Izuku sat with his feet dangling off the roof, looking up at the sky, when he felt a slight air displacement on his right. "It's a beautiful night, isn't it, Eraser?"

"It is. But what have I said about sitting on the edges of roofs at 2 am, Problem child?" Izuku shrugged silently. He heard a sigh before a tall shadow sat beside him. After a few seconds of silence, Eraserhead passed over a fruit juice.

"what's wrong, kid? Normally you are far more talkative than this."

"You ever wonder what the point is? I know I can't be a hero; multiple people have made it very clear to me. But I can't just stop doing what I'm doing. It's been too long."

Aizawa glanced at the stars before speaking, "Firstly, you are already a hero. Not a licenced one, but if you just came with me, I'm sure I could help you fix that. Secondly, it is a hard job to stop, especially if you don't want to, but you must have other things you do. I doubt you are a vigilante 24/7." Izuku turned to look at his dad favourite hero silently for a few seconds before grinning underneath his mask.

"The answer is still no to turning myself in Eraser, but nice try. I know my rap sheet must be longer than my arm now." Izuku sighed before continuing.

"And yeah, I have other things to keep me occupied, like keeping Dabi alive and out of jail." Aizawa chuckled at the put-out tone in his almost son's voice.

"A full-time job, I'm sure." Izuku rolled his eyes. Eraser didn't know the half of it; honestly, stopping his brother from murdering the number two hero was a lot of effort! Not something he should tell another pro hero, really, but still. Thankfully Hawks was a good influence on his big brother, even if he was a little too up for arson at any given minute for a pro. Still, they had rubbed off on the clueless bird, so he couldn't blame him entirely for his attitude to arson.

"He thought that wet rope was conductive the other day." Izuku deadpanned.

Aizawa froze for a second before looking Nox in the eye "tell me your joking", he pleaded, causing the tiny vigilante to giggle.

"Nope. When I asked if he thought it was conducive, he confidently said it was more so than dry rope." Aizawa stared for a few seconds before looking back at the stars, suddenly tired.

"I can't believe that man is an adult who looks after you." Aizawa sounded awed at the stupidity.

"I have been in charge since I met him in all his scarred glory. So it's not like he will kill me with his stupidity. Probably" Izuku grinned.

"Besides, my boyfriend is pretty good at dealing with Dabi and won't let me die stupidly." Aizawa perked up.

"A boyfriend? That's a new development. you haven't mentioned him before?" Izuku froze before turning to see Eraser trying to look calm and composed.

"Have I not? To be fair, it is a recent thing, but he is even in your class of disaster heroes!" Izuku chirped. Aizawa nodded slowly.

"Oh? Want to give me a name?" Aizawa asked while thinking of how he could get away with making this unnamed kid's life hell if he ever hurt his almost son.

"Nope! You have to figure it out yourself, but I can tell you he is taller than me." Izuka tried not to laugh at the conflicted look on his dad's hero's face. Maybe he should warn Toshi that he told Eraser about dating one of his students. Nah, He was sure it would be fine. Besides, why ruin the surprise of Monday morning? He was sure it would be funny.
