"Moxxie's Mother."
(I.M.P Headquarters, somewhere in Imp City.)
The team is gathered at the meeting room, except for Layla, and Moxxie is awake from his fainting experience and unexpected surprise, and they all look to the imp woman, Ruby who is the mother of Moxxie. All of them have so many questions.
Ruby sighs. "You all have many things to ask of me, correct?"
Blitz is about to ask, but then Verosika stops him. She showed up after she got word of this from Loona, and so Moxxie speaks. "Okay, so rewind the tape and just stop. Are you actually my mother? Is this all real?"
Lincoln feels like slapping Moxxie to show him, but then Ruby speaks. "Son, it is me in the flesh. I am here, and this is no dream. I am so glad to see you again, my son." she then sees Millie, EveLynn and Lucy and she smiles.
"I see that you have started a family, something I have always wanted you to try and do for the better, and away from what you're horrible jackass of a father couldn't do. I am so proud of you my son, for the life you have now…. Despite the fact it involves killing."
Moxxie is surprised to hear this, and he recalls that his mother didn't like him killing people a lot back then, and would teach him some target practice but not an an actual living thing.
EveLynn then speaks. "Excuse me, but we thought Crimson killed you. How the heck are you still even alive?"
Ruby smiles, and she speaks. "Don't worry about asking, my grand daughter, ad I will tell you all."
"Now, I used to be with what Crimson did back then, after he swooned me away from Wrath Ring, and because I was also somewhat part of a mafia gang from Wrath Ring that tired to maintain control and dominion over some locations away from anyone else. I was the best they had, and the best they have depended on when it comes to aim, and precise shots."
This makes them see where Moxxie got the snipers eye when shooting, sometimes.
"Crimson and I, we became partners and did what we wanted, and we enforced the mob he operated within Greed Ring, and we merged both groups since Wrath Ring had it's own issue of outcasts and outlaws who seemed better at what we can do, and yet the imps there could survive and fight back even without us around."
"But, as time went on, the attitude and personality of Crimson had changed, and he became more violent than ever, and wouldn't even hesitate to kill an innocent child or even a baby. I didn't know who he was anymore, he was no longer the imp I fell in love with, and then I found out that I was pregnant with Moxxie."
"Crimson wanted Moxxie to become the heir to his empire, and family legacy and become him. But, I try to guide him down a better path, and use his skills for good and not for something horrid, even though we were thriving and living in hell, I stood out of what other imps do because I was raised right by my family."
They are now wondering where this not so dangerous side of imp civilization came from, because it sounds like those imps could be redeemed and no longer reside in hell if they are good.
"We had disputes, arguments and I wanted a divorce, and to take Moxxie with me. Crimson, didn't want that, and instead he had his henchmen come after me, and try to kill me. They beat me to death, but I am tough and from Wrath Ring and so they tied me up with chains, and dumped me into the waters. Just like the other victims they have killed."
"But, as an imp from Wrath Ring, chains are not an issue for me, and I managed to free myself, but I needed Crimson to know that I am deceased and so I left my shoe behind for him to think that I was no more. After I freed myself, and surfaced back, I thought of going for Moxxie and taking him away from that shit stain whom I used to love."
"But then, I thought otherwise, and if I did take Moxxie away, then he'd see that I am still alive, and try to hunt us down no matter where we go. I had to steer clear, and just watch from afar as you grew up and become someone dangerous, but then I saw how things changed, and you became part of something else, and…. Strayed away from what you're father tried to make you into."
Moxxie and the others are surprised. "You have been watching over me?"
Ruby nods. "Yes, I have. I was also there, at you're wedding, and I am surprised that Millie didn't even realize who I was…."
Millie then recalls, this female imp who congratulated here, and then said. "Please, take care of him and always be together." Millie now has some tears, and she is stunned and amazed.
Ruby then continues. "I couldn't go to earth, but I saw on the news of how you adopted two human girls and gave them a new look in life, and that you have a part-time job as a music teacher." She then looks upset. "I tried to muster the courage, to speak with you, but I felt like a disappointment because I was never there for you."
"But then I got word about what went down at Greed Ring, which involved you're father and that friendless asshole, Chaz. I knew, that it was time and so…. Here I am, and sorry it took so long. I needed to be sure that Crimson wouldn't know what is happening, and that he would stay clear of all of you."
Ruby then wipes away some tears. "And now here you are. All grown up, and a new life, a family and…. I am so proud of you my son."
Everyone is moved hearing this, especially Blitz since he misses his mother a lot, and like Moxxie, hates his own father.
Moxxie remains silent, and he stands up and so does Ruby, he then goes over to her, and then he hugs her. This surprises Ruby, and then Moxxie speaks. "Mom, I forgive you, and I will always love you."
This makes Ruby shed tears of joy, and she hugs him back. This touching moment then has Millie, EveLynn and Lucy also head over, and join in the hug.
The other clap seeing this, seeing a mother and son reunited, and now a big family. Blitz takes a photo and he smiles. 'This is going to Moxxie and Millie's photo album, congrats on getting you're mom back Moxxie.'
"To be continued folks!"
