Sydney Cooper is the daughter of Sly and Carmelita and one of Raiden's best friends. She has her father's appearance but her hair is slightly longer and she uses a cane tied off with a blue ribbon.
Sydney meets Raiden and her friends in Paris. The raccoon and her friends save the gang of outsiders from officers who believe they are minions to Nefarious who had attacked their city. Sydney brings the team back to her hideout where she reveals Nefarious had kidnapped her and her friends parents and was keeping them hostage for an unknown reason. Raiden makes a deal with Sydney; if she helps them rescue their parents they would be allowed to join the Allstar Rangers. Sydney immediately accepts and grows closer to Raiden as a result.
Sydney sees herself as a tomboy and has a mischievous and cocky personality. Sydney is world-bent on carrying her family's traditions and making sure her friends are alright. She is a cunning, devious, quick-witted, charming, suave lady thief. She uses her wit, courage, charm and skills to pull off jobs, and often crack jokes and sarcastic comments at the expense of others. Sydney is also very cool, collected and manages to keep a rational head in stressful and chaotic situations. She is also highly intelligent and enjoys complicated puzzles and problems.
Sydney is one Raiden's best friends as the two hit it off when they first met, mostly because their dads fought together and against each other.
