With Jin:
"Apologies for the inconvenience, but I was shut down when the master was drawn into the black hole or teleporter," Ai informed, offering an explanation to Jin to preempt any judgment or dismissal.
Ever since developing a semi-personality, she had become increasingly self-conscious and had a newfound desire to please her creator.
"By the way, Aurora, how did my wound heal automatically? I don't recall having the ability to recover from heavy blood loss, missing organs, and injuries like this," Jin inquired, still grappling with the bizarre turn of events. Instead of being near death, he found himself in perfect health.
"The scan is complete, Boss. As for your latest query, I didn't inform you that I have complete control over your nanobots because you were unconscious," she replied. "You can regain control if you wish."
Jin pondered this for a moment. "That can only mean they either developed self-awareness or gained consciousness through my new core, integrating with it..." He said considering that these nanobots healed all his injuries from scratch.
"It happened approximately 4-5 hours after we crashed in the desert. Some form of foreign energy interfered with your organic cells," she disclosed, revealing information she had previously withheld.
Jin was taken aback by the new information. "So, your cyber organs, particularly the core, began absorbing these particles around me.
These particles are present everywhere in small amounts, similar to oxygen or nitrogen, but apparently more hazardous than bathing in radioactive liquid for humans," she concluded, summarizing her findings about their new surroundings.
"You're suggesting we've landed on an alien planet that's 95% similar to Earth," Jin remarked, bewildered by the incredibility of it all.
"Wait you said human… did…am I no longer human because of it." He asked in confusion as her words make no sense how can he no longer be human, nothing about him changed at all so how?
"You dna have changed Sir by 3%, I know thanks to nanobots in your body but you are still human but not 100%." She said.
"I could really use some rest... Even though I'm accustomed to the unusual, this is beyond me. I need a good night's sleep," he muttered, ordering a pause in their journey, feeling both excited and mentally fatigued.
"There are no organic life forms nearby, Sir. I recommend running in a straight line for about 50 minutes to reach a suitable location," she suggested.
"Then let's find a place quickly. Create a new objective and name it 'survival,'" Jin instructed.
"Done." She quickly responded.
"Let's go, and you can provide a more detailed report about the scan later." He further instructed her. "Okay."
Following her advice, Jin sprinted in a straight line, utilizing his cybernetic legs for 50 minutes. Thanks to his modified cyberware and the use of "Reinforced Fortified Tendons" at 100% output, he covered an astonishing distance of 100 km in just an hour.
"Finally, some greenery," he gasped as he paused, catching his breath. "I didn't encounter a single living being or animal during the run. It doesn't matter for now."
"Can I start the report on the last scan you requested, Jin?" Aurora politely inquire, as she had skipped his health report due to his earlier query.
"Hmm," he responded while chopping down a few trees with the help of his mantis blades, which cut through them like a hot knife through butter.
"Every piece of cyberware in your body, whether passive or active, is functioning at 1000% efficiency without side effects thanks to your 3% changed dna, as I mentioned earlier, because of the special particles being absorbed and utilized as fuel by the core," Aurora explained.
"The core absorbed these particles, re-engineering the nanobots and enhancing the function of the cyberware in the process."
"What a chain reaction... I never expected something like this could happen." He gave his honest perplexed reaction but he didn't panic about it as all results taking place are possible in a manner.
"I have a theory, Sir, regarding the portal and your core." She asked for permission before proposing her idea to him. "Hmm, go on without hesitation." He commanded and began to build a house from the logs he chopped down.
"Firstly, it doesn't seem like a coincidence that you constructed the core from a space rock and created the portal."
"Are you suggesting it's all connected? It certainly sounds orchestrated to me, but there are still many unanswered questions. For now, let's focus on the strange particles you mentioned."
"While I work on creating shelter and finding food, you can conduct further inspections."
