Chapter 6: Snow Maiden
"So... how many newspapers do we have now?" Moka asked.
"Only one, but the club sure made a profit." Kurumu stated.
"Gin wasn't helpful at all. He was trying to peek up the skirts of girls that came to buy newspapers." Tsukune groaned out.
Sky rolls his eyes and picks up the news paper and thinks about Tsukune and the girls relationship and hopes they have a good one while, he's alone.
A feminine hand tapped onto Sky's shoulder.
"Mmm?" Sky turns around and sees a girl that has light purple hair which long and has blue eyes, with a bit of purple at the top.
"How much would a newspaper cost? My name is Mizore Shirayuki." the girl spoke while having a lollipop in her mouth.
"Since it's the last, it's free." Sky smiled making the girl blush a bit.
Sky gives her the paper, she quickly runs off, while Sky felt a little blush on his cheeks.
"Well, I guess that we'll be celebrating after school tomorrow." Tsukune said, causing Kurumu to glomp him.
'You have to be kidding me! Tsukune is mine!' Moka thought as she and Kurumu got into a lovers tug of war with Tsukune caught in the middle.
'Jealousy... I should be experiencing this too, but many many boys have died because of my unruly subordinates in the Swimming Club.' Tamao thought as she watched the lovers tug go nowhere for a minute.
Sky then shake his head and heard about the party that's tomorrow and decided to surprise everyone with a cake, then leaves to go back to his dorm till tomorrow.
-The next day, homeroom-
As students milled in, Ms. Nekonome was waiting and then both Sky and Mizore arrived and got seated before the bell rang. She then said, "Alright, it's time to take roll. Akashiya Moka."
"Here." Moka answered.
"Tsukune Auno" Mrs Nekomata said.
"Here." Tsukune answered.
"Oops, I forgot someone. Akashiya Sky." Ms. Nekonome muttered as some small drops of sweat ran down her face.
"Here." Sky answered then looks at an empty sit and wondered if that Mizore girl was gonna be here.
"Mizore Shirayuki." Ms. Nekonome said.
"Here." Mizore's voice could be heard from the seat behind Sky.
'How did I not notice her sit behind me!?' Sky thought to himself.
"Now class, today we'll be studying about-" Mrs Nekomata was starting the lesson while Sky was paying attention, Mizore was writing something behind him.
Tsukune, Tamao, and Yukari were actually paying attention to the lesson as well. Kurumu and Moka were both partially paying attention and taking notes while simultaneously daydreaming about Tsukune.
-Timekskip-
In the hallway Sky was with the others and were preparing a party.
"So Sky want are you gonna bring?" Kurumu asked while holding Tsukunes arm.
"Maybe a cake, because who doesn't love cake." Sky answered while the others went to get supplies, Sky was thinking about Mizore.
'Hmm... maybe a popsicle or two will entice her to come to the party and join the club.' Sky thought before he saw her walking around.
One thing that Sky observed though was that Mizore was moving as if she was trying to avoid being seen by someone.
As Sky followed her, she turned a corner and then he lost sight of her. Unknown to him, Mizore had wanted him to catch sight of her.
"Where the hell did she go?" Sky asked himself.
"Guys, did you hear the rumor?" a random male student asked.
"What?" a second one asked.
"Apparently, rumor is that a snow girl likes to hang out around the lake. A blizzard will occur when it happens." the first guy answered.
Sky then went to the lake and tried to find her, then he sat down and was about to give up on the search.
A blizzard then started up a few seconds before Mizore was right behind him. "Looking for me?" ske asked quasi-innocently.
Sky got up and saw Mizore. "Uhh yea, geez its cold, but I'm used to it where am from." Sky then grabbed a flat rock and skipped it.
"So I'm guessing your stirring up this blizzard?" Sky asked.
"Yep. There is a reason for it though: it's to keep Mr. Kotsubo away. He's the current P.E. Teacher and a complete ass." Mizore answered.
"Oh yea, and a freaking asshat, tried to touch my friends and cousin." Sky then crushed the rock in his hand. "Trust me, he's got a special place in hell for people like him."
A figure dressed in silvery armor then arrived in the blizzard. "Who are you?" Mizore asked.
The figure answered, "Ripa 'Moramee, replacement P.E. Teacher of Youkai Academy. While touring the school, I encountered a teacher molesting a female student and promptly decapitated him. He called himself... Kotsubla Okatu or something along those lines. I then brought the corpse to the headmaster and explained myself to him. He told me that what I did was right and that his actions would have warranted death as he had forced himself on a few female alumni of Youkai Academy in the past."
"Wow, and let me guess he's suffering in hell?" Sky asked the figure nodded.
In hell, Kotsubo's soul was being tortured by several imps by being boiled alive in a cauldron.
"Yes, keep screaming! We'll gonna crank it up further!" an imp screeched as it heard Okuto Kotsubo's soul screaming.
Back on earth.
"Yep, you actually killed him while you were sleep walking." The figure said shocking the Hybrid and Snow Fairy.
"However, that first death didn't send him to hell. My killing him actually sent him down there. Apparently, Krakens such as him can revive themselves after dying, but it doesn't work if they are decapitated." Ripa 'Moramee stated.
"And I'm guessing he was about to molest Mizore before I killed him?" Sky asked, Ripa nodded and then Mizore hugged Sky.
"You are my guardian Youkai, Sky. Even sealed, you are my demon." Mizore said while hugging the boy.
Sky blushed a deep red and hugged back.
"Anytime, Mizore" Sky said smiling that he saved a girl that he might have feelings for.
(Ripa could explain himself as being a very different type of demon, plus he would be the only Halo character to appear)
"I am a demon as well, but I am a different kind of demon compared to Sky." Ripa spoke.
"Y-Yea, I'm also...umm The next Heir to Hell..." Sky stated not wanting to scare Mizore, but surprisingly she doesn't let go and hugs tighter before kissing his lips.
"You know those stories of how demons don't like being near anything that is related to religion because it hurts them? Well, I am not harmed by Holy Power. The demons that I am part of are known as Nadolestic type demons, which are unlike the typical Infernal type demons that live in hell. In a way, Nadolestic type demons such as myself are similar to humans, albeit with many powers that differ from person to person." Ripa explained.
"And also my grandfather's most loyal demons, despite what Ripa explained." Sky said.
"And it looks like the Prince of Darkness has found his queen." Ripa smirked, making Mizore and Sky blushed.
"Hmm... that reminds me... those others that you were with the other day... were they part of a club? If so, I would like to join them." Mizore said.
"Then let us go, also thanks for the save Ripa." Sky said while taking Mizore to the club.
Ripa enters a portal to hell and kneels in front of two figures.
One of the figures said, "Report, Ripa 'Moramee."
"My queens, The Kraken was almost defeated by the young prince, but since he slept walked while in his Demon form since he didn't know what monster Kotsubo was, he couldn't fully defeat him but weakened him" Ripa explained.
"I see. I take it that you finished what he started?" the other figure replied.
Ripa nods, "yes my queens, I wanted the young prince to be well rested for his trip back home during the summer soon."
