Biography:
Themyscira, the Paradise Island inhabited by Amazons through millennia. After the Age of Gods was over, the Amazons cut all ties to the outside world. Queen Hippolyta, longing for a child, created a baby from clay and begged Zeus and Aphrodite to give her life. Her wish was granted and baby Diana was raised as the princess of all Amazons, beloved by her people.
A young American soldier, Steve Trevor, was shot and fell on Themyscira during World War I. He convinced Diana to help humanity to fight tyranny and all villainy in what Amazons knew as Man's World. Hippolyta was reluctant to see her daughter go, but eventually blessed her crusade. Diana wore the star-spangled costume of Wonder Woman, ambassador of peace.
During World War II, Diana joined the Hourman, the Spectre, Wildcat, Johnny Thunder, Doctor Midnight and the Sandman in the first superhero team of Earth, the Justice Society of America. The team was disbanded in the fifties, and Diana never abandoned crimefighting, despite which she kept a lower public profile during the following decades. A brief span in the 1970s saw her losing her powers and training in martial arts under master I-Ching, but she regained her Greek gifts in a short order.
When Superman, Batman, the Flash, Green Lantern, Black Canary, Aquaman and Martian Manhunter formed the Justice League, Diana joined them and even worked as the leader of the team several times. They defeated foes like Kanjar Ro, the White Martians, Doctor Destiny, Darkseid and the Crime Syndicate of Amerika from Earth-3.
Class Skills:
Magic Resistance: B
She fought her universe's versions of Circe, Asterios, Hades, and Medusa, Stheno and Euryale. Lancer also battled Ares, Felix Faust and Neron on a semi-regular basis. Experience has given her plenty of endurance against magic, and most chanted spells are practically useless against her; even those that can hurt her can be easily deflected by her bracelets (see below).
Riding: A
Lancer has centuries of experience riding horses and giant kangaroos in Themyscira. Pretty much any other animals of Earth origins, and even Greek Phantasmal Beasts, can be domesticated and used as mounts. Dragons are another matter altogether.
Lancer also has Man's World expertise with driving cars and motorcycles. She is skilled at piloting airplanes and space vehicles, up to those of New Genesis and Apokolips. She won't be reckless behind the wheel, always mindful about public safety.
Personal Skills:
Amazon Warrior: A
Lancer's Amazon nature, the pinnacle of her race. She was educated by the elite of her island, appreciating the fine arts (later she worked as a curator for Gateway City's History Museum) and mastering all manners of unarmed and armed combat. Her fine performance equals those of heroes from the Age of Gods.
As a Servant, Lancer always carries a shield, a sword, and a spear on her. She could qualify as a Rider, Saber or Shielder. While a skilled fighter who finds excitement on a noble fight, she is mainly an emissary of peace, always trying to reach others through civilized debate. Her noble heart means she won't kill unless necessary, but should it happen, she won't dwell on the fact and move on.
Her Luck is ranked down from B to C thanks to the Lancer class container.
Lasso of Truth: A
A gift to Lancer by Hippolyta. The lasso was made from the belt of Gaia, the Greeks' mother goddess of earth. If wrapped around anyone, it compels them to say the truth no matter what when they are asked on a given topic, or at least what they believe to be the truth. Willing deception is not an option, but if the target actually thinks they are saying the truth after being deceived themselves, the resulting information will be flawed.
The lasso only can be resisted by individuals with unusually high levels of willpower or insanity. The Joker resisted it once. It only can be broken by those with A+, A++, or EX ranked Strength.
Bracelets of Submission: B
A pair of metal bracelets forged from the chains that once held the Amazons of Themyscira captive. Lancer is vulnerable to gunfire from other Heroic Spirits, but she can block and deflect bullets with ease, thanks to her speed and these bracelets. The same applies to spells. The ricochets, thanks to the Olympian enchantment cast on them, will never hit any of Lancer's allies no matter how close they are.
Should someone tie or otherwise bind the bracelets together, Lancer will temporarily lose all of her powers until she is released. This, however, is a nearly impossible task.
Divinity: C
Lancer has a divine origin, since Zeus and Aphrodite took a part in her creation. After her death, she will probably be admitted into the halls of Olympus.
Golden Body: A
Granted beauty by Aphrodite herself, Diana has a toned, lean body that has fascinated many men and ladies alike. She was seen as the archetypical superheroic beauty all through her active period as a crimefighter.
Natural Body: A
Related to Golden Body, Lancer has a top performance physique that won't ever decay or age. Calorical consumption has no effect on her health, weight or figure, which is a good thing since she is very fond of ice cream.
Flight: A+
Lancer is extremely fast and maneuvering when flying on her own power. She can carry several passengers on her back or arms without any effort, and surpassing most modern airplanes is an easy feat.
Noble Phantasm:
Invisible Plane: B
A sleek jet airplane gifted to Lancer by aliens who were once saved by the Amazon. It is invisible to the human eye, but Lancer can see and pilot it without any issues. It can carry up to three allies as passengers at a time.
The Invisible Plane has EX speed, surpassing that of Lancer herself. The Master can be taken from a continent to another in a matter of minutes or even seconds. It doesn't have any weapons, but it can be used to suicide bomb the enemy as a last resource. In any instance, given Lancer's own speed, she can easily fly out of the jet before it collides, saving her life.
Summon: "Servant Lancer. I'm here to help you save the world. Don't falter. Don't back away. You are stronger than you think you are, and I'll be with you, to guide you as long as I can... Master."
Start of Battle:
"Combat as a first option is a fool's choice. You made your move."
"You have engaged in a battle with an Amazon. A bad decision."
"Now I won't rest until one of us has fallen."
Attack:
"You'll be sent to Hades!"
"Athena! Give me strength!"
"I can feel my blood boiling..."
Damage:
"Great Hera!"
"Suffering Sappho!"
"Goddess! Don't abandon me!"
"I'm not hurt yet."
Victory:
" I will fight for those who cannot fight for themselves."
"Hurt you? Where I'm from we try never to hurt people."
"I have a warrior's heart, but I'm not unmoved by your words."
"We have a saying, my people. Don't kill if you can wound, don't wound if you can subdue, don't subdue if you can pacify, and don't raise your hand at all until you've first extended it."
Defeat:
"By Hera!"
"Everything has a price. One I'm not willing to pay. Not any more."
" I used to want to save the world, this beautiful place..."
Defeat by Noble Phantasm:
"Hope never dies!"
Noble Phantasm Activation:
"Invisible Plane! Activation!"
Extra Dialogue:
"Aunt! Aunt Penth! I... I don't know what to say!" (When you have Berserker Penthesilea).
"Mother? Is that you? You... You have changed, Mother!" (When you have Rider Hippolyta).
"The Prince of Power!?" (When you have Berserker Heracles).
"Not since Heracles first put us in chains has an Amazon been bested, War-God! I have been charged by the Gods of Olympus to put an end to your mad schemes...and with their aid, or without it, put an end to it I shall!" (When you have Berserker Ares).
"You... I remember you! You are... that man, from that realm of mists..." (When you have Saber Conan of Cimmeria).
Birthday: "Happy birthday! We can celebrate it like we did on my island, wrestling naked... That was a joke! A joke!"
Event: "This brings memories back. The League, well, we'd often break supervillain parties, and Doctor Light would always sob like a scared baby..."
Holy Grail: "Let me tell you a story, about a man named Maxwell Lord and a magical device that granted wishes..."
