on anymore solo missions."

"Aww, it's just been a week since everyone started going on solo missions and you already miss him" Mira sang as I heard her clap her hands.

I looked up to see Mira looking me with sparkles in her eyes and I blushed slightly, knowing who the 'Him' she referred to was.

"I don't know whom you mean by 'him', but I'm missing my whole team Mira" I said as I once again put my head down on the counter.

I felt Mira patting my head softly in a continuous motion as she said, "Everything's going to be alright Lucy, I'm sure Natsu has already realized his feelings for you."

I sighed before snuggling deeper into my arms. "I don't have feelings for Natsu" I said " Also, I'm sure that dense idiot doesn't have any feelings for me" I mumbled.

Mira gave me 1 last pat on my head before whispering, "But I'm sure you have feelings for Natsu though."

I lifted my head in shock and looked at Mira with wide eyes.

"What? N- No we're best friends is all Mira" I said as I made a X with my hand.

"If you say so" she said with a mischievous smile as she left to serve a guild member.

I sighed as I looked at the guild to see the members rushing in and out the doors to do their solo missions.

"Well, I better go on one too" I said to myself before making my way to the request board.

I scanned the request board, searching for a mission that can be completed within a day. After scanning around 5-6 requests, my eyes finally landed on a suitable mission.

'Need help cooking for 300 people in the town of Hemlock - Reward = 50000J' I could definitely do this job, especially with the help of Virgo and the others

I picked up the request from the request board and headed towards the bar to get approval seal from Mira, who was leisurely wiping the glasses that she had just washed, as Levy approached the bar.

" Hey Mira, I would like to go on this job" I heard Levy say excitedly as I joined her.

I waited for Mira to stamp Levy's request, once done, Levy grabbed the paper and said bye to us as she rushed out the guild doors.

"I too would like to go on this job Mira" I said as I passed the paper to Mira.

Mira noted down the nature of the request and its details in the 'Guild's record book' and them stamp the paper.

"Here you go" she said as she slid the paper back to me with a smile.

"Thank you Mira, will be back by 9 pm" I said.

Mira nodded with smile and then came closer to whisper "Don't be too distracted thinking about a certain fire dragon slayer alright?"

I blushed and stammered "Y-you... I- I don't see him that way" I said and waved her goodbye before running out the doors and towards my apartment to grab some basic stuff.

'No matter how much I deny it, Mira already knows that I like Natsu' I thought and then sighed to myself. 'Like' was an understatement, I was already head over heels in love with him.

I stopped and looked towards the sky, taking a deep breath "Don't lose hope Lucy, there's still hope" I said to myself before smiling and running off towards my apartment.

After gathering the needed stuff, I went to the train station and bought the ticket. After waiting for about 10 minutes, the train to Hemlock finally arrived.

"Here goes nothing" I said to myself as I boarded the train.
