A world with quirks means its people are going to be rather quirky. Whether heroes, villains, or somewhere in-between, every BnHA character deserves to have their story told. These are but tiny 100-word snippets of their lives, told one a day, every day, in 2023. 245. Miyashita

A.N. — Today we go from someone serving a yakuza boss to a manga-only character who's employed by the commander of another type of army. I didn't feel like waiting till December (a crowded month) to match the timeline, so he goes in the more open slot of early September. I also wrote nearly 200 words for this chapter originally and had to cut down with extreme prejudice.

245. Miyashita

As someone with mouse ears atop his head, Miyashita was no stranger to needing specialized goods beyond what normal consumers demanded. So he got a job with Detnerat to assist a group willing to make the type of specialized support gear he needed.

Miyashita was straightforward with his new boss, Rikiya Yotsubashi, having no idea the man had ulterior motives for his altruistic intentions. Meta Liberation Army ideology underpinned the message Miyashita was meant to be delivering with the company's ad campaign. When Miyashita pointed out the discrepancy, Rikiya (or, rather, Re-Destro) made him pay for it with his life.
